That tiny duklyon cameo panel in the CLAMP School Detectives flashback chapter is going around in my brain again.

We know Takeshi is at CLAMP school because of a scholarship so he doesn’t have to pay what all the rich kids’ families pay to have their kids go there. But again bc of that tiny background panel in CLAMP School Detectives I wonder what age he joined the school at. I assumed he hasn’t been there for his entire school life but until spotting that panel ages ago I’d always just assumed he joined at the high school level, at around 15 and was fairly new there.

The flashback in CLAMP School Detectives to when Suoh and Nokoru meet is supposed to be three years prior to current events and since CLAMP School Detectives and Duklyon are set around the same time, with Takeshi as a high school student, the flashback would put him as a junior high student.

so it’s possible he actually has been at clamp school since he was about 12 or so then which is great bc Kentaro is there in the flashback panel with him which means that Kentaro had already latched onto him a good few years before they were ever paired up to fight as Duklyon.

How he expects anyone to believe his ‘I don’t know that guy! We’re not even friends!’ nonsense after all that is hilarious.

I’m just imagining any of the shadow peach babies after getting their first bath just puffing up like a Pomeranian, just a little fuzz ball with eyes just :p

Also what type of babies where each of the big family au kids, by that I mean personality wise, I’ve met babies who laugh at everything, are very giggly and easily amused. On the other hand there are babies who are already done with everything, just side eye 24/7 deadpan face

They would be SO fluffy! These three especially just poof up like Wukong!

As for what they were like:

Haoyu: was a very mellow baby. That like- they don’t realize how good of a baby he was until they had other children 😆 he cried only when he was hungry. Big on staring, but had an issue of having too much strength for someone so little- so he often had to wear little mittens so he couldn’t grab hold of anything.

MK: happy baby~! So smiley and cheerful, but also very much a biter. Wukong learned this first hand 😆 he was so amused by everything, there was hardly a time you didn’t see this boy smiling. If he did cry, it was because Xiaoxiao was crying first. A very empathetic baby.

Xiaoxiao: had a lot of Separation anxiety, and often cried and wailed when not held. Big sounds, sudden lights- easily spurred to tears. He couldn’t be away from MK for too long or got incredibly over stimulated. Babbled A LOT

Sying: grumpy baby~ always giving people side eyes, puffy cheeks and frowns, and yet constantly wanted to be held too~ fussed a lot and was very picky with her food 🤣 always smiled when her brothers tried to get her to laugh

Rumble: big snuggler. Always wanted to be snuggling someone and never really moved from where you put him. Deadpan expression. Very well behaved.

Savage: giggling baby all the time~ but also would crawl off and disappear into his shadow all the time~! Constant hunt to keep this boy in eye sight xD got into everything and was so curious. Wiggle bug who could never stay still. Constantly kicking bunny feet

Xue: a sweetheart of a baby. A big mimic, often copying what the people around her did. Often made a grumpy face when she wanted something but couldn’t convey what that was. Crocodile tears sort of baby to get what she wanted 😆

Bao: sweetest little fluff. Friendly with everyone, loved snuggles, giggled a lot. Took a while to learn to walk because everyone wanted to hold them. Got frightened a lot when they didn’t realize someone was there if they didn’t make sound to announce their presence earlier

Sarah wanted to hire you to take care of her father, Joel. He wasn’t that old, but years of hard work in construction gave him some mobility issues. Sarah worried he spent too time alone, and that he could fall, get hurt and trapped without help because of his pride (which seemed to be a real possibility, considering Joel didn’t want to lose his independence in any way).

You were supposed to get the night shift, which was nice. The night shift was calm, except when it wasn’t. Sarah assured you she talked to her father, she wanted to introduce you to him, before you started working.

You prepared for war, if the man was as stubborn and grumpy as his daughter described.

Sarah introduced you and the old man looked at you over his glasses.

“You sure this pretty thing can lift me off the floor?” He asked, a crooked smirk stretching his lips. You considered answering him, but he raised his face defiantly and winked.

He was teasing his daughter.

You chuckled, to Joel’s delight. Sarah hired you on the spot.

