hey hey wait wait wait. hey. wait
ranboo saying the social experiments might not be over. the tweet about ranboo being excited for the evening. the founder saying our patience will be rewarded for making it to the end. the footage being cut and swapped
what if the founder didn't want the die ending. what if the founder changes it to the live ending

People who like super seriously neg post about genloss are so funny to me. Like this is the project of like a 19 year old streamer with no previous acting experience full of other people with no acting experience, that is literaly like 90% live improv, and ppl on here will watch it and then be like "wow the lighting is like so amateur and some of the props are not realistic and their acting is bad" like sorry did you expect a movie?? Your suspension of disbelief is so low, do you watch an ameteur production theater play and think "everyone in this theater needs to watch better plays" when they clap?
Of course we can see that there are some bad acting moments, that there are some moments that miss, that it may be too brightly lit or could use some more creative lighting in some places, and that the vibe isn't quite it in some parts, but you can say that and be so normal about it, like uhh, me right now. But it's still a HUGE achievement, and shows you can push the quality of content on twitch, I think you forget. Yeah. This is a fucking twitch show. It's not one of the mainstream movies or shows or books you recommend, and it's stupid to compare some like 19-20 year old streamers passion project on fucking twitch to literal horror classics.
"dsmp fan syndrome" have you concidered we just like fun. If you didn't like generation loss you shouldn't have watched it. "sorry you were lied to" no. Ranboo, Charlie and everyone who hyped the show up were right. This show may not be the best work, and one day it might not even be ranboos best work, because its just the brginning of something awesome, live high quality productions on twitch are going to get insane, Jerma has already set the bar very high with dollhouse, and I think Ranboo is doing a great job.

[id: drawing of Beepis, Rolf and Slarf (sneeg's, ranboo's and charlie's wolf sonas from the last stream) sleeping in a pile. end id]
theyre so fucking wolf
wolf lore wolf lore wolf lore
Tumblr media
[id: reference doodles of the same wolves. all of their names are written under the drawings of them and the wolf species is written above. beepis is a baffin island wolf with light fur and blue eyes. rolf is a wolfdog with brown fur and yellow eyes, he also has a floppy ear. slarf is a vancover island wolf with very dark fur, green eyes and a few scars on his muzzle. it also says "the wolf polycule" on the top. end id]
baffin island wolves hang out near the arctic so beepis is used to more *extrime* ways of living and cuz of that is slightly better than the other two at being a wolf, at least at the start (justifying sneeg being better cuz of being the host and playing the game previously). he looks like the biggest wolf but actually is very similar to slarf in size, he just has a very thick coat
rolf is a wolfdog! his former owner didnt know about that when they got him untill rolf grew up to be weirdly big and less dog-like. later when he realized that hes partially a wolf they escaped. which wasnt hard cuz their owner didnt even care much.....
because of being partially a dog rolf is a little smaller and a little more sillay than the other two! theyre still very big for a dog tho
slarf used to be kept in captivity in terrible conditions for some time, which he assumed to be experiments on him (was actually a fur farm or smth). he got his muzzle scars while in there, partially while escaping! he also hurt his eye a little

ok so im gonna be real i have mixed opinions on the founders cut... I THINK IT WAS GOOD! TO BE CLEAR. but i did have someee problems with it. i think the og is better and here's why
Tumblr media
^ this shot is fucking fantastic btw i gasped so fucking loud.
i think the editing in certain moments kind of ruined their original impact. for example, turning the scene where ranboo is digging through charlie's insides into a montage, where the iconic moment of sudden horrific screaming is just one of those many quick scenes in that montage, reallyyyy removed a lot of the impact it originally had.
before you were lured into a false sense of security with the extended comedy of ranboo and charlie going back and forth and then out of NOWHERE the slime turns to blood and charlie's screaming and it's horrifying. but with it being a montage, it goes by so quickly and there's way less emphasis placed on the sudden change. idk i was just really disappointed with how that scene went down in the founders cut personally
there's also an opposite problem with a few scenes imo where they made stuff MORE emphasized and it kinda ruined the impact that way. specifically the scene where ranboo's button gets pressed while he's going through the doorway. i think that scene works wayyyyy better where it gets pressed, ranboo shuts down, and then is reset. adding the glitching and the big "FACTORY RESET" text on screen just feels really unnecessary, like just totally spelling it out rather than the horrific subtlety of the original. idk maybe that's just me
in general i think having to cut stuff down does alter the vibe a lot, i think a lot of what makes genloss genloss IS the live format. and obviously if ur making a cut down version then no matter what you're gonna lose some of that vibe. buttttt that does contribute to my feeling that the founders cut is inferior to the original vods
another thing is. i reallyyyyy dont like the new hetch lines in the final scene SORRY. he sounds so over the top evil and it really ruined the scene for me. him sounding much more like Some Guy in the original made it all the more scarier and REAL seeming in my opinion. thats what makes that scene so horrifying is how REAL it feels! in this version everything hetch said just sounded cartoonish and corny. sorry.
