John B smiles watching you and Jj bound hand-in-hand into the aquariums entrance, already having gone through bag checks and getting your tickets hole punched. It’s still early enough in the morning that the crowd is small, a few eager littles with their caregivers peeking into tanks of fish and some parents holding their kids up to see the touch-tank of animals near the entrance.

“John B! C’mon!” Jj calls out, louder than anyone else in the place, and you giggle beside him. John B takes the hint and starts to jog up to where the two of you stand near a tank of turtles.

“We gotta get a pic for Kie!” You exclaim with a pull on John B’s pant leg, he nods and quickly reaches to grab the polaroid camera Sarah let you guys take to the aquarium to capture moments, alongside John B’s phone camera of course.

“Okay, you two smile.” Jj hauls you into his side with a massive grin that you easily mirror. This trip has been in the works for nearly two months now, trying to plan around the new school year, job schedules, etc, has been difficult but you finally did it. You’re all here.

“Let’s start exploring, we can take some more pictures.”

Eventually you all end up in front of the massive tank of sharks, it’s bigger than all the other tanks, stock full of sharks that look to be having a ‘rad time’ according to Jj in his tween headspace. It’s easily your favorite part of being at the aquarium, kneeling on the wood bench to stare up at where the sharks swim around.

“Like what you see bug?” John B places a gentle hand on your back, glancing behind his shoulder for a moment to check that Jj is still occupying himself with the hand sanitizer dispenser on the wall. He should probably stop Jj, but, he’ll get to it in a minute.

“Yeah, but they don’t have my favorite one.” You’ll still never get over seeing this many sharks this up close, but it’s always been a dream of yours to see your favorite species of shark in person.

“Which one’s your favorite?” John B already knows the answer, because of course he does, he’s your caregiver and has listened to you ramble about sharks plenty of times- but he likes the way your eyes light up at the opportunity to talk about your hyperfixation.

“The basking shark! It’s so big John B, like, this big!” You outstretch your arms dramatically as John B nods along with a grin.

“That’s pretty big.” You nod excitedly, shifting to sit back against your calf’s and turning to face John B head on.

“Mm, the biggest! But they’re really nice, they have little throats so they only eat plankton and small stuff like that. And- and there’s a video of them breaching like dolphins do which is so cool!” Just as you’re about to demonstrate what breaching is to John B with your hands, Jj comes barreling into your side and his hands instantly reach to wipe globs of hand sanitizer onto your arms.

“Ew Jj!” You squeal and climb into John B’s lap as Jj laughs across from you.

“Jj how many times do I have to tell you not to wipe things onto other people?” He shrugs, swiping the rest of the hand sanitizer onto John B’s shorts, leaving behind a wet streak that’s dark against the khaki colored material.

“Whatcha lookin’ at?” A smaller coral shark swims by Jj’s face when he turns to stare into the tank, making a small noise of amazement at the creatures in front of him.

“Sharks. They’re so cool, right?” Confident you won’t get any other substances wiped onto you, you climb off of John B to settle next to Jj and peer up into the tank with him.

“So sick.” He mumbles in agreement.

John B takes the moment to step back from the bench and snap a photo of the two of you from behind. He knows he’ll get this one framed when he gets home, and he’ll keep the polaroid version in his wallet until Sarah inevitably steals it from him for her own collection.

Mama Betty + Papa Simon Headcanons

Betty will often take you out of the house and just to anywhere. Whether that be the park, library, or just on a walk, she loves going outside with you!

Simon loves to explain ancient objects and artifacts to you. You’ll often ask seemingly dumb questions to get your papa rambling.

Simon’s usually good at stopping tantrums, while Betty will just give you whatever you want to stop the tears, usually out of panic. Simon also gives in to this as well at times.

Betty loves when you help her cook. You are usually the mixer/taste tester. She’ll gladly infodump about what spices work and don’t work for a dish.

Whenever your stuffy accidentally tears, Simon’s the person to go to for repair. He’ll often add small embroidery to the stuffy when you take a nap.

Betty can usually pick you up and cradle you, while Simon’s not strong enough. Betty and you often tease him about it.

Simon and Betty will show you pictures of them (pre-canon) and share stories of their explorations

As a prank, you’ll often hide Betty and Simon’s glasses somewhere around the house. They both know where you’ve placed them, but they like to act dumb and “plead” with you to help them find the glasses.

(Gonna add some post(??) Fionna and Cake Multiverse stuff where Betty is turned back into a human and stays in Ooo with everyone else!)

You often have playdates with a regressed Marcy and Fionna. Most play dates end with Simon being “forced” into a princess tea party. Betty will gladly take photos and tease him. Marcy and Fionna are also your sibbies!

