I'm scared again.

I'm always scared when they talk like that.

I won't be able to know if they're okay or not until they tell me.

I just want them to tell me they're okay.

That they're still here.

But they don't.

They don't for awhile.

And I can't blame them.

But I get scared.

I get freaked out.

I overthink.

I don't think.

I just assume.

It never happens.

But every time they say that,

I can't help but be scared,

And feel sick,

And want to see them even more.

So I can hug them.

And hold them.

Maybe even kiss them.

Either platonically or not.

I want to tell them it's going to be alright.

With messages,

I can only say what I feel without emotion.

I want to see them.

So they can hear how scared I am for them.

So they can hear how much I care about them.

Because I'm scared.

one time I used the ben affleck smoking reaction image in the family group chat and my mom replied with the funniest possible response which was: "mommy doesn't know who the guy is???" and that phrase has not left my brain since. I'll see blorbos on my dash that I don't recognize and I'll be like well it seems mommy doesn't know who the guy is.