now WITH ALL THAT BEING SAID. there was plenty of stuff i really liked!!!!!!! i thought the animations with squiggles were FANTASTIC, all the new camera angles, the cuts between charlie's stream and the episode were really well done, the baby ranboo pictures.... i think there was a lot of stuff that was improved. im not saying i dislike the founders cut. and im glad it exists!! not everyone is willing to sit through the full thing
basically what i'll say is that the founders cut is perfect for someone who isn't willing to watch the vods in full, and im glad that it exists for the new content it provided, but i think that the best viewing experience for genloss the social experiments IS the original full vods. even with all of its dead air and drawn out bits and everything, i think it's the superior version. but idk that's just my opinion lol
also the third episode barely needed to be edited because it is already perfect <3

I realized something about Generation Loss that made me love it even more. Someone else has undoubtedly already thought of something like this but I’ve seen no other posts about it so I’m just gonna imagine that I’m clever okay here we go✨
During the finale when Ranboo was tied up to his crucifix, Hetch told him that when the mask had been off during the events leading up to that point, Ranboo had been fully in control of himself. Ranboo protested, saying it had been Showfall making the fatal decisions, that he was being controlled by them and had no choice. It was true that Ranboo, even while in control when the mask was off, didn’t realize exactly what was happening. It’s not like those moments of lucidity were ever long enough for them to figure out how to change anything. But they were still moments of lucidity. Tiny scraps of free will that Ranboo was given. And the choices made in those moments didn’t save anyone, but who knows? Maybe they could have, if Ranboo had played his cards differently. Ranboo argued that he didn’t have a choice, that there was nothing else that could have been done; he was horrified by the blood on his hands but denied that he could have changed the outcomes.
The day after the finale, CC!Ranboo told us on stream that there had indeed been an ending planned for if the majority had voted live, and they told us what it was, debunking the theories that the ending was always going to be death no matter what. They confirmed that the votes hadn’t been rigged, that the outcome was 100% true to viewer votes. After all, their goal, the very experiment that gave this Generation its name, was to see if we as a collective would actually vote to kill somebody. And just as they’d been hoping, we did. If you really want to see whether the majority would vote for death, you wouldn’t rig the vote because you’d never get your answer. That final vote was a test of our human psychology; we were the subjects of the social experiment. And yet there were still posts being made weeks later about how the ending was predetermined, about how our votes never really mattered, about how no matter what we did that box would have closed on his head.
At the core of this whole experiment, CC!Ranboo did to us exactly what Showfall did to GL!Ranboo. They gave us just enough free will that we were able to argue that we never had any at all.

HELLO I AM SORRY TO COME SLITHER INTO UR ASKS LIKE THIS BUT I SAW U LIKE AD ASTRA (YK THE SCI FI BOOK) AND I HAVE BEEN GOING FERAL OVER IT SO PLEASE DO TALK ABT UR FAV THEMES IN IT
(if u like ofc no pressure <3)
Never apologize for asking me about AdAstra or event horizon in general. I will go feral about it all day every day any day of the week month or year I have playlists I have theories I have spinoff ideas I HAVE EVERYTHING YOU CAN HAVE WITHOUT BEING INVOLVED WITH THE CREATION OF SOMETHING OKAY
Favorite themes I mean you do spend a lot of time with Ranboo and his concerning amounts of generational trauma and depression however I am a very biased Tubbo content enjoyer so just all of Tubbo's themes from the self hatred to the guilt to the trauma and everything in between
But my all time favorite is probably the way that Ranboo sees Tubbo throughout De Terra, even though originally I didn't even notice and it was my friend who pointed it out.
Because it takes chapter 3 for Ranboo to ever even acknowledge that Tubbo can act like an ass, but even after that and ESPECIALLY in chapters 1 and 2 he just holds Tubbo on this imaginary pedestal where Tubbo can basically do no wrong like he's fucking Beatrice from Dante's Divine Comedy (I've come to really like that comparison actually). An it's so interesting for me to think about WHY Ranboo thinks like that
From Tubbo's pov, especially because we see it first, we know he's a fuck up. That he tries his best, but he's not perfect, because nobody is, duh. But Ranboo thinks he is, despite having firsthand experience of the opposite (Tubbo screaming at him after finding the Irillian codex). He is basically incapable of constructive criticism towards Tubbo and again it takes chapter 3 of De Terra for him to even consider it.
