Rachael followed the shadow with ease. She zipped along to see Alastor in the middle of his meal. Her head tilted slightly. She couldn't even react before Niffty leaped down onto the carcass. There was a horrifying crunch sound.

"Apologies. I didn't know it was snack time." She replied as she went over to try to retrieve Niffty but it was too late.

Niffty's little hands squished around the organs before she hissed. She extended up to jump around Rachael like an angry hell spawn.

She pipes up with the second. "Meat is in bountiful supply if you know where to look, Majesty."

As Niffty put on her little puppet show, Alastor sat in one of the armchairs, watching with utmost attention. The lines and the plots of her plays were always borderline childish, but they also never lacked a dark, sadistic twist that would have disturbed most, even in the lands of Hell.

It fascinated him to no end, and he was honoured to be oh-so-very often chosen as the favoured audience for her displays of creativity.

He rose his microphone in greetings and acknowledgement, as a ruler would do with their scepter, and then settled back in his "throne", so that he could properly address his beseeching audience.

"Fear not, my loyal subjects, for I have the answers to your pleas and the solutions to your woes," he announced, in a theatrically solemn tone. Oh, this was absolutely delightful. "Not only we'll survive the famine, but our kingdom will steadily march towards an era of prosperity!"

He paused, as to let the wondrous promise he had made sink in.

"However, such a great future demands an equally great sacrifice. The blood and life of the few in exchange for the thriving of them many! As your ruler, I'll take upon myself the heavy task of choosing the ones who'll pay the ultimate price for the sake of us all."

With that he stood, stepping closer to the coffee table that was being used as a stage. Once his legs were brushing its edge, he bent down, the hand holding his microphone tucked behind his back.

"There is also another, very special task I must assign. To the one and only individual capable of succeeding at it."

He extended a hand towards the little maid, crimson eyes shining brightly with dark intents.

"Will you accept the role and carry out my bidding, my darling deadliest lady?"

The animes I do write for is Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Death Note, Haikyuu and Record of Ragnarok~! On the topic of the Seven Deadly Sins being color coded, something I think would be cool is the character having those colors to represent their sins.

Angel Dust or Nifty (or probably even both) being blue makes sense. Angel Dust could have dark blues to resemble how despite being a sex worker, he hates it because of Valentino’s abuse. While Nifty could have light blues to showcase that she’s actually extremely boy crazy and lustful (and unlike Angel Dust she has no regrets.)

Valkryie (I refuse to call her the name Vivziepop gave her) and Alastor could be red to resemble how wrathful they can be. Although Alastor could have subtle shades of purple to represent his Pride.

On the topic of purple, Lucifer and Charlie should’ve worn purple. It would make them stand out and it would make sense since their literally the main royalty in the Pride Ring + purple is a regal color in general.

Husk’s wings could be orange to represent his Gluttony. He's a bar tender who uses alcohol as a escape, so he definitely overindulges in it.

But to be fair, this requires thinking and research, which apparently Viv is allergic to.

Apologies if this was pretty long, it’s just disappointing how much wasted potential HH/HB have

the colour theory in Hazbin Hotel and Helluva boss are lacking to say the least.

I think Angel could have red/pink with blue clothes because he was part of a mob (maybe he was a sex worker in his life time? Never confirmed or denied) to show how his sex worker persona is only that, a persona.

Niffty would also look much better is she was blue to be honest. Blue Niffty truther.

And Alastor and V (that’s what I’m calling her now) would make much more sense to red and purple, they both have red in their design (well Alastor is hot pink actually) but close enough to red. But why they don’t have accent colours OTHER than red, white, and yellow baffles me.

I’m assuming Husk went to hell for gluttony so I think him being a calico looking cat would make much more sense thematically.

Lucifer being red is also so fucking funny, WHY RED? WHY? He doesn’t even look good. He could be purple and white, that would make sense. White means purity which would be a nod to his past in heaven and purple means pride. Charlie just being red, white, yellow, and black is also weird. Her and Lucifer being more like a goat would make much more sense to them.

