OK here's another idea (as always feel free to disregard): children take a while to figure out how to word things politely and even to tell white lies. One of my relatives mentioned how she took her daughter to a clothing store and tried out a dress in front of her, and the girl said "That looks pretty!" And her mom was so flattered and praised her daughter for being kind. Then her daughter said, "Thanks! I was going to say that it makes you look fat, but then I remembered to be polite." LOL this reeks of Anya. Roasting Franky. Or Fiona. Or Twilight. Or Yuri. Or Damian. (Def not Yor cuz she's perfect)

It's funny when the character ai chat bots arose like 'oh I can finally talk to my comfort character with this!' weak. Anyone can do that. I mold my comfort character out of my leftover brain juice and force them to live my life

The ads for those bots have always been ironic to me. Even outside of the fictives in my system, I've always been the type to have fun imagining my favorite characters just... doing things in the real world and talking with me. You don't need a chatbot to talk with your comfort characters, you just need the power of your imagination and good guide on what to do if they turn sentient!

Agent 8 is my adorable baby boy baby. He must be protected. On that note, I think 3 stays up with him and comforts him when he’s having flashbacks or anxiety stuff, even though she’s not very good at it, she always has a spare blanket. (Also he self-soothes by stroking her hair tenticles) he’s always got a cup of hot chocolate to help her when she’s down, they deserve hurt comfort!

On a separate note it’s so rare to find someone who likes agent 24 with the lil guys I played as! So this is exciting!

Fun(?)fact. Eight almost never has any anxieties about his past! His strong emotional control even helps the rest of the new squidbeak deal with their problems. (hes big brother coded) (god hates him because he is an unbothered king and pretty faced, so he is punished with the horrors)

But I can see both of them having conversations at night about the consequences they've had that are out of their control. Like memory loss (Eight) or exposure to more serious problems that simple Inklings never thought they'd worry about (Three)... At the end of the day they are just two young sillies.

I also appreciate how Loid, as an adult, does all that he can to comfort Anya and vice versa. And I was so proud of him at the end when he decided that he'll seize his own happiness cuz he bloody deserves it.