And for the explanation I'm thinking of, which again I had no part in any of the creation of the fic so it's just me having fun by speculating and anything I say should be taken that way, I'm gonna keep the comparisons to the Divine Comedy because I can and I'm unhinged. Because Ranboo has basically gone through hell (Voidfall) and when he joins the Syndicate, he subconsciously expects to now go through heaven with Beatrice (Tubbo). Except that doesn't happen and he's still fucked up because duh that's how healing works. But he's scared because it's not getting better, which we see directly on screen. And yet he's still holding onto this idea of normalcy and perfection and the person who embodies that for him is Tubbo, because he's the one who took Ranboo away from the traumatizing shitfest that was Voidfall. So Ranboo then tries to keep his own problems from Tubbo and either doesn't realize or doesn't think about the fact he can't fucking do that forever when they literally live and work together and yeah I could go on for so long -.-

Random little thing about the c!dsmp, from the perspective of a writer!
(Please note: THIS IS ABOUT THE MEDIA/ROLEPLAY! I do not support any problematic content creator involved. I am treating all individuals named in this post as their respective characters.)
I know the dsmp is over and it lives on through fandom content. But one thing that kinda irks me a little is the people who say "c!Ranboo is the protagonist" and leave it at that, and keep it that simple--well, they interest me more than anything else.
Listen. Maybe he was meant to be the protagonist. Maybe he wasn't. But one thing I do know is that one thing that made the dsmp unique is that there really wasn't any main character. Sure, there were some characters that were more side characters than others, and some characters who were the main players, but ultimately there really wasn't any main character in the lore to begin with! Everything just happened by itself and I can even suffice to say that, if there was an mc, it may have changed from arc to arc. It can all be based on interpretation, honestly. That said, if there WAS a singular mc throughout every single arc, it wasn't Ranboo. Yes, while a lot of main character jokes were made and he had a lot of close encounters with c!Dream, but from an outside narrative perspective it definitely isn't him. He wasn't even present in the smp for the first few arcs! If it's anyone, it's c!Tommy. c!Tommy is LITERALLY the character that started it all and was the person who turned the dsmp from "funny random server that we made during quarantine because we're bored" to " lore filled epic of massive proportions". Everything started when HE joined, and most of the arcs happen because of him. "But Iri, isn't it the same/ similar with c!Dream?" That's different, actually--c!Dream gives c!Tommy an obstacle. He antagonizes him and bounces off of him and consequently the rest of the server. No matter what arc it is, c!Tommy is almost always in the middle of it all. He's always caught in the crossfire and strongly related to the current arc. While other characters may be focused on for certain arcs and get more of the spotlight sometimes, it all ultimately circles back to him. As a writer, THAT'S what a main character looks like to me.
C!Tommy was pretty clearly the main character, if there was any at all. As much as I love c!Ranboo, he really doesn't qualify to me! As for c!Tommy's actions, Tommy isn't a hero but he isn't quite a villain either. Every character in the dsmp is very grey (phenomenally so). But Tommy is at the center of the plot. And the way he IS, his personality, and his arc, fundamentally reflects the nature of the dsmp as a whole, how his chaotic innocence turned into bleak cynicism with extremely careful optimism. He's affected by almost every major arc in the plot, and experiences the brunt of the conflict across the server. He was the one who initially owned the disc's. He's directly related to the man who blew up l'manburg, the blood god himself, and a personal enemy of the literal god of the server who is chasing him for his disc's--his disc's literally started a whole war. He IS the reason that the server is the way it is.
That said, the perception of who the protagonist is could differ depending on the viewer. Specifically, I'm talking about the exact medium of the dsmp. It's via roleplay in live twitch streams--as such, depending on how you first experienced any given event, and from what perspective you quite literally watched it through (i.e., Ranboo's streams, Tommy's streams, Punz' streams), you might view the dsmp very differently and understand the plot and its innerworkings with various nuances. I personally bounced between content creators and gave a lot of different ones the time of day, and watched a lot of clips, so I have somewhat of a detached view of it-- however, it can easily differ to other people.
I'd absolutely love to hear you guys' interpretation on who may have been the protagonist, who could've been the antagonist, who were the main characters, who were heroes, and who were villains, and more. In fact, I'd love to hear your opinions in the replies. That being said, this is all my two cents from a narrative perspective.
