THE THIRD DAY IS JUST AMAZING

I like the way you write the story 👉👈 I didn't know what to expect in the first seconds of the game when MC hit Mychael. It was very unexpected, but but it's very beautifully drawn. Mychael has opened up from a new angle, I like how alive his character feels. His new facial expressions are just amazing, the new locations are also wonderful, I don't have enough words to describe my admiration, and the new character Vida is just a cutie. I already adore them >w<

I'm wondering if this is a passing character and there's a feeling that Mychael wasn't just staring at us across the street while we were talking to them.

Thank you so much for the work you've done and for such a wonderful game (my hands are sweating because of Mychael's sudden mood swings, haha, now I love him even more. During the whole og game Smitten was never conflicting?

He pretty much the comedic relief of the whole game (and least it felt like that to me)

I think he was kinda a missed potential

Yes, love is sweet

Crushes are can be funny, silly and overall just positive

But it can be so destructive, so painful and so so exhausting when it gets to the point of obsession

And that route gives you a direct illustration of it

Which is amazing

I honestly think we don’t have enough media just showcasing this feeling of obsessive love and how dangerous it is

And the tragedy is SMITTEN IS TOO DELUSIONAL TO EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT HE’S DOING WRONG

Twilight Princess

the first Zelda game I ever completed :) it will always hold a very special place in my heart!! I’ve been wanting to replay it again so badly lately even tho it’s only been like a few months since I finished it (I can just use my bad memory privileges—)

listen, Twi’s my guy. I love him sm. I love running around Hyrule with him and holding all the cats and petting all the goats 😭😭😭😭😭 this game just hits on all the nostalgia for me I can’t listen to the score without tearing up 🥺 also I’m ngl at the beginning I genuinely didn’t like Midna at all and by the end I actually physically CRIED when she left so…. good job Nintendo. this game is literally the BEST 20/10 I could play it forever and never get sick of it

Breath of the Wild

so BOTW is actually the game I heard of first? like it introduced me to the concept of LoZ, and I even played it a bit a couple years ago, but I actually started playing it after I finished Twilight Princess. with some experience under my belt I enjoyed this game so much better haha

my favorite part is the way the game lets you solve problems in multiple different ways!!! I really enjoyed the shrines, I don’t think I ever really got super frustrated and had to look smth up with this game and it made me feel really smart hehe :) also the combat is SO satisfying but I rarely ever actually engage bc I uhhh I don’t want my weapons to break 💔

this one I borrowed from a friend :) my only complaint is it’s far too short 😭 I also went into this one determined to figure everything out by myself (riding my BOTW high) and I got SO confused like halfway through I literally had to look up a walkthrough 😭 ik that’s on me tho, I unfortunately get confused very easily 😔 this is another game that I’m so tempted to replay but I do not own it so 😭😭😭😭😭😭 NINTENDO PLS RELEASE THIS GAME AND TP BOTH ON SWITCH I AM BEGGING

the worldbuilding in this game is INSANE actually like they went so hard??? Plus in my school, we don't have a uniform so everyone just dresses up. I don't have much clothes but I still gotta dress up cause the other girls look like they're going for a fashion show... Hi bestie! I just had to catch up with everlong and omg I didn't know that was going to be the last chapter. I'm not complaining or anything, I saw an ask where you said that you lost inspiration to write on it and like that's completely valid ❤️ tbh the story ended perfectly, there wasn't any loose ends or unfinished business between reader and her relationships and most importantly there was ✨️character development ✨️ and I fucking love that from your writing. Sure, is nice to see the angst (as I said you're the QUEEN of angst) and all the drama but just personal growth from characters is the best to see.

