This is heavily inspired by the post @slasherhaven that they made awhile ago. I've been hyperfixated on TWD lately and I'm still in the middle of watching it, I'm early in season 9 so sorry if these are kind of OOC. Also I am now writing for Maggie and Glenn.

Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Glenn Rhee, and Maggie Rhee

Rick Grimes

When you tell him about what happened to you his heart breaks and he's immediately filled with rage. He doesn't want to leave you alone after you're so open and vulnerable with him about this but he genuinely has to step away to calm himself down about this.

Once he's calmed himself down he'll be quickly back to help comfort you about what happened. Holding you close and letting you vent as much as you need to. Now that he's here he's going to protect you as much as he can and no one is going to hurt you again.

When you give him information on the person who did it to you he thinks not much of it for the time being but when he runs into the piece of filth that hurt you he's seething. But he'll put on a mask until he can really get close enough to get them back.

He's not going to waste a bullet on this sick son of a bitch. He'll made it slow and painful. He'll beat them bloody and make sure they're eaten by walkers before they die.

Then he'll go back home to you and make sure that you're comforted and know that you're deeply loved and appreciated by him. He'll never tell you that he killed them, but he'll always let you know that they can't hurt you anymore.

Daryl Dixon

He's not exactly sure how to go about helping you when you tell him about your assault. Of course he's upset, he's very outraged, but he's not very in tune with his emotions and obviously he's not going to really know how to handle regulating his emotions and help you.

In a rare moment of vulnerability he'll hold you close to him and let you cry out your feelings. He won't say or do much other than hold you close and promise you that no one is ever going to hurt you again.

You gave him details about your assault but he never actually expected to come across that person, especially given the fact that it's the apocalypse. But when he sees the person that hurt you his immediate reaction is to try and kill them.

But he settles on beating them close to death and berating them the entire time about how much of an awful person they are and just how much they deserve what's happening to them. After beating them close to death he'll leave them there and hope that a walker eats them alive.

Just like with Rick he'll get back home and go to give you a hug, which is rare with Daryl. He'll hover close to you for the rest of the day and will be sure to try and show you just how much he cares about you in his own way. He'll also never tell you what he did, he'll just tell you there's no way in hell they can hurt someone ever again.

Glenn Rhee

He's 100% pulling you into a hug when you tell him about what happened to you. He'll be silent the entire time unless you want him to comfort you verbally which he will do if that's what you need to happen.

He'll spend the rest of the day taking care of you and trying to keep your load relatively light. He'll be close to you for the rest of the day and try to make sure that you're not beating yourself up for what happened to you.

When he finds out he knows the person who assaulted you he's livid. He takes them out to a secluded area and threatens them after beating them for a bit. He swears if they ever come near you again he'll kill them.

He personally watches or makes sure that they're long gone before the comes back home to you where he assures you they'll never hurt you ever again. He won't give details but he'll keep assuring you that they'll never hurt you again.

Maggie Rhee

When you explain your assault to her she's heartbroken, immediately pulling you into a hug and holding you there for as long as you need to be held.

If she feels like it could help you she'll talk about her own experience with what happened with The Governor. She'll appreciate how vulnerable you're being with her and she'll feel like she can be vulnerable with someone again.

If she ever comes across the person who hurt you she's going to be overcome with rage and will have to calm herself down to get him back to Hilltop and keep him there while she talks to you about what you want to do about them.

If you want them dead she's happy to help you with killing them, however you want to kill them she'll help, unless you want to do it yourself. She wants to get you justice and if killing them is justice to you then go ahead.

If you don't want them dead she understands that but she'll eventually to it herself. She can't stand the idea of the person who hurt you so horribly being able to go unpunished for what they did to you. Either way after what happens she's going to comfort you again.

Rick feels secure in your relationship. He trusts you. Your relationship is moving and growing. You both communicate well and both of you know exactly what you want. The Smith family was sitting around a table together, eating the pancakes Beth made. Morty poked at it with his fork. The pancakes are dry, he thought bitterly. Cole tapped into his contacts for help, Sam looked into what might be causing men to get thirsty, and Dean went to get the food once it was ready.

"Listen, l got nothing on cattle deaths or freakish weather," Sam says once Dean comes back. "It's probably not a demon."

"Maybe it's just not your kind of thing at all," Cole says. He takes out his phone when it rings and pulls up an email he got from his friend. "Okay, here we go. I got an encrypted e-mail here from my friend at the M.I. Kit and Rick were sent to rescue an American P.O.W. being held in Iraq in the Najaf cemetery."

"Cemetery?"

"The bastards use 'em as a prison. I got some footage here from the camera on Willis' helmet during his last mission with Kit."

Cole scoots closer to the brothers and angles his phone so all three of them can watch it. Out of curiosity, you stand behind them so you can watch it, too. The video shows Rick and Kit enter a mausoleum where they find the soldier whom they were supposed to rescue. Instead of that happening, the soldier attacks them aggressively.

"I'm guessing that didn't have a happy ending," Dean says once the video ends.

"No, it did not. Mission failed, and that P.O.W. got shot by guards."

"Why do I have a feeling that's not what really happened?" you ask.

"Because it's not. That's the official story. I refuse to believe that's what happened."

Sam's phone rings and he looks at the notification that pops up on screen.

"What is that?"

"I set my phone to get local alerts."

"Is it bad?" Cole asks.

"It's bloody," Sam sighs.

"Alright, let's get out of here."

The notification is about another death at a gas station in town, so that's where you four head to next with you and Cole in the backseat and Sam and Dean up front. You stay outside while Sam and Dean head inside to ask what's going on. They come out with solemn looks on their faces and explain what they found out. Kit got so thirsty that he killed someone and licked their blood since he drank all the water.

"He licked the blood off the floor?" Cole sighs.

"Yeah, the soda jockey back there seemed pretty shaken up by it. Does this sound like it's not our kind of thing?"

Cole's phone rings and he takes the call off to the side. You tuck a strand of hair behind your ear and train your hearing on his phone conversation using your magic. Never did you think you'd be able to do this with your magic much less do anything else.

"Hey, Jem."

"Cole, the news said someone was killed at the Gas'n'Sip on Kenton."

"Yeah, I'm here right now."

"You are? What are they saying?"

