a  witness  protection  couple??  like  they  could  be  total  strangers,  exes,  friends,  ect.  but  they  both  could  have  witnessed  a  crime  (  that  could  or  could  not  be  related!  )  so  they  get  paired  in  witness  protection,  and  living  far  from  what  they  could  remember  about  their  old  lives.  having  new  identities  and  given  certain  restrictions.  bonus  points  if  it's  and  older  pairing.

set in northern italy during a particularly hot summer, freshly twenty-one year old muse a is spending her vacation at her family's villa. her father is an american professor, who invites muse b, a graduate student, to assist him for the summer. muse b was not expecting his professor's daughter to be a troublemaking college girl lounging around the villa in the tiniest of dresses at all times. he puts his walls up at first, refusing to get distracted by her sensual, alluring nature, but his plan fails one particular afternoon. the two spend the summer sneaking around muse a's parents. they ride bikes to the nearby lake, jumping into the cold water without any clothes on. they fuck each other in just about every location in and out of the villa, always returning to the kitchen for a fresh glass of juice. what muse a doesn't know is that muse b has someone waiting for him back in the states. she's under the impression that their relationship will be the exact same once the summer's over. i'm envisioning two playful muses who are falling in love but pretending they aren't. they're always sun kissed from the intense summer sun, yet they hardly seek shade in the house. they sit outside and feed each other fruit while muse a's parents remain oblivious. they make plans for their future outside of the summer despite how different their lives are.

Wanted plots based off of rom-coms:

10 things I hate about you: muse a, the badass, was paid to date muse b, the hard headed and scary one that doesn’t date, so that the person that hired them could take out their sibling. Lots of ups and downs with muse b trying to resist muse a’s attempts at charming them and then inevitably giving in. Could even mix in the part where muse b finds out the truth for some extra angst!!

The wedding date: muse a’s sibling is getting married and so muse a hires muse b, an escort, to accompany them home for the wedding. It’s the first time muse a has been home since their fiancé broke things off with them and muse a wants to put on a show that they’re okay and not still caught up on what happened. Muse b charms her and her family and they fall for each other, and her family opens up about certain family secrets that muse a didn’t know before. Cue the drama of muse a being upset that muse b found out before she did and let the angst unfold!!

Going the distance: muse a meets muse b while muse b is in town for a few months for an internship. They vow not to make it anything serious since muse b isn’t permanently there but when muse b’s internship is over, muse a confesses their feelings and the two agree to do long distance. Just give me the ups and downs of long distance!! One trying to find a job where the other is, the late night phone calls, the quick trips, and the universe working against them.

The proposal: muse a is on the verge of getting deported and muse b, her assistant, makes a deal with them to marry them in order for them to get their green card so that they can stay in the states. The downside? The two of them hate each other and muse a knows nothing about muse b. In an attempt to get to know them better, they go home with them over the weekend and in between the fighting with each other and the family, they fall for each other.

27 dresses: muse a is always the bridesmaid for all of her friends and muse b is the opposite. They hate weddings, despite being a writer for weddings due to their own fiancé cheating on them years before. Muse b is trying to find an out in their career so that they can take it in a different direction other than weddings and while trying to come up with a way to do so, muse a leaves their planner behind in a shared taxi/uber with muse b, in which muse b discovers how many times muse a has been in a wedding. So, muse b takes the story to their boss and is given this one chance to make a story better than the ones they write for weddings. Muse A’s sister is getting married and muse b uses that as an excuse to get closer to get their story and in the midst of it all, they fall for her. Before they can take back the story or tell muse a about it, it’s published and they’re completely embarrassed. Cue angst and feelings!!

He can overhear muse a talking to a co-worker at the coffee shop, and he prepositions her with an irresistible offer. A lot of money, a place to stay for a year after the baby is born, and everything paid for.

They can slowly start falling in love etc. like please!!!

Your muse is a trophy wife that's being neglected by her husband. She lives in a mansion with all the money she might need, but she's alone. Her husband is always working, always away, usually coming back home with a sweet smell of perfume clinging to his skin and if she found lipstick stains in the collars of his shirts she never asked about them. She goes to brunches and luncheons, goes out shopping, and indulges in wine at noon way too often. She's depressed and unloved and feeling like she's old and no longer attractive.

Enter my muse, who's a young man in his early 20s, back home for the summer and who took a job at their mansion as an erand boy. And he sees her. And suddenly she's out there sunbathing by the pool when he's painting the gazebo, she's offering him lemonade when he's mowing the grass and doing yoga on the terace when he's out trimming the rose bushes. And she's scared, because he's so much younger but she wants him and it's all wrong and suddenly she's wanted back and it's too late to back out now.

So yeah an gap plot with the younger muse who slowly draws out the older muses self-confidence.
