so. where would YOU have me start on learning how moto gp works. i don't mean shipping. i will go left field with that shit myself, hell, i'm out here in my georgenando canoe. but understanding the sport.

ok so.

I personally got into MotoGP through my best friend who didn't explain a lot to me, just told me to try and get it (he's bad at explaining things)

I tried to read about it on wikipedia first, just to get a general idea of the sport and you know, teams and riders.

I think I can break something down for you, but it's mainly the structure of the sport itself rather than it's story, for that you can ask or read @muxas-world blog because that's where I at first got infos here on tumblr.

SO.

The weekend is structured on three days like F1, we got one Free Practice on Friday and then a Pre-Qualifying session called Practice in which the ten fastest gain direct access to Q2 on Saturday.

Saturday has another round of Free Practice and then Quali, divided in Q1 where the riders out the top ten on the previous day fight for the first two position to access Q2 with the other ten, then it's down to the fastest. After this there's ALWAYS the sprint, unless particularly strange scenarios (extreme weather) and it gives circa half the points of a normal race, it's fully valid for the championship and it DOESN'T determine the day after's grid, it stays the same as the first one.

On Sunday we race. There's no mandatory pit stops in MotoGP, unless it's raining and riders gotta switch to a wet bike, which is very funny cause you see these crazy guys hopping from a bike to another and try to regain positions.

Teams can have wildcards during the season, meaning riders (usually test riders) who replace one of the two official riders for an ENTIRE WEEKEND, not like F1 where it's usually just FP1, and this year they changed rules so that only certain teams can have wildcards, Ducati is completely excluded by it because they're 4 teams combined (as in Ducati gives engine to 4 teams: Ducati Lenovo and Pramac which use a 2024 bike, Gresini and VR46 which use a 2023 bike) and honeslty there was another reason but I currently am fighting sleep to answer you and can't remember

Points are assigned from the 1st to the 15th place, one additional point for the fast lap.

Tows, crashes and show are much more likely to be than in F1, especially crashes are far more frequent, obviously not cause riders are bad, but because it's easier to loose a bike going 360km/h ratehr than a car at that same speed.

Also, here Moto2 and Moto3 hold a higher value than F2 and F3 do in the Formula 1 concept of it all, championships won in those classes ARE COUNTED as championships, so Vale for example, a 9 time World Champion IS NOT 9 times MotoGP world champion, 9 in the championship won together in MotoGP and what back then was 125/250cc (currently Moto 3 and 2, actually with even more cc)

It's important to watch these series cause they really give you and insight on A. how actually crazy these guys are B. how many talents there are out there

Hi! Im someone who has been in the wcrp community for a few years now. Ive tried and failed to host my own servers but I can never seem to keep people interested/activity dies shortly after opening. I know you guys have been running this one for a while now so I was wondering if you had any advice for doing something like this?

Hello there! I compiled up some opinions from our staff team and in general some advice we'd give is; Unique feel to draw people in:

With our TTRPG aspects, custom dice-sysytems & singular clan roleplay we tend to get more heads poking around to just see how our server is run different than others. Custom emojis, special events, character tags made from the carl-bot & our premade character sheets are a big draw! I find that people enjoy getting to join in on a community that feels like getting involved in the fandom in a whole different way, advertising and highlighting what makes your rp special is my advice for that! ( Being partnered with different WCRP servers on discord especially clans united does wonders for advertising! )

Organization & Systems to make them stay:

SOTC has a lot of different systems behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly and to ensure our members can just soley focus on their own characters and roleplay. For example, we have character ages auto-updated on our website, different backends to keep track of character's blessings, skills, their litters and mentors... ect!

It's also important to have your information laid out in a way that's informative and not overly exhaustive, our website has a lot of information listed out on it, so we have a system of "buddies" (in-server helpers) to help out members with more direct questions on oorp and irp rules! Overall, just ensuring that you're ready to get people started and going as soon as you open is a good way to do it. ( A helpful and active staff goes a long way to ensure this )

Lastly, luck honestly has a lot to do with it. Even if you have all these things, it never guarantees that people will find and stick around.. I hope this was helpful and best of luck to you on making your own wcrp <33! - Lead Jude & SOTC staff

I personally headcanon Aegon's Conquest as being soley Visenya's idea ...she was the oldest and smartest and cared the most about ruling and maintaining power. The only reason she wasn't the whole damn queen is because she knew in the seven kingdoms it had to be a dude for the time period and general rancid vibes. What is the ninjago TCG?

