Do you think the recording of TIT (bc it has to be getting recorded at some point tbh) will be a dvd release or a youtube upload this time around? I forget if Dan said any specific reason why WAD ended up being free on YT, but I feel like after setting that precedent, there's almost no going back. Ofc, there is the precedent of the two actual dnp tours being dvd or YT Red/Premium releases, but do you have any thoughts?
oh anon i'm so happy you asked. bc i did so much research for this about WAD before we knew what would happen with it.
so. the problem with dvds is storage capacity. with TIT being 2 hours, that is a lot of footage to put on a singular dvd at the resolution that they'd currently want to. dvds come in 2 sizes: 4.7 gb and 8.5 gb. you can fit a 2 hr movie onto a single layer (4.7) but any longer, and you need the double layer (8.5). thus, TIT would have to be on a double layer, unless they don't plan on including anything else except the 2 hr recording. a dvd can't play high resolution footage, only standard definition (480p). so there'd be a picture quality difference.
this is where blu-rays come in. they can store and play 1080p footage. they also hold significantly more space (a single layer blu-ray can hold 25 gb, a double 50 gb). part of the trade-off here though is that higher resolution footage takes up more space. a single layer can store 2.25 hr of HD video; a double 3 hrs. they could get away with a single layer, and that includes room for 2 hours of standard definition BTS video.
problem is, not everyone has a blu-ray player (not like everyone has dvd players either). but the main issue is that DVD players won't play blu-rays--and this includes disc drives for laptops and PC's. you need a special external driver to do it.
we'd be wading into contracts and companies being interested in selling physical copies, and given how discs in general are sort of becoming obsolete, i would be surprised if they put it on disc.
our next option would be streaming. i don't really see them wanting to attach it to any larger corporation--especially given they're physical media guys. the thought of just losing something simply because a streaming service doesn't want it anymore, or the company goes under, would be enough to keep them away from that.
people pitched the idea of nebula or dropout, but i don't see them posting a single video on nebula and then nothing else. and since i don't see them as patreon guys, i don't think they'd want to do incentives for subscription style stuff. dropout would be more of a possibility, but they'd probably want to do more with dropout in terms of guest starring before entirely handing their baby over, y'know? like hank did a whole d20 season before he did his special there.
i do think they might just upload it to dapg. genuinely. because of what happened with WAD--both rights wise and precedent wise. but also, could be extremely good for them if they can actually monetize it. their longer videos on dapg do very well, and since WAD happened before TIT was fully ironed out, i bet they've included the prospect of doing so into their scripting, so it has the ability to be monetized on their channel. plus, the desire to make it accessible for everyone (even though they are trying to tour in more countries). depending on how that goes, it may be delayed in being released online.
a lot of technical talk but i am so glad you asked anon, i love logistics discussion!

Why You Should Watch Marma1ade!
All about my favorite MCYTer :D
Introduction
Marma1ade is a small Minecraft Youtuber, currently with about 8.6k subscribers, and only 75* videos. She doesn't have a lot of series, but she has been uploading regularly for about two years now! Most of her videos are single-player, but she is a part of the Skyblock Kingdoms SMP (link to her channel playlist) and has been a part of two collaborative videos, one a hardcore luckyblock video (her video) with AnimusJ (his video) and one with AvidMC (on his channel). She does not, as of currently, have any inter-series lore or storytelling, so you don't need to worry about having to catch up on any of that.
*the number of videos is listed as 80, but only 75 of them are full-length, 5 are yt shorts
Video/Editing Style
She has chill, relatively slow-paced videos. She doesn't yell loudly, narrating her videos in a quiet but clear voice. She DOES use a lot of background music, especially in her earlier videos, but it doesn't feel like she over-uses it, and she matches the beat of the song to in-game actions (particularly in her chunklock miniseries). She uses B-Roll in building montages (various 2-3 second clips of different stages of building- if you've seen any of Ethoslab's videos, you probably know what this is) as well as timelapses. She tells a story for everything she builds!
Series
Survival Let's Play Season One: Magical theme to her builds, stories about a world with connecting civilizations. Starts out living in a mangrove swamp! 32 episodes, finished (MC version 1.19)
Survival Let's Play Season Two: Builds and lives in a cherry grove valley village, with a story about how time has passed and changed the buildings, and new places have been built. 14 episodes, likely finished* (MC version 1.20)
Chunklock miniseries: Starts out in a forest biome, explores nearby areas, does not have an overarching story. Her main goal is to beat the Ender Dragon- because the chunklock datapack is the way that it is, a long-term series with big builds just wasn't a realistic goal. That's ok though- the sacrificial shrine is worth it! 5 episodes plus a combined movie, finished (MC version 1.20)
1.20 Hardcore: Lives in between a cherry biome and a plains village! Has built a lot of farms, but no large builds yet- smaller builds yes, but nothing really MASSIVE. 5 episodes, ongoing** (MC version 1.20)
Skyblock Kingdoms Season One: SMP series with 19 other creators, all playing on Skyblock, in teams of two each with their own island and tree type! Marm is one of the Mangrove witches, and she has a lot of involvement in the OSSHA arc. 13 episodes (as of 19 Sept. 2024), ongoing (MC version 1.20-1.21)
*Marm has not confirmed the series is finished. However, it has not been continued in 9 months, and she has since started two new series.
**Marm has not started any new SINGLEPLAYER series, and she stated in-episode that she has plans for builds later on, but she is currently busy with SBK. She may return to Hardcore in the future.
