ive seen so many tragic posts about claudia and lestat in regards to her death, and also abt her and louis, but the thing that keeps me awake at night is madeleine. madeleine tucking her face into her girlfriend, being so scared and drained after her bravery in calling claudia her coven. claudia standing strong, being as brave as she knows how in her last few moments to spite everyone else. i dont think it was necessarily intended this way, but all i could think about while seeing it was claudia trying to be strong for madeleine and then....and then she was alone again.
