🏠 Do you prefer to RP within just one fandom, or more? Which verses of yours are more, or less compatible with others?

i have many fandoms!! i haven't had a chance to really go much outside of the FFVII one but i love crossovers, would love to do a hyrule one, or maybe Hades based!

🗺️ How open are you to meeting new people? Do you like your muses being mentioned IC? To just anyone, or only fandoms/friends that you know?

i am v friendly and i'm always open to making a new friend!! i do like my muses being mentioned but if i don't know you i can be a lil bit shy. i tend to appreciate it more with a friend tho.

🪀 How do OOC posts make you feel? Do they affect your IC writing or flow, to know other muns better?

i like ooc posts esp if they let me know whether or not i'm doing a good job! it really helps me to know that my RP partners are having fun and that i'm doing well, it doesn't always affect what i'm doing, unless the mun is plotting with me and wants it to go a direction. i like getting to know muns too!

🐣 Is there anything you're new at, just now learning, or practicing when it comes to RP?

oh boy it's defs with tumblr here and how everything works. i'm pretty new to it and i can have a hard time figuring out formats; but luckily everyone here has been really nice and patient with me!!

💡Do you get ideas from reading meta/headcanons/bios, or do those only pop up as you write?

i have so many headcanons i could write a novella lmaooo i have too much free time at work sometimes when i'm all caught up and scribble down ideas

💌 Have you ever hit it off with a mun right away? What were they like? How fast do you think it takes to warm up to new people?

i have!! i've wound up in a relationship with a couple of them long term and honestly they're amazing been the best things in my life for me. they were so sweet and adorable IC and OOC and i felt like i'd known them for ages even tho we just met. they were easy to fall in love with, even before we were actively shipping, it was just all clicking into place. i think it only took three days to admit we liked each other lmaoooo and now we're living together after 4 yrs and it's great. i got two hands and two arms and i try to keep my heart and mind open to new experiences and ppl. it was really similar to my other long term partner in terms of how we got along and now we are all v happy together!!

💋 Are you silly ooc? Casual? Chatty? Do you prefer or enjoy things like small talk, when not rping?

i'm very silly my memes are powerful, i'm casual, chatty and enjoy getting to know the mun even if we aren't writing!! i always welcome DMs for plotting or otherwise bc i really value the ppl around me

🩵 Do you have any apparent flaws when it comes to RPing/interacting? Be gentle with yourself!

i have a hard time DM'ing or reaching out sometimes, it can take me days to get up the courage, and then i get anxiety that maybe i come off too friendly. i always want to join in on the fun with prompts but i get nervous that it's unwanted even if it's open replies... i can also get really really wordy when writing bc i have a constant flow of thought or consciousness going on ahahaha i sometimes also can not read a room even tho i try and text is hard i'm not good at subtext so sometimes nuance is lost on me with muns or i'm not able to tell that they're upset about something unless they tell me they are. i try to be as open and considerate as possible!! but i'm not a mind reader. :(( i also sometimes ask questions directly without understanding sometimes it's being read a very diff way than how I meant it. so please tell me if you want some clarification!! i don't get offended at all if somebody asks me questions, wants to know my feelings, wants to communicate their feelings or needs somebody to listen to them. i welcome venting and reaching out if you're having a tough time even if we aren't writing together

👾 Is knowing a fandom more comfortable when RPing, or do you prefer knowing muns? (Overall.) Do you try new things, or get into new fandoms?

i like to write in fandoms i'm familiar with to a degree, or at least understand the world and how it functions, but i don't mind trying out new stuff or getting into new things if it fits with my likes and aesthetics I really like fantasy and magic and things with great drama including horror

yes omg yes and i will sit and admire and think somebody is v cool from a distance for forever and worry about coming off wrong but wanting to reach out and augh some of you are so absurdly talented

i am a naturally loving and kind person, it can make me very understanding and compassionate for what others are experiencing and going through. i am also considerate and try to make sure everyone is comfortable and having fun even if i can get a bit rambly. i have ASD and sometimes that can be hard for me bc i have a hard time reading others, so i ask a lot of questions, but it's because i care a lot about how the people in my life are doing. even if we're not writing. it's easier to type things to ppl than verbally speak them because my thoughts can get all jumbled IRL i don't have a personal dash i'm just here to write