I also saw that you have new series you're working on and I just gotta say... Andy, are you trying to fucking kill me???? Both of them sound so fucking good dude, all the heartbreak, longing, mutual pinning and just possible angst is going to kill me. I especially loved last line of the first chapter of We'll burn the sky giving us that glimpse into the future was just AAAAAAAAA

I also wanted to ask you something, like how do you feel about wrapping up a series and starting a new one (s)? Like you make these amazing stories and just are ready to make more equally as good ones and if anything I would say you're one of the most consistent writers there are, even when you're writing chapter by chapter. In my limited experience I've found writing can be so draining emotionally and mentally and it's just amazing seeing you putting so much content so I wanted to say thank you for that bestie ❤️

I’m glad you liked the way I wrote and ended Everlong! The character development was much needed for all the characters! Except for Eddie, he was already perfect 😌 I think if I put the fic on hold, I could’ve given you more chapters but I hate leaving anything unfinished and taking breaks from it because i’m always scared that if I do that, people won’t want to read it later on, you know? I had a lot more planned for Everlong but somehow my brain just went blank every time I tried to write more but I’m glad you still liked the ending of the fic! I might still write an epilogue or maybe some drabbles if anyone is interested!

To answer your question; when I finish writing a fic, I feel both sad and excited! Sad because I’m passionate about everything that I write, so it’s really sad to say goodbye to that fic. Excited because I managed to finish writing it and can look forward to a new fic and when I do start writing a new one, I’m always very nervous because i’m worried that it won’t meet my expectations or that people won’t like it as much as I hoped they would! Writing can definitely be very draining sometimes! I experienced that a lot the past few weeks but I refuse to take breaks because I miss it too much if I do, I love writing and that’s where I can express myself the most. I can put all my emotions into it, you know? It basically feels like therapy to me haha

& I’m happy you loved the first chapter of we’ll burn the sky! the angst is gonna be heavy in this one, lots of pain and drama but as always, you can expect a happy ending ❤️

Sure, he knows how to talk to you. Kind of. Well, he’s better than most people. He doesn’t try to cause any sort of drama, that’s not for him. He’ll shake your hand in agreement if you let him. He’s just lax, and trying to go with the flow with whatever it is. He hopes you’ll go with the flow, too. Try and take it easy, sort of deal.

And partly cause of his lax nature, he’s a little too kind toward others. He can’t help but be honest with his words, and tell you whatever’s going on in his head. The problem is that he’s a coward at heart, and will run off if he’s given the chance.

history / background: One push is all it took. He spent forever in a village, all because of a dragon, no thanks to that dragon… and finally, now that Frieren got him out of his shell, he was set free. He no longer had to be the village’s hero. He also got past his own strength… finally defeating the dragon, with his own accord. With the help of Frieren and Fern. And now, he travels with those two. They’re finding heaven… together.

It will take a while. He has a feeling that he will travel as long as Eisen did, the one that trained him back home. He is currently avoiding him, in fear of going back to talk to him. The scar on his face left traces of uncertainty in their relationship. But now that he’s with Frieren, and he knows Eisen sent her to find him, he will go back. But first, he must make this journey worthwhile for a story to tell to Eisen. Otherwise, he feels shame in going back with nothing in return.

Back home, back in Klee, his village is gone. Demons destroyed his village, the village that he ran away from… and that’s when Eisen found him. He misses his brother, who told him to run away from there. His father gives him a hard time back home, but he listened to his brother's words. He wonders what his father would've thought.

But now, he’s a strong axe user, thanks to Eisen’s help. And now, he carries the past behind him, following Frieren along her journey to heaven.

SU Music Rankings

Bc I can and I wanna start some Disk Horse rip. These are all in order of preference, with explanations, etc. It’s a long bitch. That said, I’m not counting little short jingles or small joke songs like Little Butler. This is the meat and potatoes of SU music- just under 30 songs. I might do the rest if people like my takes lol.

I scored it mostly on three bases- how dear it was to my heart, how much/often I relisten to it, and also what it means to the plot. That said, little fun songs don’t automatically go farther down than big, plot-heavy songs either! It’s a strange little balance.

Special Note: I don’t dislike any of this music! I love SU and that includes its bumps and glitches. I just pick favorite children lol.

1.) Change

Was there ever a more Steven moment than when he wiped the blood off his face and kissed it into sparkles? I think not. 