Series Lore
While Marm has lore in her Skyblock Kingdoms series, she does not have any canon* lore connecting to her other series. In SBK lore, she has magical powers, and is connected to the void through her magic. Her character is connected to AvidMC's character/lore. On her Tumblr (@/marma1adee) she has made comments about possible connections to other series' lore (specifically LP S1) but nothing has been confirmed or even mentioned in-episode.
Why She Is Awesome
Marma1ade is very talented at both playing Minecraft and editing videos, and her videos are always fun to watch. She's a very friendly person, and cares a lot about sharing her ideas with the world!
She has a good sense of humor, which adds a lighthearted air to her storytelling. Also, she cares less about perfection and more about the experience, so she likes to ask her viewers what they think she could do to improve!
One funny quirk I've noticed is that Minecraft mobs seem to always be in the wrong place for her. If you think, "oh, that's normal!", then you have NO IDEA just how bad this curse is. Not a SINGLE mob is in the right place the first time! In fact, I believe that her frogs from LP S1 are still stuck underneath their lily pad :P
IN SHORT: MARMA1ADE FOR LIFE!!!! :D
#v thoughts#marma1ade#I Love Her. Bottom text#mcyt#marm lore rambles#<- eh.. technically? It's the same flavor of post

Hi! I’m the anon who wrote the ask about Hunter’s parental issues and about his attachment to Kevin. Thank you for answering my asks, I absolutely love the way you write and how you explain everything! You’re extremely talented!🫶
I honestly didn’t notice how in love Hunter was with Kevin until I watched the movie a second time. It’s crazy how you can literally see all feeling in Hunter’s eyes when he looks at Kevin. I also loved how you said that their relationship fits a BDSM bratting dynamic, because I totally see it.
[and as someone who has ADHD and deals with RSD on a regular, I completely understand him. It sucks.]
Hey 🤘 [prev ask for context] Yeah I obviously couldn’t be 100% sure they were from the same person but it definitely makes the most sense lol
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you enjoy my rambling thoughts about Hunter as a character <3
If you do like my writing, I’m tempted to sheepishly gesture over to my actual Metal Lords fics over on Ao3 if you haven’t checked them out, even tho it makes me feel like a bit of a dick to do so 😅 (They are mostly locked to registered users, blame AI data scraping. The only Metal Lords fic not locked rn is a tiny ficlet. An Ao3 account is free tho 👀)
In any case, I really appreciate that you pushed me to do a bit of analysis again. Because sometimes I tend to forget that all the stuff that lives in my head as “obvious” isn’t always stuff I’ve said out loud on here lmao
There’s a lot to pull from the film if you’re willing to be a bit mentally ill about it.
And you’re absolutely right about the way he looks at Kevin, I mean, it happened enough for me to make a whole ass gifset of it lmao
Look at him. The boy is smitten. Clueless, of course. But smitten.
Which I credit basically entirely to Adrian Greensmith, as it was a vision he had for the character. I really can’t imagine Hunter having been played by anyone else as he brought so much to the role. (Fun fact, if I remember correctly: Noah Urrea, who plays Clay, originally auditioned for Hunter. No harm but I'm very glad he didn't get that. He makes a good Clay and Hunter just needed to be played by Adrian.)
One of the key things Adrian brought to the role also being, probably accidentally, his anxiety.
"I spent a lot of Metal Lords feeling a bit anxious [...] and in hindsight I wonder if some of that was just a sign that Hunter was quite an anxious character [...] I mean his body's so tense all the time." - Adrian Greensmith.
I shortened that quite a bit so I'm including a slightly longer clip of the interview audio for more context. (I can upload a subtitled video clip if anyone wants that as well as link the video on yt but I'd have to do a bit of a search for that)
Aside: If I had to guess I'd say he's probably referring to Peter Sollett who directed Metal Lords when he mentions a 'Pete'.
And yeah the bratting thing was a little bit of a joke but mostly not a joke. Without going absolutely off the deep end, the mentality behind bratting is something I really see in Hunter.
Evie Lupine has a wonderful video about bratting and why people would be interested in it (and why some people hate it) but a short snippet that always spoke to me from that is the following:
"The motivations behind bratting are pretty varied. I think one of the main ones would be a sense of security and comfort. This is when the acting out is sort of a way to be reassured that even when you, break rules, even when you push at things, the partner that you're with is not going to abandon you." - Evie Lupine
Obviously, with Hunter's fear of abandonment, it's easy to see why this would appeal to him.
He also just...idk he has brat energy - sincerely, a brat.
And Kevin does just play out the counterpart to that. He doesn't always have Hunter under control but he tries to.
And he does mostly act as that safe person to brat against, which again amplifies the impact it has when Hunter starts to think he's actually losing Kevin, destroying that feeling of safety.
Aside: I obviously don't think that these characters, in universe, negotiated for a bratting dynamic. In universe it'd be something that just sort of organically developed within their friendship/relationship. But even more than that it's an archetype of a dynamic that we as the audience can easily read into their interactions if that makes sense.
Can you believe the shit they will accidentally put in movies? lmao
And yeah, I have ADHD as well. And RSD is something that affects me pretty fucking severely. I've only really become more aware of it in the past year or so as my partner has pointed it out more and more.
So it's definitely something that I then noticed more and more in Hunter too.
Obviously this is all just my take on the character, and other people might have totally different interpretations. That's the beauty of art, we all get to find what we need in it and read it in our own ways, influenced by our own life experiences.
Thank you again for asking, Anon 🤘 (if you want to use a nickname or smth to identify that you're the same Anon, let me know. If not, that's totally okay too, but I might not always know it's you)

Hello! I hope you’re having a good day!