Joel was grumpy most of the time. You could understand. Getting older was specially hard on some people. Losing their independence seemed to be a horrifying blow.

You admired the family pictures displayed on the walls and the bookshelves. They showed a younger Joel, large and proud, wearing tight tshirts that showed his big arms.

He didn’t change much, to be honest. His hair now was completely silver, as his beard. The wrinkles didn’t spoil his roguish smile. He was on his seventies, but looked younger, somehow. You blamed his brown eyes.

“You know what I miss most about my youth?” He said softly one day, entering the living room. You were looking at his pictures. He slowly moved by your side and placed a hand over your back, rubbing gentle circles. “All the pussy.”

in one of Moon's classes he taught them a spell that turns people into babies or tots whichever.

Then one of the boy's accidentally fired it at yn

His face paled as a puff of smoke surrounded the princess and when it cleared, the princess was a two year old.

She stumbled on her feet and plopped, bottom first on the tile. The princess didn't react, only blinking in confusion.

(basically the spell also reverts the person's mind to a toddler as well)

The boy's eyes slowly glanced at his teacher who was glaring up a storm at him.

Everyone, including the boy ran out of the classroom for break time.

Moon didn't have the chance to be angry as the (now) little princess stared at him, practically swimming in her shirt that used to be just her size.

So basically the spell can only be reversed by the person that cast it and the boy obvi doesn't know the reverse spell so it'd take a while turn yn back

So while Moon is teaching him the reverse spell (and punishing him) Sun and eclipse would take care of lil yn and I imagine reluctant to change her back too soon xD

And if this happens to present yn I imagine ESPECIALLY eclipse would be in absolutely no hurry WHATSOEVER to reverse the spell

So basically

Sun + Eclipse at first: concerned

Then after it is explained that yn is not hurt or in any pain and she's completely fine:

Sun nods along with what is being said, one hand sifting through countless room catalogs while his other hand wags a plush bunny plush/blanket hybrid in front of you. "What if we went with this one? This was one of the trendiest pieces this year."

Moon shakes his head, "The colors are too harsh for her young eyes. It might over stimulate her new senses."

He picks up one book, flipping it over, and handing it to Sun, "How about this room? The colors are very calming and it still has that crib you like."

Sun's eyes sparkle and he squeals as he takes the catalog, "Ooooh! This looks too CUTE!"

He beams at Eclipse and turns the book in a way so the Automatron could see, "What do you think love?"

Eclipse smiles at all the plush stars, the secure looking crib in the middle of the picture, and the sun and moon mobile hanging above it. It was perfect for their little star.

The Emperor looks down at you and lifts you closer to the picture, "What do you think, precious comet?"

You whine and huff, kicking at the picture. All three laugh at your angry pout.

Moon reaches his arms out and Eclipse hands you over to him, "Looks like someone is still a little grumpy at their adorableness~."

Sun holds his cheeks while cooing at you, "Precious sunbeam...You know that your papa still needs time to make a remedy. Just hang tight and allow us to spoil you silly~."

Moon nods, cradling the back of your head as he lays you on his chest, "We weren't able to be with you during this stage of your life before. So we are a tad ecstatic about the whole thing~."

You let out a huff before Moon brings the end of his hat into your line of sight. The belly was shiny and the perfect size for both your tiny hands. You babble to yourself as you grab the small ball, eyes widening when it makes a small *clink* sound.

You start rattling it around while Moon laughs.

Eclipse sighs and leans back in his chair while watching his small family be with one another. They had made the right call with delaying the making of the remedy. Now you can be a child again. And they can fix their mistakes.

(Just me talking about my experience with the pastel goth style and 2014-2016 era.) Pre warning it’s a whole lot of rant. lolol!!

Pastel goth fashion has always been a huge thing for me. Starting when I was around 8-9 years old. Having social media at that age I was in online communities a lot. I lived in a pretty average place where being a bit different was seemed as negative or inappropriate. the style seemed perfect for me due to the fact I both enjoyed goth and kawaii themes at the time, so seeing them combined made pastel goth a favourite of mine.

Obviously the style isn't as popular as it once was, and being alternative isn't looked down/judged as much as it used to be. I'm glad more people are accepting of different styles now.

