now, in our version of them, ''archangel'' is merely a title given to them as something to refer them in full title along with their name, kind of like the knighting thing or royalty,

which fits, because, here they are, being born directly from gods blood, in that way, they basically are his actual kids and not just his creations, so that's what kind of separate them from other angels.

SO- they're kind of a BIG DEAL-

However, they also sort of parallel the overlords/ and the 7 sins, ruling over heaven but in more in the lines of they maintain heaven while they still have responsibilities relating to earth.

they also, sort of stand is as the faces of heaven, aside from royalty they're also kind of celebraties too.

an example being; Uriel, Gabriel, Jophiel parelling the Vs, but instead of leaching off of others, they make sure to keep heaven happy and entertained. individually though like gabe he still does have responsibilites over earth like i mentioned before.

when they were younger they used to live in one big mansion, but after everything and well couple of millennia, they now live separately, occasionally visiting their old home for meetings and that said old home is used as a museum/tourist attraction of sorts.

We know God's view, but how do the other archangels feel about lilith

Romance is a blanket rather alien idea, so none of them really understand it enough to 'approve' of Lilith or not as a partner, so I'm going to mostly talk about how they relate to her directly

All of their feelings are built on a mutual "what the FUCK is wrong with her??" because they are ancient angels with obedience and deference carved inside their hollow bones and her favourite activity is sacrilege

Micheal - Stuck between respect for her from a leadership position and absolute appallment at her just incredible acts of blasphemy. He doesn't like humans in general, it's not personal, he respects all of Father's creations - he makes orderly things that slot together perfectly and that makes working with people difficult. He holds the least amount of resentment against her for the fall, considering Lucifer fully responsible for his own actions... when he's not racked with guilt and anger at himself.

They are mostly just two leaders of rivals kingdoms trying to out politics each other, and occasionally they have 'Respectless' moments where Michael calls her a nobody who only shit talks his Dad out of fear of her insignificance in the face of divine and she calls him a pathetic talentless Nepo baby scared of making choices

Raphael - neutral honestly, couldn't care much for the specifics the situation but Do you understand the eons they spent on that fucking Garden's ecosystem?? They are an advocate for peaceful resolution but are nearly as loyal as Michael without any of the self awareness and just, don't recognize violence committed by Heaven as real violence. So they see Lilith's threatening air and manipulative tendencies as random and uncalled for.

Just, too well meaning in the harm they cause for Lilith's trust issues to deal with.

Uriel - Was a very close friend to her pre-fall, would spent hours toying with questions and hypotheticals together, there weren't a lot of angels as curious as Uriel was. Turning her feelings of betrayal very personal when it comes to them.

They don't talk much anymore. Uriel distanced themselves from matters of Earth and Hell after the fall. Preferring to keep to the archives and stars. Sorta childhood friends where one out grew the other.

Gabriel - They want to fight her. They are very protective of humanity and she will not be interfering with her she-demonic-ness. Also on a proving themselves pursuit and 1v1ing the queen of hell seems like an effective way to do that. Michael won't let them.

Still bitter about being tricked when they were supposed on guard in Eden. (the six reminding archangels still get into huge blowout fights about who's fault(other than lucifer's) the apple incident was)

Jophiel is going to fucking throttle her brother, the things she could done with Lilith if she hadn't got banished, the potential humanity had. That was her magnum opus. Holy Shit.

In some ways they are very close, she spent nearly as much time with Joph as with Lucifer, she genuinely admires her, in others Joph cant really see past the pieces and creation that make Lilith up and she hates it. They are, very messy.

Zadkiel hates her like God does with none of His nuance as a nemesis. You would never be able to tell by talking to them or watching them interact with her, they are very reserved. Zadkiel is just like that with heretics and also really looked up to Lucifer. They want her dead but since she isn't, trusts Father must have His reasons.

Their true hostility comes out at the weirdest times.

ARCHANGEL TIME BABEEYYYY let's talk about the twins, heaven's hierarchy, and lots of Religious Trauma

OKAY SO. Firstly. For the fic, I've had to alter the way heaven works a little. Seraphim are a race of angels, whereas archangel is title. So while they do refer to each other as "brother" or "sister" when addressing each other, they're not blood related. It's more of a respect/honor thing.

(This excludes the twins obviously lmao)

Speak of which, let's start with them. Lucifer (then known as Samael) and Michael are the two most powerful of the archangels. Lucifer was an angel of creation and light, shining brighter than the rest of his peers. Michael is his opposite; an angel of destruction-- he is heavens greatest solider, climbing the ranks until he was Heaven's Grand General. It's a title he wears with pride.