I saw your piracy for beginners post, and it was incredibly helpful. I was wondering if you perhaps had suggestions for finding torrents with subtitles? I have auditory processing issues and most things are nearly impossible for me to watch without them. If not, no worries! Thank you very much!
Hello, thank you for asking!! <3 I feel this question in my soul. English isn't my first language, and when I started pirating I was younger, and didn't understand a lick of what was being said in English media without subs. Finding subs was the hardest part of my pirating experience back then, so I'm very happy to teach you the way of the subs!
Tutorial for how to get subtitles under the cut! :D
First, some basic vocaboulary. Weaboos will know this already - there's hard subs and soft subs. Hard subs are encoded directly into the video, they're part of the frames. You can't turn them off and are considered kinda bad quality. They're harder to find nowadays. Soft subs are your best friends! They're captions that you can turn on and off. For them, you need a media player software that support subs (like VLC). They can be inside the video (usually when the videos is in .mkv format) or outside the video, as files of their own, in .srt format mostly. To get VLC to play an external subtitle file automatically, you need to rename it with the same name as your video file (ex: snails.mp4 + snails.srt), and they need to be in the same folder.
The easiest way to get subs is to just look for a video that includes subtitles from the get-go. I'm gonna walk you through the steps in 1337x, but this will work in other torrent sites as well! Usually, searching for "movie name sub" will get you few or no results - most times, it's movies with multiple dubs (for example, multiple spoken languages you can choose from) that have subs for each language. However: internal subtitles are often a sign of quality, and many good/quality releases will include them!
So. Let's say you want to watch the Fellowship of the Ring:
It's a popular movie, and there's a lot to choose from. No mention of subs, but... The first two super popular ones - they're so popular because they're from YIFY. Their releases are TINY compressed, and you will lose some quality, but get tiny files that are easy to store and process! In my experience, it's a dice roll whether they'll have subs, but since they're so popular, you can usually download external matching subs from yts-subs.com. Let's open the first one up. You want to look for info about the "video", "audio", and next possibly "text", "subs", or "subtitles" tracks, and... bingo!
There's English subtitles in this one! What about the third one, that's 14.7 GBs?
I had to press ctrl+f on my browser to search for keywords, since it was a lot of text... but see how it says "Text#1", "Text#2", etc? They're describing in detail the quality of the subtitles! LOTR is a very popular saga, so releases tend to be very good for the average user.
Same method can be applied for tv series. Usually, the best the rip quality, the higher the chances they'll have subs.
Same season of doctor who - first one is half the size as the second one (lower quality), but no subs to be found on the first one.
What if you don't find a torrent that includes subtitles? Or if you don't have the storage space to download the fancy ones?
There's websites where you can look for your video file, and see if someone has uploaded subtitles for it.
I already mentioned the YIFY subtitles site, for subs for YIFY releases, yts-subs,
opensubtitles is a bit clunky in UI, but very good for movies,
addic7ed is the best for tv shows,
I've also heard good things of subscene.
It's best to look for subtitles that match your release/filename perfectly, as they will be synced better. But if you have subs that are out of sync, you can usually adjust them in VLC directly (usually just pressing g or h until they look good is enough). This easy technique saved my ass a lot.
Lastly: even though I don't use them myself, there are media players (and possibly VLC plugins?) that retrieve subtitles directly from online sites so you don't have to go hunting for them. I just gave BSPlayer a shot rn - it's super pushy in wanting you to get the paid option, and I don't like the UI, but it doesn't bundle adware or anything like that, and does it's job! Once you open a video file, you go in "menu>subtitles>check for subtitles online" and you can try them on, see which one works the best.
I hope you have a good time pirating!! Remember to stay safe and bind your client to the VPN. If you need any extra help I'll be very very glad to assist! <3 And as always, if anyone seeing this has extra resources to share, please do!

Hey, can I ask you how do you make your gifs?
It took a lot of trial and error, but here is what I have learned(so far cause I'm very much still going through it):
1. Photoshop vs Photopea
To make your gifs you can either use Photoshop or Photopea. I started off with Photpea because it’s cloud-based and doesn’t take up any space on your computer, but I've since moved onto Photoshop. Most of the tutorials you’ll find will use photoshop. So if you need help or want to learn a new skill it will be much easier to find that help if you are using Photoshop.
Photoshop
👆🏽They have ones out there for mac if you search for them on here, but I happen to have a Windows PC so this is the one I use🤷🏽♀️
Photopea
2. Downloading videos
I get most of my videos from either YouTube or torrent sites which have a wide selection of shows and movies for you to download.
Watch So Much
👆🏽Is my favorite torrent site. You can also stream shows and movies on their site well.
YTS
👆🏽Is another torrent site I use, but they only have movies on there.
Qbittorrent
👆🏽Lets you download torrents. I should note that If you torrent you'll need a VPN. Literally do not try and download any content from HBO or Disney without a VPN, because at least here in America, they will email you threatening to disconnect your internet😅
For VPN’s do not use the free ones. They don’t work. I’ve personally used NordVPN, but there are other ones out there like Surfshark, or ProtonVPN.
4k downloader
👆🏽Lets you download most things off of YouTube(as well as a couple other sites like TikTok). I say most things because they will not let you download those free movies(ex. Twilight) YouTube itself uploads onto its platform.
Occasionally someone will upload an old movie onto a private channel which you can download with no problems, but anything new or recent you won’t find on there.
You do not have to use a VPN to download videos from YouTube.
3. Resources:
Whatever you're trying to gif will probably be on the long side. So you're either going to need to trim it down to make a 2-3 second clip that you can then use to make your gif, or you can screencap your video.
Screencaping allows you to take a shot of each individual frame* which you can then use to make your gifs out of.
