You always write the most out of the box plots and plot twists like I think I'm getting somewhere and bam! Something else happens that I would have seen coming if I wasn't so dumb 🤭 Thank you for writing actual stories and actual plots for Ateez! I'm sure you could take any of your fics and publish it as its own book. All of them have the potential.
(If you have been charmed by my flattery, might I get a hint of what's next in store? Simply cannot wait.)
-🦄
omgg ahhaha thank you :')) no you're not dumb dw lol it happens! thank you for the love!
i hope i can keep writing actual stories/plots for ateez dfghjkfhg that's honestly the highest compliment i can receive so thank you sooo much <33 this brain isn't running out of plots for my eight gay pirates anytime soon hehe (there is honestly such a lack of actual stories and plots lately in general)
since i have been charmed, but not enough to spill the whole tea (kidding i just don't want to spoil anything imp):
Light (oneshot) ??seonghwa x ??reader (try guessing the trope you'll fail) also i've just started this (5k done) and i just hope i can finish it smoothly it's a tough one ngl
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Leaders (series) mafia au, very political, very plot heavt, kinda dark, slow burn, 80k words done and we're like only barely 40% into it oops (i think now is the time to reveal that it is indeed ot8? since i'm spoiling might drop some sort of a teaser soon once i cross that 50% threshold)

Would you ever let Lance on this blog? Like let him answer a few questions? Kinda like Lance takeover? :)
Oh god. He would absolutely vandalize my account and pretend to be me while saying some embarrassing shit. That is my guess as to how he would absolutely piss me off. Would he actually do those things? Only he knows.
Now he has taken my communicator a few times and has typed out things on this blog, however I always have been able to edit and make it clear it was Lance and not me. I’m also not sure as to what questions he would be up for answering. He’s more sensitive than I am with his feelings, since he likes to hide them behind a veil of irony and misdirection. So some of his answers may not be as straightforward as mine are.

"surprise i have feelings and you just hurt them" is so good
Thank you anon-dearest! 🥰🥰🥰
As I was given free reign, and also was too unreasonable for self control—I didn't only write it way longer than it should have been (250w per prompt LOL) I also fully rewritten in afterwards :')
Obikin || 1,500w || Obi-Wan & Anakin formed a new Force Bond and Obi-Wan has to deal with an increase in Force Migraines poor man
▾▾▾
“Surprise, I have feelings and you just hurt them.” Anakin spits the words out angrily, punctuating each word with a sharp hand gesture.
There’s heat rolling off of him in waves, it’s a tangible thing in the Force to anyone who is even mildly attuned to it. Even small living organisms would try and stir clear from someone so prominent in the force while they’re emitting such waves of emotions. It’s unsettling to all who is untrained, unable to recognize where and why the thing they are sensing is coming from. To someone who had even just begun their training, this would be a deafening roar. As for Obi-Wan, who had happened to share a somewhat-training-but-not-bond with said individual…. It’s destructively overwhelming.
There’s a pulsing migraine building up at Obi-Wan’s temples, swiftly spreading in pulses of pain through his forehead and head, blearing his vision in a way that is usually reserved to extreme battle fatigue. Obi-Wan’s patience is not only thinned out, but fully gone by this point. The pain, and the previously failed mission do not help. Anakin’s need to prove himself had cost them an important battle and speaking of Anakin’s feelings is truly not the thing they should be concerned most with—
“I think it’s hardly a surprise Anakin” he hears himself say more than he actually thinks through the words, he hardly manages to care as much as he probably should given how violate Anakin anyways is. “You are, more than less, hammering them against the minds of anyone unfortunate enough to be within the standard hour distance from us.”
Anakin’s mouth snaps open, there’s blotchy redness across his cheeks, he seems to not find the words to describe precisely how angry Obi-Wan’s word just made him. Silencing Anakin would be a feat to be commended on a normal day, if only that was true for his Force Signature as well. A fresh wave of emotions crush against his battered shields, straining them beyond their capacity.
The moment he feels the first crack run through, is the same moment they collapse completely.
Anger, hurt, betrayal, and…
Obi-Wan’s mind is momentarily blinded by the whirlpool of emotions washing over and sucking his own mind in. There’s too much of it, all at once, all different. The indignant anger, the vulnerable hurt, the deep sense of being abandoned and uncared for, the—
Obi-Wan whimpers silently. It’s a sharp exhale more than anything, yet it’s more than enough to alert Anakin. He might have found it endearing, how quickly Anakin’s attention had shifted from himself to him, if not for the crushing wave of new emotions, even more absolute in their intensity.
