With all the Eddie kissing Buck theories popping up i feel like people are mising the untapped potential of Eddie kissing Tommy. (No matter what you ship its an angsty field day)

Eddie and Marisol break up because ever since Eddie found out about Buck and Tommy he's been feeling some kind of way and doesn't understand why it's making him yearn a lil bit.

Buck and Tommy in the honeymoon phase of their new relationship and Buck just gushing about Tommy at work. And Eddie's hearing it all like 🥹 and doesn't know why

Eddie and Tommy who still hang out a lot and one day maybe they've had a few beers. Or maybe they're half naked and pummelling eachother and Eddie just ends up kissing him before thinking about it.

And Tommy doesn't kiss back. Tommy stepping away and being far too soft in the way he says "Eddie no." And its only then that it clicks for Eddie that not only did he just kiss a guy but he kissed the guy his best friend is dating.

Queue him spiralling and Tommy sitting next to him on the floor all understanding because he's been the ultra repressed guy panicking over his world shifting.

Tommy not telling Buck because he doesn't want to out Eddie. Eddie telling Buck because while he still doesn't fully understand why he did it the guilt from having done it is eating him alive.

Buck and Tommy arguing over it where Bucks saying he should have told him and Tommys saying he's been Eddie and isn't going to shove him out of the closet especially for a kiss that lasted less than a second because Tommy instantly went "No thanks I'm with Evan."

Buck trying so hard to not be mad at Eddie for kissing his boyfriend but not quite managing it.

Eddie avoiding Tommy because he fucking kissed him.

I originally didn’t want to make a post about the London meet and greet because I don't want to come across like I'm bragging or anything but if anyone (@spooky-cowfish especially) really does want to read about it then here you go...

So we go into the main gig hall and the boys are all standing at the barrier, well Chris is straddling it and has trouble getting over which was quite funny. They count us a few times as everyone filters in which made it felt like a school trip😂.

After the initial hello they say they're gonna do individual photos and talking/questions so they all split off in different directions. Pi walks straight towards me and my new queue friend and we were not prepared 😂 we awkwardly say hi and take photos, he asked if I wanted anything signed and I had a small rainbow flag but I'd forgotten a pen so he said he'd come back to sign it. Can I just say his eyes are so piercing!!! Like woah!!!! He has great energy too.

Next I went to Gared and the awkwardness had gone so I managed to chat and joke with him more. He's super nice and quick witted, very funny. I managed to borrow a pen from someone and made a stupid joke about him being left handed and he went "No I'm just trying it out" 🤣😭 I'm sorry Gared. I told him to just sign anywhere but he said "No, I have to do it properly" he's so sweet!!

Then I went to Klaas and omfg, first thing I did was ask for a hug so we hugged and I squeezed his waist (it had to be done). He is so lovely, we chatted about fancy venues and he bragged about how he saw ghost years ago in a nice small venue, his favourite Ghost song is Mummy Dust btw! I can't lie, I was just staring at his long hair and cute glasses for a bit without realising🤣.

Then I got to Nik and he was the most prepared cuz he actually brought a pen lmao. Anyway he's super chill and easy to talk to, he asks you where you're from and how far you've travelled to get there. After he signed my flag I say danke cuz it just comes out naturally now and he looks me dead in the eye and says "You're welcome" LOL.

Before leaving him Pi was walking past so I called out and asked for him to use Nik's pen to sign my flag and ofc he was like "Oooo what pen am I using?😏" Nik handed him the sharpie and was like "This one, not the other one down boy. That's later" and I was standing there like 👁👄👁 wtf is happening right now.

And then Chris was left. He's just so lovely and sweet too omg! When he took my phone to take a selfie (I think we had all decided the boys to take the pics cuz they're good at it lol) he somehow changed the camera to video and omg it's my favourite thing, he says "It's filming!" when we realise it's a video and I've had it going around and around in my head for days🤣. I get a selfie with him and then he takes a pic of our shoes cuz apparently his new photo thing is shoes. My mouth works faster than my brain so I say "Wikifeet?" as a joke and he's like "No it's not a kink thing."