There are so many interesting possibilities in how Vivziepop represented her characters but instead they’re all red? In greed it’s slightly better but she still just makes everything one colour in a ring, it’s not even colour coordinated it’s just inaccessible. Seriously, it’s so hard for me to look at because I’m red green colour blind. Plus Vivziepop went to art school. She should know this.

Y'know what, continuing with my potentially controversial takes, how about I finally talk about my take on Alastor and Husk's dynamic? Because I think People are exclusively looking at how Alastor reacted to Husk reminding him he's on a leash without looking at the context. And yes, you can call me delusional, in denial, whatever. But there's more context than just "Husk reminded Alastor he was on a leash and Alastor threatened him over it" that I don't see people acknowledge???

So first of all let's talk about the full context of Hazbin Hotel in regards to Alastor and Husk's relationship, not just that scene in the hallway with Husk and Alastor.

Alastor won Husk's soul in a bet, which Husk made to keep his power. Whether or not Husk still has this power is yet to be seen.

Husk doesn't hate Alastor, not as much as he acts like he does. He warns Alastor that Mimzy is using him (something I don't think he'd do unless he cared about him), still bothers to hug him when the crew finds out Alastor's fine(?) at the end of episode 8, even overall it feels like Husk has an annoyed family dynamic with Alastor and Niffty.

Alastor seems to give both Niffty and Husk a lot of freedom if they aren't doing anything for him (hell, he even gives them a fair amount of freedom if they are doing something for him). Husk isn't confined to the hotel, and he was literally at a casino gambling before Alastor summoned him to the hotel. Granted, this could've been because Husk didn't know Alastor was back, but I think if the comparisons between Alastor's treatment of Husk and Val's treatment of Angel were more accurate, Alastor wouldn't give Husk and Niffty the amount of freedom they have. Angel's freedoms come from a loophole in his contract, while Alastor doesn't seem to care what Husk and Niffty do in their spare time. Husk and Niffty feel like they're treated more like contract employees most of the time. Additionally Angel's restricted freedom is part of his abuse and something he's still not entirely away from, because Val could probably still figure out a way to get him back to V Tower 24/7 (and I'm willing to bet he will in season 2, since the Vees are going to be the main antagonists of season 2).

It's made abundantly clear throughout the first 8 episodes and the pilot that Alastor says shit to get under people's skin. Anything he says that irritates someone could go either way; he could mean it genuinely or he could be saying it to get under the skin of whoever he's talking to. I'm going to say whether Alastor meant it when he said he viewed Husk as a pet; I am going to say that it's absolutely possible that Alastor's incapable of viewing Husk as anything else, but I think it's unfair to judge Alastor's treatment of Husk on that.

Husk, in my opinion, very obviously wasn't expecting Alastor to react how he did when he reminded Alastor he's on a leash, which indicates to me that it's either incredibly rare for Alastor to lash out like that or he's never done it before, at least not specifically at Husk. Obviously, Husk knows what Alastor's capable of, because he's seen him fight Mimzy's battles for her and he's probably heard about Alastor's past. But how he responds to Alastor lashing out at him makes it feel like Alastor's never lashed out at Husk specifically. Additionally he might not have even been referring to Alastor's deal, he could've been referring to literally anything. Additionally, Alastor was already stressed as hell, he probably lashed out on impulse. Husk was also probably saying things on impulse, and crossed a boundary in doing so. I'm not saying any of that excuses Alastor's behavior, but I am saying it explains things a hell of a lot more than "Alastor actively abuses Husk on a regular basis" (in my opinion)

I don't think Husk's situation is as bad as Angel's, because if you look at it outside of that scene in the hallway in Dad Beat Dad (and even within that), it's not. Val took away a significant part of Angel's freedom, while Alastor allows Husk as much freedom as he wants. The differences in the severity of their situations something people have been pointing out since Masquerade, and by extension Loser, Baby, came out, and I still think it's worth pointing out, just not in the context of Loser, Baby because the context of Loser, Baby is Husk trying to help Angel not feel as alone (because it's basically Husk saying "You got issues? So do I, join the Losers Club!") and using similar situations (someone else owning their souls) to get his point across. I'm not saying Husk isn't traumatized by his situation; he probably is, especially after Dad Beat Dad. But Angel and Husk are in vastly different situations and have vastly different dynamics with Val and Alastor respectively.