Worry, anxiety, fear, anger, confusion, fear, worry—
Obi-Wan feels like he might lose his mind within them.
“Stop,” he snaps at same time as Anakin had reached out for him. The boy pulls his hand away as if hit. Obi-Wan should care for this, care for how he feels more than how he himself feels at the moment….
Hurt, confusion, anger, hurt— anxiety, fear— fear—
Anakin’s emotions spiral into a deeper, more violent vortex of darkness, a never ending cycle, one emotion swallowing the tail of its predecessor, being reborn into the next one, each time bigger, stronger.
Oh Force. Obi-Wan thinks in desperation. This is too much.
“Master?” Anakin’s Force Signature is dripping fear, there’s an urgency to it that centers Obi-Wan enough to realize, with great shame, that his own pain started bleeding through their not-quite-training-bond— or…Force Bond, if he was honest enough. Call a Bantha a Bantha.
“Master, what is wrong, why are you…?” he reaches for him again, stopping quickly and retrieving his hand away. Anakin opening and closing his fist draws Obi-Wan’s attention. He looks like he’s about to blow up, and that, Obi-Wan knows, is something that would certainly echo even louder in the Force.
“Anakin please,” he reaches out to him, despite the inherent risk of touch increasing the intensity of the Bond. He must balance the boy long enough to give himself the opportunity to gather his shields into anything resembling those of a Jedi Master. That, or leave. He is not pained enough to be that cruel. Doesn’t ever plan to be. He braces himself instead.
“Dear One,” his knuckles touch Anakin’s cheek briefly, the word of endearment is strained, forced to some degree. It’s the one that never fails to get a reaction, uncover a meeker, more gentle side of Anakin. “You are deafening me” he gives the Bond a light, barely there nudge.
Anakin jumps at that as if zapped. Eyes wide, his face shifts through a number of complex thoughts, faster than what could register or broadcast emotionally through the Bond.
Suddenly, the storm is gone. What Anakin calls shields and Obi-Wan chides as only a suggestion of such is now a durasteel tight and not leaking anywhere. The silence that follows is deafening in its own right. He has to muffle the groan of relief, not wanting to rile Anakin again
“Thank you.” Obi-Wan smiles, pained. He knows that the migraine will only worsen now that it was set off, he still can appreciate not being radiated by a small sun through it, though.
“Excellent shielding, Padawan.” He sounds sarcastic even to his ears, even though he doesn’t mean to be. Anakin doesn’t react to it, looking more troubled than angry now, a deep crease between his eyebrows.
“I’m…” Anakin bite his lower lip, still fuller than most despite him well and truly out of his teenage years. Obi-Wan should not be noticing those things. “I didn’t mean to…” his cheeks are darker now, he looks ashamed. The aftertaste of Anakin’s emotion’s linger in Obi-Wan’s mind. Guilt. The last clear emotion Obi-Wan managed to decipher. Guilt for hurting him.
“I know.” Obi-Wan says curtly, he hopes that not unkindly. “I’d appreciate it if we could discuss the matter when I’m a little less…” he gestures at himself with what he hopes is the appropriate amount of self deprecation. There’s many reasons for Anakin’s lack of control, not all are good, but he still is a knight, still is learning.
There’s not a single good excuse for his own lack of mastery of himself.
“Obi-Wan, the Bond—” Anakin starts, disregarding Obi-Wan’s request in favor of what to his mind, is no bound far more urgent. The Bond. It had taken months for Obi-Wan to notice, the budding start of something new, growing in a different place than the long severed training Bond, developing over the months spent on joint missions on this endless war.
It seems that, as Obi-Wan had suspected, Anakin had managed to miss it out entirely.
“Not now, Anakin.” Obi-Wan’s voice sharpens, he should feel more guilt for the way Anakin’s shoulders jump up and tense.
“Fine, whatever…” Anakin mutters, looking away, glancing back and then away again. “Feel better.” He says with more hesitation than such a simple wish should warrant for. This time, Obi-Wan feels the full extent of guilt. He was too strict with him, those past few months were strained beyond what either one of them had wanted. He needs to speak with him, properly, make amends, properly.