If “Be Wherever You Are” is an ode to young Steven, then this is teen Steven’s. Talking about change, and how much and how little it can do. How he holds his arms up for Spinel to hug him, so trusting. How he seems able to just. Break into soft tears at will, and not to be manipulative- it’s just his kind nature. The warmth in his voice. Fuck yesssss.

2.) Change Your Mind

This song is only fifty five seconds and it’s EVERYTHING to me. It really felt like someone was speaking the words I’d always held deep inside of me, unsure of how to say. It feels like a goodbye to someone who never really loved me. 

As much as I enjoyed Future, if this was the finale of SU, I would’ve been perfectly okay with that.

3.) Drift Away

This song gave me legitimate shivers the first time I heard it, and it still haunts me to this day. Spinel stayed, and waited, and all she got was a transmission thousands of years later. Fuck.

4.) Here We Are In The Future

THE MOVIE IS SU AS ITS BEST AND I WON’T BE SWAYED ON IT. Steven being a teen who loves his weird family but is growing just a bit sarcastic to their drama. The adorable love he and Connie share. His slow realization that he will always be working, always have things to do, is both somber and real. The Crystal Gems won’t be safe with one epic battle. They’ll be safe with years of hard work and love. HIS LITTLE HANDSHAKE WITH AMETHYST.

This is a helluva bop and a great way to summarize the main character’s backstories.

5.) Let’s Only Think About Love

Did ya’ll know that Zach Callison killed his throat with that last note? He gave his all for this performance in a vocal range he no longer comfortably do and by god did it SHINE. The FLAIR. The FORESHADOWING. All of the Gems all being awkward about Rose and Steven trying to bring them to the present. Peridot having a mini-existential crisis in a cute yellow dress. I love Zach Callison’s normal singing voice but man is that a fucking bop. Nothing will ever beat it.

6.) Here Comes A Thought

This bad boy helped me out a LOT with some mental issues I was dealing with in high school. I was unmedicated, unsupervised, and full of anxiety. I’d have break downs when I tried to speak about certain things. I couldn’t function. This song inspired me. It helped me feel okay with my intrusive thoughts.

And the episode! -chef’s kiss-. Once again bringing up the morally gray area of training child soldiers. Connie expanding her social group. Steven’s trauma hauling ass in that second half. The ANIMATION. Stevonnie’s gorgeous singing voice. GOD yes.

7.) It’s Over Isn’t It?

Just barely squeaking above Stronger Than You, this ballad is everything gorgeous. The whole episode is. I think Mr. Greg stands in the top five of my episodes for the entire show. It even got nominated!

There’s just so much about this song that I love. The gentle melancholy of Pearl’s voice. How the crew had to redo the shots for this bit bc Deedee went so fucking hard. The hard cuts between Pearl, remembering the love of her life, and Steven, who has begun to feel like he took her away. I’d recommend this song to anyone, regardless of what they do or don’t know about SU, simply bc it tugs so many heartstrings of love, loss, and responsibility.

8.) Stronger Than You

Did you realize this episode aired SEVEN years ago? This bitch was what got me into SU! Hearing about Ruby and Sapphire made my little gay heart so happy inside, and then getting a whole song confirming that they were a couple, that their love powered the strongest Gem on the team? Aaaaaaaaa

To this DAY I get excited when I hear Estelle start singing. This song is timeless. This song will live in media history. God I fucking love this song.

9.) Other Friends

I’m not the biggest musical person, so I hadn’t heard of Sarah Stiles before her casting as Spinel, but JESUS CHRIST the lady went hard. She went SO fucking hard. Sarah Stiles started on 100 and somehow just kept CLIMBING. You can just hear the sheer manic energy building in her voice, the anger and resentment. 10/10 Sarah Stiles is a queen.

10.) Independent Together

This made the list entirely bc the crew was like “you’re gonna get a himbo ass Steven-Greg fusion singing with Opal while Garnet flies across the moon on Lion while floating” and I am forever thankful to them for it

12.) Peace and Love (On the Planet Earth)

It Could’ve been Great is EASILY one of my favorite s2 episodes. I love the entire concept of this song. Of Steven making music to reflect how much Earth means to him and his family. Of him teaching Peridot some self-care. Also Peridot’s singing voice is really cute and squeaky. 