🧤 Name the last need that you Had to take care of before rping!! Anything that made you leave dash, or before turning on the computer, etc.!

i had to spring clean my apartment and i wanted to die bc i stepped on a piece of glass and it was the worst while i was doing dishes :((( but now i'm good

i don't tell ppl i'm online but i work from home so i can kinda always be online tbh i try not to bother them tho if i think they're busy or got other things to do. i'm a little bit of an anxious person sometimes when it comes to trying to DM ppl but i really do try my best i think what's been consistent for me is having a rough time relating to other ppl who share my special interests (thank you ASD for nothing) and that i can sometimes talk about things no one but me cares about for a minute. i have a lot of personality traits and things in common with Cloud that i'm not always proud of, but i'm working on, and i work real hard to tame every day and in therapy bc i believe in trying to become my best self. i think all of us put a degree of ourselves into our muses and that can make us really amazing at portraying them. i try to do it justice using my own personal experiences and trying to think about how they made me feel, so maybe it bleeds into it a little bit, but that's because i want to make sure i'm doing the best possible job i can at writing out the thoughts and feelings of what i'm trying to convey

we both struggle with autism, communication, anxiety and get kinda depressed a lot but we mask extremely well and tend to try to resolve it on our own. it's understood i think that our problems are our own and that we can't make others responsible for us or how we should go about processing things we need to. i can be a little aloof, sometimes quiet, but i am a lot funnier hehe with a broad spectrum of interests and things i like to do!! i'm a better cook, for instance, and i like learning about history, politics, philosophy, world histories, and mental health. i love musicals and poetry and high fantasy things!! i don't really like or watch much anime, but there's a couple of series i like, but i'm all about gaming and RPGs!! i thought a lot about him today bc i'm writing such a good romance between myself and a Tifa and it is melting me. we were talking about the mental illness that both of them deal with and how they process it together and it's been so sweet aaaa i also was thinking about one of my Aeriths and how the dynamic is different but both are so valid and i love how i'm writing two diff stories in tandem and it's the best

just so much good writing and interactions on my dash!! even if they're not mutuals i've been enjoying reading their stories and it's refreshing to see everyone be so into it without the drama. Twitter is a hellhole i am glad that i left holy moly i don't notice much fighting over ships over here and instead everyone is having fun, even with OCs, or not in my verse; and it's so nice to watch

reunited - zelink oneshot

— zelda returns home from a diplomatic meeting and link greets her the only way he knows how

a/n: I've been away for a long while, but I'm ready to get back on the grind. Thank you to those who have been patient with me. This is an older piece I wrote a while ago and didn't know what to do with. My knowledge of Zelda is limited so forgive any mishaps :,) I view them as their BOTW versions but really any version of them will do!

It had been about two and a half weeks. No. Maybe three at this point. three or even more...

Either way, it had felt as though years had come and gone for Link, sitting in Epona’s stall watching her eat the meal he had brought her. It was the only pastime he could do to not feel so lonely, without his princess home. He hated her being a princess, with all the duties that came with the title he felt like it would be this way for the rest of their lives.

Link truly hoped that marriage was intended for them one day, although it never really mattered if they were united that way or not. What mattered was being near Zelda, and at this moment in time, he was not pleased because he was doing the exact opposite of that. His face contorted into a grumpy sort, causing Epona to neigh.

Sighing, the hero stood and pet her, wishing it could be his princess’ hair he was running his hands through, not the mane of his trusty steed. He saw the bucket that he had slid before her was empty, deciding it was high time to return to the castle and stress even more.