Not now though, not while his head is splitting into two and his Force Signature is shaking after Anakin ground it so relentlessly. Knowing that Anakin didn’t mean to, doesn’t change the reality of things, his Force Signature can be downright oppressive if left unchecked. It’s not so felt when he himself is in the state for proper shields, however the repeated missions, the lack of sleep and the loss of the recent planet… were factors that are hard to ignore.
He needs to rest. He needs to meditate. Then he’ll be fine.
Obi-Wan refuses to acknowledge, even now, that what would bring the most immediate relief would be severing the Bond. Today showcased just how dangerous it is, how out of control it is, how out of Obi-Wan’s control it is. It all makes sense, any one following logic would have done it. A bond developed without their conscious choice in the matter, one that is not appreciate for Jedi to have.
The only thing that makes sense, is to end it. Yet this is the only thing that Obi-Wan will not do, is unwilling to do. He will not severe another Bond with Anakin. The consequences of the first time still too fresh in his own mind. Both for their relationship and…himself.
“Thank you, Anakin.” he says politely, hoping that he looks more collected than what he feels like. He refuses to think of this further for today. Giving Anakin the barest of hand waves, he turns and walks off.
He needs to rest. He needs to meditate. Then, he’ll be fine…

How would each Dimitrescu celebrate Valentine's day if they do ?
Does Alcina date ?
They do! The girls are all sappy romantics even our lovely ice queen Bela is not above melting when a person knows how to get to her they’re all just very cute like that
Alcina: I don’t think I talked about it before but I do sometimes headcanon her seeing someone and that woman is pretty much the daughters stepmother because of how involved she is with them.
Alcina is a material woman and she loves h wrong how her partner loves her as well as receiving gifts.
I’d like to think that they met through business and it was the slowest burn to ever slow burn.
She isn’t always there but the daughters know that their mama’s heart is already captured by the woman who comes around a few times a year.
Not quite dating and not casual by any means; the woman has a very special place in castle Dimitrescu and everyone knows it.
Bela: She loves it when her partner is extravagant and not sparing anything to show her how important she is (our girl needs that validation) she loves attention and getting hyped up. She enjoys a long romantic night that starts at a high end hotel’s restaurant and ends in the hotels suite all the way to the next day or two (depending).
Bela loves attention but she’s somewhat shh about me it right demanding it (the opposite of Daniela in that regard). Like her motjer, she loves both explicit love confessions, and getting pampered.
She may come as aloof and uncaring but Bela is the opposite of that. She’s emotional but reserved. She knows of her position and she will never bring shame to her mother and to House Dimitrescu.
Tl;dr take her out for dinner and tell her how much you love and appreciate her with a few gifts and girl is slowly becoming undone and will be in your bed for the next 48 hours.
Cassandra: Not shy by any means but she is more private for sure. Cassandra is not about being out in public and letting the whole world see what she and her partner is up to.
She enjoys grand gestures. Her partner booking the entire place is one way to show her how much you love and appreciate her.
Other ways to enjoy a night full of privacy and passion is to invite her on a private yacht where everything is already set for the days ahead. It’s intimate and just the two of you. After dinner in the middle of the sill sea, there are countless ways for you to enjoy yourselves.
“Tell me which your prefer,” you whisper in her ear. “The stars above, or the stars I’ll make you see,”
And you don’t stop there. After all, you have all night to enjoy yourselves, and you both know that you’re both more than capable of going for several rounds before exhaustion would take over.
Daniela: Daniela loves planning for special dates as well as be invited to them! But on this special day, you want it to be special so you really go out of your way to make her happy (which isn’t hard because Daniela is a simple girl.
She loves it when you tell her how lovely she is. Daniela, despite her boldness and directness, is a bit shy when it comes to this kind of things. As long as you’re in the offensive, armed with words of affection and gestures, she is a blushing giggling mess.
It only gets her more riled up for later. Because while she’s red in the face, heat is also forming in other parts of her body and she will show exactly how much your words are affecting her when you’re alone later on.

