ooc. Sorry about the disappearing act everyone. I’ve been packing and this weekend I moved into my own place. My activity should be relatively back to normal!

arielle connected their lips in a slow kiss, hand cupping his cheek and deepening the kiss for a moment before slowly parting from the other with a small giggle escaping her lips. "no? you're enjoying yourself?" she teased.

teddy was thankful that the two of them were able to rekindle things, especially after a few months of not being like this due to nikolai's busy schedule. "i can't say i'd complain." he replied with a soft laugh. there wasn't ever going to be a moment where a complaint would come from his mouth if it meant his boyfriend would be in his company. watching his boyfriend react, he couldn't help but to smirk in response and he slowly pushed himself up to his feet. his lips found his and he wrapped his arms around his neck, "show me how much you need me." he mumbled.

The past few months had pushed Nikolai's social life to the background. He vividly remembered the moment his trainer had told him that minimising distractions was key to winning, which meant spending less time with his boyfriend to focus on practice. Fortunately, his dedication paid off this time—he'd won the match. Nikolai knew he would have felt guilty if he had made all those sacrifices and still lost. this conversation was definitely tense, even if she didn't really know what it was that was going to come out of his mouth. sloane brought over a bottle of water and handed it over before taking a seat across from him. she had no idea where this was going but the two really hadn't ended on good terms. they both knew that but the two of them also struggled with addiction too. they were both trying to do better at this point, at least she hoped they were. she knew she was. taking in a deep breath as he spoke, she lifted her shoulders up in a shrug. "i did love you. i always hoped one day you'd love me the same but i guess that never happened that's alright though. we weren't meant for each other."

"water's fine. I have a coke now i'll never be able to get to sleep later." not that sleep would come easily after this conversation, after the general experience of seeing her again. he took a minute to college himself as she got the water and thanked her for it when she came back. he two big gulps before setting down the glass. "right, okay so," he unfolded the letter and looked it over to see what parts felt the most important. "honestly Rory I came here mostly to say i'm sorry, for everything. for pulling you into my shit, for not paying more attention to you, for always making shit worse. I've been so selfish and I can blame the alcohol or the drugs but it wasn't just that, it was me. me not able to handle a good thing, not able to love someone without fucking it up." he fidgeted with the paper in his hands before reaching for the glass of water, another few sips and then he continued. "you, you loved me and all I did was cause you trouble. and though I don't deserve your forgiveness, I hope that maybe one day you will." he stopped there and took a breath, "the letter was way better," he admitted and set it down on the table with a nervous laugh, "but uh that's the bulk of it."

wynne couldn't help but relax at the feeling of lupe's arms wrapping around her body. laughing a moment later, she leaned into her. "i wouldn't make you do that." she reassured softly. though, she did find it endearing that the other would go as far as to chase her in something that definitely wasn't meant for running. she wanted this to work and a part of her felt bad that she went as far as to pack her bags but she felt as though this was the only way to get through to her, to make her realize that wynne wouldn't be here forever if she didn't change things. "so, you're saying i'm not second to your job?" she asked, eyes on hers as she slowly leaned in and pressed her lips against the other's. "and by the way, that means you have to come out to the bar to do a duet with me." she added, her lips brushing against lupe's.

lupe was still a bit in shock herself that the words had come out of her mouth. not because she didn't believe in her feelings for wynne but because she was genuinely surprised that she had actually managed to find the person to break her out of her one track mind. she was worried for a moment when she thought it was too late but the moment she saw wynne drop her bags, she stepped forward to wrap her arms around her in return. "thank god, it would've been so hard running after you in these heels. but for the record, I would've done it," she told her, mumbling against the side of her head. she couldn't help but joke to break the tension but she eventually pulled away slightly to take wynne's face in her hands. "i'm so sorry I made you feel like you were second to my job. I mean it's important to me but it's not my entire life. you, you have changed my life, my outlook on life. and definitely my outlook on karaoke," she told her before leaning in for a much needed kiss.

priscilla had admittedly missed leo when he was going but now that he was back and the two of them had tickets to the new year ball, she made sure to do what she could to look good for him. as he rang the doorbell, she smiled and made her way to the door to open it up for him, a champagne colored dress hugging her curves. she giggled at his response and intertwined their fingers, pushing herself closer. "we have plenty of time for you to take this off of me when i get home."

Leo had been away for a few days after Christmas visiting his daughter and now that he was back he was looking forward to spending some time with Priscilla before he was back into what was always a heavy time at work. He had got tickets for the New Year Ball and arrived at her door to pick her up, leaving the taxi waiting. He rang the bell and then straightened his tie, his face lighting up as he saw her. "Good evening madam. You look...incredible. Maybe we should change our plans and stay in for the night!"

oliver hated seeing her life this and he knew even before she started crying that she was upset. his forehead leaned against hers for a moment, hands sliding down to cup her neck. Aoife strode confidentally out of the hall and out the building, not aware of just how much Oliver was holding her up. It wasn't until he stopped and placed his hands on her face that the adrenaline left her body and she began to cry. Tears of anger and relief streamed down her face and she pushed her face against his shoulder as her body began to shake. "I hate him so much," she muttered. "Fucking ass, what did I ever see in him?"

ray couldn't help but to smile at the other. this was already going pretty well, especially since they seemed to agree on what it was they were going to get into. "no, buffalo is great. we're really not picky, huh?" he asked, smiling at the other. "i wish we would have done this sooner. don't you?"

richie's more than happy to be with the other , even if it was hanging out at ray's place , having pizza - whatever else there would be after that . a small smile comes from richie's face , listening to his words before his head cocks to the side . a smile managed to make its way onto palmer's lips. to hear that she trusted him was ultimately reassuring and if she trusted him, he hoped that meant in more ways than one. he wanted to see her again after this. "you want something to drink before we get started?"