Okay, I'm done.

also for the people who have not engaged in my roleplay blog i'll tell you about my cranboo origin headcanon.
ranboo starts off as a completely normal enderman. he isn't special in any way. because of this, cdream decides hes the perfect candidate for his next way at trying to gain power over the server: dreamons.
i never explicitly say how he gets the dreamon dna, but after kidnapping ranboo, he slowly starts injecting dreamon dna into ranboo and testing the results in an underground lab far away (not the same one cranboo makes in the stronghold).
i personally envision dreamons looking a lot like the amalgams in undertale and it also kind of connects that stupidass blob to server canon. they can shift and morph into anyone which fits into the actual canon dreamon hunters, and so it's easy for the dreamon half of ranboo to mimic an enderman, though it remains the ghostly white. it removes some of ranboos enderman traits such as teleporting- i imagine by shutting off their body's ability to make pearls- and warps a few other traits, like silk touch applying to a lot more than just grass and glass. (because there's not much at all in the actual dreamon lore i can kind of do whatever i want and so i will.)
this is when the enderwalk forms: a version of ranboo who remembers everything that happened to them and whos job is to protect them from dream using any means necessary, even doing things they really don't want to do. it's all about survival. (this is why the enderwalk has such a connection to dream and why he later does things for him that cranboo would never do.)
he gets around halfway through before ranboo breaks out, and makes a beeline for the main server with dream chasing after him. this is where we get to ranboos day 1 stream. in the beginning of the stream, ranboo spawns in and has no memory of anything before the server, and thus does not remember dream. because dream is hunting ranboo to kill his failed project, this explains why dream immediately takes out two of his canon lives right at the start of the server.
in the stream though, ranboo makes it to the holy land, and dream can't kill him. he meets niki and a bunch of other server members, and has cemented his place in the server. so instead, dream decides to see if maybe his little experiment actually has some use, and as a pure survival tactic, the enderwalk helps dream, even if he really really doesn't want to.
what i really like about this is it makes ranboo ordinary, and i think that makes it all the more impactful. i like trying to think of a reason that the enderwalk helps dream despite clearly wanting to protect the people he cares about, and so i think having him act as a morally dubious protector makes a lot of sense. i also think it explains dream immediately taking two of ranboos lives in the first stream and why they have to run for their life right off the bat. also it contributes to the weird experimentation thing cdream has later on. who's to say he hasn't done this before?

everyone always insists ranboo is the "hero." Showfall dubs them the hero so the audience is okay with it. A hero is supposed to have trials, right?
What if this version of ranboo is actually like... a bad person and Showfall basically put them in purgatory to make up for it? Showfall insists he responded "naturally." Screw some kind of major happy time filter, it just allowed ranboo to behave as per usual not thinking anything more for it
Now we're cooking with gas! excellent question and theory Both of these points are actually incredible examples of audience manipulation that is written into genloss. This is the general idea that showfall doesn't nessesarily have to convince us that what we're seeing is what's really happening, just so long as the characters believe it's real and the surrounding supports it. To the first point, The Hero feels more like a title of mockery. Ranboo gets puppeteered, strung along, and actively has a hand in several of the shows deaths because showfall prompted him to. Ranboo tears into charlie Ranboo points ethan to the wrong door He shoves austin into harms way He abandons sneeg to the sharkicklester etc etc etc. Through the show, ranboo portrays more like a survivor who proves that when his back is to the wall, he will choose to save himself instead of others. but that he does so with tremendous guilt. this is another reason why the end was so poignant, because he believes he killed these people. As soon as escape clearly wasn't an option he preferred not to live then continue on if the sacrifice wasn't worth it. As for ranboo 'acting natural', this would actually be part of The Filter. The filter doesn't just make things look different, it's the live censoring of information that not only we experience but the cast themselves. The filter is why they can't see past the fourth wall, it's the reason why ranboo can get driven around by us instead of solving puzzles the way you typically would, it changes the perception of how they view the world around them. one way to think of it is like in a dream when weird things happen but you just don't question it? kind of the same idea. it keeps the cast in line and the show running smoothly without having a huge chunk of the plot being dedicated to "how did I end up in a warehouse, why does this door travel to hell, why do my eyes hurt if I look at the fourth wall" This kind of audience manipulation is what I mean when I say if the characters act normal then the audience perceives it as normal. if you're interested in more stuff like that, I made a bunch of other theories like cutscene theory that go against that grain of what showfall shows us so check them out if you're interested :) Remember that we have no reliable narrators, any information we see is being curated, and that they WILL lie to you!