I just noticed since future society came out, every single outfit nnoitra wears, he has his tits out in some way. Why is he so zesty
Tumblr media
❝ 'Da fuck ya talkin' 'bout? ❞ Actually, this was not the first time he'd gotten this ( comment? ). It was always strange to him when he had to explain some simple, basic facts. Nnoitra wasn't a smart guy by any means, and having to explain things to others... It wasn't something that should be necessary. Yet, here he found himself having to state something basic. ❝ I'm a man, so I ain't got tits. I got a chest, 'n there ain't nothin' sexual 'bout a guy's chest. ❞ There. Easy, basic facts. Since WHEN was a guy showing off his chest "zesty". Nnoitra sure as shit didn't think of Grimmjow as slutty just because he wore his jacket open. A lot of the Arrancar didn't like having to wear uniforms, since they'd never worn clothes as Hollow, making the sudden mandatory uniforms feel uncomfortable. Nnoitra personally didn't mind wearing clothes ( especially pants, he enjoyed ), but he didn't expose his chest to be zesty. What the fuck.

How would Magnifico feel if he met another magic-user? Since magic appeared to be forbidden in the kingdom of Rosas (used by another other than him), does he view other magic-users with suspicion? How did he come to learn magic to begin with? Did he learn it purely for pragmatic reasons (i.e., it could serve as a useful tool to further his ambitions) or was there ever any sense of wonder?
@seaprofound || thank you for these great questions! :)
magnifico has a particular rule against magic users within his own kingdom because he wants to be the one sorcerer and therefore the one person his people can rely on (alongside amaya, of course; she handles most of the... diplomatic aspects while mags is over here messing around with magic like he's a kid playing with legos lbr). when it comes to magic-users in other kingdoms, he's not bothered; most of the time, he's intrigued and also cautious, but as long as he can manage an alliance with that kingdom... he doesn't fear them treading on his toes—
and hey, if they dare to tread on his toes...? he has that book of forbidden magic for a reason ;) we know he's not above using it :D shakes him shakes him shakes him shakes hi-
the learning of magic was definitely spurred by the devastation of his original kingdom (what @howthesleeplesswander and i named Primevère), but before that ever happened, mags has always been intrigued by it. y'see, the problem is that before reality punched him in the face and made him get his life together, he never had a real "drive" to push him to pursue anything earnestly. unfortunately, it took the passing of his family and the destruction of Primevère to wake him up (wake him up inside) and really get him to dig in and do something—which, as we all know, is dedicate himself wholly and completely to learning the thing he was... ehhhh... too lazy to commit to beforehand
as far as how he learned magic: all self-taught. lots of poring over tomes he found (both in libraries of neighboring kingdoms and in some fun ancient ruins he got to explore owo/), experimentation, and plenty of "wow i definitely almost just blew myself up there" moments. but he's done it! so it all ended up working out for him in the end, yeah? c:

wuh ohs!! sum of task force 141 is now in nevada!! and with player!! whatever will happen??
this iz an exxcuse to talk about Ghost Soap and Price abouts their reaction to nevada and our token nevadeans™
( this is about call of duty if ur unsure just wanted to place thiz lil note )
Oo, I was wondering if I was gonna get an ask about these guys. :)
To start off with, I think a large part of the 141's reaction to this whole situation depends on if they're also self-aware to some extent. You only play as Gaz and Soap within the MWII remake's campaign, so they're the best contenders for this since you'd have direct control over them. However, you're also in close proximity with Price and Ghost when you play as them, so given the whole "being near the Player's vessel = feeling some warmth" rule, they'd have to be aware that something's up. Plus, who knows if they'd be self-aware themselves from the multiplayer (as everyone in the 141 is an operator).
(More Under the Cut - this got extremely long. Basically fic length lol. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
If they were, then you'd be met with less skepticism when you explain who you are, and they would probably grow to trust you within a shorter period of time. It's less of a shock because they know you've always been there, fighting by their sides.
However, we're not gonna go too far into that (for now anyway lol) as this is very unlikely; the only reason the grunts became aware of you was that the Auditor decided to strengthen your connection to Nevada, and the world of CoD doesn't have that. The Employers' growing need to be closer to you motivated the Auditor and the others to tether your realities together in a stronger way, while I can't think of any reason for that to be the case with Task Force 141's universe.
In any case, you're definitely going to be questioned by them when they find you because they know damn well this isn't normally what Nevada looks like - or any place on earth, for that matter. And as the only human being they've seen in this wasteland so far, you might have something to do with them being there.
