    LOOKING FOR MAINS!!! Doesn't mean you have to be like, JUST only interacting with me, but I'm REALIZING that Vel doesn't really have a lot of pals to interact with that share her history. If you'd be open to writing verses where Sonic is Velocity, HMU!!! (It's easy peasy, everything that happened in the games and idw comics is the same, except it was Velocity and Silhouette instead of Sonic and Shadow!) (note: slight changes in terms of idw comics, mostly just with how Shadow was written before and during the zombot arc, Silhouette's personality is way more like how Shadow was written in 06.)

    Also super looking for a Dr Eggman, too!! He's free to be a creep (using very flowery titles to patronize Vel) to get her riled up!! She's been fighting back against him since she was like 8, so. There's a big history there!!

    Minor differences involve girls being treated differently socially from boys and vice versa, so for example, comments from Jet like "I don't compete with girls" and Vel being like "WHY? CAUSE YER SCARED OF LOSING??"

    One of the reasons she gets on so well with Knuckles (even if they bicker ALL the time) is because he was completely unaware of MOST social constructs such as treating girls different from boys, etc. So Vel and Knux got into all kinds of tussling and beating each other up without any words of "You can't hit a girl!" there's none of that, she can handle herself and she CRAVES VIOLENCE (wrassling)

    I'M RAMBLING but the POINT IS- I'd love verse specific interactions, even if Vel is still open to other verses.

he was never cut out to be an heir . he adopted the posture , of course . had to . straight upper - lip , straight back , easy facade . but he was never cut for it . it took too much , they asked too much . ( parents & responsibilities , you understand . ) why should he take anything seriously , do anything seriously , when with a snap of his fingers , he could have anything , do anything ? and here we come to a root of the issue . ( perhaps not the root , but one in a tangled mess of roots . and for that matter , a tangled web of issues . ) eren was three days old the first time his magic bubbled over from the inside of him ; pouring out a show of force without his consent . he caused a house fire , setting the mobile that turned idly above his crib alight , then the cradle , then the room . he was alright , of course , swaddled in his blankets untouched amongst the ash . the fire only lived until his mother ran into the room — the baby had only wanted to be held . eren is an unbearably powerful witch . and once he learned that , it was over for him . worse yet , once he learned to control that power , it was over for everyone else . that aptitude for the magical arts developed quickly and furiously over the course of his childhood . coupled with the overload of opulence that marked his surroundings as a demirci , he swiftly spiraled into an over - privileged , over - powerful , self indulgent , degenerate hedonist . all that sexy witch power ? yeah . while a ridiculous everyday advantage , it's also a philosophical / emotional / literal curse . sort of a never ending torment . for one thing , it's a real if you give a mouse a cookie situation . moose & muffin , even . for another , eren has always been a particularly gifted medium . and not necessarily as a willing participant . there is a spirit in particular , or something , that takes the form of a sharply dressed man that has haunted eren as long as he can remember . it's best not to give him any matter of thought , as giving it attention has proven a life - threatening endeavor many times over . no efforts by any practitioner of magic have been able to sever the tie between eren and the man in the suit . it does not take kindly to efforts that attempt to unbind the pair . nor efforts to kill it . though it rarely harms anyone apart from eren , definitely don't try to kill it .

eren has been bouncing around the us & abroad since he was twenty , after dropping out of college & being cut off by his parents . it's been a decade of drug fueled debauchery and magical manipulation . he's run every scam in the book , held every service industry job in the book . he's been homeless , he's been rich as croesus . he's been banned from hiltons worldwide , he's spent more than a negligible amount of time in jail , he toured with fleetwood mac as a roadie for a couple years , he's done every drug under the sun , and been to rehab four times . and he studied the craft . with anyone who would teach him , anywhere he could learn , any witch he could fuck over . he'd do anything to amass power . and amass power he did .

after spending the last few years in paris making his money through various elaborate schemes and heists and one particularly vicious stretch of wire fraud , eren is finally returning home to saints . through a series of winding cryptic nightmares , he's gleaned that it's finally time to try and take care of the man in the suit once and for all . it's eren or the man . someone has to go . and he knows it has to happen here — home . and also , not for nothing , but he's shit out of money . do you guys know who has money ? oh , right , his family , the real estate royals . and you know what else they have ? the endless font of arcane knowledge that are the demirci grimoires . that might come in handy when trying to severe a soul bond with an undead lovecraftian horror ghost fucker . too bad he's been long since disowned and banned from the ancestral archives . bummer .

so he's home . he's been home for a week , and he's bartending and couchsurfing . apart from the occasional visit , he's avoided this city and his parents like the plague for the last ten years . so he's spinning out a bit , naturally . he's here , he's queer , he's sitting in a hawai'ian shirt , deranged . with eren comes chaos , always . but diversity win ! the very charming witch with narcissistic tendencies and a substance abuse problem that's gonna to put a hex on you for shits & giggles is nonbinary and bisexual !

pov your ex held your collection of thrifted spoons hostage for over a year (not entirely his fault, they got mixed up in his things during a move and you did not realize it, though he did adamantly deny that he had them) and reached out to your roommate on instagram nine months post break up after being thoroughly blocked for several months just to ask if you were still roommates and then to very cryptically reveal that he had in fact found the spoons (among other, mystery items that he did not reveal and you also have no idea what they are) in his car that he had not driven for a year cause he decided to make the worst financial decision of his life and buy a tesla and then tried to coordinate a meet up to drop off said spoons and mystery items which you did not want but you do want your spoons so you told him to either mail it or show up to your place of work when you were not scheduled only for him to entirely miss the point and still try to see you, then you reveal that you do not want to see him so he finally says that he will put on his big boy pants and mail it (though him actually mailing it is entirely unlikely) and also aparently hes gotten a perm since the last time you saw him and it looks terrible