Generation Loss thoughts/theories
Okay I had to return from the dead to post about Generation Loss because decoding the Founder’s letter is something I am still proud of (it took me about 4? hours) and it got Genloss to grab me with its claws to pull me right back in! I’ve been a big webseries and ARG fan since like 2009 so I’m happy there is still some awesome content being made to this day.
First of all, Ranboo, the founders game website is phenomenal, absolutely sick work, I’m thoroughly excited and terrified to see what is next!
Second of all I rewatched and re-read pretty much everything of Genloss since the start and I’ve got thoughts I want to spill in one place to have them all together, so here goes (thanks for reading if you do!) I will try to keep it chronological:
In “T_1”, the very first video, we are introduced vaguely to a world where history may have been tampered with through generation loss which appears to be some sort of psychology/principle/scientific method probably founded by the Founder, which is taught and used to alter or censor certain events, effectively changing the world with it
With what we know so far I believe this generation loss movement isn’t just the editing and reproducing of versions of media to the point where they’re deformed or altered, but they can actually alter the things people see like our Hero and the other people did within the Social Experiments, to the point where even extreme things like gore can be censored (Charlie on the operating table for example), people can be “brainwashed” or “hijacked” in a way, we also see a brain shape in one of the images with the Genloss logo near it
In opposition to the Genloss party, we have Red Text Person, who seems to be against the whole principle and wants to kill the Founder of this movement
The inauguration in T_2 is either for us the viewer to see how readily available we are to killing other humans through choices on a screen, or it was a procedure that the folks in the Social Experiments went through to become “worthy“ and thus ready for the show
In “Connecting…” we hear that they are looking for individuals and to call if we spot them
In “Connected” we hear about Showfall media for the first time and how they have a missing person’s hotline
In “Connected” we also see a tunnel which I believe to be the use of transportation to either other universes (“One to another”, “one of many”, “look into infinity”) aka generations or simple time travel to other generations
In “Connected” we also have another influence of Red Text Person trying to warn us that we shouldn’t watch the show
In “Announcement” we learn that the missing individuals are all caught by “It”, “everyone but me” according to Red Text Person
Red Text Person at this point seems unsure where their signal is ending up, which is with us
The Social Experiments air live, where I thought Hetch was Red Text Person, but they turned out to not be on our side, having been given a role by the Founder (however voluntarily that may have been)
Ranboo aka the Hero and the others were the “missing individuals” mentioned in the earlier videos, ending up being caught as they are needed for the experiments, perhaps because they were a threat to the founder, rebels against the Genloss movement, or simply cannon fodder to test out what is possible with “infinity” as the Founder says
In “A Message From The Founder” the Founder announces he is creating the Founder’s cut, a “perfect” version of the story
In the meantime we are introduced to Zero’s journal snippets which start surfacing on twitter, however they were written somewhere in the 1900s, despite this we somehow affect her world/time through polls, where we end up blasting happy birthday through her radio
Zero started keeping this diary as result of a treatment / therapy she started due to something that happened 8 months prior, in addition she starts tracking the wild dreams she has as per suggestion of her friend “Jay” who is into the supernatural
Her dreams consist of a field with red sky, an unnatural cave/chasm, a sky rippling like water and crashing into her, a hospital turning into a hallway with a creature chasing her and eventually seeing herself with a wreck against a tree in the same field as before, the tree has a certain symbol etched into it, presumably the Genloss symbol
The wreck could imply the incident that occurred 8 months prior
Zero notes how she hates the uncertain future and how she wishes she could just control everything
Zero works for a store fixing VCRs and helping customers among other things
All shown entries are implied to be written between July 30th - Aigist 15th 19XX (probably late 1900s due to radios and VCRs being a thing)
In “Coming_Soon” another tease of the Founder’s Cut happens, yet notably the Founder mentions that what we are about to see actually happened live, but “just not here”, implying the possibility of a multiverse rather than the time travel situation
In “Again” the Founder clarifies that they made the Founder’s cut by replaying the Social Experiments over and over again until it became a perfect, pure version
The Founder’s Cut is released on YouTube, at the end we are shown a conversation between Miss Roads, aka Zero and her presumed therapist who tells her to keep a journal which is how we learn about Zero’s name and how she started her journaling
In “From The Founder’s Desk” we are introduced to a code in the form of a substitution cipher using newly created symbols that seem to be based off of the Genloss logo, this could be one of Four keys to the Founder’s door as mentioned on twitter, though what the keys are isn’t clear yet