I've only got into pastel goth now I'm a bit older due to experimenting with other styles beforehand. I was a bit too young when pastel goth was at its peak. I was aware of the style but couldn't afford/DIY my own stuff. However I'm older and even though its not a huge thing as it used to be I still cant let go of the fashion style. Its not only nostalgic for me but I just still enjoy the looks I can make with it now.

(also I was a bit of a tom-boy irl during pastel goths peak. Though I was secretly obsessed with kawaii and pink online </3.)

I craved to be girly but for some reason I thought I'd be liked more for being more masculine? I'm not sure if I was being a pick me or trying to be not like other girls but I definitely regret wasting my time not being able to express who I wanted to be back then.

Obviously like other people back in 2014-2016 I was a big fan of Melanie Martinez, she was a big thing for me due to her fashion and hair styles, Unfortunately I don't follow her anymore.. Mainly I just didn't enjoy her newer music and I wont even begin with the allegations made against her.

Other artists I enjoyed back then were Halsey, MARINA, Lorde, Arctic monkeys, panic at the disco, Lana del ray, The neighbourhood and The killers.

A lot of these I still listen to now and then. But these artists especially MARINA, Halsey and Melanie inspired me back then with their looks/themes of their music.

Before anime became a norm, I used to be a huge anime fan. (I got bullied so hard lolol) You wasn't OG if you didn't watch anime on YouTube in like 100 parts to avoid copyright. xD. Anime's like future diary, sailor moon, Perfect Blue, Fairy tale and Maid sama. I was a huge fan of anime romance..

Part of me is really happy anime is popular to the extent it is now, but the younger version of me was a little gatekeeper and grudges how I was bullied for it just for it to become popular.

I think sailor moon got me into kawaii fashion, anime then leading me into Japanese fashion styles which pastel goth originated from, the Gurokawa (Creepy Cute) aesthetic.

Whilst goth wise I got into from horror movies and the fact I was really into horror games and creepypasta as a child. Therefore mixing the two aesthetics.

I love the quirkiness of pastel goth and 2014-2016. Yes the era was quite toxic but I choose to remember the goodness of it, silly cat edits, Nyan cat, Grumpy cat, Pusheen, sparkles, eye balls, unicorns and those odd but cool edits of Disney princesses covered in tattoos and glasses.

I think what I try achieve in my blog is the fun and weird side of pastel goth. I'd like to excuse the harsh standards of that era like ED or romanticised toxic relationships/misogyny. I'm not a hateful person so obviously I'm aware people still struggle with these things and they do have history with the style, but for my own sake Id rather not post about them on my own blog.

I knowww that's a lot of yap but I find it genuinely fun to talk about the era and how I remember it. Kinda like a diary for me ig? I hope ppl can relate :,)

“I’m in the middle of something,” he said, distracted, focused, sharp—but slow. Too slow. He was running on fumes.

You crossed your arms and stepped inside. “You’ve been in the middle of something for three days. You haven’t eaten. Or slept. Or even showered.”

“I can’t stop now. There are still names—”

You marched up to him and grabbed his wrist mid-sentence.

“Too bad. Kira can judge tomorrow. Light needs his damn sleep now.”

He blinked, finally glancing up at you. You didn’t look mad—just worried. Exhausted in a different way than him. He wasn’t sure why that hit harder than it should’ve.

“I’m fine,” he tried to say, but you were already tugging on him.

“Nope. No talking. Talking means excuses. I know how this goes.”

He gave you the Light Yagami look—the calm, composed one he used on detectives and gods alike.

You stared him dead in the eye.

"Don't make me get the sedative tea."

That made him pause. "...You don’t have sedative tea."

"You wanna bet?"

He stared at you another second.

Then sighed.

He could outwit geniuses, fool Shinigami, and shape the world into something divine.

But he could not win against the stubborn love in your eyes and the grip on his wrist that told him you weren’t letting go.

“Fine,” he muttered.

You smiled. “Good boy.”

“You know I could write your name down for that.”

“I’ll take my chances,” you said, dragging him to the bed.