He's a absolute sweetie whenever he's regressed!

He doesn't have a set age he will regress to but he usually regresses between 3-6

He's always coloring and rambling!, he'll color little pictures for his caregiver(s) and give it to them!

Stuffies is a huge must for this lil prince, he has a whole collection!!, even a whole closet full in his regression room

Sometimes he's bratty, pouting and whining when he doesn't get something he wants but eventually calms down when his caregiver(s) soothe him

He loves any nickname that has to do with prince or kitties!

Such a hyper active little..

He's a hyper cg!, always trying to get his little to play or go shopping with him

If he has a little that's really sleepy all the time or just not as hyper as he is, he'll go at their pace

🚀 ; I'd like to think he's also a flip! But since I think he'd be a little bit on the little side, there may be a few Headcanons of him as a Regressor than a caregiver (only by 2-3)

⚠️ ; slight angst (feeling the need to be mature and/or perfect for the sake of family and peers), Regressing due to stress and anxiety, exorcising (mentioning a few times) + some stuff may not be canon as I'm not too far into the manga myself. Such as his relationship with hanako-kun. (Which i headcanon them as friends just because)

🐈 ; he regresses quite often than not. Mainly due to his family pressuring him about his exorcist 'job' he does. Growing up quickly to pursue his families plan to be the top, and best exorcists known to man.

🐈 ; as the oldest he always was more the father figure of Kou, than a big brother to him. He doesn't mind really. But he still wishes he remembered more of his childhood outside of being the babysitter for his absent parents

🐈 ; his little age is 1-4. Sometimes he could be 6-8 if he's not too deep into his regression state.

🐈 ; when he's little he loves anything paranormal. And is absolutely obsessed with ghost busters. He will dress up into anything that would be themed "ghost hunter" worthy and go capture ghosts with his broom.

🐈 ; despite his differences with hanako when it comes to the big kid stuff, he quite enjoys his company when regressed. Heck, hanako will even play along if he felt like it

🐈 ; has no interest in having a caregiver. However a babysitter is probably something he'd budge on. It's not that he wouldn't want a CG, but he always says; "I just need to figure out my own problems first"

🐈 ; Kou is his babysitter/sibby/playmate! They trust eachother to death. So of course they both trust eachother with their Regression. (I headcanon kou as an age regressor—)

🐈 ; love the attention. He craves it, he wants it. Call him Prince and he'll be the happiest baby there is. Just praise him for literally anything, he'd end up being one clingy kiddo

🐈 ; when he isn't an age regressor he's a 24/7 caregiver. And an amazing one at that. Despite him being power hungry to succeed at his job, he would do anything for his little one.

🐈 ; sometimes full of himself, but he's not doing it on purpose. He wants to be the best caregiver for you, and since he grew up to be, well, perfect. he wants to be a perfect caregiver as well

🐈 ; doesn't seem to realize he's a spoiler. (Daily shopping, getting you too many toys, getting you everything you ask for, etc). Though he doesn't seem to mind if asked

🐈 ; he's not a good comforter.. but that doesn't mean he doesn't try. He always listens to what you have to say, and tries to understand your feelings. If that doesn't work he usually turns on your favorite show/movie/etc in attempt to help you feel better

🐈 ; outside of being a total spoiler, he can also be a babier. He doesn't try to do it as much if you don't like the idea of his babying— but when he does he will do it in a more protective-over-your-physical-being way. (Ex; ,"hey! Watch their head!" Saying this while hanako and Nene toss books at one another for.. some reason

🐈 ; absolutely refuses to exorcist anything or anyone when his little is regressing. For obvious reasons, he doesn't want to get all serious when he's on the job and babysitting his little

🐈 ; doesn't understand gifts. Give him stuff like buttons, rocks, pile of dirt, a stick, anything random, he wouldn't get it. He'll accept them, but most of the time he doesn't understand it. Once when you gave him a stick (maybe for a game you were playin, or something) and he ended up just throwing it for you to catch it. He doesn't understand but.. he has spirit I guess

Also thinking of a baby sibling that cries for their big sibby for comfort. But also a big sib that wants their baby sib for comfort. Like big sibby haaaaates being away from baby sib and just constantly asks when they get “their baby” back.

Their big sibby is THEIR sibby!! The babie loves them, they might not always understand what the older sib is rambling about (like, vibeo game facts, or the big kid movies they've watched) but they love listening!

So, if older sibby has to go somewhere (maybe the store and babie stays home) oooh babie sib is near inconsolable! They don't understand that they'll be back, they think sibby is gone foooorever😭

But the same for older sib! The whole time they're gone, they're asking how much longer until they're home and they see stuff that reminds them of the babie sib and that makes them miss 'em!