Once translated, the message appears to be a letter from the Founder directed at an unnamed “you”, speaking of how the Founder watched and watched until noticing “you” and how special “you” were, but how “you were not perfect” and how they can and will create something beautiful and perfect
The letter could be referring to some final goal of creating a perfect “story” as mentioned before
In “Welcome to Generation 0” the Founder tells us about being ready to see the real story, the one from his generation, Generation 0 (an alternate universe or timeline?) we only need the keys and the door to get to see it, which will be provided to us in time
In “T_3” we hear the rumblings of a machine and see a red door which we now recognise from the Founder’s Game, Red Text Person shows up again, testifying of having seen people who shouldn’t exist yet do, implying they may have been displaced from their own timeline/universe or censored through generation loss, yet Red Text Person saw them
Red Text Person also refers to an “it” and “not knowing what it is for but I have to stop it”, the it in question could refer to a machine that the Founder uses to do everything they have been doing, or to the principle of Genloss itself
Lastly Red Text Person implies something is coming, but they will try to show us what “they” have done and to who
In “The Fortune Teller” we hear a voice speak of the future being a beautiful thing and then mentioning “the door” asking us if we know what lies beyond it and if we really want to open it, so far this video stumped me as to what it really means, the short sentence of hidden code also hasn’t been decoded with a 100% certainty but we will get there !
In the meantime VHS tapes of the Founder’s cut arrived to those who ordered them, where we were led to the Founder’s Game website, the “beginning” that was planted in our generation being the password to the website
The first part of the Founder’s game has us walk through a hallway, where we encounter the person from the T_2 video before they were killed when you make the “You vs Them” choice
We also see someone vigorously watch and rewind a tape in a room, this could possibly be the founder as they’re working on the Social Experiments at the time as they had not happened yet while T_2 person is still alive
Lastly we are given the option to choose between a Laboratory and Holding Cell B, which we will found out in a week whichever was chosen
Whew this was long! To recap my thoughts a bit concisely, I believe the Founder was the one to introduce/invent the technology used to alter people’s minds using generation loss to replace memories and influence the world they live in. It’s possible that Showfall was created as a company to apply their technology to spread and control media as they liked. If used on a large enough group of people they could effectively control entire worlds. On top of that it is possible time travel or multiversal travel takes place when we see the tunnels in the videos. People are taken “from one to another”, where they were “one of millions”, and get their brains messed with until they “are worthy” to participate in one of the stories.
What could possibly be the goal? Perhaps total control of everything we know, some sadistic story that will be “perfect” to the Founder’s vision. Maybe the freedom to create as many stories as they like. He mentions that the Social Experiments were a literal test to see what is possible with infinity, and that the rabbit hole can go deep with infinite generations, infinite stories. We are shown “his” generation up next and what will be the home of the “perfect” story, so it could be that he just wants to fix his own reality to suit his wishes.
How does Zero fit into this? She experienced some sort of incident leaving her troubled, which leads to her journal entries. She experiences strange dreams and talks of wishing how she could control everything. She deals with VCRs on the regular so she could become the Red Text Person who ends up witnessing “Generation 0” and tries to stop the Founder before things go to shit even more?
That or if you want to go full tragedy, she could somehow become the Founder in an attempt to fix her reality, where she could undo the incident that caused her so much trauma, but needs to practice on other realities first?
Zero is pretty much the biggest question mark to me at the moment, but the scale of the Founder, Showfall media, and their power are getting clearer and clearer, to a terrifying degree!
The timeline is a little wonky now that we are going from “generation 1” to 0 and that we are interacting with things from the past in the Founder’s Game, but I’m sure things will fall into place once it’s all over.
Anyway I could be incredibly wrong about all of this, but I am having an incredible time with all the lore and cannot wait to see where it all leads up to!
See ya!

On your c!dnb manifesto, how they handle the rest of the server? I'm sure i'm some moment the others will go to see ctechno so they might find cdream. Unless he hides like a sitcom when he tries to not be seen and still trying to get good frol the invaded kitchen
in my head it goes like this:
they do keep it quiet for awhile. phil knows. no one else does. dream keeps to himself. he's processing a lot of things. not just the torture but the realization that he doesn't know what will happen to the server and he's gotta be okay with that because trying to control and fix everything hurt. it almost ruined him. he wants to be with techno, for however long they have. that much he does know.