Aside from the twins, there's also Raphael, Gabriel, Uriel, Jophiel, Zadkiel.

Raphael is Michael's best friend, and has been since they were young. After Lucifer's fall, he became Michael's lifeline and they are very close. Raphael is the Angel of Healing, and one of the angels in his court, Abraham, has had a tinyyyyy little crush on Michael for years.

Gabriel was Lucifer's best friend. When the fall happened, he was devastated, and isolated himself for a while to deal with the grief. He is the Angel of Sacrifice, but he does go into battle with Michael and Raphael when needed.

Jophiel is the Angel of Selflessness. She is sort-of like the older sister of the group, especially to Gabriel. She's been secretly dating Uriel behind closed doors for a while now. One of the angels of her court, Amber, was forced to marry and later have children with Michael shortly after Lucifer's fall. They try to make the best of it.

Zadkiel is the Angel of Death, and he was originally supposed to marry Flora, but they refused and Lady Death wasn't going to force them.

All of the archangels (including Michael) love Lucifer dearly, and they miss him very much. When they hear of Charlie's ambitions with the Hotel, things start to shift, and they use this as an opportunity to get their friend back.

Michael is the only person, excluding Adam and Lute, who knows Lillith is in heaven. He goes to see her every so often.

Luciferian Challenge: Day 8

Do you practice witchcraft why/why not? Is it “Devil” or “Lucifer” (a reference to Light Bringer/Bearer) involved? Why or why not?

I do not! I practice folk magic and a little ceremonial magic, and I’m trying to incorporate some chaos magic theory into it. Also actively working on plant based magical things and a touch of astrology. I do not consider any of these things witchcraft, or consider myself a witch.

If you are someone who considers themselves a witch and does some or all of these things, and by extension counts them as witchcraft, I don’t intend on getting on your case about it. If you’re a LaVeyan Satanist or something similar who insists all witchcraft is psychodramatic catharsis, that is also your business. I just have a specific view of what magic I consider witchcraft, and what that means for a person, and it doesn’t (at this point in time at least) apply to me.  

Will this change? Maybe! Though I like to research folkloric/historic/traditional witchcraft, I don’t really have any timeline or goals beyond what my deities and spirits might have in mind for me. I’m also not actually sure if I’d publicly identify any differently than I do now. If I were a witch, I think I’d be the kind to keep that close to the chest. I deeply respect many people who are far more open about their witchcraft or their use of the label, but I think I’d want to let other people wonder if I’m a witch, rather than ever confirm it.  

As far as Lucifer’s involvement, it’s a solid hand wobble? My practice is still growing, and I do think that my deities… Azazel especially, but Lucifer as well… will play an increasingly active role in it. However, I can’t outline specific examples, as it’s still a work in progress.

Do you work with demons and or angels? What is your opinion of them?

Short answer, no! But they’re fine I guess.

Long answer, sort of? I don’t work with demons in the way most people probably think of it, which is to say, grimoire based demonology as you’d find in the Lesser Key of Solomon or the Grimoire Verum. I’m also not a demonolater, which I know can be popular among theistic Luciferians and Satanists. However, while I don’t work with angels in petitioning them or the like, I did do some Greater Key planetary pentacle magic previously, which for those who might not know involves appealing to the angel in charge of the seal you are using. 

Where it gets complicated is that some of the angels involved are ones like Zadkiel/Sachiel, the angel of Jupiter who seems very approachable regardless of your religious leanings. Then you get angels like Michael, who is a wee bit notorious for his conflicts with demons and the devil, and Raphael, who was responsible for chaining my tentative teacher beneath a mountain. While I have nothing against these angels, nor those that work with them, it would be deeply unwise for me to do so. I also know some people who struggle more and more to incorporate anything Solomonic or Christian in origin into their practices as their relationship with “opposite” spirits or deities progresses, and this is something I’m braced for.  

I do want to look more into Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa’s planetary magic, though the relationship of his works to Kabbalah (which I try to avoid in my practice) is Complicated™ and will take a good deal of research for me to parse. Or I might abandon angel and demon/daemon related planetary magic altogether, and stick to the associations with the plants themselves and their various associations with different days, hours, plants, incense, etc. While there’s never a precise one for one substitute when it comes to magic, spirits especially, I do think there’s alternatives one can explore that are better suited to one’s needs and religious leanings.

Which of your characters is easier to write/or which do you find the most relatable?

Hmm Easiest to write for SaM is probably Michael, Death, Laila, and Zadkiel. Easiest for HiC is Jamie and Aadrian.