That's the line of logic they're coming from, and while it's completely understandable, it's also false to some degree. (Yes, you know who they are. No, you don't know why they're here. No, you don't know how they got here either, etc, etc.) This is where you have to basically give them a summary of who you are and what your role technically is in games. While this definitely gives them something of an existential crisis (nothing like being told your reality is nothing but a short game made for another human's entertainment), it definitely clears the air. You even talk about how you have positively zero experience with combat (before now, anyway), and reveal all of your more supernatural abilities with little hesitancy. You're laying all your cards out on the table for Price and his men to pick through as they please, and your being an open book is enough to get them to steer the conversation away from the interrogation-like territory it began with.
This opens the door to actually forming bonds with the 141, and although it will take quite a while for all of them to trust you like they would one of their own (Ghost especially), it'll happen. However, the closer you get with the Task Force, the less your own grunts feel the need to be amicable with them.
Even beginning their interactions, I don't think the boys would like them at all. Disdain would be a more fitting word; not only do these armored, dangerous people just decide to interrogate you (who's perfectly innocent), but they have the nerve to stick around afterward and get all buddy-buddy with you. It's annoying at best, and rage-inducing at worst.
To get to how they'd react to the Taskforce and vise-versa, we'll start with 2BDamned.
Doc is the leader of the four grunts you're with, and you're his superior in every way he believes possible. He's the first to praise your strategic expertise to the 141 in a way that's professional (he's sure you warranted more than the excited gloating of Deimos or Sanford), and will subtly brag about how much you've helped them. Yet, he finds himself getting unreasonably angry when the Captain of the 141, Price, does the same. And now that Price knows that you're the reason Gaz and Soap have managed to stay alive as long as they have (one of the reasons ofc - they're skilled, but he still likes ribbing on them), he's immensely grateful towards you, which translates into explicit trust and praise on his part. Not too much of the latter, but it's enough to convey how much he appreciates your help.
But Doc subconsciously takes Price's sort of mirroring of his own actions as something of a threat. Price has almost the same exact role in his group as Doc does with your group, so his doing all of this must be an attempt to sway you towards the 141 and himself. Plus, it's just not the same. Price's comments do not truly reflect how grateful he should be towards you, or how much value you have. So the fact that you take notice, even looking away bashfully before saying thank you whenever you're hit with a short compliment from the man, is enough to boil his blood. Even worse is that he knows what he's thinking is very slightly irrational, but the jealousy (and possessiveness) is enough to override any real rationality here.
Honestly, what makes it funnier is that Price actually respects 2B in his own way. It's obvious that you're the boss here, but he knows better than anyone how difficult it is to wrangle a group of very different people to get them to work together. So, both the Captain and 2BDamned view each other as similar, but for very different reasons. Where in one it inspires a sense of relatability, or even empathy, in the other it just fills them with jealousy.
As for Soap and Gaz, Doc finds them strikingly similar to Deimos and Sanford in how they'll joke around and be very open with you (Soap more so than Gaz). It's annoying because now he has to deal with two more outgoing people trying to get your attention all the time, and succeeding most of the time. While he's trying to find a way to peel them (and his own squad, to be frank) away from your side so you can get some time away with him to decompress, they're just content with trying to get to know you both better. It's not like Doc wants to make himself appear impolite, but he has zero patience for their antics. With Sanford and Deimos, he kind of has to have a good relationship with them for work, but the last thing 2B needs is two other people who have no consequence on his mission trying to impede it. Or at least, that's the justification he uses for being obtuse around them in response to their lackadaisical attitudes.
Although, it's not like Soap really cares about what opinion Doc has of him. In his eyes, their main priority is to (a) find a way to get home and (b) protect you (since you're not only their one ticket home but a really nice civilian who he wants to be friends with). So he'll just ignore whatever the tall grunt does, unless it comes out as a threat of course. Gaz feels a bit more threatened, probably because of all those parallels Doc has with his Captain, but he follows the lead of the others in his group by acting politely and disregarding any words and such against him. Plus, given how he's seen you chide Doc for being impolite (and the man give a rushed apology at that - which is really funny), he doubts anything more will come of it. Things are a bit tense, but that's alright.