so he does hide a little. but techno's other friends (ranboo and niki) realize something is going on. techno is happy. there's always picked dandelions in a crappy old mug on the kitchen table. sometimes there's an extra plate or a blanket in a chair that should be unused. so techno explains the whole thing. he uses the word 'love' for the first time that's not in the middle of the night, whispered half asleep.
dream is still a little distant. still a little afraid this is also going to be yanked away from him because he cares. it's not easy. but one day he's coming back from a walk with another handful of dandelions and runs into niki who asks 'why'. she means it in a broad sense, really, but dream just says that techno likes dandelions and so that's enough for dream. niki says it's enough for her, too. she doesn't mean the dandelions.
when it does come out that dream is living with techno, techno makes one thing very clear: you'll have to go through him first. and you know how that goes, don't you, quackity? sam? they do know. that's not to say it's smooth sailing. tommy is angry and techno gets it. he says people change, sometimes we hurt each other, sometimes you're not a good person but that doesn't mean someone won't love you and that you can't change. tommy says dream can't change. dream is in the greenhouse because it's warm and sometimes his joints hurt and he likes to look at the roses. anyone can change, man, techno says. he knows that from experience and he knows about giving people second chances.
the server is still bloody sometimes. still full of hurt but at least in the arctic there's peace and love and rose bushes and dandelions in a chipped blue mug. that's enough, y'know?

Generation Loss: The Social Experiments.
A title befitting this show, I believe.
I’d like to talk about those last 15 minutes, give or take.
Ranboo & Charlie, the first characters of a show that would grow so exponentially over the course of little over 5 hours.
Ranboo & Charlie, returning to the place where it all began. A first episode of confusion, but not quite fear, turning to a third in which terror engulfed the pair.
Charlie’s death was something that was expected, I’d say. Charlie would give his life to give Ranboo a chance to end the Experiments once and for all, and Ranboo would make it. Charlie’s last words were used to help Ranboo shut the facility down.
He was finished. They had completed the trials. They were free.
So, as any performer does at the end of their show, he bowed. He turned to a room empty of anyone that could applaud him and took his final bow, announcing what had to be their Finale.
Fitting. The finish was in the same room as the beginning, but the veil had been torn down.
Victory wasn’t an outcome that had ever been possible.
Ranboo had achieved all he could, but the game wouldn’t end. Nothing he did mattered, not really. It was all entertainment for them, even after he thought he had broken free.
His final bow was followed by a betrayal.
Tied to the wall, televisions projecting his greatest failures all around them with the threat of death looming over him, he was faced with a choice.
They could Live. Participate in these games forever— after all, he has been an interesting protagonist to follow— and Live. Or he could Die. End it all, right here, right now. He would be free.
But the choice wasn’t his, now was it? No, no it was ours. The audience that had been following him, that had been controlling him, would decide his fate.
They couldn’t play the games again. They had already hurt so many people. They had already been hurt too much.
Ranboo begged for his death. It was the only mercy that could be given now.
And we gave him that.

Ooo what’s Niki up to in your rewrite? Does she still join the syndicate?
How perfect to follow the Jack Manifold question!! :D
Yes, she still joins the Syndicate, and the Syndicate even has a bigger cast of members this time around! But eventually, in the epilogue of the story basically, she sort of retires from the syndicate and goes to live in Snowchester.
At first, in her Team Rocket mindset and her post-doomday mental heath crisis, joining the syndicate is great for her mental health. Having people to rely on and that listen to her is really important to her and really helps this first stage of her character growth! She is still working on her underground city underneath Kinoko Kingdom with the hopes that one day all her friends will come down to live there with her. (i especially wanna say that this is totally a metaphor, at least in my version, for her wishing that people could be there with her in her bad mental state she could have people to relate to. But as a consequence would have the other people's mental health suffering as well. the best thing for her would be to leave the underground, but she couldn't see herself doing that, leaving to live with the syndicate. After all, when you are in the depths of depression and mental health crisis, you can't see a world where you are ever out of it).
Niki DOES NOT help to free Dream from prison. In fact the syndicate has no involvement with Dream's prison breakout, thats all Punz and Enderwalk!Ranboo. Then once dream does break out, as I said in the last post, he gets up to some SHIT and the server decides to form a rebellion to strike back at him!
When the syndicate allies with the Rebellion to take down dream, she moves into the underground area the rebellion is stationed out of. A side effect of this being that now she is constantly around the people that she sort of hates and used to be her best friends back in L'manburg. But this tight nit community, being around these people constantly, actually is the next big step to her healing arc. Where she is reminded that what she was searching for all this time was the community and sense of belonging that L'manburg gave her. In fact, this experience of her reconnecting with Tommy, Tubbo, Fundy, Eret, and even cWilbur, encourages her to show some of the newer members who never got to see Golden-Age L'manburg what it was really like. This changes their perspectives becuase they always thought it was either like new L'manburg or worse and they never understood why these guys had so much devotion to it. But now they do! She also starts up a little bakery shop in this underground area and works to expand and decorate it to make it feel more home-y.