To clarify, it might come out in later seasons and episodes that Alastor does treat Husk worse than what we've seen. But so far, what we've seen is that Husk gets a significant amount of freedom considering he doesn't own his soul, and under enough stress Alastor gets impulsive (whether or not he regrets this impulsivity is yet to be seen, but considering how he likes to be seen, I wouldn't be surprised if he does for purely selfish reasons). Husk cares enough about Alastor to warn him about a toxic and potentially dangerous friendship, and is shown to be happy when he turns Mimzy away (although this could also be just because he hates Mimzy). Even after being happy that Alastor might be dead, Husk hugs him anyway.

Unless something comes out that contradicts all this, I seriously doubt Alastor is regularly threatening Husk with tearing his soul apart like people think. Husk's reaction makes it feel like his soul being threatened is new. Like as of right now I think the worst that's going on is Alastor pushing boundaries (something he does with everyone, not just Husk, and to a fairly mild extent compared to other characters) and having Husk and Niffty work for him.

Again, I'm not saying nothing will come out in the future saying he's not abusive, but right now, when you look at all the context, he's not. Husk impulsively pushed a boundary and Alastor impulsively lashed out in retaliation.

Back when a friend and I adored Hazbin and Helluva, we created a little sort of re-imagine/universe inspired by the shows and world, but ever since the show came out, we've been trying to think of some criticisms that came towards the show that could apply to ours, so we changed some things.

I've been trying to think of our main Sinner cast (which were, of course, inspired by Alastor, Angel, V(aggie), Sir Pentious, etc. Tho we don't have a Niffty as far as I recall.)

I admit that I personally struggle with favoring the male characters over the female characters, but we definitely have some important female figures (the Princess, a sibling of hers, the Princess's child, etc.)

I'd like to one day make a side blog or something for me and my friend's universe, but I have no idea where to start tbh. Especially since we are always changing the lore and stuff, especially post-S1 Hazbin.

Don't let your dreams be dreams -- make that blog! If the lore changes, you can always update it accordingly, and it'll be fine because you're not a showrunner making changes mid-series.

He hadn’t visited Brimstone Park in quite some time, but Niffty had been begging to go to her favorite ice cream parlour, and so the radio demon found himself dragged to the little striped canopy shop, and his jitterbug was getting more apple slime ball flavored melted cream on her apron than in her mouth.

It was his eager, ice cream sticky ladybug that had found herself at the picture box’s feet at first, blinking up at him. “Whoa, it’s Vox! I haven’t seen you in a lot of years.” Not since he and Al had their brutal falling out. “…You look half dead.”

Figuratively speaking anyway. Alastor had stiffened rigid at the realization, ears bending back with the turmoil of feelings he always felt rise when he saw his former friend. A turmoil of feelings he tried to convince himself was nothing but hatred. It never really worked.

He was content to grab the girl by her bandana and make his way back to the hotel, but he really got a good look at him. The girl was right. Well, he couldn’t very well leave him there could he? No, too much mocking to get in.

“Well well, someone’s wires on the fritz, hm Sparky? Did we come down with a computer virus?”

Saying that Vox was having a shitty day would have been the understatement of the decade, at least. Hell was supposed to deliver an eternity of pain and misery for all sinners, but he had been handling it pretty well, all considered. He had built a reputation, an empire, power, more money than he could ever use. He liked his life, most days. Sure, it wasn't all a bad of roses, not with all the fires he had to put out and with all the work he had, but it was good.

Until it wasn't and spat him out after having chewed him to the point that he was left feeling like he had been run over by the heaviest truck over twenty times.

Was he being a little too dramatic? Maybe, but that was an accurate description of his current state, so fucking sue him.

Besides, the moment Niffty walked up to him and he realised whose big eyes was staring up at him, he felt like he had earned every right to be dramatic. He had left the V Tower to have some peace and quiet, away from Valentino's constant moaning and Velvette's too sharp jabs, but of course he had run into the last person he wanted to see. Alastor.

