How did A/llan react/feel when he started feeling kicks for the first time?

A sensation caught him off guard one morning. It was so strange that it broke him out if his groggy, half-awake haze. He dropped what he was doing and his hands immediately scrambled to his midsection, accidentally yanking the tie he'd been fiddling with back off.

It was hard to describe at first, but the feeling made him shudder. It almost felt as if someone had swiped their fingers across his stomach.... from the inside....

It only took a moment (after a brief sear of anxiety) to process what was going on, when he felt something lightly push back against the pressure of his fingertips. He breathed an audible sigh.

"Oh... You're kicking... Oh thank God...."

Sure he was acutely aware that babies' movements begin to be palpable around the 2nd trimester, he's been told many a time by this point that he may be about to feel "fluttering" "swishing" or even "bubbling" soon, but actually feeling it is a completely different story.

All at once he was awash in relief... and a sudden burst of excitement!

'Wait a minute... You're kicking! I can FEEL you and you're KICKING! You're moving! Oh my God!..,' were the thoughts that were shotgunning through his mind as a smile crept it's way across his face.

He gently drummed his fingers along the spot he'd felt her last, hoping to initiate further movements. And lo and behold, she made herself known❤️