"Not much. Look, I can't really talk right now. I'm sorry."

"Wait," she rushes out, "do you think that... do they think that Kit did this?"

"I don't know."

"If he did, he isn't in his right mind and you know that, Cole. You got to save him."

"I will."

"I know. That's the only thing keeping me sane right now. I was thinking, you know, sometimes when Kit wanted to be alone, he would head up north to his dad's old cabin. Maybe you could go check it out and l'Il stay here in case he comes home."

"Right," he whispers.

"Would you hurry up?" you call after Cole who flips you off.

"Jem, I got to go."

"So, what next?" Sam asks when Cole rejoins the group.

"We hit every cop shop within a ten-mile radius, put the word out, and see if we can't track him down."

"If you find him, what then? Kit needs help. He doesn't need a bullet, and he doesn't need a knife," Cole argues.

"Okay, you know what? Not everyone is good at this job, and you're clearly in no mindset to help. So, what you're going to do is go back to Jemma's house and play the concerned best friend while the adults are going to handle this one. Okay?" you grin.

"I wouldn't have put it like that but she's right. That's the job," Dean says.

"Fine, take me back to Jemma's." They do thinking that he is going to sit by and do nothing. "Thanks for the lift."

"It's better this way, alright? You keep her calm and we'll keep you posted. If he shows up, don't try and be a hero. Call us."

"You got it."

Cole gets out and heads up Jemma's driveway, watching as Dean pulls back onto the road.

"You know he's not going to drop this, right? All he needed was a ride back to his car. I overheard his conversation with Jemma earlier. Kit liked to go to his dad's cabin up north. If I know Cole, and I do, that's where he's going," you say. Dean pulls over into a small alcove off the side of the road and turns off the car so he's not idling. Twenty minutes later, Cole's car goes racing past Dean's heading North. "I love being right."

Dean rolls his eyes and starts the car before pulling back onto the road and following Cole. By the time you reach Kit's cabin, it's night. Sam and Dean don't want Cole to know they followed him so they try to be as quiet as they can while they get their weapons. You start walking toward the cabin with red magic swirling around your hands.

"Y/N! Stop!" Dean hisses.

You don't listen and open the front door quietly, listening carefully for either Kit or Cole.

"Kit? Hey, Kit? Are you here? It's Cole." You see a flashlight move throughout the house. "There are some real serious people looking for you, Kit, and they won't just want to talk. It's bad, Kit." You walk into the back room and see Kit huddling in the corner. Cole is inching toward him slowly. "Hey, Kit. It's me."

"I'm sorry. l can't stop."

Kit jumps up and attacks Cole just like what you assumed he did to Rick and the gas station employee. You watch with a grin at the chaos happening, and you don't do anything when something black jumps out of Kit and flies into Cole's mouth. Dean and Sam rush into the room and push past you to help Cole and Kit. Kit jumps away from Cole and throws Dean across the room to escape. He runs off into the night but you don't go after him. Old you would have. New you don't give a shit about it.

"Oh, god. Oh, God. Ew. Something went down my throat," Cole gags.

"Alright, just try and stay calm."

"Something moved. It's alive, Sam," he panics.

"We're going to get it out of you."

"How?!"

Man, that was a dumbass move coming here alone. You do know that, right?" Dean scoffs and turns to you. "Way to help... not."

"Always a pleasure to help," you smirk sarcastically.

"Oh, l'm sorry. l should have let the machete brothers cut my buddy's head off," Cole scoffs.

"Well, if you did, maybe you wouldn't be chokin' down a damn Khan worm right now!"

"What's a Khan worm?" Cole gasps.

"Do you think that's what it is?" Sam asks his brother.

"Or some sort of freak cousin."

"Freak cousin of what? Would someone tell me what the fuck is going on here?" Cole demands.

"A couple of years back, Dean, Y/N, and I worked a case. We got stuck in a cannery with this worm. It would get into people's bodies and... It was awful."

"How do we kill it?"

"Worst case is headshot the person it's in. The worm crawls out and we stomp it like a bug," Dean sighs.

"Is there a version where you don't cap me?"

"Electrocution seemed to do the trick last time," you say. Cole looks uneasy but you know it's better than dying. "Electrocution it is!"

"Alright, you two get to work," Sam says to you and Dean. "I'll go look for Kit."

"If we can fix me, we can save Kit, right?" Cole asks before the younger Winchester can leave.

"That's the idea."

Dean takes out tools he might need from the car so Sam can take the car and follow after Kit. Cole leaves and helps Dean bring in some supplies while you sit on the wooden fur throne in the middle of the room. With one leg crossed over the other, you watch the two men in silence. This is going to work out perfectly for you. If you can somehow get Dean away even for a moment, you can start to plant seeds of doubt in Cole's mind. Plant enough and he'll start to go crazy like Kit.

"You know that this is gonna hurt like a son of a bitch?" Dean says once he brings in the last tool.

"l have a wife, a kid, and an upside-down mortgage to get back to. Whatever it takes, Dean."

"Okay."

Cole takes off his shirt and lays down on the couch while Dean connects jumper cables to a car battery.

"So, the last time you saw this thing, it turned people into killers?"

"Yeah, except that one did a mind-control number on us."

"Damn. Day in and day out, you, Sam, and Y/N are saving people from things they just can't wrap their minds around. Nobody even notices it. At least l get a medal for my efforts, but you... I tried to kill your ass."

"Good times," Dean scoffs.

"I almost took you off the map. Who would be saving me now?"

"Not me," you comment.

Dean glares at you. "Let's not get too sentimental about it. Alright, let's fire this puppy up."

"You say that like it's just another Tuesday."

"Oh, buddy, it's only Monday," Dean smirks and snaps the jumper cables together so they spark.

Dean removes his belt and folds it in half so Cole has something to bite down on. Cole grips the belt between his teeth and nods at Dean to do it. Dean looks at you as he takes a deep breath, and presses the jumper cable clamps to Cole's forearms. Cole jerks back from the shock but Dean only keeps the clamps on him for a few seconds.

"Anything?" Cole pants.

"Last time, it came out of our ears and I'm not seeing anything yet."

"Do it again."

Dean puts the belt back in his mouth and shocks him again, this time a few seconds longer.