Fuck my life.

"We're all dead, in case you forgot," he grumbled at the maid, glaring at her as an excuse not to look up at her companion. "And yeah, no shit. And honestly? If the only reason why you came to talk to me after that long is to tell me that I look like crap? Fuck you."

Maybe that would be the end of it. She would laugh at him and trot away, and Alastor would follow. He would seeth for a few minutes, pretending that the burden in his stomach he always felt whenever he and his former friend crossed paths wasn't making him even sicker than he already was, and then he would go back to his pity party.

That would have been the best case scenario, the one he was hoping for. But apparently the universe wasn't done fucking with him for the day and, for some incomprehensible reason, the Radio Demon decided to stay and mock him.

Fury burnt hot inside Vox's chest, hiding much more vulnerable emotion, and for a moment he forgot his extremely poor physical state and had the terrible idea of jumping on his feet.

"Aren't you hilarious? You don't even know what that means, you outdated back of rusty c-...!"

His angry rant was abruptly cut off as the world all around him started to spin rapidly. A series of warning messages flashed over his screen, too quick to be put into focus, and the Overlord collapsed back on the bench, barely managing to grab the edge of the seatback to steady himself.

Oh fuck, he was so going to throw up if the ground hadn't stopped shaking.

hazbin hotel is polluting my mind so if I were the editor's intern: reco

• either stretch the season into 16 episodes or cut the plotlines in half;

• definitaly cut Alastor's screen time in half (if not more)

• make up your mind how much of the pilot is canon (especially regarding Lucifer)

• episode 1 is good as is, a soft reboot from the pilot without getting in too much detail and I love hating Adam, "Hell is Forever" is banger (i hope the music writers were properly paid and Disney learns why AI is a bad idea!)

• episode 2 is a problem, because Sir Pentious presence is only because of the V's, make that episode 2/2;

• ep 1/2 - Charlie and Vaggie leave the hotel to recruit; Sir Pentious attacks, all on schedule

• Charlie or Vaggie save some of the eggs from being crushed; when the "battle" is over, Pentious is cautiosly agrees to entertain their hospitalty; angel is untrusting;

• "Starts with Sorry"

• leave the Vs as unseen foes, and Alastor's only appearance is his shadow at the end of the episode (Overlords are mysterious unseen threat)

• episode 2/2 - Vs are anxious that Alastor is with the princess;

• see, the first couple of episodes make sense, but they take away from the girls and the hotel

• but "Stayed Gone" is sooo good! maybe use at a later date?

• "Stayed Gone" is a fun song, BUT it doesn't make sense for Alastor, mysterious serial killer, to have childish rivalries; why didn't he kill Vox back when he rejected him and Vox got 'pissy'?

• either make Vox less pathetic or less there;

• soooo, episode 3/1 is would be trust exercises

• i actually liked Angel's plan with BDSM, he's not wrong and I wished he had the chance to be an adult that LIKES sex separate from the victim that uses overtsexuality as a defence mechanism

• each character could have their own moment to show what trust means to them; trust comes in different shades;

• I can't help but think how much of these decision are also based on Voice Actor salaries; because Keith David (Husk) gotta be expensive and for a character that is literaly always presented he almost never talks; and just, ALL of them being expensive and ~ahahah better make fewer episodes if you want big names in your projects~

• ughhhh that's when you know a series has issues, when trying to fix you run into a thousand more problems;

• i would respect how much they put into 8 episodes, ONLY IF it's true they didn't know they would get season 2. Because in that case a bunch of these plot lines needed to be dropped, I don't care how fanfavorite the character is;

• the Vs serve no purpose what so ever, you can easily have Valentino as a lone villain (also less confusion about hells social rules about SA and abuse);

• Lucifer should've been the last big name to enter screen; work up to the trial with Heaven for S2E01 (why even a trial)

• just how PLOT heavy is this series that Viv needed Lilith's bomb to drop in season 1? which is a major inconsistancy for a series based on the theme of redemption, a CHARACTER heavy theme;

• as it is, i don't see how Sir Pentious being redeemed is a good thing, because he died before entering Heaven, so other souls need to die too and hope it's not forever? wouldn't that fuel Exterminators cause to kill in name of 'clensing'? (holy shit, the more I write the worse it gets)

• IS there an primordial EVIL to scare the angels so badly?