With Ghost, I feel like the Lieutenant would instantly realize that there's some underlying reason why 2B has some restrained hostility towards the 141, and that it likely has to do with you. After being through what Ghost has in his history, he's got a pretty good "bullshit detector", so of course he'd notice how the grunt tenses up whenever you're mentioned, or how his grip tightens on whatever he's holding whenever you laugh with one of Soap's jokes. He thinks it's kind of weird, but it's obvious all of your grunts have a thing for you, so it makes enough sense. And he can put up with that. But what he can't deal with is any threats made to the 141. So he'll always be there watching, keeping an eye on things in case 2B or any of your little squad tries to do anything threatening. The 141's members can take care of themselves, but he's unwilling to let anything happen to them without his defense being there.
I think that in this case, Ghost is an even more menacing figure than Hank because at least Hank has a reason to keep Doc alive. This makes 2B a bit more hesitant to do anything rude, and I honestly think he kind of knows that Ghost is aware of what he feels for you. Perhaps not the complete depth of his affection, but enough to get an inkling as to why he acts the way he does. Which he can't tell is more or less threatening, since it just means they can be used for leverage. Although, it's not like he could do anything about the Task Force since it's obvious you like them and want to keep them around for now. So he'll continue being cordial and formal in all his interactions. It's what he does best, after all.
Moving on to Deimos and Sanford, they're more conflicted about this, because if this were any other circumstance, they might've even gotten along with the Task Force. They'd never admit it, but the Task Force is actually really easy to work with, and they can admire their skills. (And hey, at least Ghost bothers remembering which one of them is which, unlike a certain someone.)
However, like Doc, they feel like the Task Force is somehow threatening their own positions in your life, which sours their attitudes toward them. Deimos is kind of the unofficial "Funny Guy™️" in your life, so seeing Soap make you laugh and smile just makes it feel like something sharp is poking at his chest. God forbid if you laugh at Ghost's jokes too; once the masked man grows comfortable enough to tell his little quips it's over. You just find it so hilarious (especially with Soap's groaning about how bad they are), and you even follow up with your own. To Deimos, there's a sort of chemistry between you and the 141, and he doesn't like it. He isn't a very insecure person, but the fact that this whole situation is making him feel more uncertain about his future with you is something he hates.
With Sanford, he just disapproves of how close the 141 is getting to you. He respects Price, sure, and he can somewhat appreciate how the other three members of the 141 look out for you, but that's the thing; that is his job. It's Sanford's role to make your food, coffee, tea, whatever - not Gaz's or Ghost, or whoever else encroaches on his time with you. Protecting you from harm is something that he and Deimos do quite well, and they don't need anyone else trying to take their spotlight with that. Lord knows they have to deal with enough of that from Hank. Plus, there are some things regarding your friendship with the 141 that he (or any other grunt) can't compete with. You're all human. The 141 knows you better on a fundamental level because you come from a similar reality, and you are the same species. They probably are better at reading you and knowing what you like, and it pains him and Deimos whenever you make a reference to pop culture or something in your world and only the 141 understands. It makes him wonder how much he really knows you, and if he'd even be able to get everything about you. Because he really wants to; Sanford (and again, every other grunt in your entourage) seek to know you better than themselves, they want to have intimate knowledge about everything you are or want to be. And the fact that you're so different makes it difficult. The business with the 141 only makes it more painfully obvious.
Another issue for them is that it is generally hard to put a barrier between them and the 141. Sanford and Deimos are the more outgoing of your group, and as such, they're probably the first grunts that the Task Force feels comfortable trying to reach out to. Kind of like brothers in arms, except they're tall, grey Nevadans and not humans. (Hey, still better than Graves, right?) Soap and Gaz will be friendly with them, even Price in a more restrained way (professional, if you will), and Dei and San can't help themselves from responding in kind. Sure, they might kick themselves later when they find themselves getting really friendly, but it's hard to stop it from happening. Or they could convince themselves that becoming friends with the Task Force is a way to keep an eye on you when you're with the other team.
Either way, this won't prevent the lurking feelings of discomfort and envy they feel when they see you enjoying the company of the 141. But their hesitancy doesn't stop Soap and Gaz from treating them as they would any other combat team they work with, nor Price from including them in his strategies (that he works up with you, no doubt). This doesn't prevent Ghost from being more lax around them than with the other members of your group either, because he knows that Sanford and Deimos are the least likely to try anything. Not only because they want to do right by you, but because they're growing closer to the Task Force, albeit with great conflict. (He can relate; he felt much the same way when he had to work with Soap at first.)