*I like to use anywhere between 40-90 frames per gif.
VLC
👆🏽This is a video player that lets you play your videos and create screencaps from them.
👆🏽This is a great post on how to screencap using VLC.
KMPlayer
👆🏽Is another video player/screencapping software, but I found their interface to be overly complicated
Clipchamp
👆🏽This lets you trim down your videos to create those 2-3-second clips. There are better video editing tools out there(like DaVinci Resolve), but if you have Windows for what it's worth, it’s simple and gets the job done 🤷🏽♀️
rPiracy
👆🏽Has links for torrents and things of that nature.
👆🏽This is a great post on how to make a basic gif using Photoshop.
👆🏽This is a great post on how to make a basic gif using Photopea.
👆🏽This user has a lot of tutorials so when you're ready to move onto more complicated gif making, use them as a resource.
4. Lastly, have patience with yourself.
GIF making is time-consuming and as I stated it takes practice. So don't sweat it too much and have fun🎉

So I just wanted to ask about this:
"Pilot Intro Animation: 100% complete (will be out in march)"
Because I don't think it has come out yet?
And I am excited for it.
No rush though!
I just really love Bonnytale! I love everyone's designs and ur descriptions of them and how magic, flowers (I love the flowers stuff), GB's, and/or stuff works in Bonnytale.
I think my favorite designs so far/right now in Bonnytale are Undyne, Sans and Paps and their GB's, Frisk and Chara, and Gaster! But the designs look great for everyone.
Been loving all the Bonnyale stuff u have released. A lot of them is very funny, pretty, cute, interesting, etc.
Bonnytale is just such a cool AU!
Loved the art u did for Distorttale I think, of Priest!Sans and Demon/Demon-Possessed Paps?; either way, that art looked creepy, dark, and cool.
That was some nice Killer art u did too. I love Dust more, but I do also love Killer a lot too!
Last but not least, I love ur "Undertale/DustTale: Dead Ringer" series so much! I have a lot to say about it, but I will probably save that for the YouTube comments of those videos for that series on YouTube.
I will say though; that that series is probably one of my favorite takes on DustTale so far, and I really love the idea of a Dust (and Phantom) winding up in a more pacifist timeline. Everyone's designs also look really cute, creepy, and nice (and stuff). I esp. love Frisk and Chara (I love how Frisk looks like a demon/horror movie child, while Chara just so looks so happy and sweet), Sans from the more pacifist timeline, Dust and Phantom (they are so, SO good), Paps, and Alphys (she is just so cute. And it seems like Dust might have a history with her in his timeline? Maybe. Might be reading too much into that. But I do really like Sans and Alphys stuff).
Excited for more of "Dead Ringer"! No rush though. I am excited for more, but like, I can wait.
I got more to say, but I save the "Dead Ringer" stuff for probably their YT videos, and any other stuff for reblogs and stuff.
Jajajsajsienhdxhwbs THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND WORDS FIRST OFF ALL
As for bonnytale, the animation trailer is 100% comeplete! But after some thought I think I should released the trailer at the same time I released the first beginning episode and that should come around…I’m not sure, hopefully this year though! Meanwhile I will upload short comics and junk about that au. I will have to change that date from March to something else as working on 2 projects has caused me a burn out, which brings to just working on one project a step at a time.
As for DeadRinger I am currently working on that and i should say the third episode should be out somewhere in early June, it is a longer episode and is catching up nicely. There should be 7 total episodes of that. Also Sans and Alphys relationship is a kind of relationship like Undyne and Papyrus, so Alphys tends to tell Sans a lot of this and Sans does the same with her as well.
Since I’ve graduated high school recently I now can focus my time on these projects more :D, along with other side aus like underhell (that I’m redoing designs and story lore bit) and distorttale (which I would get into later).
I thank you for your time in appreciating my works, that means a lot to me <3
These are small screenshot snippets from the Bonnytale trailer animation I’ve taken in April

Looking back on 2022, and a lot has happened this year for me! Both personally and channel-wise. I figure I reflect a bit on most of this year's videos. So here we go!
Kick-Ass | What It Means To Be a Loser
This was definitely a video style I wasn't used to doing at all, I basically saw it as an exercise in reviewing both a film and a comic. And honestly, this was a huge headache to get done because of the copyright bullshit I had to deal with. Literally rendered it like 8 different times because of that shit. And it wasn't just a money issue, getting hit with copyright and demonetization means it won't show up on people's feeds so it's important to me that each video has the potential to get out there.
The video's point: The movie was missing a huge element that made the comic at least satisfactory for me, and that was the consistent tone of the characters being downtrodden 'losers.' Another way to put it would be human. Our faults, our insecurities, and our flaws are what make us human, so that being part of the characters made them more relatable, thus more likeable. But the movie wiped the main characters of their human characteristics almost completely. I got into detail how that's the case in the video.
I did my best also emphasizing that I wasn't merely saying "movie different from comic, so movie bad." I don't even like the Kick-Ass comic that much, so I felt I was going with a less biased perspective. I even brought up examples where I found the film adaptations of some comics to be huge improvements (Scott Pilgrim will always be the shining example). Regardless, people in the comments still accused me of saying "movie different from comic, so movie bad" which is kind of annoying, but that's my fault for expecting better from typical YT comments.