"Alright, that sucker should have crawled out by now."

"Do it again," you smirk.

"Not helping," Dean glares.

"She's right. Do it again."

"If I keep going, this is gonna kill you."

"Again!"

"You heard the man," you chuckle.

Dean replaces the belt and shocks him again. This time, Cole's jaw goes slack and his eyes roll to the back of his head. Dean immediately pulls the cables away and slaps his cheek.

"Cole! Hey! Come on!" Dean looks at you with wild eyes. "Save him!"

"What are you going to do if I don't?" you smirk.

Dean growls in frustration and starts CPR on Cole. when that doesn't work, he starts slamming his fist into his chest in hopes it'll get his heart to restart.

"Cole! Damn it!!"

Cole gasps awake and you lean back with a sigh.

"Hey! Hey! Okay! Hey. Alright!" Cole pants. He grabs the belt and places it in his mouth. "Again."

"No. No, we're done playing 'Operation'. If I zap you again, you're toast. Just take a knee."

Cole spits out the belt and rests while Dean walks off to the side. He grabs his phone and dials his brother, and you use the same magic to tap into his conversation like what you did with Cole and Jemma.

"Dean. How did it go?" Sam asks.

"The worm was a no-show."

"That doesn't make any sense. Last time--"

"Well, this ain't the last time. I mean, maybe this is a whole new species, you know? All I know is that Sparky struck out."

"There's got to be something. I mean, everything has a weakness, right?"

"Yeah, I guess. What about you? Any luck?"

"I'm on my way to Kit's. I thought l'd check there first."

"Alright, well, hurry up."

"You got it." Dean steps back into the room and makes sure you haven't killed Cole yet. "Are you okay?"

"As good as I can be, I guess. So, this is what in over your head looks like."

"Just got to keep your head in the game. Okay, what do we know about this thing?"

"Has the thirst settled in yet?" you ask. "Feel a bit dehydrated?"

"Yeah, actually."

"Okay, it likes water. When that's not enough, it craves blood." You smirk as an idea pops into your head. "Maybe lack of fluids makes the thing hostile like a parasite. It wrings you dry, and then it moves on."

"So, if l dry myself out, the son of a bitch wouldn't like that very much, would he?"

"No, he'd want the hell out. You'd be a hostile environment, well, more than you already are," Dean chuckles.

"To be fair, you haven't seen my chiller side."

"What do you think about rapid dehydration?"

"Big fan. Just make sure you squash that sucker when it goes AWOL."

"Sounds like a plan."

"Alright, nothing like a sweat lodge in the woods, huh?"

What really confuses me:

If there's a show that could rely solely in nostalgia it's Caryl's. Carol and Daryl's stories are the wires that cross the whole show. They were there from begging to end. Their relationship was there from begging to end. They have all the nostalgia in their favor. There could be at least 3 seasons of Caryl only dealing with past trauma, callbacks to iconic moments, and dialogues composed of memorable quotes. And yet there's so much more to tell. There is so much conflict/tension to explore and resolve.

Even more than TOWL (Rick and Michonne left TDW at some point and Richonne's relationship only started later in the show. And I think all that needed to be explored/resolved regarding them was done in the main show and in the season 1 of TOWL. There's not much conflict left)

A lot more than Dead City (Negan's most iconic moments are of when he harmed other people and he already got his redemption arc/flashbacks in TWD, so there's not a lot of trauma healing left. Meggie's most iconic moments are with her family, which is, besides her son, dead, so there's not a lot of connections nor motivation left (they can't rely on her son forever). Meggie also left at some point and her relationship with Negan only started in season 5, in a horrendous context that doesn't leave a lot of room for development (and she already forgave him in the main show). There's not much conflict left)

So what I don't understand is, with such gold material in their hands, how can they screw up so badly? Even if they were lazy, all the material was there in plain sight, they didn't have to dig it up.

Do you think I'm justified in thinking that even a child with some critical thinking could do a better job? 2. To what do you attribute this writing mess (from season 1 to season 2.6 spoilers)? Is it just plain bad writing or purposely screwing Carol/Caryl (and even in-character-Daryl)? 3. And what would they gain with failing so hard? 4. Do you think there's more investment in the other spinoffs? 5. Are you still holding on any hope they could do Caryl/Carol/Daryl justice? 6. And what would you do differently if it was you in command? 7. What's your favorite nostalgic moment you'd like to see revisited in the spinoff?

2. Both. Zabel only cares about his original characters/original concept and Nicotero was put in charge during the strike

I think AMC invests too much time trying to market every show to the built-in TWD fanbase as a whole and to new viewers (new= more dudebros) instead of accepting that each spinoff has its own core audience who connect with specific characters and growing those separate fanbases and then diversifying with viewers who can enjoy different elements without stepping on the core audience's toes.

5. They can try to slap a band-aid on things. Not sure they're motivated to do that and as long as Zabel is showrunning, pushing the friendship narrative, and shipbaiting, then there's no way Caryl/Carol/Daryl will get the storytelling they deserve.

6. In addition to giving Daryl and Carol their own character development and writing a compelling external plot (that treats the audience like they're intelligent), Caryl's relationship needs to be the emotional core of the show. We need to e x p l i c i t l y see them grow together as a romantic couple in ways that honor their shared history on the flagship show.

7. Well, the painful thing is there are so many nostalgic moments and story beats that were left unexplored between Caryl that I've been dying to see, but I don't even want Zabel to touch them because I think he'll just ruin them. He doesn't understand Caryl's story well enough to do it justice. Melissa needs more creative control.

He's the antithesis of our Chief Engineer, Charlie Tucker, who is undisciplined, a 'rebel' of sorts. The two men are frequently at odds. Reed is always trying to expand his weapons inventory, storing munitions in parts of the ship designated to Engineering. Tucker is constantly finding photon grenades cluttering his Jefferies Tubes. There just isn't enough deck space for both men.

Reed is filled with contradictions. Despite his near-obsession with regulations and munitions, he's also soft spoken, shy, and awkward around women.