Arriving before the grand doors of the palace, the young man’s legs halted upon hearing hooves pounding the pavement in the distance. Link spun around, eyes widening once he saw the shiny tops of the kingdom’s guards. Discarding the empty bucket to the side, the knight ran for the gates to meet the court escorting Zelda home, stopping before them.

“Good day, sir Link,” Randolf, one of Hyrule’s highly appointed guards, greeted, nodding his head behind him. “Your princess is trailing right along.”

Link searched until his eyes fell on the blonde locks of his princess, sitting upon her dark stallion dressed in Hyrule’s royal bard. It was as though the man was seeing daylight for the first time — utterly amazed and thanking the goddesses for such a sight. His heart raced when she met his gaze and practically leaped off her horse.

Zelda was full of the same agony and depression as her knight these past few weeks, to the point where she was begging her court to return home early which they refused to comply with. Her meetings with the outer regions were far too crucial for her to just up and leave, how would that make Hyrule look, after all. She had dealt with too much to not feel the immense relief she held once her eyes met those ice blue ones of her counterpart. her handsome counterpart.

Link bolted after her when her feet hit the ground, giving her little time to run and more time to be swept up into his strong arms, which were slipped tightly around her waist. Hoisted into the air, spinning around, Zelda let out a shriek of laughter.

“Oh, Zelda,” her knight said relieved, the widest grin displayed across his face, bringing himself face to face with the beauty before him.

“Link!” she grasped his face in her hands, pushing back strays of hair that threatened to cover his piercing irises. “You don’t know how much pain I’ve been in over you, idiot.”

His arms tightened around her, nose to nose with Link’s breathing so deep from his sudden burst of exercise. “I have to say the same thing about you, Princess.”

Without another moment’s hesitation, the lovers’ lips meet and refuse to part. Link finally ran his hand over and through Zelda's long blonde hair, left hand remaining at her waist. Zelda had nestled her hands behind his neck, keeping Link locked in place. Nothing could ever beat this, he thought happily, such a moment is what one should strive for.

Time ceased to exist, Hyrule was no longer, their lives as they knew it seemed to disappear because all Zelda and Link could feel and know was each other. And that’s how they wished it could be. Forever.

Link’s hand grazed over Zelda's cheek as he slowly parted his mouth from hers, feeling the heat radiating from her natural glow. He smiled softly, resting his forehead on her own.

“Never leave for so long ever again, Princess.”

“No promises there, hero, but I will surely try,” she giggles softly, emerald eyes gazing into his own. “I don’t ever want to leave your side again. However will I enjoy life if not right here in your arms?”

“That is an excellent question,” Link smirked thoughtfully. “But what is life worth if not with you, my princess?"

“You know, we seem very dependent on each other,” Zelda playfully observed, squirming under the knight’s hold. “Maybe we should take some time to ourselves, a sort of vacation if you will.”

Link refused to let her get away, hooking his arms under her legs and tossing his love over his shoulder. Zelda let out a snort, happy to irk him in one way or another.

“Now now, princess, was it not just you who preached that by my side was where your utmost comfort and joy lay? I shall never let you go if that is the case.”

He gave Zelda's pant-covered bottom a solid smack as he veered towards the stables, adamant to have some alone time with Hyrule's most precious gem. Zelda flicked his pointy ear in response, smiling stupidly, happy to be back in Link's arms, where she knew home was.

Link squinted his eyes at the silhouette he saw through the heavy rain that poured all around him. Since there wasn’t much for him to do while it was pouring, he had decided to find some shade or shelter to make a fire to wait the rain out, but it seemed that there was someone else stuck in the rain just like him. He held up an arm to see if he could catch their attention, hoping that they weren’t a monster.

