design/category notes: (some spoilers, will try to keep them minor)

starting with the categories, saotome, master, and kilka for BAR since they are, admittedly the three characters with the most plot involvement (outside of abyss charas), with their specific plot more centered around the bar (as opposed to the drunken world). they also have varying relationships with alcohol; the drunkard, the bartender, and the reluctant.

STELLA is the additional cast, that while technically have no bearing on the plot, flesh out the experience of the game and are available much sooner than saotome and kilka. leona, jinga, and cas are available for the first world/demo, while maia, baran, and kaji (iirc) are available for the second. of the main eight, i tried to mirror them in their poses or emotions within their sets of three/six, relating to their arc in some way (some more specific than others).

the remaining five characters are... symbolically trapped in ABYSS, if not literally. they, along with one other character, are the ones with Roles, inflicting onto or being inflicted upon (i'm intentionally staying vague but they rattle around in my brain and are why i want a localisation so badly). i very much allude to the roles of the middle 3 abyss characters but i willn't [sic] elaborate.

letter wise, jinga and wanderer are for their poses (crying TT and Y from the horns + dagger [not apparent with end font]), B is for [REDACTED] buzzerman, and snakes (SS) are for habu and dead shaker : ) everyone else just fell into place.