Dominic Keating plays munitions expert Malcolm Reed on Enterprise, the guy responsible for watching the backs of the crew. Reed also goes down in the history books as the man who developed the first hand Phasers for the Star Trek universe. If Keating's face looks familiar to genre fans, it should: the actor has racked up an impressive lists of credits over the past few years with appearances on The Immortals, G vs. E, Poltergeist: The Legacy, Special Unit 2 and Buffy, the Vampire Slayer. Early one recent moment, trekgalaxy.com caught up with Keating in his Los Angeles home, where the easily-likeable actor shared his wit and insight into this next leg of the Star Trek adventure.

You have a very solid background in the science fiction genre.

It looks that way now, doesn't it?

Can you talk about your relationship with Science Fiction, and how it led you to your role as Malcolm Reed on Enterprise?

It is strange when you think of how much science fiction I've done in recent years. My manager pointed that out to me when we were in the middle of the audition process for Star Trek. He said to me, 'you're so right for this! You've done The Immortals, you've done Poltergeist and Buffy.' I thought, goodness, I suppose he was right in some way! It's not that I specifically set out to do only Sci-Fi, or even Star Trek. It was just another acting gig and another character. But having said that, yeah, I'm perfect for Star Trek when you look at what I've done in the past. I just hope there's a life after Star Trek - and a life in Star Trek, that I'm not just a Sci-Fi actor and that's all I'm going to ever do. 

What is life on Enterprise like for Dominic Keating?

It's very fun. I just love going to work there. It really is the best. I love it all. I came away from work last night, walking through the corridors of Paramount between the stages, and saw the sun setting on the Paramount sign and the famous water tower, and I just had to pinch myself.

So who is Malcolm Reed, and how much of him is Dominic Keating?

Well, ultimately, it's all you, isn't it? (Keating laughs) It's always extensions of you. And yes, I'm taking Malcolm Reed under my wing at the moment, because they haven't quite decided where he's going to go, and how dimensional he's going to be. As he was described in the breakdown when I first heard about the part, I actually thought I wasn't particularly right for it because he was written as being bookish, button-down, a real proper Brit, shy around women. And I'm certainly not shy around women. (Keating laughs) That's really not me. I was talking with Rick Berman when they offered me the part and we were discussing how Malcolm might be and sort of the avenues he might take. I mentioned that when I was in my boarding school in England, at around the age of 17 or 18, I was thinking at that time about not going to University and joining the army. My mother had come from an army family and I'd been a member of the cadet force at my school for several years and had really liked it. Then I told him that soon after that, in training, I drove a tank in Germany - and crashed it!

It's a good thing they didn't make you the pilot on Enterprise!

(Keating laughs) No shit. So that's who I'm taking Reed out of at the moment, me when I was going to join the army. Malcolm is an army man. He's a gun man, and as for the other stuff, the shyness - it's funny when somebody says they saw something of that in you, and if you're truly honest, you can own up to it and say, yes, I can be that way. That's what I'm doing at the moment. It's a very subtle osmosis, where you just start to 'chameleon' into the part. While seeing some of the rushes [daily takes] on the pilot episode we shot, I could sense it. I could see it in my eyes. That's me on the screen, but it's not me.

Can you explain the events that led up to you winning the role of Malcolm Reed?

My manager rang and told me what the part was the night right before the first audition. I'd been playing this very funky role on a new series coming out on Showtime, my hair was all chopped up and sort of funky-punky, and it had just grown out to the point that I could slightly sweep it back a bit. I put my hair back into more of a Star Trek style, put on this little costume that I thought I would wear to the audition - a black v-neck with black pants and a pair of those space-age molded boots that are hip now. And I called my girlfriend through to the bedroom and said, 'look at that - I look very Star Trek.' She went, 'you do!' I kind of got the feeling then.

That's when I had the mental note to tell myself that I could get this. Sure enough, I went in the next day and met Rick and Brannon and the word came back literally the next day that they really liked me for this, and that if I got any other offers for roles, I was to let them know first immediately. It was what they called a 'watch and advise', which got me excited. 

I went in a couple of days later to meet Jim Conway, who was going to direct the pilot, and I think I'd left the office twenty minutes when they rang up my manager to find out how much I cost. I had one more audition with the network. It was pretty painless. I had three auditions in all - it happened in ten or twelve days. There was a brief moment of heart-in-the-mouth, because when I went for the final audition to meet the Paramount execs, as we were walking out of that office, Rick Berman looked at me and said, 'So, Dominic, are you ready for the next seven years?' I went, 'Woah!' then I waited a week for them to contact me. Ron Suma had sort of intimated that I'd gotten the job, but he said it wasn't official until Business Affairs called through to carve things in stone. A week went by where there was some sort of machination at the higher level because the deal between UPN and Paramount hadn't been set [regarding which network would pick up Enterprise]. That was a hard week, I can tell you. Your mind plays tricks with you - like did he really say that to me? Did he really look at me and say seven years? Those seven years are going to go fast!

Yes, I can tell. We're already on episode 4, and it's only just started. 

Just what is happening in the fourth episode of Enterprise?

I can tell you that Trip, the Engineer, is getting pregnant! Make of that what you will. (Keating laughs) The makeup people have already been forewarned. They've been told that he has to have some sort of pregnancy appendage on the side of his torso. Some reptilian species impregnates him, and he's to be the carrier of their alien child. After reading what Charlie Tucker III is like in the series Bible, it doesn't sound like something he's particularly going to enjoy! No, God bless him! (Keating laughs) He'll have breasts on his forearms. The guy will never want to go out of the house again! Previous Starships were armed with photon torpedoes and Phaser banks. 

Enterprise is outfitted with missiles?

You're asking the wrong person - I just press the button! (Keating laughs) I don't know if they're photon torpedoes or a different kind of missile. I knew it was going to come to this - you've found me out. (Keating laughs). They're gray, and yes, they're actual projectiles. Remember that we're going back in time with this series, so we're shooting missiles. They're actual metal projectiles that come out of torpedo tubes on the ship. But of interest, I have the supreme Honor of actually introducing Phase pistols for the very first time in the pilot. There is a really creepy villain introduced in the pilot 'Broken Bow' called the Suliban. What can you tell us about them?