Still, the video was surprisingly a hit! I'm extremely dumbfounded so many people still seem to give a shit about Kick-Ass. It kind of motivates me to make a new video comparing the sequel comic and movie, but I hate both, so I don't see myself really bothering for a while. Also one other good thing, making a video centered around a comic and/or movie is soooo much easier than a video game in regards to footage. I don't have to sift through hours and hours worth of gameplay to find a specific clip for visual context, I just remember part of the movie/comic and go there lol
No Paradise | No More Heroes 3 Analysis
Now THIS was a fucking nightmare. In a good way, mostly. A 4.5 hour analysis that took every bit of my goddamn being to write, capture, and edit. Recording all of my voice was also done in one session too, but I hope my exhaustion near the end didn't reflect my performance.
I loved talking about NMH3 extensively too. I was also extremely happy to find a lot of nuance and complexity within the madness of this game. With the help of a few friends and long conversations, of course!
The point of the video: Travis is in hell, and is doomed to spend an eternity in this hell he locked himself in all the way back in the original game. Having this in mind adds contextual sense to the previous games as well, which helps with the arguments I provide. Not that I claim to be objectively correct, the reason for this analysis was to get people thinking and talking about the game. I think if I wanted to prove ANYTHING, it's that NMH3 isn't as simple and "senseless" as a lot of people were claiming it was. And it doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Take it from me, an idiot.
I am extremely proud of how the video turned out. It might even be the best one I've done, but that's not to say I can't improve. I need to improve, and I'm trying to get better at this constantly. I picked up a lot of great editing skills while making this, and will pick up more as I go. And while I didn't upload a lot of videos this year . . . do you see how long this one was?! Idunno, I think this counts as like 6 separate uploads 🥸💀
The ONE feature I want to see in future run-gun games
This video I've actually had on my mind for a very long time, I just had to finally hunker down and make it a reality. I simply had a sneaking suspicion that a lot of indie devs might not be aware of an innovate design first seen in games like Alien Soldier or Contra Shattered Soldier, likely because those aren't the universally renown classics. I think I'm at least sort of right.
The point of the video: This is a "for your consideration" piece for indie devs planning to take on the run-n-gun genre with new games. I genuinely think this mechanic can take their future titles to the next level of feel-good gameplay!
Huntdown | Run-N-Gun Revolution
My closer for the year, another run-n-gun video I simply made for myself because I wanted to. Adrian Comeau, writer/community manager for Huntdown's dev team, randomly emailed me with some steam codes, presuming I was interested in trying the game out. And I'm glad he did, as I fell in love with nearly everything about Huntdown! It was also cool to interview Adrian to get further thoughts on the game.
The point of the video: Huntdown rocks and you're a fool if you haven't played it. It also has such a rich world coated in interesting characters. It helps that the game is fun to play and has an assortment of unique, challenging bosses all sprawling with personality.
So get yourself something nice for Christmas. Buy Huntdown on Steam. Or Switch. Or PS4. Or PS5. Or Xbox. It's probably on sale right now 🎅🎄🔫
So that's what I managed to do with my channel. I also did a video on Cuphead, but don't have too much to say as it was a very straightforward video. DLC good, but I'm ready for something new by MDHR.
I know I didn't upload a whole lot, but I'm happy with everything I put out. I feel like I need to take more time on these videos in order to further refine them properly. I have tons of ideas for new videos, and can't wait to make them a reality! But I also want to make sure they're of a standard I find satisfactory, while also raising said standards. I want to get better and better!
I hope all of you have enjoyed what I've been putting out, and are excited to see what else I have in store! Here's to 2023! 🎇🎆🚀

Okay so I know I’m still kinda new to this app & don’t have really any followers but I wanted to rant about FNaF or well a theory real quick. So I guess I should just get right into it; Duel Process Theory (a channel on Yt for those who don’t know) uploaded their first video which was a two hour long theory about FNaF to UCN. I’m gonna go ahead and just say that I believe this theory a lot more than I believe Mat Pats. The reason I believe DPTs theory more than I do Mat Pats is because I believe their evidence is a lot more solid and they were able to look at all the games and theory following the games after they had already been made, so they pretty much already had everything laid out for them. They just needed to find the missing pieces and fill in plot holes, as well as figure out what the other theorists got wrong, they also were able to look at everything, not just the games but the theories as well, from an outside perspective; and again after everything was already out there. Whereas other theorists like Mat Pat were trying to figure everything out as the games and books were being released.
The first point they made in the theory was that they believe C.C is Cassidy, and DPT provided pretty solid evidence and reasonings behind this. I’m not going to go into full detail, if you want to know all the details I recommend looking the video up on Yt and watching it. Two big pieces of evidence for this was one the logbook, and two the happiest day. Again I’m not going to go into detail because they explained it a lot better than I ever could, so you should just watch their video over it. And I know that this is honestly a pretty controversial take within the FNaF fandom but, honestly? I believe them, it makes no sense that one of the most important characters of the games wouldn’t have a name. Plus in the movie Cassidy has the exact same blonde shade of hair that Vanessa (who is Williams bio kid in the movie) has, plus Cassidy is wearing a striped shirt similar to the crying child in FNaF 4. Am I saying that Cassidy is one of William kids in the movie? No, but I am saying that there is a parallel there.
The second major point DPT made is that Mike is actually the vengeful spirit in UCN. Another hot take, but, I believe this one as well. As someone who’s grown up in a toxic environment I know that my older siblings are a lot more justice motivated even if they are in the wrong. DPTs evidence for this was the lines where Mike is repeating to his father, “I’m going to come find you,” in a very threatening way. The other evidence is William’s voice specifically calling out to Henry and Mike, the only two souls actually there. As well as the animatronics voice lines when Mike is talking through them. Again DPT explains this a lot better than me, so you should probably go watch their video.