I’m assuming you mean who I find most relatable to myself? If so, I’d say Francisco (cuz I share a lot of personality traits with him), Aadrian (he seems to be the most organic “normal” type of person), and Michael. But Ipos is a mood. I’d love to relate to Ipos (he seems more like my friend Mango, who’s v chill and laid back).

Anon asking me to talk abt my ocs (or my interpretation of possibly canon characters as it were) would never ever be a bother. Thank you for asking!

Michael has a stern sort of face, and kind of looks scary all the time if you're not used to it, but he's really not so bad. Kind of short tempered & overly serious maybe, but he's not as mean as his constant vague scowl makes him look. (In fact, he's rather handsome when he smiles)

Uriel as the first archangel created of the current generation (fiat lux, am i right?) has a pretty patient and calm personality. They have a very tranquil presence, and were one of the few angels Lucifer used to turn to for guidance.

Chamuel and Jophiel are in lesbians together, and are very happily partnered! They got together around the same time as Michael and Lucifer, although Chamuel and Jophiel lasted.

Zadkiel is really intense and quiet, only tending to speak in short, succinct sentences. Lots of younger angels tend to go through a phase where they have a crush on Zadkiel bc of this.

Gabriel is one of the busier archangels, but she always makes sure to find time for her host to show them her appreciation for their dedication and hard work. She's not particularly serious in demeanor and often teases Michael for being uptight.

Raphael is first and foremost a healer, but he also has a strong interest in botany and oversees all the crops that are grown in the Celestial Realm. He's kind but awkward, as he's more used to being behind the scenes rather than one on one with others (outside of doctor patient relations)

Chamuel used to be Beel's mentor when he was an angel, and even now she thinks about him often and worries for him down in the devildom. Jophiel meanwhile mostly pities what Asmodeus has become.

So uh—-like I said I would do a draw the squad to introduce more of the characters—but before I do I will add the fact that in this story none and I mean NONE of the angel kids parents are related they come from different families in my story, and with that out of the way- I can start- Blaire and Riley were shown before but not colored so-NOW THEY ARE- Riley’s the daughter of Michael and Leah -my character—- and Blaire is the daughter of Azazel and Lilith- Now for the new characters- The girl with the red hair -rose- is the daughter of Uriel and Raphael, and the boy next to her is Ezekiel, the son of Zadkiel and Jophiel—-more on them later but this is the draw the squad so-yea————

Which Archangel Are You?

Archangels Uriel and Cassiel → Aquarius. (January 20 - February 18) : The sign Aquarious is ruled by the Archangels Uriel and Cassiel, bringing the energies of being idealistic and a humanitarian. Taureans enjoy luxury, beauty and high quality goods and thrive on anything which pleases the senses. Taureans like to be production, and put that energy into power. They must be careful though, as that power must not become ‘control’. Taureans are naturally attuned to nature and are very practical. Their life lesson is to learn ‘patience’. Tarueans have a natural leaning towards stability and security, but they must be careful not to become trapped in the material world.

Archangel Raphael → Gemini. (May 21 - June 20) : The zodiac sign of Gemini is overseen by the Archangel Rapheal.  This gives those born under the sign of Gemini the traits of adaptability and of being very social. Archangel Raphael is one of the principal angels of healing and has the capacity to guide all healers, both orthodox and complimentary. People under the influence of Gemini are often very clever and gifted, and their main tool is their mind. Archangel Gabriel → Cancer. (June 21 - July 22) : Archangel Gabriel works with the color Orange and rules the Moon, the star sign of Cancer, and Monday. Archangel Gabriel is responsible for the West. Those under the sign of Cancer are overseen by Archangel Gabriel, bringing the attributes of sympathy and sensitivity. Cancer tells of the need to balance the emotions on all levels. Those individuals born under the sign of Cancer can be instrumental in helping others, particularly in encouraging the growth and development of their emotional potential. Whenever Raguel is close, it means that you are moving through great healing. A wave of harmony is washing over your life now and you can find harmony and resolution to conflicts both internal and external. If you have had disagreements with those around you, ask yourself what you can do to be more open and honest, and how you yourself can show up with the energy or needs you feel are lacking. This will help you to be received and understood.

Angels are guiding you to stand down from fighting and arguing. Take a step back, call them in and allow them to work their magic. Your heart is calling for a restoration of peace, so it’s important to tune in and really ask how that looks and feels for you. If you’re in a mental battle with what your instincts are telling you to do, know that your instincts aren’t the holiest version of you, for they contain your genetic blueprint and therefore the limiting stories and beliefs of your family lineage. You are here to create a new, more advanced version of that story, one that is whole, healed, and complete. You are in process, but you are in progress!