They can seep through anything, as it were. You know, I never actually saw one of them, now that I think of it. I did fire at an 'imaginary' one on the planet Rigel in the pilot episode while rescuing the captain, but it was added in later as special effects, so I never actually got to see one. I've read in the script, though, that they have the ability to be like chameleons, to take on backgrounds that they're standing in front of our clinging to, whether it's fabricated metal or balsa wood or whatever it may be. And they can seep through anything - literally - air ducts, keyholes, whatever.

So they are a mix of live action actors and special effects?

They have actors playing them. But the Suliban's antics are computer generated.

What would Star Trek fans be surprised to know about Dominic Keating?

I watched the original series as a child growing up in Leicester, and I loved it. I have lasting memories of the fried eggs falling on Spock's shoulders [in the episode 'Operation: Annihilate!']. Those episodes were fabulous. I did look at The Next Generation a little out of professional interest, because it had a British actor,

Patrick Stewart, who came to America to do it. Also that I'm an absolute golf freak. I adore golf. I live for golf. And now I live for Star Trek - which will allow me to play golf for a very long time to come!

I hesitate to use the term typical, because how many people get the chance to spend a day in outer space, but what is one of your days like on the set of Enterprise?

As an actor, it's a typical day on the set in a way. Being on a set is like being in the army. It's very regimented. It has a certain way and an only way of doing things, and therefore, everybody knows that they're all on the same page when they are doing what they are doing on a film set. There is that aspect of it. It's exactly the same on any film set wherever you go in that you know exactly what to expect. Now, with a Sci-Fi show like Star Trek in a franchise as powerful as it is that has the money it has to create a playground for actors to act in, it's second to none. It's extraordinary. The first day that I stood on the bridge set of the Enterprise, as I took a step up, I let my foot hover just momentarily over it because it was going to be the first step onto that playground. I let it all just soak in. The sets are amazing. I was on Stage 8 yesterday - I wasn't even in this scene, but the others were on this Nirvana planet, and in four days, the set designers completely changed Stage 8 into something complete with redwoods and trees and grassy brooks and I just had to walk through it for myself. It was really another world on a soundstage at Paramount Studios.

Star Trek sets are amazing!

You should see my armory. When I walked onto that set, it really touched me that they spent all this time and money building this space for me.

So is the Armory your main hangout on the ship?

Actually my main hangout is on the bridge. I'm there making sure everything's going swimmingly from my command post near the captain. But yes, you'll find me in the Armory over time, because they wouldn't have bothered building this beautiful and extensive set for just a few scenes. That's where the gray missiles are housed.

At this early stage, what is your relationship with your fellow cast mates like?

They suck and I can't stand them. (Keating laughs). I'm not kidding! And you can quote that. No, they're fantastic. We've all gelled very quickly. I'm sure we'll be friends forever. We have a very good understanding that if you've been with each other for five days and for fifteen hours every day solid, perhaps we don't want to call each other on weekends right now. But when we're actually there, we just have a ball. We are laughing all the time. It really is fabulous. And I'd like to give a heads-up to Scott Bakula, because as our captain and as the star of our show, he really has unwittingly set the precedence of being a terrific gent on the top of the show. That's got to have a really good trickle down or rush down effect on the rest of us. Scott doesn't even know that he's such a nice guy and such an actor's actor. He is there every step of the way. He's not a starry star who withers off camera, the kind that won't read lines with you. He's a proper guy.

Isn't he amazing in that he can jump from being a time-traveling scientist on Quantum Leap to the gay next-door neighbor in American beauty to being the captain of a starship so effortlessly?

He's an actor's actor, that's what I say. He has to have a time machine or some painting up in an attic somewhere that's getting very old because he looks better now than he did ten years ago on Quantum Leap.

He's extraordinary, isn't he? He's a very handsome man. I was watching a Quantum Leap the other day. You can discernibly see that there is some aging process that's happened with him, but it's not that he's older. He's more knowing now. I don't know how old he is - he's over forty - but he looks damn good for it.

Maybe Star Trek has something that injects youthfulness!

So who is the clown of the cast?

I guess that would be me. We all have a good clown-around. We all egg each other on. The first couple of weeks, the thing that got us howling was the 'shaking' when our characters went through meteorite storms or were hit by some other projectile. Some of us shook better than others, let's say. 'What are you doing over there? Are you shaking, or do you have to go to the Loo?' (Keating laughs). Jolene [Blalock, 'T'Pol'] set herself up as the ace-shaker, but she was shot down in flames, let me tell you.

Now that Enterprise is the lone standard bearer for the Star Trek franchise, are you aware how critical its success is, and what do you plan to do to make it unique?

Yes, I am aware. I got up to speed on the Star Trek franchise when I was cast and have a good sense of what mantle it is we're carrying. You know, Rick Berman and Brannon Braga are very smart, and just the very fact that they haven't put Star Trek in the title of this series is really smart, that they are now preparing an audience, and a loyal audience, for the fact that the franchise is moving on. And although it had its roots way back in the original series, it's now becoming its own life form. It's now becoming just Enterprise. You know, if one word could say Star Trek as well, that's it. I would imagine that the next seven years after our seven years won't have anything to do with what's come before.

But it will have a harking back to what we're doing now, and everything that's already been done. What can I do to insure that? To show up every day knowing my lines, having thought about how creative I can be today, and to not take any of it for granted. The minute you show up to work on a show thinking that you know it all and you have it all down, you're lazy, and I think audiences can see it. It has to be fun for us as well, and I really can't see when it won't be, even after seven years. The writing is so new and fresh - I don't know how they come up with these ideas. Even to put Trip in a pregnant position is perfect! I mean, the minute you hear that you say, 'well that's just fucking fantastic!' And high marks to them. It makes my job easy. But that's my commitment, that I keep it fresh so the audience will enjoy Enterprise.

One True Morty (part 2)

Sooo I think... there is... not evidence, per se, but some stuff that could be interpreted as indications that the "One True Morty" cult was a suicide cult.

My take on the above is this:

A) The title "One True Morty" in this setting full of clones should send alarm bells ringing in our heads. My guess is that the One True Morty was a Morty who presented himself as the original Morty all the clones were a copy of (but I also think he was a liar and that he was just another clone Morty).

B) The One True Morty... has... some powers, apparently...

...and, frankly, the only thing I can think of that would make any sense is the Operation Phoenix.