Anyway I ask him to sign the flag and am about to shout for anyone with a pen I can borrow again but Chris is like "I'll go steal Nik's." and he just runs off to get it🤣. I go to help him hold the flag tight so it's easier to sign like I did with the others but he's there holding it against his thigh figuring out which side is the right one😂.

Then it's the group photo in the final minutes, so everyone is walking towards the barrier, I am stupidly walking backwards and fucking walk into Nik omfg PSA: look where you're walking otherwise you may bump into a drummer! Klaas appears next to me out of nowhere then he kneels down on the floor (you can see this in the London group photo lmao), so I'm like 'oh god I'm gonna have to get down there too otherwise it'll look weird' so I awkwardly get on the floor and copy his pose cuz no way am I gonna be down there on both my knees😂 A few photos were taken with count downs done in multiple languages. Then Klaas stands back up so effortlessly and I'm there struggling cuz my platform boots are heavy. Once I'm up Klaas says "You made it!" like ha ha yeahhhh.... I should start working out😂

Finally we say bye then us lot get taken into a corridor that's on the other side of the venue instead of being let back out into the queue outside. So I'm there chatting away to my new friend and I pull out google maps to show her where abouts I live cuz we want to meet up again. But all of a sudden I feel a hand on my shoulder and a sweet "Excuse me" and I turn to find Pi behind us trying to get past LMFAO OOPS.

Honestly it was the best night of my life.

Although, I have to say one more thing. It was interesting to watch the standard queue being let in and everyone rushed to the middle and Pi's side, I was like 'well, more Klaas for me then hehe'.

11. What does switching feel like to you, if you switch at all?

Well, this one is way more perplexing than it used to be, because we used to just have one singular way we would switch, where everyone would have a slow kind of changing where we were one person, and the we were some other person in the next fuve minutes...or similar.

Now it seems to have variations within the polyplex, with the additional fun of it being completely random (seemingly) on who switches in what way.

They all take time, but we've had people that just push to front by giving us all headaches in the morning (unintentionally so). We have people who just slide in gently and pick another fronter up like a wet kitten before plopping them in the ground (Shado is...extremely guilty of this one when it comes to some folks, and it seems surprising until you realize it's not). Most of us still have this slow-changing minor paradigm shift. We have people who tag themselves out. We also have situations where people act as how most systems define "gatekeepers" to the front — but for us it seems this is more because if someone has asked to front, and can't make it before the previous fronter leaves, welp, someone needs to take the body for a bit, right?

It is rare but sometimes Diluc/Silva can take executive control of front in situations that require specific types of action and quick thinking. It seems that Raymond also does this or can do this, but I am not certain most of us have witness it (as compared to Silva/Diluc, who is well-known in the system for having protected us during our years at [REDACTED] awhile back). Raymond tends to be more in the category of an analytical thinker rather than someone who will just do things, so I am rather interested to see the situations that may have arisen for this to happen.

(Although I hope the day never comes either.)

18. Are there differences between systemmates surrounding sensory things? (For example, one person likes the taste of one food and another doesn’t.)

Oh yes, there are absolutely variations in this. This used to be how everyone discerned who was fronting, that was before it stopped working; there is a point in time where more context clues than simply sensory queues must be taken into account, no?

We even have differences down to the sensory toys we stim with during work shifts, if the call load permits it. Some of us like them closer to the computer and some of us prefer the pineapple over the, uh, bubble square (I do not have the word for it).

We used to have this even squishier cake stress "ball" but we actually used it so much the item got halved into pieces. Over and over, until we just had to throw the whole thing away, bit by bit. If I ever fund out where it came from, I'm definitely getting another one.

