ok but what if William slowly starts to fear losing control of the vampires of his house that are leaving - the most important to him being Vincent, who he clearly sees as his son at this point - and when he finally realises that it is his actions and his choices as their king that are the tipping point in their decision to leave and that no amount of promises of comfort or ‘safety’ will keep them from leaving, he cannot accept it, and invokes Alexis and Vincent. He removes the previous invocations (that they each cannot invoke their own progeny) and instead forces them to invoke Sam and Lovely - essentially creating a chain of invocations, and thus allowing William to command his house without question or rebellion, finally letting him have the ‘perfect happy family’ that he’s always dreamed of- *i am dragged away and shot*

It's a little striking how few people on Tumblr have heard of Snotgirl. Like, yes, under ordinary circumstances responding to someone wondering what Bryan Lee O'Malley has been up to since Scott Pilgrim with "oh, he's currently the lead writer for an ongoing lesbian romance comic called Snotgirl" is going to run into the obvious stumbling block that the comic is in fact called Snotgirl, but on Tumblr I'd expect that if anything that title would be a selling point.

1947 - Tim Shepard is born, his mother doesn’t care about him, his father is abusive. This life is gonna suck, isn’t it?

1950 - Tims’s baby siblings are born, his mother doesn’t care about them either, so Tim will.

1956 - after years of abuse, their father leave them, Angela and Curly don’t understand it, Angela is still hoping their father will come back, even almost ten years later.

1965 - after Curly gets home from the reformatory, Tim and Angela aren’t home. Their mother’s current boyfriend, an asshole who beats on Curly every chance he gets, picks a fight and takes it too far. Snapping Curlys neck. Angela comes home to her twin brother, her other half, dead on the floor of their home. Eyes wide open.

1967 - their moms boyfriend takes yet another member of their family away, a drunken argument leads to their mothers death after he pulled a heater on her. Her boyfriend leaves them, just like their father, after breaking their family beyond repair.

1969 - Angela tries to move on and Tim tries to protect her, really, he does. But her story ends like most girls on the East side, she’s at a party one night and someone hands her a drink. Drunk and alone, she accepts it. She isn’t seen again. She was only 19. Tim is alone.

1970 - there’s nothing left in this city for 23-year old Tim Shepard now. Only painful memories, on the day Angela’s body is found in the woods, she’s a pile of bones now. Tim loses it and goes out the same way Dally did five years prior, they always were similar weren’t they?

that’s the story of how the Shepard family ended. Broken apart one by one, becoming more and more unrecognizable.