C) So, hear me out. Evil Morty knew about the Central Finite Curve since before S01E10, but from when we saw (part of) his backstory we weren't shown him finding out about the CFC. This wasn't his tipping point, he was already familiar with the concept. And yet it doesn't seem like the sort of thing Ricks would advertise to their sidekicks, and I'm wondering if the One True Morty is the Morty who actually learnt about this and began telling other Mortys...

D) ...Telling them, among other things, that he existed before the Citadel's creation, and had been outside the Curve.

That he had set up clone vats in a universe outside the CFC before the Citadel's dimensional drive took effect and the wall of the CFC took form...

...And that if they underwent a specific preparation process and then committed suicide in some right manner (my guess is probably by taking a Rick down with them), their consciousness would be transported in the clone vats waiting outside the Central Finite Curve (the... "next world").

E) Because, as we've seen, the corpses of Ricks and Mortys were literally necessary to bring the Central Finite Curve down:

(after Eyepatch Morty throws the dead Ricks' and Mortys' remains at the rift, it becomes larger)

F) My guess is, the One True Morty was just another traumatized Morty who, like Evil Morty, desperately wanted to leave. And yeah, he lied. He promised to all his followers freedom outside the Curve, but there was no way he could actually provide that. He was killing them to save himself, exactly like Evil Morty was doing.

G) I can't help but think that Evil Morty knew him personally.

Or at least he seems to have known a Morty (or Mortys) who Evil Morty once thought were above all this, who had integrity and goodwill and would never commit atrocities in a desperate bid to escape...

...and then witnessed them stoop into the lowest low...

...when something inside them died as well.

(I always thought in that moment we witnessed less something in Evil Morty snapping and more something in Evil Morty dying.)

H) Maybe, one of the reasons he wanted Morty Prime to escape with him was because he wanted to spare him what he considered an inevitable loss of integrity and self and morality inside the Central Finite Curve. He had seen that Morty Prime had already been sick and furious of his Rick once (to the point that he said "GLADLY" when directed down a path that would take him away from Rick C-137 but would have him strapped naked on a wall and tortured. GLADLY) and had also seen him care for other Mortys and wanting to free them.

Morty Prime was not a lost cause yet. He could escape with his morality and soul intact. Take the chance, Morty...!

...But Morty Prime stayed inside the Central Finite Curve.

Getting the feeling that the Theives Duo were hired to go through the house yet settle on the attic, to nab THE DAD'S STUFF given its all strewn about the house after they get whooped, and then the New Grounds Ending confirms it had me shaking. Had me wondering if that's what BOB was sent to do initially in the very first epsiode, but when Lila ran into him he was gonna get a snack. That the cult members backed off at mentioning the spider and the Candy Dealer notes them as having been lucky + the picture revealled of it having been the Dad's (plus Pelo mentioning it has eaten people before) is making thoughts mimic a windows 98 trying to run the Sims.

The Gregor and Moloch ship those working on the show go for and snuck reference to in the show. The "and they've never been married but they are SO divorced" vibes of their interaction here, how Moloch called him by name and would have only ever lied in the past due to Gregor not having Moloch's in kind [the devil a deciever to any word said] hooooo I don't go there but it's next door and it looks fun!

The foreshadowing with the drawings done with Dexter and it's accuracy + Pelo drawing Moloch possessing a lot of characters + also doing so with Eyes + the Other Drawing = F E A R AND EXCITEMENT!!!!!!!

THE EYES IN THE BUCKET STILL LOOK LIKE DEXTER'S AND ARE ACTIVELY MOVING (especially in the Ending Spider Scene) HE IS STILL THERE AND TRAPPED AND AAAAAAAAAA!AAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

The Ooga Booga Jumpscare was fascinating and done super duper well!!!! Wanna make a whole breakdown about why and how it worked better than any other so far. There are some layers and misdirection and it's built up really well! Plus what looks like a version of her on Jaune's TV foreshadowing what's gonna happen like it did before with Bob.

It makes me wonder if there's more parallels to Moloch based in the line "I can be ANYWHERE now!" After scaring the Audience. I have a theory that a part of his possession tactic is Fear. To enter someone's body who isn't willing they need to fear him and he can only get one such victim at a time (hence why only Roy and not the whole Hatzgang at once vs Skid and Pump at the same time with no difficulty as they let him in). It's why he Stalks and Stares (Patty, Ignacio) and consistently when we get to be around for when he goes for it, he *roars*. Not bite and claw but roars. He's put off and doesn't enter those that have no fear of him (Gregor, Rick, Ignacio) and I think it's because he CAN'T. It's why even when at his weakest he roared at Gregor. To break the chant, the concentration, to make the wounded and bleeding enemy falter and fear and let him in with that response of weakness. It fails, of course, but hoooo with anyone less devoted I don't think it would have.

The way Pump was distracted from opening up and being vulnerable with his sister and kept happy by the toy and the lie, while Skid has no such escape as his own heart to heart is burdened further by the sobs of his mom in a home that is no longer in any illusion safe with a shattered door and evidence of earlier break-in everywhere. These 2 have been diverging in small ways in their outlook on things for awhile now, but this episode's ending and scenes about parents, about knowing more and less than each other (The way Skid didn't know about Moloch not running but Pump did and how Skid started to ask what he meant, how Skid still associates all Happy Fellas as Stabby while Pump could see it was Dexter-specific because he could **see** through to what Dexter WAS according to the notes... if Gregor hadn't interrupted there may have been Words. Going forward, it feels like they're going to again.)

I cannot stress enough how much Kevin feels like he's being pushed further and further towards a total breakdown and that he NEEDS a coworker to help like Radford [AAAAAAAAAAA THEATRE MAN RETURNS I WAS SO EXCITED TO SEE HIM HE PLAYS OFF KEVIN SO SO WELL AAAAA] It's not an if so much as a When with the way his vision is Scribblifying so much (a treat for the eyes tho) and while he CAN cool off if nothing goes immediately wrong its just gonna keep going wrong.

Roy is having problems and given his parents and vibe of his family plus his contact to Skid and Pump, guessing it's likely tied to how it's status quo isn't sitting well and the need for escape with friends. Parents who are present yet Not in how it matters and how they're needed by the child. So glad he's willing to open up at all (the contrast from the second episode is staggering) but like Kevin it feels like he's building up to a bigger breakdown.