Here’s some random ramblings to start off the evening ww

So in BotW it seems like the elements are separated into Fire, Ice, and Lightning, yeah? They’re the types of dragon/spirits, wizzrobes, rods, elemental weapons, and arrow types (besides bomb and ancient of course). They also fit nicely and traditionally with the triforce and the associated Golden Goddesses-- Din and fire, Nayru and water, Farore and lightning (though she’s usually wind... perhaps wind and lightning are closely related). I can imagine the magical theory of BotW therefore revolving around a trinity of elements as well.

However, what about Minish Cap? There are four (classical) elements in MC: fire, water, earth, and wind. Hence the Four Sword. This would conflict rather badly with the tri elements, except... I can’t remember the elements directly being associated with magic? It was more of a “energy of the land condensed” sorta deal. Not to mention, magic in MC was kinda hand-wavey and there was lightning as well, so that wouldn’t fit with the four elements. In conclusion... it’s probably just a terminology thing?

I assume that outside of any of the elements mentioned, there is a separate light/dark thing going on too-- it just kind of seems instinctually plausible considering the whole Hylia/Demise thing and the Light Force and Dark World and etc. Healing vs Destruction. Also, is there pure magic as well? Is the most basic form of magic simply called magic, or is there another base element? 

I haven’t played much of the other LoZ games so I’m not sure, but I vaguely recall there being around 6 elements in other games?? The conclusion is that no one actually has any idea or agreement on what the elements are I guess lmao OR they are generally separate systems associated with different things.... Or... perhaps I just have no idea since I don’t have Hyrule Historia, and my thoughts are just out of ignorance.... lmao.....

Kinda sorta a review/riff of one of Richie's fan-fics

Posting this before I have to leave for the morning.

There is an ocean of Smash crap within Richie's FF.net account so I went ahead and picked out one that didn't involve Crash or Digimon. A Super Smash Bros. x Playstation All-Stars fic at that. thanks to @goddamnitsupersaiyancrash for inspiring me to open this back up.

Keep in mind FF.net hates copypasting, while tumblr hates large images, so… I have to fucking summarize this bullshit.

Introduction Chapter

Richie puts an author's note stating he's been busy with dA and stuff. And states that this is Smash Bros. x Playstation All-Stars except with tag-teams.

Promising idea, let’s see how he botches it.

Lazy intro copypasted from PSASBR itself, except with the "teams" and Nintendo characters.

Polygon Man teamed up with Master and Crazy Hand... Well, better than that butterfly-bastard Tabuu I guess.

Also description says that Heihachi teams up with Big Daddy, a partnership that makes no sense… But you never see Mr. Bubbles anyway and he is replaced with Zeus.

Sir Daniel and Fat Princess were also meant to appear against Marth and Ike, but never did. Thank fucking god, one of my favorite PSASBR characters was spared from this. There’s only ten chapters of this, one which is the intro I just summarized above.

Only three of the rivalries make sense anyway.

So, let’s start with who else but Mario and Link?

Mario and Link meet up with Peach and Zelda. The hands are back they say, but… Master and Crazy Hand were never evil to begin with??

It's confirmed that Master Hand just plays with the Smashers for amusement. He is one who creates. The left; Crazy Hand, is the destroying and kinda nutty. As far as I’m aware, the Smashers hold no real animosity towards the hands, it’s all mainly for fun. (Except in SSE, where Tabuu was controlling them)

Also Link talks again in this fan-fic. Unless it's in a comic or a silly video, I just dislike it when Link talks in fan-fics cause all I can hear when Richie writes him, is the 80's cartoon Link.

Granted in most of these SSB x PSASBR fics, Link is portrayed as quite an asshole. Even in the alternative fan-fic not by Richie (yet he kinda plagiarized on dA) that has slightly better rivalries, Link was a dick to Sir Daniel. Which is odd, because if you go by fan depiction, Fortesque is one of the nicer/less hostile All-Stars. I imagine at worst, there would be a confusion, and not hostility on purpose, but enough on that.