So finally to the reason I’m talking about this on the internet right now, Game Theorists made a video talking about DPTs theory which usually isn’t a bad thing. I want to go ahead and say something real quickly here, I am a major fan of Game Theorists and I have been for a really long time, what I’m about to talk about is not from hatred or anything malicious; I’m just disappointed. When Game Theorists cover DPTs theory they didn’t cover most of what DPT talked about in their theory, which I know it was a two hour long video but they didn’t cover the major points DPT made and even said that Cassidy (C.C) being a missing child didn’t make sense because he was bit everyone saw that. Not even covering what DPT said about how in real life hospitals will often send people who’ve had they’re frontal lobes injured to rest at home. Game Theorists pointed out that we here the monitor flatlining but they completely dismissed that it doesn’t necessarily mean he died, but instead was taken off of it when he was moved from the hospital to his room. Game Theory also didn’t cover that one of the points DPT made was that William buried his son in the woods and used it as an alibi, saying that his son was missing too. Obviously that is just a speculation, but if that is what happened (and let’s just say it is) Cassidy would be missing to the public, thus making him one of the missing children. Another reason I’m disappointed in Game Theorists is because they didn’t seem like they were actually interested in the theory at all and were only using it as an advertisement for Mat Pats Lofi horror quest thing on Spotify, which Mat Pat even states himself that, that’s the only reason he’s there.
So In conclusion, Game Theorists used someone else’s theory to promote one of their projects and then swept it under the rug. This also brought to my attention that Mat Pat and the Game Theorists are too caught up in their own theories to really give any others a chance which is fine, but I’m still disappointed, and I believe this needs to be talked about more because this isn’t the first time they’ve talked about someone else’s theory just to rip it apart for any plot holes it may have.
If you have anything you want to add to this in the comments that’s fine but if you have have any questions about DPTs theory please go watch their video on YouTube, I know it’s two hours long but they have it broken down in segments so it’s easier to watch.

Today's Focus
ft. a Queen's Quest pose, so I threw in a pic of the stable's former & current leaders; respectively, Io Shirai and Utami Hayashishita
06.04.24 - I am back to work and it's going to be in the mid-80s (F) today so that means the AC here is blasting colder than a blizzard; hence the chunky sweater with the strappy sundress.
Work - Well, I took a day off so I'm going to be catching up on whatever is in there. I no longer have to deal with DDR's deposition issue, but I do still have to follow up on JJM's 14 defendants and work with SJC on the decade-old case that just has some movement to it. I was left some physical paperwork to deal with as well but that's mostly tracking down case files to put the documents into for posterity.
Background Noise - I am trying to watch a boatload of YT videos today, especially because some videos have been uploaded that are extremely interesting to me if the titles aren't clickbait.
I did 36 videos over my long weekend, but that would be a number I would love to do today alone.
Study - Okay it's Tuesday and I'm reading articles. I have a few essays and a bunch of news articles and I just want to read a lot today.
I think I did five different Wikis over the weekend, plus like five different random articles so at least I kept up my mind while I celebrated my anniversary.
Extras - Tuesday and I do need to clean the bathroom; today's is just the fixtures not the whole thing. I'm cooking a beef fried rice tonight (drat; I forgot to cook the rice yesterday) so hopefully it gives me leftovers because I need them. We go back to Kyuranger this week and I think there's only the 10 episodes to watch, with no movies or anything yet. We creep ever so slowly to finishing the animated version of The Tick as well. Mini-essay done; I'm working on the mini-essay for tomorrow because I have a feeling it might turn into a long one.

not in the fandom but self learning finnish too! gonna drop some of my resources in case anyone finds them useful
Started with the Aalto introductory course (probably too basic if you've already started, very nice to start from scratch) and good old Duolingo as well as Drops for vocabulary.
For textbooks also using suomi masteri as well as colloquial finnish (this one is just plain grammar, going very little by little using it as a backup explanation for grammar rules i encounter somewhere else)
As for a bit of website mix: clozemaster for some basic phrases, game interface so it makes it fun, lyricstraining for fill the gaps with finnish songs, using uusikielemme & finnishpod too. hinative when i have specific questions and journaly for uploading your writing and getting corrections (i'm not at that point yet but it's also nice to read some other people's writings)
For reading i found a page where you can read online some kids stories and i just put them through Lingq, also found a couple of Aku Ankka comics (haven't read them yet but as you can see i like hoarding resources). I also like to use the news that appear on Lingq or import my own random news/articles i find interesting by the tittle.
For video outside of youtube I've used the Yle Areena app/web. You got some shows you can watch (it's annoying that you can't watch the majority of them if you're not in Finland but ohwell there are some) as well as a very useful resource: the daily uutiset selkosuomeksi, daily easy news about 4mins long. Also Netflix/Prime etc shows or movies. There aren't many finnish ones but you can always watch animated movies, I've been watching Sherk 2 lately :)
For youtube, I have two groups. Videos specifically for learning the language and just random youtube videos in the language. For the learning ones, my favorite channels are EasyFinnish and KatChats Finnish, especial metion to Her Finland and Finnished too. For the second group I've just started consuming content so the only two I can recommend as for right now are Kaksi Äitiä and Lotta Liikanen. I made a playlist with content to watch recommended by youtube, mainly vlogs and lifestyle since I think they may be the most useful topics. I did put them through the Lingq audio transcript so I could follow what they were saying and take notes, but thats optional (I hate with all my being most yt videos not having the automatic cc on, it just makes my life much more difficult)
And yes I've been mentioning it through this but special mention for Lingq!! It's the only resource I've payed for lol but it's totally worth it imo. Lingq girly at heart.