For Soap and Gaz, they see San and Dei as sort of comrades (like the Los Vaqueros in a way), while Price kind of sees them as the sort of soldiers he'd worked with before. Perhaps not the types of people he'd hire for his own Task Force, but they remind him of those he interacted with in his time in the military. It's nostalgic, in a weird way. Especially since they're very far from human.
Now we have Hank. To put it shortly, compared to everyone else in your main group, Hank's approach is the direct opposite. He doesn't play nice with his own squad most of the time, why would he bother doing that with another group?
He doesn't see any benefit to having the 141 around and treats them as direct competition because that's what they are to him. To Hank, he can protect you and provide for you just fine on his own; you don't need anyone else, so he'll be there to whisk you away whenever they get too close. It doesn't matter if it's either of the Sergeants, Ghost, or Price, none of them should be spending large amounts time with you. There's no need. It's not like they have the same close bond that you share with him, nor do they have any deeper interest in you, so he doesn't see them as having any justifiable reason to be so buddy-buddy with you. It's a waste of your time for the benefit of theirs.
His behavior is centered around proving that he's better than them in nearly every conceivable way: more reliable than Price, more considerate and sweet than Gaz, better with combat than Soap and Ghost. He's obviously superior to them, so only pay attention to him, okay?
His mentality is very obvious, and it's insulting that the 141 find it more entertaining than anything. Soap will poke fun at you for having a guard dog, while Price will mention something about keeping him on a short leash. Gaz is more unsettled yet again, but confident that he won't do anything. He can't, not when you reprimand him every time he brings a knife or gun just too close to them. Ghost is significantly less amused, and the most likely to challenge his threats. In a rather smart move, he'll also point to you to show how much you disapprove of the tall grunt's actions, shaking his head at how Hank visibly wilts once he sees your disappointed stare.
You'd think that if he knew about how you wanted things to be nice with the 141, he'd care to put in more effort. But he won't, it's not in his nature. Instead, he'll just see to it that the threats happen behind closed doors. But Ghost will be there every step of the way, as a protector of his own squad and a helpful informant to you. Nobody likes a snitch, but seeing Hank try to make apologies to you is too good to pass up. A worthy punishment for threatening his squad, he'd say.
Besides, you're like the Captain of your grunts in a weird way, with how they listen to you. You might even deserve the title, with all your strategic expertise (which he knows he's seen now), and Soap has even taken to calling you that in jest a few times. And good Lieutenants always report to their superiors, right? So he's just acting according to the rules of the chain of command.
At the end of the day, for you, you have another group of individuals to help out, and ones that you've made friends with. Despite how much your grunts might dislike them, you've always been fond of Task Force 141, so getting to meet them is something you're excited about. Luckily for you, they quite like you as well. It's just those guard dogs of yours that seem to present a challenge, but they'd say you keep them trained well enough not to try anything too drastic. For now.
[Also, some general Nevada things regarding the 141 and their reaction:
They wouldn't like it there, it's too violent and they get enough of that at home. The landscape is fascinating but all of this stuff with the Nexus Core and the Employers is too complicated for them to want to deal with. Having you there makes it so much easier, so they appreciate you a lot (and want to protect you, since you're just an innocent civilian), but they would honestly much rather be home.
They're also somewhat horrified at the way grunts live. The only TV show that plays is Slaughter Time, and the predisposition to violence that all grunts seem to have is really concerning. It makes them more protective of you too, even throwing a few suspicious glances at your boys whenever they do something really harsh in combat. For once, they feel lucky that they're basically allies. Especially since Wimbleton can't die permanently, according to you. (Though Ghost is sure he can find a way to make that happen, if necessary lol.)]

Since you did Bela, can you do the the two remaining sisters for your prompt ?