So Link and Mario set off to this strange world, where they meet… Who else? Kratos and Sweet Tooth, who attack for no reason.

Of course, Kratos attacks first, Sweet Tooth just calls Mario fat... When he really shouldn't talk at all. Kratos says he'll kill the gods when he's done with them, and Link thinks he means Hyrule's gods.

Not that it's possible at all to find them anyway, why is Link worried? The goddesses of Hyrule are pretty elusive. Now, if Link was worried because Zelda is the mortal reincarnation of Hylia, that would have made sense and would be clever.

So what to Kratos and Sweet Tooth offer? A better scenario actually, if just for the dialogue.

Kratos is advancing Olympus, when somehow a portal opens up, Richie makes a mistake I guess cause Calypso is mentioned, and Sweet Tooth's truck appears.

What's the first thing he does to the guy who knocked off his ice-cream cone and didn't pay for it?

… I dunno if I'd put this on the "Out of Character Counter", because even though they would disagree a lot and get into fights with each other, Kratos and Sweet Tooth would have a charm as a team.

How I would improve this:

Have Link not speak, and fear Kratos because he could be threatening Princess Zelda with his threats against the gods, and be somewhat uneasy on facing him.

Remove the obviously plagiarized intros and endings.

Not really much to change here, it’s pretty… alright. That’s all I can say so far. Alright. It gets worse later on.

Now keep in mind, the "Out of Character Counter" thing is gonna be around for a while, and not meant to be taken too seriously… And there's nothing wrong with fooling around with character, I did it more than you would think back when I was writing.

When Link’s mother died it had been an unceremonious funeral, what was left of her group and his father. It’d been private, kept only to those closest to her for the ceremony, and in the end it’d been just him and his father by his mother’s grave, sitting quietly as the sun set.

It was private, they had space to mourn, and cry, and just be silent as they stared at the headstone that now represented a mother, wife, and accomplished Knight that died for her Kingdom. It felt calm despite the pain, and then there was today.

Hyrule Castle was enormous, decorated in black cloth that hung on each wall, table, and Knight alike with the symbol of the Crown on it in gold. He’d been here before, a couple of times, but he’d never gone anywhere but the Knight’s quarters, and it was certainly grandeur Link had never seen and was not used to. He’d been to the Zora Domain once, only once, and while it was much larger, it was open and somehow that made the place look less daunting, and of course, Princess Mipha had shown Link all around the Domain when he wasn’t training with the Knights and they’d gone off on a quest somewhere for something. Hyrule Castle on the other end felt cold, large, and somehow not… welcoming.

It was a funeral, it was to be expected, but it still made Link fidget with the ends of his black clothes as he walked along the halls behind his father that gave commands on keeping the Castle safe due to so many people coming to visit and pay respects. It was strange, so different from the funerals he’d attended, which were more than a child of eight should have attended at such a young age, but when his father was a Knight, death became more of a companion than a shadowy figure looming in the distance.

This was… once more, grand. Public.

“Urbosa should be arriving shortly, make sure to guide her to the Princess’ quarters, she’ll want to see her,” Link’s father says, voice firm and heavy, making Link look up and tilt his head, confused by why he sounded so tired when the day had just begun.

“Yes, Sir,” The Knight beside him says, nodding once and bowing his head in respect before running off to do as told, Link staring after him, imitating the bow.

“Link,” His father says beside him, making him jump slightly and look up with a sheepish smile. “I need to to be safe today, a lot of people will be coming, and I need you to also be on your guard, I will be attending to several guests, making sure everyone is doing as they must, can I count on you, little solder?” He asks.

“Yes!” Link says standing up straight and bowing like he’s been taught, though no where near as practiced at the others, he still managed to look respectful, making his father chuckle under his breath, ruffling his too long dark blonde hair.

“Good, now, make sure not to get into any trouble,” His father says moving down to one knee, a mischievous glint in his eye. “And if you do, don’t get caught,” He says poking Link’s nose who giggles shaking his head.