I know it’s silly, but I would’ve really enjoyed a flip around of this in Future! Like Peridot reminding Steven how much he loves music, that he needs to take time to relax for himself, maybe with a new verse or just a remix of the original song!

13.) Something Entirely New

I watched this episode as it aired, and I legitimately almost cried. I love Charlyne Yi’s voice so much ya’ll- her raspy, not perfect singing voice against Sapphire’s deep soothing lull is great.

And to have Ruby and Sapphire’s meeting be the way it was- for Ruby to bemoan Sapphire losing Homeworld, to being stuck with a single Ruby, while Sapphire is a noble who has always been taught everyone in her “caste” is vitally important (and has, in her own mind, taken that to mean every Gem, as she should) and how they come together and make each other happy. Good shit good shit.

14.) I’m Just a Comet

The fact that Greg’s music career never really blasted off pisses me off to this day bc Tom Scharpling’s voice is fucking BUTTER. Also the song really feels like a jab at his parents now that we know the kind of dynamic he had growing up. “This life in the stars if all I’ve ever known” is definitely him wiping away their existence after reminding them (and himself) the things they used to say about him.

15.) Do It For Her

This episode. This fucking episode. This episode got me permanently hooked on SU. I’d just binged season 1 and was kinda meh about it overall after the bop of Stronger Than You. “Oh,” I thought to myself, foolishly, “I’ll probably just casually watch this from time to time.”

Like three days later Sworn to the Sword aired and that was it. I was hooked! Pearl’s gentle training song turning darker and darker, Connie’s accompaniment from nervous to determined to fully into such a toxic mindset. The fact that SU had the BALLS to discuss the repercussions of training child soldiers, now and later. This episode was everything to me, STILL is everything to me.

Six years and well over 100 fanfics written later, I think it’s safe to say this show swallowed me whole and never let go.

16.) System/Boot.pearl_final(3)

I debated putting this on the list because it’s not anything crazy important, just a way to show things are Wrong, but I had to do it entirely bc Pearl is so damn SALTY.

Like telling us about the Gems makes sense, she felt like she was given a duty, but she went so damn petty. WHY is that Ruby alone. Gross. This Amethyst is a trash dump. Wtf are you people.

17.) Full Disclosure

This episode really feels like a turning point for SU. Before, the show had its dark moments- but now we’re in the thick of it, and it’s not going away. Full Disclosure felt like an rebuff to the idea of returning to any normal we’d established in season 1. Gems are actually a giant species now. Gems tried to kill us now. There’s this Yellow Diamond bitch who got namedropped. Something about a Cluster. 

The song itself is BALLER, with its ingenious use of Steven’s ringtone and photos as he tries to decide whether to clue in Connie on all this nonsense. Meanwhile we, the audience, already know damn well Connie about to yeet some common sense into him.

18.) What’s the Use of Feeling Blue?

I’mma admit it- I’m a Yellow Diamond stan. I’ve always loved her- her anger, her poise, her hardworking nature. I actively argued against the “Yellow Shattered Pink” theories back in the day. But, man, when this arc leaked? I got so overexcited I was too jittery to watch it for like two days. It’s easily my favorite arc of the series. The sheer alien nature of the zoo, the Famethyst, and absolutely Patti Lupone’s beautiful ballad. Goddamn. Yellow singing to Blue to try and help her regain her old status, the warble in her voice as she reminds Blue she misses Pink too, the movement of the bubbles as she talks about attack. It gives me shivers to this day. FUCK.

19.) Tower of Mistakes

This is, fun fact, that only SU song I have completely memorized. The story itself is kinda funny! See, we lost internet at my house for a solid 5 to 6 months when these episodes aired, so I only got a very brief window to view them all. But this was the first Amethyst song in a long while, and I didn’t want to forget it! So I keep replaying it in my head for ages. And that’s still definitely a thing.