The Ninjago TCG is a trading card game developed in 2016. The basic rules are simple: You and your opponent place character cards right side up for you one after the other on a 3x3 or 4x4 field. Every time opposing cards are next to each other, a duel begins. Each card has 4 Skillnumbers. The card with the higher number wins. The wining player may turn the opponents card in their direction. The player with the most cards wins.

ABOUT PARK YEONJIN :

park yeonjin in present era works as a weatherwoman. well known, established, renowned. wealthy, classy, and elegant. has a young daughter whom she dotes on and a husband she couldn't be happier to have. her life is sparkling and clean and everything a person could want. but she hides an ugly past and wears a mask that has been super - glued on for the sake of blending into society. park yeonjin as a teenager was the devil incarnate, taking advantage of her mother's wealth, power, and influence to dish out violence to whomever she wanted to. yeonjin cared about nobody and dealt with her boredom in cruel, unorthodox manners. with a small group of friends who followed her every step, she terrorized her targets at school to do her bidding ( and to simply provide herself with entertainment ). if anyone knew, they wouldn't say it. if anyone dared to tell on her, they would regret it. park yeonjin always got her way.

although her cohorts had been with her for most activities, she hides the truth of one of their victims — she was the cause of yoon sohee's death, of which had been ruled a suicide.

as an adult, yeonjin had grown more skillful at hiding her true self and presents herself as the charming, kind wife and philanthropist. even with her position at the weather channel, she exploits younger assistants to write her scripts for her and uses fear to maintain control over younger, ambitious co - workers seeking to replace her.

her body count is one and a half, but that's only if we're counting literal deaths. she's snuffed out far more spirits than that.

HOW TO WRITE WITH YEONJIN:

your muse would never know that she was a bully in high school. your muse would never know that she killed someone in high school or that she nearly killed someone as an adult. yeonjin is an expert at acting and playing a role. she's charming, funny, gentle, down - to - earth. she would be a good friend at first. she's incredibly fake though so it would make sense for your muse to be put off by it or sense that something is off. she could've been an enemy during high school or college or even during her early career days but in a ' shielded ' manner so it's not so scandalous as being labelled a bully. yeonjin also has connections in high places, mostly due to her mom, so that's an option. anything could work tbh !

I do not get it. (Also there is a contradiction... a hating achive in which hate is getting deleated? April,april?)

The former generation of anti gruvians had to correct and protect themselves from accusations which saw them only as "haters/ as unhappy people, as trolls who had nothing better to do, than to spread negativity". We had to explain the difference between our analysis and "hate speech" (which was going around back then as a global internet issue) which gave our remarks/posts an additional value than just hating the fav canon ship of fairytail/ of other shippers ("to attack their feelings/happiness"), which lead to our most hated discussion whether fantasy media is influencing the real world or not and whether it should therefore fallow its realistic standarts/rules. We were taken seriously even by some gruvia shippers because we were not just bashing a fictional concept but explaining Why! we as human beings with experiences or a healthy world view cannot tolerate the messages portrayed in "gruvia". Our legitimation was based on this.

I noticed that the internet world creates people who as long as they feel safe enough or who can claim a successful aganda ( which was successful in the past) want "to play activists" and that My "defense went through post" was recently getting attention again.

And I feel the urge to write this reminder / give the historial context which lead to this post back then it was important since anti gruvians were blocked and demonized by stigmas like " being an anti" "a hater", and therefore everything we wrote had not to be taken seriously or even worse there were blogs dedicated to "Warn against us" and "which highly recommanded others to blacklist us/ even suggesting to report certain blogs to tumblr to get them blocked for good", "calling all our content hate blogs/anti blogs/ship war blogs", also our main blogs. (There were even tutorials around showing step by step guides "how to do it")

I do not wish that my "defense went through post" will be used as false safety that actually hating and bashing gruvia (which is ok since it is an fictional construct without feelings as long as humans are not getting attacked) will be safe.

