like no matter what happens in season 3 or how much character development aziraphale has, he cannot fix what he broke when he left.

that betrayal of trust, the accidental and intentional cruelty, the degradation and insults, the fact that after six thousand years he STILL chose heaven and his personal comfort over crowley—you cannot fix that. ever.

crowley will never trust and love him the way he did before (and rightfully so) and aziraphale will simply have to live with the consequences of his actions & choices.

and it's not just that! his behaviour during those six thousand years was often just as shitty and hurtful and i hope crowley finally has a chance to heal from that and build a life that centres HIM and not aziraphale. i hope he realises that he does not have to forgive aziraphale unless HE wants to for his own sake.

i hope aziraphale actually feels the weight of his mistakes and never fucking hurts crowley again.

i think it’s really interesting how alina and lilith have a “i’ll find you in any universe” deal cause obviously there’s elster and ariane but also alina (presumably) wasn’t drafted in that s23 universe but she still met lilith in her own way by bonding with an elster unit

thinking again about the transmasc heather mason theory

its not a theory i find especially compelling but i think it has a lot of unexpected thematic backing, mostly because heather is often forced into certain roles against her will and does not strike me as a female character that seems especially happy in womanhood

but i had a discussion with my husband awhile ago about how if she were trans shed have a hell of a time reckoning that considering her relationship with harry. like just imagine how hard it would be to give up the name cheryl after what that little girl meant to her father, after all the effort both of them went to to bring her back. i guess you could make an argument that that little girl never really existed in the first place, or at the very least the person she was supposed to be is not who is there now

but when i brought this up my husband said to me "oh my god, hed call himself harry wouldnt he"

It hurts my brain to think about how insignificant I am in the face of the grand passage of time. I won't matter in 100 years. The people I know will forget about me in 10. Across the world there's children learning their family recipe that's been passed down through the generations. Across the world there's a gymnast practicing, dreaming for the Olympics. Across the world there's a businessman who only wishes for a break. Across the world there's an old lady regretting not cherishing her youth. And yet here I am. Not learning, not practicing, not dreaming, not wishing, not cherishing anything. Most people I see everyday don't know who I am or what I've been through. I don't know either. But we're all on this blue planet, in a star system amongst many, orbiting a black hole in the never ending universe. This world is so big. And yet I simplify it into my own self contained universe. My world revolves around me and there's nothing wrong with that it's just that I'll be forgotten in 100 years.