Anyway will never not be sad that this entire song was about making it up to Garnet for Amethyst’s perceived slights with Sugilite (which was a two-way road), only for Garnet to pressure her into fusion later when pissed and never discuss it again bc Garnet probably never thought twice about it and Amethyst has the emotional openness of a clam that’s just been told its ugly. Helluva way to make someone feel like shit, G. Helluva way to bottle that shit, Ames.

20.) On the Run

I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times: Amethyst! Needed! More! Songs! 

The dichotomy between Steven’s play and Amethyst’s honest desire to run away from home is so well-done, especially when you consider a lot of Steven and Amethyst’s actions are playing together. The song is also near and dear to me simply bc it’s my favorite Amethyst episode to exist (well, maybe second to What’s Your Problem, but not by much). Moments like these are all the proof I need that they were right to fuse first.

21.) Be Wherever You Are

This tune really just feels like an ode to who Steven was as a kid. Trapped on an island with no way home, and he’s just happy to be with his friends. The stars are beautiful and not oppressive. Also that one animatic with Lars and the Off Colors playing in the Homeworld Kindergarten to this music was iconic and made this song get stuck in my head for a solid month.

22.) Familiar

I ADORE how the crew use bright neon colors to show how alien Homeworld can be. And Steven recognizing that the Diamonds treat him how the CGs used to, and how prepared he is to “fix” a broken family. It’s a soft, gentle tune about melancholy. Also the Pebbles are beautiful.

23.) Let Me Drive My Van Into Your Heart

Such a cute little love ballad, but every time I listen to it now I just imagine the heart attack Rose must’ve had at the line “And if we look out of place/Well, baby, that's okay/I'll drive us into outer space.” like there’s a Vietnam war flashback if I ever heard one

24.) What Can I Do?

I’m kind of neutral on this one? Rose and Greg both have great voices, but the song itself lacks many lyrics. I think it was definitely a good way to show Rose’s flaws in thinking.

Also, I’m shocked they managed cram that much vaguely sexual innuendo into two minutes, followed by how Not Hetereo that dance between Rose and Pearl was, and not get their asses chewed by it. You go guys.

25.) Cookie Cat

I love a lot of the vibes this song has. The lyrics are so damn prophetic, but they also sound like the kind of weird 90s commercials I grew up on. It’s been like two decades since I saw the Shirley Temple commercial but I’ll be damned if I don’t remember “Animals crackers in my soup! Monkey and rabbits loop-de-loop.”

26.) Giant Woman

I am. NOT the biggest fan of Steven’s original singing voice. I feel bad saying that, since it was just Zach Callison as a kid, but he never jived well with me for some reason. So I wouldn’t listen to this on the fly. 

The song itself is still really good though, with all sorts of fun animation of Amethyst and Pearl being bitchy to each other. It’s a bit sad in hindsight to see tiny Steven trying to get his moms to get along. Ahh, season 1.

27.) Strong in the Real Way

This song has SUCH a strong start. Pearl reflecting on Sugilite’s problems, but the show making sure to show us that Pearl’s lack of enthusiasm towards her also lends itself to jealousy as well as just general malaise. How much she cares about Steven, and wants him to grow up strong. 

And then Steven just kinda. Ruins it? I appreciate his enthusiasm for tryna bulk up but to take what was starting as such a rich, personal song and broadcasting it to random strangers just makes me a bit sad. Almost a bit angry on her behalf?

28.) That Distant Shore

I KNOW this is gonna create some discourse, but I’m just not the biggest Lapis stan. I love her voice. I love the visuals of the song. And I get why she felt afraid and needed to flee.

But Lapis never got to take responsibility for her own actions. And, in the end, the song feels hollow to me- because we all know she’ll never talk to anyone about it, know she’ll burst back in and destroy the barn, and no one will ever question it. I like Lapis a lot, but I feel like her arc never was fully finished. She never got help. She never learned to feel safe.

