In “On Her Majesty's Secret Service” (1969) James Bond impersonates genealogist Sir Hilary Bray to infiltrate Bloefeld’s criminal organization. Bond was played by George Lazenby and Bray was played by veteran actor George Bray. Lazenby had no acting experience before being cast in the film and his impersonation of Baker’s voice was unconvincing. So during the scenes where Lazenby pretended to be Bray, his voice was dubbed by Baker.
This wasn’t the first time actors were dubbed in James Bond films. The Bond Girls were cast for their beauty and their voices were regularly dubbed later (sometimes due to their original accents). These actresses were all dubbed by Nikki van der Zyl:
Ursula Andress as Honey Ryder in “Dr. No” (1962)
Shirley Eaton as Jill Masterton in “Goldfinger” (1965)
Claudine Auger as Domino in “Thunderball” (1965)
Mie Hama in “You Only Live Twice” (1967)
Male actors didn’t escape the dubbing treatment either. They were revoiced due to thick foreign accents.
Gert Frobein as Auric Goldfinger in dubbed by Michael Collins “Goldfinger” (1964)
Adolpho Celi as Emilio Largo dubbed by Robert Rietti in “Thunderball”
Tetsuro Tamba as Tiger Tanaka dubbed by Robert Rietti in “You Only Live Twice”
This is only a partial list.

Did you know...
that Superboy (1988-1992) has a connection with the James Bond franchise? George Lazenby, the second actor to portray 007, played Jor-El, Superboy's father. Britt Ekland, who was a "Bond girl" in The Man With the Golden Gun (1974), played his mother, Lara.