It is for Susie's safety and well being that she never met Moloch and yet she might well have been a huge fan given her enjoyment of demons! Have to wonder how she'd react to seeing the ashen form of Moloch in the attic if she ever went digging for what's been going on herself.

Ignacio may be any number of things and the picture with the dad is making me run in circles around the room I am seething with th3 need to shake him even though he'd shoot me point blank. Speaking of, the fact that he was carrying it on his person with taking out the trash and how he used it genuinely made me think that if Skid and Pump bothered him one more time he was going to pop 'em where they stood the same way he was so unbothered and at the ready I was wheezing XD

The oath Gregor uses portraying a Lord yet not a Father yet maintaining The Son, as well as a Sacred Sky, has me going no-clip on my chair. I am Not Normal about this and I cannot pretend to be I need the implications of this world's religions being impacted with Eyes having been ever-present STAT and the horror of the cult not being to a different God but the same as Gregor's, simply met by a bridge of heresy to meet mortals with the divine while still of flesh and bone and claim of Death....

I thought Evermore was bribing the hobos to blow up the church but now... now it feels more likely to be either Bob's place (seeing his corpse wheeled in the soundtrack video + that Patty was about to cut into him again when the kids interrupted+ Evermore asking for a specific body to be moved) OR the Mansion (not being invited into any cult and wanting John to shut up about it so he gets an unofficial, literal backalley deal going for some nobodies with no credibility to do the work for him). Evermore is the kind of vain who'd spill that he was in an exclusive group to brag and is also wonderfully insufferable with his blatant ego; the idea that he ISN'T part of the cult and his not knowing and terrible mayor strats only benifit the cult so they don't bother with the risk of somone in power knowing about them and his denial that somone as important as him would EVER be excluded if there WAS one which must mean there ISN'T just has such a good punchline and I hope it's true I really do.

THEY SHARE A VA, IS THE MASCOT GUY THE SAME CHARACTER AS THE BOB COSPLAYER CAUSE HIS BAD LUCK AND MISFORTUNE FEEL SIMILAR! Also the happy fella furthest left moves its eyes after the kids so uh. So uh they might've been on the money to destroy them cause looks like one is already possessed by Something and it also gives greater legitimacy to the internment of the one in The Candy Tube of Shame at Kevin's workplace gosh they're STILL BEING SOLD if they become A Problem beyond Dexter and that's when we get to meet Robert's little sister who has one....

The way Pelo has explained how Moloch got stuck and how the possession works means we KNOW Patty was tethered to her body and unable to do anything except watch as Moloch used her to kill (any by the mess and lack of remains) eat Michelle (mom's name in description cast list) to regain some power and begin to sate the prolonged hunger Moloch has been trapped in. It's how he was able to perfectly mimic her and Dexter. It's why her lower half is coated with so much blood it may as well be dyed the color. It's no wonder she's adamant to have a gun! Glad to see evidence of her still actively working with John and Jack on the mystery in the ARG images too.

That doctor, Mort, I don't know who he was talking with but while he's sus as hell I'm not so sure he was taking the call we see Ignacio make. There isn't a reason to be informing him about the priest, even if bother WERE in the cult- going straight to the mourge and opening with asking if the body had been moved feels like it was a micromanage from Evermore to be sure that what he asked for is happening in a timely way. Have to wonder if he's going to take Patty's place now with having a distinct full name and reoccurance in the episode as he does for 3 scenes.

Gosh I love the soundtrack I've been looping the playlist for it while writing all this, again, not well, so so many thoughts. This isn't even all of them but it's past 1 am I have been typing for over an hour gonna pause it at the realization that something DID curse the Candy Corner for the holy water to have worked as well as the fact that the red head kid, Lucky was super cursed for what we now know as LEGIT HOLY WATER to have had such an effect on him. It wasn't boiled it was in that pot to get as many of the kids crowding as possible, as we see the bottles only effectively splash a single person. A friend mentioned Gregor may not even directly see Lucky given the behavior towards the child is abnormal and as we see here he IS normal towards children, even with costumes he sees as mockery of the lord, so ignoring him crumpled on the ground and the siezing on the doorstep are strange outliers. ALSO LEARING ABoUT GREGOR'S FULL NAME AND THE MEANING AND THE RELEVANCE OF THE ANGEL WINGS IN THE CREDITS AAAAAAAAAAAA!! So much thought and care went into this, I love this series so much, thank you for asking my thoughts on it! ^^))