I tried to make a logical list but!! sorry if it just seems like a bunch of links with no order, I just spent a lot of time looking for resources instead of actually studying lol. Someday I may do a proper post to have it all in one place but til this point it's just a bunch of links on my notion page :'D
so i was wondering what yall in the käärijä fandom, if youre learning finnish too, what materials are you using?
im using suomi masteri for uni class and sun suomi for self learning, as rec'd by a really nice lady at a bookstore. sometimes ill use the free to use materials from finnishpod101 too, but that gets overwhelming sometimes, and uusikielemme.fi, as rec'd by my finnish teacher and completely free to use
anyway, im trying to hoard resources so what are you guys using?
#welp this took a while#hope its useful for somebody#beestudies#learning finnish#resources#language learning

Resident Evil Village Villains as Youtubers Headcanons
Lady Dimitrescu → “Miss D Forever”
Miss D “covers” and original songs
even has an own music label
her comment sections mostly consist of “Wow! You sound exactly like Miss D!” / “You’re the best Miss D cover singer I’ve heard in my life!” / “Finally a modern singer who can capture that 20s jazz vibe! Bravo!” etc.
her music videos are mostly shot in Castle Dimitrescu
the maidens appear as backup dancers in her music videos. Their choreographies are always a sight to behold, but something about the way they smile thoughout their performances feels... off... as if they’re deeply scared of something and trying to hide it. Not that the viewers care.
Lady D loves the positive feedback she gets from her viewers. It’s not quite the same as touring with the Pallboys, but it’s close.
one of the things she likes most about her YT career is that she can reach and interact with fans from all over the world
thanks to the help of her daughters, she got used to the internet and Youtube rather quickly, but she still needs some help from time to time
Bela → “BelaBass” & “BelaBars”
the only one with 2 YT channels
uploads bass guitar instrumentals and -tutorials on BelaBass and horrorcore raps on BelaBars
people love her gloomy instrumentals and gritty yet poetic rap lyrics
sells her music under her mother’s label
her music videos are shot exclusively in the dungeon and wine cellar of Castle Dimitrescu. (”The blood in the cellar? That’s water, actually. It just looks like blood because of the lighting, I assure you...”)
provides the background music for Cassandra’s videos
Cassandra → “Cassandra la cazadora”
by far the nastiest YT channel
uploads videos of her hunting animals and people who got lost in the woods of the village... in gory detail.
because of the bad VHS quality of her videos, people think the “realistic murder scenes” are just the result of really good practical effects.
some people visit the places where she shot her videos out of curiosity and never return.
since Cassandra never shows the faces of her victims and edits their voices, it’s nearly impossible to identify them. The fact that her videos are all black-and-white doesn’t help either.
Daniela → “Dani’s Daily Dimisaster”
prank videos. Lots and lots of prank videos. And fail compilations.
the most active YT channel of the RE 8 villains (at least one upload every day)
no one is safe from her, not even her mother. The only exception is Miranda.
most of her pranks are harmless, but when she’s in a bad mood...
the maidens always put up with her bs, no matter how nasty it gets. Why? Well, even her worst “pranks” are preferable to what she does to you when you tell her to stop...
Donna & Angie → “Chromavoid”
art tutorials and home videos with some gardening vids sprinkled in between
Donna is great at explaining things and many of her videos could double as ASMRs, but most people watch her videos for Angie.
“You animated the doll so well! That’s the best CGI I’ve ever seen!” / “The way Angie moves is so fluid, it’s as if she’s actually alive!” / “The zombie actors in your gardening videos are awesome! That’s some damn good make-up/prosthetics right there!” Oh, if only they knew...
ultra-funny closed captions
occasionally, Donna also uploads horror let’s plays, and let me tell you one thing: this woman has ovaries of steel when it comes to horror games.
Angie’s commentaries & reactions = perfect meme material
“Face reveal? Ain’t gonna happen. Sorry.”
Moreau → “Ambassadeur de L’amour”
romance movie/novel recommendations
probably the most normal YT channel of the bunch
His videos may be rather minimalistic (think The Joy of Painting but with movie/novel reviews), but you can tell he’s having a blast with his recommendations
you wouldn’t believe how long he can talk about his favorite movies/novels. His shortest video is 35 minutes long, but he always stays on topic and is very pleasant to listen to.
he also engages in lengthy and deep discussions with his viewers
wholesome comment sections ❤ (except for the few jerks who feel the need to point out how “ugly” Moreau looks)
Heisenberg → “EISENBURG™ - Castle of Iron”
DIY videos and let’s plays
oh, and don’t forget the videos he uploads when he’s drunk.
Steampunk Aesthetic™
everything in his videos is over the top: the intro, the music, the camera work, his gameplay... e v e r y t h i n g . Which makes his videos extremely fun to watch. Most of his subscribers come for the DIY videos and stay for Karl’s hammy antics.
expect LOTS of cussing, especially in his let’s play videos. (seriously, if you censored every swear word in his let’s plays, you’d end up with more beeps than actual commentary)
sometimes he lets his soldiers have cameos in his videos, but never Sturm. Because Sturm is a noisy [CENSORED] who doesn’t know how to behave.
Miranda → “Mother Miranda’s Wisdom”
ASMR videos and guided meditations
some of her videos have a weird effect on the viewer/listener: calming, but not quite. There’s that other feeling. You can’t put your finger on what that feeling is, but it’s unnerving. As if someone was trying to get into your head while telling you that there is nothing to worry about.
sometimes you could swear you faintly heard someone groan or even scream in her videos. “Do not be afraid. The screaming will cease. All you have to do is listen to my voice...”
in her video descriptions, Miranda advertises retreats and churches where you can sign up for her cult religion. Those who take her offer never return. Once they join Miranda, they never want to leave. They have found a new family. A new purpose. At least that’s what Miranda says...