29.) Dear Old Dad

I’ve yet to meet a single human being who likes this episode tbh. There’s some great discussion about what kind of parent Greg is from it, and what kind of dynamic he has with the Gems that he felt he had to fake an injury to hang out with his son. Honestly the first half was fine and dandy. It’s just that then they Greg just went out of his way to drag Steven away from missions and such. It never jived well with his character before or after.

Also, is it just me, or does Zach himself sound like he hates the song as he sings it? There’s no passion or heart in his voice. It sounds like they told him to read off cue cards and he did. Tom Scharpling’s best attempts didn’t save this one for being a skipper. But the episode, unfortunately, isn’t, so it gets a spot on here.

So, like… I have come to like solidly decide “fuck it all I will not apologize for my love of the sexy gender queer furry bullshit that is omegaverse”

I know that’s not particularly groundbreaking but there are so many half baked think-pieces about how bad and fetishizing and whatever but like. Yeah it’s a porn/romance genre. Welcome to where the fetishes go. Also I love the way gender roles get examined if you take away the traditional binary system and have a kind of base trinary system that depending on the universe might not even fully present until adolescence so you get kids growing up with a different understanding of interpersonal relationships. Sure not everyone is interested in exploring that but some stories have really interesting dynamics and perspectives on gender and relationship dynamics that are almost so ingrained in society that having it bluntly stated in a typical het romance it would fall flat or be too universally frustrating perhaps to be cathartic.

On top of that I’ve been listening to like… audio smut and there’s some pretty cool omegaverse concepts out there. (Pulling my hair out I didn’t know about GWA subreddits or whatever before now) and I am somehow like “oh, this is a cool concept for a base smutty story…. But. What if I took that and expanded upon it in a way beyond the questionable anatomy of knotting?” And now I’m stuck in worldbuilding mode for a story based around a subreddit community I have just begun lurking and don’t know all the social rules and so I don’t actually know if it’s at all normal even remotely to like… make fanart and OC concepts in your head, even if you keep it to yourself? Like do you send a message like “hi I was inspired by your narrative grunting and made a fanfic universe sorry I have a brain that doesn’t work like a normal brain”

Like sometimes I am mortified by my own lack of social understanding. I just like. In my brain the concept of the Omega Hunt CYOA Collab is so fucking fascinating??? And they all feel like these character prompts that my brain wants to create universes around despite the fact like… I do not know the social norms of this community and have not earned entry in any way.

Also like if there’s no physical descriptors of most of the characters is it fine to just bullshit something based on a mental image? What if you offend the person by assuming they look a way because of how they sound? What if your idea of a bear and their idea of a bear is like 50lbs different and someone gets upset???? But what if I do just be doing my thing over in the corner and they find out and are like “…… dude that’s my porn character.” Like??? Mortifying?

But also Grant is a sadist with a knife fetish who also mentions he’s gonna protect you and patch you up when you get home because he’s got no interest in breaking something once it’s his and I have no idea why my brain is so stuck on creating based around him and his southern drawl being my country up. I absolutely adore the tropes he seems to be and if he’s just gonna sit there bein a one off character in one porn audio can I not just like… take it. Not like take take. But. I am. Oddly compelled.

I want to create a ship of pragmatic antagonism and a couple who essentially marry before getting to know each other and fall in love over the course of learning to direct their mutual anger at the right people, and being damaged in the right way to fit together comfortably. I want to create the fucked up corporate and wealthy elitism that leads to a situation where there’s an event where they kidnap some omega to go hunt for some rousing entertainment and tradition. What society makes that I want to play in it… aaaaaaaaa

Heard you was making characters 👁️👄👁️

I was just gonna reply but then I got SO SO carried away so here’s a reblog with far too much of an info-dump 😅

The basics I like to start off with are:

Name – could mean something, could ref something, could be a generic name that fits

Age – Could be a precise number could be a “mid-thirties” or if they’re an elf “old as fuck”

Physical Build – Things like hair and eye colour are a must have for me. But then for their body type, I like to try and take into consideration what their job is and how that would affect their appearance!

Dress Sense – This is also fun to think about in terms of how their job affects their fashion! (and also fun to look on pinterest for ideas!)