Rick was hunched over his workbench, working on god knows what. Morty went into the garage "Rick, I need your help with something." Rick looked at him "What?" Morty sighed "I'm having trouble with like this game..." Rick glared at Morty "Seriously? I have m-*burp*-ore important thing to worry about instead of a s-*burp*-tupid fucking game." Morty sighed, ready to accept his defeat, but then he remembered one important thing about Rick, his fragile little ego. Morty leaned against the wall as he checked his nails "I don't know why I asked you...you won't be able to do it." Rick twitched and Morty smirked. Got him. Rick rose up "There's nothing I can't do." Morty nodded "Mhm...sure, ok Rick. Whatever you say." Rick narrowed his eyes "Why are you saying it like that?" "Saying it like what?" Morty asked in a teasing tone, tilting his head. Rick snapped "Like that!" Morty said in his best mock innocent tone that he knew Rick hated "I'm not saying anything, I know you can do anything, well anything except..." Rick's fists clenched "Anything e-*burp*-xcept what!?" Morty smiled "Oh nothing..." Morty's smirk got wider as he heard the old man mumbling, he couldn't hear all of it, but it was something about "reverse psychology" "Morty" and "stupid little shit" Morty knew it would take only one more jab for him to fall into his trap, Morty started leaving the garage "It's fine Rick, I understand if you can't do it, I'll get someone else to hel-" Rick quickly interrupted "If I help you with that fucking game will you stop doing this fu-*burp*-cking shit?" Morty practically dragged Rick to his room by his arm. He basically hopped on the bed while Rick just sat at the foot of it. "Now sh-*burp*-ow me this game." Morty handed Rick the laptop and Rick took it. "Five Nights at Freddy's?" Rick coughed "Dumb" Rick coughed again "name." Morty rolled his eyes "As if you have better names! You literally just name everything 'booger aids!'" Rick defended "That's a better name than this!" Morty snapped "Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sure, whatever old man! Just start the night! I'm stuck on night 4." Rick started it and heard the phone guy's voice "Who is-" Morty waved his hand dismissively, "Just mute the call, he's only good for nights 1 and 2, other than that he's useless." Rick asked, "So if there's five nights, why the fu-*burp*-ck do you need my help if you made it this far?" Morty said, "Wellll there's technically 7 nights if you count the bonus nights." Rick rolled his eyes "So w-*burp*-hat do I do?" Morty instructed, "Well, there's 4 animatronics, well 5 if you count Golden Freddy but he doesn't show up all too often." Rick rolled his eyes "Ohhhh wowwwwww. 4 animatronics, this sounds realllyyyy difficult. I can see why you needed Grandpa's help now Morty." Morty rolled his eyes "You never played this so no judging ok!? It's harder than it sounds?!" Rick huffed and then made a gesture for Morty to continue. "So you have the camera, lights, and door. You need the camera for one animatronic in particular, but the more you check it the better. The lights let you know when an animatronic is nearby, and when you close the door, no animatronics can get it." Rick snapped "So why don't I just keep the door closed? There! Done!" Morty sighed "You have a limited power!" Rick sighed "That's not how power works!" Morty pinched the bridge of his nose "This is a game! It doesn't need to be realistic!" Rick groaned "But that's so fuck-*burp*-ing dumb!" Morty sighed "Look, just keep your power or else it's game over. The doors will open and the animatronics will get you!" Rick sighed "The doors would close! It takes power to keep the doors open! This is so fucking st-*burp*-upid and-" Morty quickly interrupted him, he didn't want to hear another one of his rants, "Look, that's just how the game is ok!? You don't have to analyze everything!" Rick crossed his arms and mumbled something about it being "stupid" Morty was about to continue, but then Foxy jump scared them. Oh. Right. He probably should've explained how to play the game before starting the night. Rick jolted back, nearly falling back on the bed, Morty winced, he forgot that his laptop was on full volume, Rick screamed "Jesus Christ! Who the fu-*burp*-ck was that?!"

"There's Foxy the pirate fox, he stays in pirate's cove." Rick sighed "FUCK! I'm scared of pirates!" Morty scoffed "Half the crap we've seen, and you're scared of pirates? Whatever, just check on him regularly and he shouldn't bother you." Rick yelled, "You don't think that might've been valuable information to tell me before I started the night, Morty!?" Morty put his hands up defensively "Well you know now!" Rick crossed his arms "Anything else I need to know before starting the night? Seems like you left out some imp-*burp*- ortant information."

Morty stated, "There's Bonnie the bunny, and Chica the chicken." Rick sarcastically remarked, "Realllll creative names there." Morty glared at him "You gonna let me finish?" Rick made a "Get on with it" gesture, and Morty continued "I'm clumping them together because they are similar, Bonnie and Chica will periodically come closer and closer, you don't need the cameras for them, just close the doors when you see them when you use the light, and eventually they'll leave." Rick complained "That makes no sense! They should stay by and use up all your power so the doors will open, even though the doors opening makes no sense becau-" Morty sighed "Rick please..." Rick scoffed "Just continue." Morty continued "Then we have Freddy the bear, y'know the main guy. He normally doesn't move, but he will kill you if all of your power runs out. He becomes active on night 4, which is the night I'm on, he tends to move slower if you're on camera, it's kinda unknown why, you don't have to have the camera on him though, unlike Foxy. You don't see him in the doors, so just listen for his laugh. Sound is important in this game, which is why I had it on full volume." Rick snapped "They made sound important in a game with loud jumpscares!? That's fucking evil!" Morty bit his lip, he hated that he had to agree with Rick on that one. But it's funny that Rick has killed people, yet considers loud noises in a video game evil. "Next up is Golden Freddy. He's kinda like Freddy, but yellow." Rick clapped slowly "Loving the creativity in this game...A+" Morty glared "Golden Freddy is actually older than Freddy, so there!" Rick asked, "What the fu-*burp*-ck are you talking about?" Morty continued "Well the animatronics have the souls of dead children because the guy who killed them stuffed them inside the suits and like each one-" Morty stopped himself from going full Matpat "I'm not getting into the lore- It's long and complicated if you're curious just look it up on YouTube, anyway Golden Freddy will sometimes show up in your office, just put your camera up quickly and he'll leave." Rick asked "Why would he leave? Why doesn't he just kill you there that makes no sense! He's literally in the office! He should ju-" Morty interrupted him, "It's a game. Don't question the logic. Want me to continue?" Rick sighed but nodded. Morty stated, "Ok that's it! Got any more questions?" Rick shook his head "Nope! This will be cake." Morty rolled his eyes with a fond smile, he hated that he loved Rick's cockiness at times. "Mhm..." Rick cocked on side of his unibrow "You doubtin' me?" Morty stifled a laugh "Maybbeeee." Rick rolled his eyes "Let's make a bet, if I beat this night, you have to do my laundry if a month." Morty rolled his eyes "If you don't, I get to be fully in charge of the next adventure, without using of one my punch cards." Rick rolled his eyes "You're on bitch! I hope you like doing laundry!" Morty just smirked as he took out his hand "Let's shake on it." They shook on it, and Rick started the night.

A few hours later, Beth called out "Rick, Morty, dinner!" Beth got no response, normally Rick would walk out and Morty would yell that he was coming, but this time nothing. She knew they weren't on an adventure since Beth instructed Rick to tell her before they went on an adventure. She checked the garage. Nobody was there. She checked Morty's room. She saw Morty's laptop open on Morty's nightstand, it was on some weird game called "Five Nights at Freddy's." It was on night 4. She looked on the bed and saw Rick had his arms wrapped around Morty while sleeping, both of his hands on Morty's back. Meanwhile Morty was holding onto Rick's arms. Rick's head resting on the top of Morty's head, while Morty's head was resting on Rick's chest, Morty was wearing Rick's lab coat, the sleeves way over his hands, with it buttoned up like an impromptu blanket. Beth rolled his eyes with a smile and closed the door quietly behind her "Sleepyheads."