She's then later involved in 2 major battles against dream, as well as the final fight! And like I said, after the whole thing is said and done, She goes to live in snowchester with Tubbo, Jack and Puffy. (oh yeah, she's still dating puffy! though they prolly had some rocky moments with everything going on) To help once again foster that sense of community and be around people that care about her. She doesn't quit being apart of the syndicate though.
Thank you so much for the question!! Love getting to put my character knowledge to the works! If you think there is anything aggressively ooc in here, let me know! the rewrite is not technically finished yet and I want to make sure everything is sound as can be!

tbh im losing my will to write bc all the cc's that i used to watch/did watch have been revealed to be terrible people that no part of me can support.
this is gonna be a bit of a rant of everything i stand on during this
support, send love and stand with shelby, alice, caiti, lexie, em, andi, moonzy and others taking a stand and finally showing the true colours of these 'men'. at the same time support, send love and stand with others that came out/were forced to talk about their experiences with this topic before such as cellbit, jack and niki. also show love for those standing up with the victims and supporting them no matter what - aimsy, billzo, max, ranboo, harry, etc. etc.
NOBODY who supports people like wilbur, illumina, george, sapnap, dream, punz, draggie and other 'influencers' who use their platforms for these horrific actions is welcome on my blog. i do not care if youre 'waiting for a response' - you have picked a side by doing that, whether you'd like to hear that or not, and it is not the victims. these 'men' are R4PISTS, ENABLERS, ABUSERS, RACISTS.
THIS ISNT DRAMA. the things these 'men' are saying theyve been revealed of doing - not accused, accused means 'claiming someone has done something wrong' - in this situation it is FACTUAL. the experiences these women have gone through do not deserve to be watered down to just 'internet drama' or 'twitter drama'. these 'men' have done ILLEGAL ACTS and deserve to rot behind bars for getting off on the manipulation, abuse and exploitation of these women, and i hope they get the justice they deserve for their actions.
a common thread between the majority of these cases is the theme of consent and alcohol. seems like the british attackers werent there for the tea video. the moment someone has alcohol in their bloodstream, they cannot consent. whether they have had one drink or 20, or if both parties are drunk, there is not consent. if there is not a clear, uncoerced, uninfulenced and solid 'yes' then there is not consent and it is assault/r4pe. this is not my opinion, this is THE LAW.
it is not your fault if you 'couldnt tell'. with wilbur, yes, he frequently used the 'tragic artist' role in his songs, but at the time it was said BY HIM to be a character, this is supported by his e-girl trilogy and the fact he said himself he was PLAYING an incel character. he is a manipulator, and the rest of the 'men' are liars too. they all sat behind screens showing a version of themselves best suited to gathering fame, and didnt feel bad about flipping completely when the streams or cameras turned off. HOWEVER, it is YOUR FAULT if you still support the 'men'. people saying 'he saved me' or 'he wouldnt do this' - MOTHERFUCKER HE JUST DID?? HELLO?? yes, it can be hard letting go of someone/something you loved, but it has to be done. i didnt want to get rid of a barbie when i was younger because playing with it made me happy, but i did anyways and guess what? i got over it. you do not know these 'men'. YOU ARE NOT LOSING A REAL LIFE FRIEND, YOU ARE LOSING A TOXIC, PARASOCIAL RELATIONSHIP.
for the (few) people who might see this and go 'whyre you so pressed' - i have experienced my own trauma in the past and that is all i will say, i do not owe it to you to go into full miniscule detail about what happened. hearing all the people i grew up watching doing the same things that i have and still am effected by today makes me feel sick, that isnt a metaphor either, it brings up bad memories and makes it even harder to detatch yourself from these situations. these 'men' have done irreversible actions. whilst it may have given them a sick minute of pleasure, it has haunted and traumatised these women for the rest of their lives. they are only 'apologising' or 'addressing' their actions because they do not want to lose their platforms. since the start their fans have only been a number, and the second that number drops they get all panicky and try do all the damage control they can. DO NOT SUPPORT THESE 'MEN'. SUPPORT THE VICTIMS. caiti shelby alice lexie em andi moonzy
i think im done with my rant. more might have to be added idk tho. bye bye