But for personality this often takes me a bit to figure out, over the years I’ve come up with a quick way to get a feeling for the character, and usually in the process of writing them in the story I can develop them more as I go.

KEY TRAITS!!!

I pick three prominent traits, 1 positive, 1 neutral, and 1 negative(ish), for example if I use Rhosynel: Protective – Flighty – Reckless

Protective means that she forms bonds with those she spends time with a little too easily, but once you’re her friend, she’d go to the ends of the middle earth for you!

Flighty means that she tries to avoid both danger and responsibilities, she’d much rather flee from a dangerous situation than engage, this can translate into restless energy when anxious.

Reckless, so for this one, I’ve chosen it specifically because it’s like the EXTREME of her positive trait, protectiveness can be pushed further and further until a once flighty and avoidant personality ends up snapping and becoming incredibly reckless to protect those she cares for.

(Also these traits might help or hinder them in their job which is fun to consider! For Rhos being protective was great when she was a Ranger, but being reckless got her injured multiple times trying to protect others, while being flighty means she avoids danger on her messenger runs!)

Some more fun positive to negative links could be things like: Determined > stubborn, outgoing > loud-mouthed, caring > overbearing, knowledgeable > know-it-all, honest > blunt

But once I’ve got a few key traits, I can build her up from there!

Backstory! I’ll be honest with you I made Rhosynel’s backstory up on the fly and then had to backtrack and edit chapters 😂 BUT I knew I wanted her to be an ex-ranger, and to have a bird, so then it was a case of figuring out who-what-when-why. And then it snowballed from there and now she has a family tree and distant cousins and aaaaaaaaa.

So for backstory depending on how much it affects stories, you could keep it somewhat simple, or you could spend time coming up with familial links, friends, old/past jobs. OR you could live it simple and see what develops on its own!

Other things just for fun:

A pinterest board!! Can be face claims, outfits, weapons/tools, animals, or just general things that vibe with you for them.

Themes and motifs! For Rhosynel I knew she was birds, feathers, storms, and flying, which I can then occasionally reference!

A colour pallet! Same as above basically, does your character trend towards wearing a specific colour, does it reflect anything about them, is it their fave colour, or just the one they end up wearing most??

Face claims, can sometimes be easy, but most of my guys remain as mildly-human-shapes until I get a bolt of inspiration 😅

I think that’s enough of a word dump for now, I just get very into making characters which might explain why I have 300+ for my own worlds 😅😅😅

1) she was concerned for him, obviously, but since it wasn’t a super horrible wound she was mostly just exasperated. She knows he wants to try to improve but he’s constant pushing his limits (maybe too much) and she doesn’t want him to end up hurting himself like he evidently did. He probably got a little concerned Arcade lecture after that one.

2) she misses the people, the experiences and the things she left behind, but she doesn’t miss the Selene all that much. It was a shitty place full of shitty people.

As for the other KINDGOM groups, she wasn’t exactly surprised (she was filled in on the fact these were alternate Earths) but surprisingly they were actually less horrid than her KINGDOM. On C-Earth, KINGDOM is more of a dictatorship than a corporation, but on Alpha and Omega Earth they aren’t really like that (or, they haven’t gotten to that stage yet).

3) this is interesting!! She was fully filled in on the different events occurring on each Earth, but since she was split both versions of her got slightly different stories

- Alpha Earth Arcade was told of the people coming in and invading, stealing their radianite with weapons of incredible destruction, and she was reminded of KINGDOM back home. She’d lived a similar experience: people coming and destroying everything you held dear. So she did not see a problem with it at all.

- Omega Earth Arcade, however, learnt something different. Of a starving planet desperate for anything to assist them, of a mirror Earth with enough resources for the two of them but who refused to share. That the Spikes and attacking was their last resort- it was brought out of them. And that brought and anger in Arcade she was used to feeling: she grew up in an impoverished place with wealth literally within view, taunting her. She saw no issue with taking what she needed.