Always remember that what you publish will be an expression of your character, can be used against you or your ship community you love (grayza and graylu fandoms were attacked as penalty due to some shippers which were also outspoken antigruvians). And that it is also true that if you spend too much time on things you dislike without getting any empowerment through it/higher purpose/validation after irritation/ steam release, it can also affect you negatively, also which kind of language you are using frequently will shape your habbits, your self image and image in general.

In case, (which at this starting point cannot be known) this is just another attempt to let anti gruvians look like "haters", to creat an opportunity to discredit their content or former content... Don't.

Everyone is soley responsible for their own posts (content, language usage, additional value/spam) and this attempt would not be successful. The topics discussed here are bulletproof and their credibility would not change based on single outliners "using hate speech language".

TW: SA and child trafficking

The answer “the church can’t call out abuse or racism”is WAY MORE ACCURATE than we all realize.

So, back in ye olde times, many European Christian’s wanted to make pilgrimages to Jerusalem and various other sacred sites in Palestine (tomb of Jesus, Mt. Olive etc.) but bandits were a really freaking problem, and since these were pilgrims, they didn’t carry much in terms of security. So a Frenchman by the name Hughes de Paynes and his closest friends and family members found an order of knights, called the poor man’s knights. They would act as hired security and muscle, and escort Europeans across “The Holy Lands”. Now these fellows had a vow, WE DON’T WANT MONEY. No seriously, they were a non-profit, and any funds they received would be sent back and put into a treasury that was SOLEY used for maintaining gear and paying settlements to the knights families if they died along the way. So this starts to catch some serious wind, and before long, the pope started supporting them in the only way popes really could. He blessed them, anointed them and said that the knights no longer had to pay taxes. (Note: I’m fairly certain that’s the reason why it’s a rule that churches dont pay taxes, the tradition of them being non-profit started from these guys. But don’t QUOTE me on that) Anywhosies, time goes on and the knights get more and more followers and they’re soon spread across Europe, and they are hoarding wealth, so much so that since they can’t pay it back, they start to use bonds and promises of credit in their dealings. THAT’S RIGHT! These peeps created a prototype banking system in Europe! Additionally, they receive the support of the current ruler of Jerusalem and set up a headquarters in the city section called Temple Mount, this is where Solomon’s temple was built. And they receive an honorary title that would spread like wildfire and last til this day. *Drum roll* the Knights of Temple Mount, later shortened to Knights Templar. So as time goes on, the Catholic Church realizes it made a bit of an oops (you’re shocked, I’m sure) because the knights are receiving more love and devotion than the church itself. So the new pope, when he rolls around decides he doesn’t like these guys, but he can’t do anything to condemn them. However, he wouldn’t have to worry, as the other big thing to do in Europe was watch France and England fight. A tradition that survives today in modern Futból. So the French ruler, one Philip lé Faire, petitions the Templars to fund their war against England since they have more money than literally all of Europe combined. The Templars say no, they’re not a fighting force and are non-militaristic (Oh, my poor sweet, summer child. If only you knew… this was all before the crusades BTW). Philip is unhappy now, and so he goes to the pope and tells him, AND THIS IS WHERE THE THING COMES IN, “The Knight Commander of the Templars is a practicing homosexual.” Welp, there it is, that’s all the pope needed. He orders the arrest and trial of every major commander, finds the ones he hates, accuses them of being gay, and kills them. Replaces them with officers that he directly approves of, and brings the whole order under the banner of the Catholic Church. The rest, as they say, is history. The Templars go on to lead campaigns to “purge the holy land” as well as settle themselves in England, which I’m fairly certain is also what started the christianization of most Danish and Saxon religions.

So, YES! Racism between the French and the English and the Catholic Church being greedy and abusing its power is what stated the HEAVY persecution of homosexuality more than literally ANY OTHER SIN. That and being partnered with the idea that the church partook in a “righteous” version of said sins: murder? “purging heretics”. Theft? “Generous tithing”. Child labor and trafficking? “Conscription”. It’s a disease.