Give me a character and I will answer:
Why I like them:
Daniela is the baby of the family and it shows because she's such a brat who doesn't listen to anything or anyone she has no problems arguing with Bela right in front of their mother because she knows that Alcina is not going to say anything about it. She's also different from her sisters and I think this is really what gives her that distinctive personality and you can't just not love that, you know? Like, the girls are vicious hunters and Daniela especially has little impulse control (slashing that maid's face with a knife just because) but she's actually more tame and the weakest hunter out of the three. She has her own hobbies, she'd much rather be reading or looking after her flowers (she takes that very seriously) than go out and hunt. It made her weaker, which is why Alcina locked her up in the library to protect her because while she dotes on her youngest, she knows when things are about to get serious and that's when mama gets all protective. Cassandra- I love how fucking dramatic she is???? Waving that handkerchief is what did it for me I just knew this one is different and I was right. She's a brat, but unlike Daniela she doesn't keep to herself. Bela is appalled by the mess Cassandra caused in the cellars because this is just her brand. Chasing Ethan around going all "rawr" and literally just messing with him? Pure gold. I also live how her dramatic ass makes her flies scream when her mother is nearby just so that Alcina can make an entrance. You can easily tell she's a handful and the fact that their mother chose her to team up with tells you a lot. Alcina literally just lets her play and have fun, but she gets all serious and scolds her when it's needed. Idk but honestly Cassandra is the one who's closest to Alcina and she lives for the drama.
Why I don’t:
Doesn't apply. They're adorable cinnamon rolls who did nothing wrong their whole lives.
Favorite episode (scene if movie):
I loved Daniela arguing with Bela the most because yes this is obviously the baby and she's not afraid to run her mouth.
My favorite is how excited Cassandra gets when her mother is around like girlie is just beaming and literally just bouncing in excitement???? So precious.
Favorite season/movie:
Long live Castle Dimitrescu.
Favorite line:
Daniela: "Ugh! Ow, so mean!" Cassandra: "Look forward to what mother has in store for you."
Favorite outfit:
I think Daniela would rock any crop top. Cassandra in any type of skinny jeans is just too hot for us mortals to handle.
Head Canon
Daniela:
1- She loves her sisters!! She argues with them a lot, and she always feels like they don't take her seriously but she cannot imagine living without them. 2- Despite her personality, she actually doesn't like anything related to horror and gets scared easily. 3- She has an innocent mindset. She doesn't always assume the worst about people, often taking their word at face value which can end her in bad situations because she does fall for these things (its also because she's eager to help) 4- She admires her mother greatly, hoping that one day she can grow up and be just as pretty. 5- She loves pranks and practical jokes! She pulls them on anybody, doesn't matter if its a family member or a staff member. Bored Daniela is going to have her fun one way or another.
Cassandra:
1- She loves souvenirs! Like whether in game or any AU, she's the one who just loves to have a reminder. In the game she literally says that, and she often keeps hair and nails of her victims because hey why not, you know? I think she'd be the same in modern AU like any place they visit Cass is the one raiding these souvenir shops buying heaps of things she doesn't really need. 2- Cassandra is sensitive! And ironically, she's the one who is more guarded (esp with her feelings) so it's not easy to tell. But those who really know her know exactly her fragile her emotions are. 3- She is possessive. What's hers is hers and girlie doesn't like to share anything. 4- She gives off left-handed energy so I will confidently say that she's left handed. 5- She is a big introvert!! She prefers keeping to herself and recharging her social battery at home as opposed to being out all the time. Despite her wild chaotic energy, Cassandra needs her quiet time to find her balance again.
Unpopular opinion:
Daniela actually has more self preservation instincts than her sisters. She's the only sister who runs into hiding when the window is open because she knows she can't fight like that. So she does the right thing (unlike her sisters who just charge in not caring that they're freezing to death) So I really think she's the more sensible one who actually thinks before acting. Cassandra: She-- How do I say this, she enjoys being part of a family? With her especially, she's never alone. Alcina is literally with her, and she talks about calling Bela and she even call out to her sisters. I think this goes back to her being more sensitive which means she's more emotional than the others and really holds her family dear. She's always talking about them and being with them. She literally was never alone during the castle section like Alcina knows which daughter constantly needs her presence and we can all see that. It's just that Cassandra is actually a huge family person but she's good at hiding so only her mom and sisters know about it.
A wish:
;w; can we pls get a dlc with their lives in the castle before Ethan happened.
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen:
Nope, been there done that. They still live in my heart though. Canon? I don't know her.
5 words to best describe them:
Daniela: funny - smart - resourceful - spoiled - quick to anger Cassandra: drama queen - sentimental - hunter - sassy - mama's girl
My nickname for them:
Daniela: Dani- baby Cassandra: Cass - Cassie