“Dad, I won’t get into any trouble,” Link says back rubbing his nose, though the fit of giggles doesn’t stop. “I promise.”

“I believe you,” His father says standing back up, saluting his son who mirrors him. “Now go on, I have to go meet Princess Mipha.”

“Can I see her later?” Link asks excitedly, his father already beginning to walk and chuckle at his son’s excitement to see the Zora Princess.

“I don’t see why not, take care, son,” His father says and disappears behind a pair of large doors towards where everyone is arriving.

Link smiles, watching his father go before turning moving to a nearby window. Outside people gather and as his father said, Mipha has arrived, smiling kindly like a Princess always should - or so he thought whenever he imagined a princess, someone soft and good and beautiful.

He sighs, leaning his chin on his arms on the edge of the window, Link hoped he’d be able to swim as well as she did someday, maybe even impress her, though she did seem to be surprised with his agility with a sword and spear.

fallout/apocalypse/harvest moon, what a trio

hey, i'm tea (like the beverage). i'm in my early 20's, and i live in midwestern USA so my timezone is central. i roleplay exclusively through email. i've tried other mediums and they just don't stick for me. there will be an ooc thread for plotting/planning/talking and an rp thread for the actual roleplay. i hope this formats right and if not, well. it was nice knowing u.

    for the rp itself, i'm looking for a small array of things, so i figured i'd make an ad as a catch-all instead of doing something like one ad per request. i will only do oc/oc romance, and i only do m// and/or f//. doubling is required, regardless of whether we stick with two m// pairings or two f// pairings or one of each.

  STORY OF SEASONS/HARVEST MOON/STARDEW VALLEY;

alright, this one is pretty different. this would be very video game-like: heart events, character gift preferences, festival events, townspeople, the whole nine yards. this is a very worldbuilding-centric scenario with multiple side characters, so plz be prepared for stuff like that. i have a couple of ideas for a town setting, but mostly i'd like to make one with my partner. here are some ideas, all of which the main plot (there will be one! i love HM but slice of life gets tedious when you rp it long enough) will be adjusted to accommodate the setting:

☆fantasy-based, like rune factory. along with humans, there could be dwarves, elves, mermaids/mermen, selkies, magic-users... maybe a shape-shifting dragon? who knows. i mean actual fantasy and not just fantasy races, tho, like disappearing woods or ice caverns or giant tree houses or floating landscapes or airships. so basically rune factory haha.

☆supernatural-based, maybe a halloweentown or addams family vibe? or perhaps something more sinister and . along with humans, there could be vampires, werewolves, demons, witches, ghosts, et cetera.

☆pokemon-based. instead of regular farm animals, they're pokemon! miltank, combee, mareep, sudowoodo, et cetera. this could be suuuuper cute and fun. this would be based in an established region, but could either be a town we make ourselves or based in a town in canon.

☆LOZ-based, in hyrule. there could be hylians, rito, zora, et cetera. ☆regular SV/HM. can't go wrong with the classics!

  APOCALYPSE/POST-APOCALYPSE;

what can i say? every once in a while, i get bitten by the apocalypse bug. i'm used to doing post-apocalypse, where people are living on in the world after it's ravaged, with it being the only world they've ever known. which is fun! but i'm also down for a current apocalypse, where people live their daily lives and are forced to adjust to the world following a catastrophic event. i'll be honest, i prefer this genre with some sort of monster. i'll be frank: i like zombie apocalypses. i know they're overrated and overdone to hell, but what can i say. that said, doesn't have to be zombies! i'd love to do an apocalyptic rp with a different monster, from the supernatural to the paranormal to the extraterrestrial. a character being immune to whatever's going down would be fun too. i have a vague idea based on a story i'd like to write one day involving an impact winter and a virus that results from that, so lmk if you're interested. otherwise, regular zombie apocalypses or post-apocalypses in general are fine by me.