We also have differences in taste (we mean this as literally as much as we do our taste in food), sight, and hearing (this one is...not as obvious? In general the body is sensitive to sounds that are not caused or controlled by us specifically). We just don't bother with those as much since changing those as often as we do fronters would mean nothing would get done (if we even survived long enough to initiate a task, in a neutral way. I'm speaking practically here).

Answering for Sol and Arcade again because they are rolling around in my brain

Marriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?

It’s funny because if you asked Sol if he ever wanted to get married he’d be like What. Why would I do that. He doesn’t fully understand the concept as a whole, especially the idea of “legal” marriage. But there comes a point where he is aware that so far as he is concerned, he is spending the rest of life by Arcade’s side. Marriage didn’t even occur to him as an option until Veronica joked about it. Sol knows that Arcade is fond of some of those more Old Fashioned pre-war traditions and that he had expressed some general longing for marriage offhandedly before they were together (despite Arcade being self deprecating about it and feeling silly for wanting it). Sol’s brain got hung up on it and the idea grew on him, thus prompting him to eventually propose (after dwelling on the idea for over a year, naturally).

Perhaps it was more for Arcade than it was for Sol, rather acting as a symbolic manifestation of emotions he struggles to communicate. But getting that opportunity to externalize his devotion and love meant a lot to both of them, especially seeing as that Sol’s deep seated fear of being outted or seen doing couples stuff with Arcade was a point of contention in their earlier days together.

Just gonna link the lil proposal fic here in place of rambling about the proposal itself.

They end up having two smallish weddings, one with their friends/family in Vegas and another traditional Khan one that Papa Khan holds for them. Functionally, their marriage changes little in their dynamics except for perhaps a bit more light PDA.

On Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

Sol is not an overly expressive person in general unless you really get to know his smaller tells. It’s hard to say with romance because he doesn’t experience it in a fully typical way. His feelings for Arcade were completely platonic for a long time even after they got close, then teetered into an area that can’t really be defined as either romantic or platonic before Arcade prompted the romantic aspect of their relationship. Even then Sol’s emotions can’t fully be categorized that easily. Still, Boone and Veronica were both watching Sol sit across the room staring at Arcade like 👁👁 (and the other way around) and were just kind of Waiting for it to happen.

Sol doesn’t change his day to day behavior all that much once in a relationship other than throwing in more obvious affection (eventually) and trying to stay more attuned to Arcade’s emotional needs. He prefers to express his feelings through actions where possible, though he forces himself to verbalize it sometimes for the sake of communication.

Romance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?

Eh. Moderately. I think that a lot of things he does to express affection sit outside of the strictly romantic category for him but are perceived as romantic from other people. Arcade is more attuned to this, even if some of it does go over his head. But sometimes Sol will get in a certain mood or have something queue him to just be unbearably sappy and romantic for a little while as he insists on kissing every inch of Arcade’s face and mumbling affection or something. Also Sol does occasionally set up fun, moderately elaborate dates for them! They are usually both cliche and creative at the same time, borrowing some ideas from pre-war sources (or advice from Veronica) while also trying to put together something that will be fun and appeal to both of their specific preferences. Sol loves to just do stuff with Arcade, exponentially more so if Arcade is throughly enjoying their activities. Even when they are just hanging out at home and life is boring or stressful, he does little things to cheer him up.

Anyway, in here, they are probably not technically angel or demon in reality, but they just experience elements of such during their relationship. Handwriting is an important accompaniment to digital, as not to get lost in the void of machination, even though with technology, you absolutely do write with your soul as well as head — it is just more difficult to know your limit. Anyway, random direct paging is the most important thing — direct communication in which I assume Francis is also trying to do with his new canvas of handwritten and digital — and sorting through his own mess of a mind in his own self validated manner. The months of rose-tinted dance however are not a waste of heart and energy, and just to navigate through their own time & pace within their whirlwind body & soul of: should I trust them or not?? like what Francis said as Dean, “There’s a book in the vaults.”
