out of all the references her style resembles oh haewon the most. xin tends to dance sharply, she hits every beat and every move on time but none of it comes from feeling the music. only being able to hear out of one ear when performing, xin spends most of her brain power trying to track the music and parallel all moves to any hidden beats she can’t hear. she lacks a lot of control, tends to have wide arms and spacing issues and often lets her mouth hang open as she dances. her wrists and ankles are loose and fingers tend to be stiff. her expressions are rehearsed, conjured in the mirror of practices based off the way she’s seen her idols perform. don’t be surprised if most of her ‘off camera’ time is spent looking at the floor, gliding from member to member to keep her spacing and time, though she tries to make up for it when its her part. though she lacks control, her lines are always straight, her posture is always tall and she often has the expression as if she’s holding her breath, only for it to be proven wrong when her singing comes out un-wavered by her deliberate movements. 

often ridiculed for her lack of stage presence and stern facials, xin finds it hard to focus on everything at once when performing. she often takes her cochlear out before stages, making it easier to hone in on the music in her other ear. relying heavily on her groupmates, xin takes a lot of time after performances to study her and her members fancams. she learns covers of her favorite idol’s songs to practice expressions, even though she tends to forget them anyways.

He has been dating reader for awhile but she hates being infront of any camera, and has pretty bad self esteem/hates how she looks qnd especially in photos. Has not even taken photos/or lets anyone take photos for years. But he wants to make her his muse because he loves looking at her because he thinks she’s so pretty :(

ʚɞ nerd!rafe who just wants to show the whole world how perfect and beautiful you are in his eyes. it wasn’t just about the project for school—it was about you, how you couldn’t see your own beauty. because, whenever he looks at you, he sees a beauty that deserves to be shown. and he simply wants to capture it. “you deserve to be seen how i see you,” he would say, his voice full of affection. “you’re so pretty.”

ʚɞ nerd!rafe who will keep asking you to take pictures of you—to a point where you’re just getting irritated—but how can you be irritated by such a cute little nerd like him? your perfect nerdy boyfriend with his cute glasses, soft grin and the way he’d bite his lip nervously when he asked. his eagerness was endearing, even if you hated the thought of being in front of the camera.

ʚɞ nerd!rafe who will take matters into his own hands, and decides to sneak little candid photos of you. without you noticing, obviously. you’re looking at a painting? he’s holding his camera ready from afar. you’re cooking him dinner? already a picture on his camera. you’re at the beach? he’s already snapped a few pictures of your face, and some more for his own eyes. you’re smiling with your friends? he’s got fifteen pictures. he would capture you in a moment that was pure, unguarded and beautiful.

ʚɞ nerd!rafe who made his project in the form of a scrap book—still a rough draft, but it’s a beginning. he’d definitely forget that you were coming over and forgot to clean up his desk. so when you saw the book, you were curious as to what it was. as you’re flipping through the pages, you feel a lump in your throat. in every photo, you looked so peaceful. each picture seemed to radiate a different kind of beauty, a beauty you couldn’t see in the mirror.

ʚɞ nerd!rafe who writes little notes on the pages: ‘…the most inspiring person i know..,’ ‘she’s perfect in ways i can’t explain,’ ‘…’. it’s clear he doesn’t just love you; he adores you. you’re his muse, and he sees something in you that no one else can.

ʚɞ nerd!rafe who will forget that his project is on his desk when you’re coming over at his house. once he sees that you’re looking through his project, tears are welling up in your eyes. how can someone be this cute but so annoying? he tries to talk himself out of the mess he created. the top of his ears are tinged in pink as you grab his face and give him big smooches.

...Not gonna lie, I've been re-examining a lot of things as of lately in regards to past IC events, and I honestly get the sense that the reason Vivian feels so uncomfortable with being called a 'lesbian' or having her relationship be labelled as a 'lesbian relationship' is because she feels it not only denies her lack of monosexuality outright/reinforces the idea of monosexism, but erases her pansexuality entirely. Now, for some sapphic women, they do not mind using the term 'lesbian' to refer to themselves even if they don't fit completely inside that box and seriously do not find this to be such a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but for Vivian, well... receiving the assurance she is indeed a lesbian upon expressing her insecurity over her queerness not being monosexual brings her much discomfort, for deep down inside, she knows that she will never be attracted to just a single gender her whole entire life.

Of course, what manages to complicate things even further is her hypersexuality, which more often than not leads to intrusive sexual thoughts she would end up feeling guilty over, hence why she does not want to necessarily be told she's a lesbian during moments where she doubts her capacity to be a good lover. Then again, we also have to remember that not only is Vivian young, she by natural default has no prior experience to dating anyone before entering a relationship with whoever she is shipped with, so there will inevitably be moments where she feels like she is missing out on relationships with other genders regardless of whether she is with a woman, man, or gender queer person.

Due to this, there will be times where she'll experience profound sadness and go through phases of vague mourning, especially because she's still young and didn't yet have a chance to experiment with her sexuality enough to get everything out of her own system, something that most non-monosexual women who have only dated men/women might experience. Rather than a feeling of dissatisfaction, however, it's more so Vivian coping with the duality of wanting to stay committed in her long term relationship yet also wondering what things would be like with someone of a different gender... a curiosity that often comes and goes like the passing tide.

Either way, I believe Vivian's unfortunate habit of comparing herself to lesbians stems from not only her hypersexual dilemma, but monosexism and the biphobia/panphobia that is rampant within online spaces, which could be seen as recently as this thread (WARNING: the link contains biphobia, so if you are sensitive to such matters, PLEASE DO NOT CLICK IT). Honestly, upon having seen how vile lesbians and other monosexuals can be towards bisexuals and pansexuals, it explains why Vivian heavily leans more towards men in her attraction, is convinced Judith is somehow the 'only woman' for her, and has a lot of hangups around dating women in general, like for instance, how she thinks she would not be able to love a woman the same way a lesbian allegedly could.

Why, I imagine she is hesitant to even disclose her true sexuality to others out of the innate paranoia it won't be understood or accepted; therefore, she would usually bite her tongue instead of pulling a 'Actually, I identify as pansexual' moment. Basically, though, Vivian hasn't yet reached a point where she is confident in her sexuality and would rather play up her whole '2D-obsessed' shtick than openly acknowledge her queerness; after all, there's really no telling what people would do upon having access to that information.
