The Ghost of Your Bloodline

Ahsoka didn't like being left behind when it came to villains. But sometimes she had to put up with the role of partner. Anakin was more experienced. Her portals could help her a lot, but in such situations it was better to entrust everything to Anakin. Thanks to his quirk, her portals became more efficient.

"Great! One job is done! Dozens more in the way!"

Anakin smiled and nodded. The work was done. Ink did a good job. The patrol was not over yet, but it was possible to relax a bit.

"Yes, work will still find us. But for now, we can afford ice cream."

She’s scarfing down a handful of beef jerky and the rest of her already cold coffee. What time was it? What was she working on again?

Oh right, the gauntlet…the same project she’d been on for what felt like months now with no luck. Izabella was exhausted, more so than usual as she shoved the hunk of metal and wires away from her out of frustration. Looking up at the clock she grimaced at how early in the morning it was. When was the last time she’d slept more than a few hours?

Izzy let out a heavy sigh, going to the far end of her workshop to brew a fresh batch of coffee. There was no point in sleeping now that the sun was rising steadily over the horizon. Maybe tomorrow…if she was lucky.

Being a pro hero has its perks. For example, you can afford to rent a plane. Anakin loved to fly and was a pretty good pilot. It was always fun and it relaxed him.

"Yeah. I love flying it's really cool."

Anakin thought about the films he had watched. There were really a lot of them.

"For example, Kurosawa movies. Or Kill Bill. You can also watch any anime that has samurai."

Anakin chuckled. He could become her mentor and teach her how to use the sword. Even if her weapon is not a katana, the principle will be the same as with his lightsaber.

"Good! I can teach you how to fight while dancing!"
