I bloody love going to Rocky Horror. Where else will you have an audience of elderly couples who have been fans since the 70s next to someone in a full on fursuit next to someone with their bare naked arse out just like. Hanging out in the same queue for the bar. It’s so safe and chill and everyone is welcome no matter what their comfort zone.

Anyway Jason Donovan was Frank tonight and he was bloody fantastic and brought some fun stuff to the character. Never thought seeing Joseph of the Technicolor dreamcoat doing a clumsy forwards roll in platform heels and fishnets would be the highlight of my Friday night but here we are and I can’t stop smiling.

Can't believe I found another Villain to Kill reader! Totally agree with your points. The story is lackluster but there's something still so alluring about it that i'm still reading and enjoying it.

Obsessed with how we're all saying the same thing. Is the plot great? No. Is the world building good? It's terrible. Are the characters complex? Not at all. It doesn't have any actively shitty stuff like bad female characters or uncomfortable narratives but it doesn't have any great ones either. But There Is Something About It That Compels You. And not just keeps you reading but makes you actively fond of it. Like your loser childhood friend who hasn't done much with their life but who you still have warm feelings for.

Cassian is my friend from high school who I meet up with sometimes and although he's still the person I wasn't proud of being back then the good memories are good enough to leave you catching lunch with him every so often. Also he's gay now and we're really proud of him.