Now, I hope I dont come across as mansplaining during all of that. The truth is, I am a Christian. And I don’t say that to come across as a performative ally or “one of the good ones”. I say all of this because I believe the church has lost its purpose and its way. We used to help people, not belittle them for differences. I want to see that changed, and I don’t know how else to start that than by presenting the truth as I understand it, because that’s the only way to open dialogue and change. Yesterday, I saw a post that said "You can't argue that Starks have the moral highground on Targaryens just because their conquests happened longer ago, without being pro-monarchist." Which, along with being plain wrong and being the post that made me finally decide that I should take a break from this fandom, is also good old strawmanning.

I have never seen anyone argue that Starks had a highground about their conquests, only about what kind of rulers they became afterwards. It's also important to realise that they didn't use medieval-fantasy nukes, try to subjugate an entire continent, or have an ideology so supremacist that they began routinely practicing sibling incest.

The best way to put it is; it's not that Starks have a moral highground when it comes to conquest, it's that Targs have the moral lowground.

Right? No one ever says the First Men were justified in their wars against the Children of the Forest. No one says that. It also wasn't even a conquest in the same way. They warred for centuries before they agreed to a peace. They coexisted together for thousands of years before the Andals showed up. The ancestors of the Starks of course aren't justified in starting a war with the people's just living on that land, but they stopped fighting not because they convinced the Children to bend the knee, they agreed to a peace treaty.

The Targaryeans used flying weapons of mass destruction to conquest a land that they had already been living in for generations at that point. Their need for the kingdoms was out of greed and nothing more. They demanded that people bend the knee or burn, when the ancestors of the Starks made peace with the Children and it wasn't until the Andals showed up that they were pushed North, which wasn't something the Starks did. Since the First Men were ALSO pushed North by the Andal invasion.

It is insane to me that people think we justify the Starks actions from at the minimum, twelve thousand years before the start of the series, when Aegons Conquest was only three hundred years before the start of the series.

There is a big difference in defending the Starks right to rule the North, when our judgment is based off of eight thousand years of them ruling as Kings in the North and how they did so successfully the entire time. How people in the North have always trusted the Starks to protect them, and STILL DO considering Neds murder was the tipping point leading the North to declare Robb Stark the King in the North. No one is looking to the Targaryeans to protect them like that, they only vouge for then as the "rightful rulers" soley on the basis that they sat the Iron Throne before.

The Starks are judged on how their actions 12 thousand years ago changed after their peace treaty, and how their actions also in The Long Night pushed them as the ones trusted to take care of the people.

No one trusts the Targaryeans to take care of the people, they only push for them because of their "bloodright". At the point Robb is crowned, he had no bloodright to a crown anymore because it was long since given up. He was crowned, because as a Stark, the North trusted in him to lead them to victory and saftey.

No supporter has ever trusted the Targaryeans in the same way, the same degree, or for the same reasons people trust the Starks.

The Starks, or the ancient ancestors that one day became the Starks, were not in the right starting a war with the Children of the Forest. But, they made peace, lived in prosperity, worked together to end the Long Night and protect the realm by making the Wall, and it waasn't until the Andals showed up and pushed the Children and the First Men North that the Children left beyond the Wall entierly.

The two conquests are not even remotely comparable. The Starks have thus since proved that they grew from those days, and are as good and honourable as rulers as highborns could get. The Targaryeans conquested out of greed, and never grew passed that even now.

People trust the Starks, and they don't trust the Targaryeans but their fans are too afraid to answer the question as to why.

I'm pretty open to most ships! Others I'm not sold on. Strella for instance I'm not usually a fan of, but if you manage to give a pleasant dynamic with a ship, even I'm not a huge fan of it in general I'm most likely gonna be open to having my muses reciprocate. So if I like the chemistry we end up having and you do too, then all's good ship wise.

This is gonna be a full Multiverse thing, so we can have multiple things going, even with the same characters, just make that clear for me.

Please be patient! it will likely take a while for me to get back on replying to somethings and I often have a lot going on, so please don't spam stuff, it will stress me out or annoy me which won't make me want to rush it out.

This is an 18+ blog, so I'm fine getting rough and dirty if you want, though you might have to be a bit heavy handed making that clear in some cases, I'm bad at reading context clues XP Though that leads to the next rule.