Review: AAAAAAAAA this story had so much emotion??? It was so cool to see Tony's reaction to certain parts of the musical in relation to Peter, especially the part where Philip died. I hadn't even thought of how Tony would react to that tbh, so it was almost a surprise, but it made perfect sense for Tony to react rather strongly to it compared to other parts. Loved this fic, 10/10

Summary: Not sure if this has been done before? But would you consider a prompt where Peter gets kidnapped but escapes easily, his kidnappers not even realizing that he's gone. So Peter gets home and is hanging out with Tony and then Tony gets a ransom call from the kidnappers but Tony just stares at Peter who just shrugs like its no big deal.

Review: This fic was really sad but really nice at the same time. I like that both Peter and his parental figures noticed that something was wrong, I feel like it's usually one or the other in most fics, and I like that Peter asked for help when it was starting to get too bad. We definitely need more stories about characters getting help for their depression instead of suffering through it :']

fell in love with your character almost immediately and has not looked back since

f2p but he works really hard to get the cards he wants

diligently saves up and spends all his pulls on a UR+ card he absolutely MUST have

stares longingly at the URs and has to resist the very real urge to just buy stuff

invested in the story, the characters, the nuances, and the LORE 

thinks of theories and ideas on how the world works and the facets of each character

he started off by buying some devil (human?) points… and it escalated

slippery slope-- recharge missions took him by the neck and then he gave in to being VIP (might as well, since he can afford it…)

outwardly calm about playing the game, enjoys talking with Satan about the possible lore and having something to bond with Levi

inwardly pretty invested: adores the interactions, remembers what options are best for each surprise guest dialogue 

Asmodeus

posts about all his Good pulls, especially when he gets the new UR+/UR cards 

the type to unlock all the devil flowers for the flex but also for the aesthetic 

scrolls through devilgram (uhh human...gram? so instagram) and unlocks every story asap

thinks the game is adorable whenever he gets to interact with you as a surprise guest

probably doesn't have a high preference for any particular card but absolutely LOVES the pretty ones 

love love LOVES the fan art that people draw of you

Hums to the opening screen song in the shower or even the opening video (that he voices hahah) 

gets frustrated when the levels get hard and he has to grind but so far hasnt given into buying anything

Not as invested as his brothers but he does spend money just to get a REALLY nice UR+ card like the rain event 

Water does wonders for aesthetics（=＾0＾=）

Belphegor

the game is too fast-- so many events for him to care about that he sometimes drops off the face of the earth to play it or drops the game and takes a break from it for a while

there is no in between with this dude

he can only invest in the game when he feels like it, if he feels somewhat motivated 

thinks the dance battles are funny

slightly upset when he doesn't get the cards he want from gacha but it's too bothered by it

has like at least one UR of you from an event that he didn't expect to get and that's good enough for him

the bed head cards got him feeling some type of way ////

had notifications for his AP during that period of time; has never grinded harder

Beelzebub

what can i say? the man gets lucky from free pulls all the damn time

least invested, but does enjoy reading the story and the characters; just gets kind of lazy when he gets stuck on levels 

does his best to level up enough to continue the story and unlock your gram stories but has a hard time grinding to unlock devil flowers

which is understandable considering the amount of URs he has 

i could probably see his brothers fight each other to get his account when he thinks about giving it away 

plays more often during events because he likes the extra interactions from the game with you 

Bonus:

Diavolo

Lowkey does not know how to play for a while but does log into the game just to make sure he gets his free pulls

His knowledge of the games grows EXPONENTIALLY and by the end of the first week

he’a asking Lucifer to add him, what cards he has, should he invest in this event or not

Lucifer isn’t sure if he’s happy with this development or not 

Definitely has Barbatos join in on the fun too :333

Barbatos somehow ends up being as equally invested as Levi but the only way any of them can tell is because he revealed himself to be top 10 at one event

Adores every UR card of you and asks Lucifer if he should just sign up and be VIP

Does get extremely lucky at times

“Lucifer, what’s the difference between a UR+ and a UR? Huh, why? Well, this card I got has a UR+ on it--”

Ranks probably above Asmodeus and below Lucifer in terms of how invested he is into the game