“Glory to Mother Miranda.”

FUN WAYS TO LEARN A LANGUAGE📝☁️
[like for future reference/motivation]
learning a language can be a bit challenging sometimes, that’s why today i wanted to share with you few ways to have a fun learning experience instead of reading textbooks for hours.
1️⃣ video games: change the language of the games you like to play into your target language. for example, my favorite game to play in chinese and learn at the same time is animal crossing new horizons because it features useful and daily life vocabulary! (+that game is so calming i love it so much)
2️⃣ watch your favorite movie or tv show subbed or dubbed in your target language. the most efficient way would be to watch something you already know by heart but in your target language + the subs in your target language as well! this is what i call the winning combo! (if you are a beginner watch cartoons! can easily be found on yt or any other platforms depending on the language)
3️⃣ listen to music in your target language and try to sing along while reading the lyrics!
4️⃣ you probably spend a lot of time on your phone so why not change your phone language into your target language?
5️⃣ follow content creators that speak your target language: the best would be to find youtubers because you can listen to native people speaking, learn fun things with them but also relax at the same time! (now a lot of creators upload subtitles too)
HOPE IT HELPS! HAVE FUN LEARNING🙌🏻📝

TRIANGLE OF SADNESS TRAILER
Apologies if this has been discussed and I missed it but there’s a trailer for the movie “TRIANGLE OF SADNESS” on the yt channel NEON that features a woman v* in its thumbnail, as well as glimpses of several people v* in the last third (1/3) of the trailer itself (visuals only).
I’m not sure how likely it is it’ll show up on anyone’s explore page, unless you watch a lot of movie trailers, but I think you can block yt channels. I’m not sure if that blocks their content from showing up on your feed though. Its currently the second most recent video on the channel itself (one month after it was first uploaded)
It’s set to release in October so I imagine they’ll be running more promo videos soon, stay safe!

I just finished the Senki Block which includes:
1)Saber Special Chapter:OT4 vibes this ep were great, quite large.
Then there's whatever the hell was happenning beteeen Touma and Zox.
My favorite bit:
"Have you gone insane?"
"Yes, we have"
Also Orihime!Touma x Hikoboshi!Kento.
2)Zenkaiger episode 20:the Shindais really mesh better with the Zenkaiger cast.
They work better as the Comically Serious rather than whatever the hell sorta roll they had in Saber since Ryoga's introduction.
Reika/Magine FTW.
3)SUPER HEROOOOOOOO SENNKIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!:It was a much better watch this time, because I downloaded it rather than watching on Kissasian, where it was uploaded with the audio of the aid for the blind version.
I did not enjoy that it ignored the Special Chapter and Zenkai Ep 20, acting like the Riders didn't meet Zox and the Shindais didn't meet the Zenkaigers.
Kento should have worked alongside Red Racer in the Final battle, to show he did interact with the Carrangers when he was sucked into their book.
Sayonara, Onodera Shotaro-Sensei.
May the Riders always look to you for Guidance.
It was good to see the Zenkaigers again.
I've missed them, so even if this was something from the past that I've already seen for them, it was nice.
I'll only see them next in DonBrothers VS Zenkaiger.
4)Kamen Rider Revice:The Movie(prologue):not a bad watch.
It helped me Believe that I would enjoy Revice once I'm done with Saber.
Now, Onward to the last 9 episodes of Saber!
1- Special Chapter was a hoot from start to finish. The shenanigans was sublime XD It was also some much needed comedy right before shit went down in the Saber main plot.
Also, Rintaro being Kento's inflatable cow...
KenTouma was probably the best part of the episode... or was it ShuichiRyo? Sometimes I can't tell anymore. One of them posted a video on Tiktok where they were in costume but not on set, and they were... uh, very affectionate.
There were also these videos on Toei's YT for the tie-in with Superhero Senki where the Saber cast were competing against each other in a laser tag-type game. Ryo Aoki captained one of the teams and when he named Shuichiro for his first pick, Shuichiro squealed and ran at him to glomp him. It was wonderfully gay of them.
2- Yeah, the Shindai sibs were definitely way better in the Zenkaiger crossover in their own show. Ken Shonozaki clearly had a lot fun playing off of the Zenkai cast's shenanigans, and Angela Mei's enthusiasm for Magine was self-evident.
3- Well, the Special Chapter and the Zenkaiger episode were always meant to be their own thing, not really tying into Senki. Most of the Spring crossover specials, back when they were a thing, were like that too- none of them really tied in to the Taisen films.
Yeah, it was a little disappointing that they didn't show what happened to Kento after he got sucked into the Carranger book... though that already had some other stories mixed in as well- Drive and Black, iirc. I'd like to think he was actually in that other world where he, Luna and Touma all grew up together, and where his dad was alive- which would explain his resistance to Touma returning things to the "normal" world. (Also, Ryo was so damned handsome in that sequence... I was simping the whole time)
Tbf, it also wasn't shown what happened to the other Zenkaigers aside from Kaito after they disappeared either. And Zox just shows up out of nowhere, lmao.
Honestly them including Ishinomori-senshu in this movie was kind of a brilliant move, and seeing his interactions with Touma and Hongou-san made me cry a little, ngl.
Also. Saber roll call scene. Fuck me, why don't they do this in Rider more often. It was amazing.
4- I didn't actually watch the Revice short movie, but from what I gathered it's not canon to the show because it and the first episode contradict each other in terms of how Ikki got his powers.
