oh god oh fuck. right now ?? apart from the fact that as im writing it im really getting a feel for who ramsey is as a person and making him weirder and weirder, meaning i need to go back in a second draft and adjust his earlier weirdness level to some degree? mostly im obsessed with getting through this fucking scene so i can write about something else. like it's possible i just need to give up on the gravedigging entirely, maybe it's just not working, but i feel like the burying needs to be significant in Some on-page way , right? like, the murder and the body are a big deal, and i can't just let two coolers of misc werewolf body parts kick around, that's crazy. I'm just really more looking forward to thompson being completely out of touch, and the police finding the second body, and then finding creed and ultimately clearing him as a suspect etc. like all of that just sounds more compelling to me at this point, but i thought the gravedigging would be So cool a few months ago 😫😫 i think it's just been hard for me to focus recently on account of the everything, and that's making it less cool as it goes on. idk how to pace the scene. idk how to make it clear to the reader that hazel is a freak amidst the weird pacing of this scene etc. i know that this could be a second draft revision, too, but i hate leaving things unfinished because i hate doing things more than once 😤