• omg I hope they won't try to bring actual GOD into the series; I know there is concept art floating around, but please, do not;

• Supernatural barely got away with it in Season 5 because it was a funny 'what if' and made it got bad in Season 10 (?) Main Hazbin Cast Redesigns.

The Sinners are more human looking due to my rewrite of the story. (Sinners are more humanoid and human looking, while hell born people are more natural creature/demon looking)

Also instead of hell Charlie's project is stationed in Purgatory which allows for sinners to go through the process of redeeming themselves. More redesigns are probably coming lol. Here's some info on them

Husk - a sinner who takes inspiration from a Manticore. I think I will still keep that he made some type of deal with "Alastor" (thinking of just naming him Alastair instead lol)

Niffty - A worker who serves under Alastair. Pretty much kept her the same but gave her a dress more fitting towards her job and the era she died in.

Alastair - he also has an outfit more fitting towards the era he died in. He is just generally old school. He is an elk instead of a deer because I like the size difference. A bit sassy and a smart ass but overall up for the challenge of the project.

Charlie - Daughter of Lucifer. Pretty much the same but more animalistic in looks. (I had forgotten her original motifs. She is similar to an oc I have in terms of inspiration.) Instead of an apple, there is a lemon because they usually represent/symbolize "longevity, purification, love, and friendship and other times it is seen to be symbolic of bitterness and disappointment." kind hearted and tries to see the best in people.

Her name is temporarily V for now, but I was thinking maybe Veronica. - Charlie's gf, and also helps manage the operation. Known as a "sinner" but is mostly a mystery. Has a bit of an attitude, but tries to be rational. I tried to look for outfits more fitting of "her era" but took inspiration from a moth dress I saw.

"Angel" or Antonio. - Sex Worker. First one to take a chance on Charlie's offer. Well known in hell. Wants a chance to redeem himself and get away from certain people and influences he's been stuck/had problems with.

Things to say about my Hazbin rewrite!

Everyone's names are different, obvs. The only one who's probably keeping their name is Nifty/Niffty. Maybe the Vees will still be the Vees, but they aren't keeping their Viv-given-names. Same with ships! All ships are wiped clean and replaced with new ones of my choosing <3

Speaking of which, the Vees are the main/season 1 antags! I'm trying to get an AO3 account created so I can write this, but let's just say that while they aren't majorly villains, they're certainly antagonistic to "Charlie" and the rest of the hotel

This is "Charlie"! Her new name is Arabella though. I was really tempted to make her name Belladonna and give her a more flower-like appearance (petal skirt, horns stick straight up like thorns, spikes all over arms, back and legs to also symbolize thorns, more muted red). Also, she's no longer Lucifer's daughter. She's Satan's (Wrath), which is why she has more red in her color scheme. The uniform is supposed to be of heavenly colors, hence a pale grey shirt and baby blue vest.

I honestly feel like she's more of Charlie and... V, mixed together than she is just Charlie.

Alastor is used VERY sparingly (Because I want him to give off genuine mysterious vibes. Kind of like Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls, used rarely, but when used, takes the stage (/neg OR /pos, up to interpretation)

Angel stole his brothers name, he is now Arackniss. Also, I got rid of him being a sex worker and all that. Instead of his soul being owned by V3 ("Valentino"), it's owned by his dad.

Sinners come from ALL the rings of hell, not just pride.

This part isn't canon but I'm not sure "Vox" is going to be the tech demon anymore. I just feel like it's too vague and gives him too much power??? Maybe just the T.V demon for him

Also, I'm getting rid of almost ALL the characters having animal motifs.

I'm taking some/most of the background characters and making them residents at the hotel

Also, the rewrite is going to be MUCH more hotel-centric

Heaven is a much later antagonist for Arabella/the Hotel. And it isn't Adam who leads the exterminations.
