Bryan Danielson and Tyler Black did this sequence a couple times in ROH: Tyler hits a hurracanrana which Bryan immediately rolls and counters into a pin. I'm always entertained by this because 1) super gay 2) tyler is so much taller than bryan he always ends up awkwardly crumpling when his neck/shoulders hit the ground.

Just a doodle but here's an idea!

I didn't realize that the thing in her mouth in her old photos was a pencil and not a pipe until I finished drawing so Mari's a smoker I guess. Anyway, my idea for Mari (name meaning "clever" and "sorted/classified/organized house") is that she's Taro's teacher through the whole of the 10 weeks (unless she is eliminated violently or via being fired). She is aware of what's going on in Taro's life- his parents' failing relationship, his subsequent parenting of his little sister Hanako, his sabotaged friendships and failing love life, and the secret admirer he clings to the idea of for hope- and provides a sort of rock for his life, someone he can turn to when he needs to talk. She's the "cool teacher" in a way, and all of her students are fond of her.

As for her rivalry, I can see it going two ways at the same time. One, Taro becomes closer with Mari and starts to develop a crush (which Mari is normal and would firmly reject). This is also how Mayu (nurse rival) goes down, but it's not really meant to imply that Taro likes older women, rather that he's reaching for stability in his suddenly crumbling life and throwing himself into the arms of whoever will give it to him. Two, knowing about his failing relationships and his secret admirer, Mari starts seeing Ayano stalking Taro, and suspects that she may be sabotaging him, either as an elaborate form of bullying or because she is his secret admirer. Worrying for his mental health, she becomes suspicious of Ayano and gets both herself and Genka involved. During her week, the player would have to get her out of the room before leaving gifts or notes for Taro, avoid her noticing them stalking him, and find a way to sabotage her that would remove her ability to keep an eye on them. This could include doing something to make Taro stop trusting her with his problems ("reject"), tricking her and the counselor into believing they're completely unrelated to Taro's misfortune and her suspicion is unfounded ("befriend"), framing her as trying to get Ayano expelled for personal reasons, getting her fired ("expel"), or simply killing her, which would run the risk of making any later punishment from Genka much harsher as she will quickly link any suspicious behavior such as being caught bloody or armed to Mari's disappearance/death.
