Lyney, Lynette, Freminet headcanons + theories !!

(WRITTEN BEFORE v4.0)

Me and my friend came up with some hcs and theories on them. this is before the release of fontaine in-game (v3.8)

Lyney & Lynette

Lyney is from the orphanage run by arlecchino (well everybody knows that at this point) and his actual sibling is not Lynette.

how i like to think is that Lyney’s actual sibling had died, leaving him with Freminet left. Lynette is a substitute puppet to have him numb the pain. (probably made by sandrone) there are lots of theories online about Lynette being a puppet, so I’m not gonna dive into it.

personality leaks said that lyney is very protective of his sister.

so. Lyney only cares and is only actually warm towards Lynette, and cares little about anything else. Thats why i thought that he's overprotective of her. He knows that the real Lynette had died and now puts all his care towards the puppet

besides, according to gameplay leaks, Lyney has a real cat while Lynette's cat is on a spring

so: Lyney is a human (real), Lynette is a puppet (fake)

Freminet

same with Lyney and Lynette, he is originally from Arlecchino’s orphange. But unlike them, he stayed there for a much shorter time. (see below)

He escaped the orphanage before Lyney and Lynette got out.

Fremi escaped the orphanage through the underground sewers, in the process of doing so. he almost drowned to death

A person saved him from drowning to death. And that person would later on teach Freminet the wonders of the underwater world and how to dive.

And because the person who saved his life expertises in diving and exploring the underwater world, Freminet became a diver as well, and took comfort of the underwater world

—> In the new fontaine teaser, Freminet suddenly opened his eyes in water. looks surprised/scared. so I was thinking what if he has ptsd from drowning. Thats how I came up with the above.

Izzy Hands in the captains cabin late at night, sat by the fire with his leg off, shirt untucked and waistcoat unbuttoned, hair falling loose around his face (and then getting tucked behind his ear), a pair of tiny glasses perched on the end of his nose, glass of fine brandy by his side, and book in hand.

So I made the mistake of stumbling onto the NOT STEVE ROGERS FRIENDLY tag today and..

You have to be a special type of delusional to be this obsessed with a character you don't like!??

Over 2k fics have the tag and are almost entirely Tony Stark-centered fics. I'm assuming these are the "fans" who totally buy into the MCU canon and don't know any other Captain America lore outside of what Feige and Whedon have done. Or, they're the "fans" who refuse to understand the politics behind Steve's character and how he was inherently undermined throughout the entire ten years of the MCU by the directors and writers for most of the films.

Because the arguments in most of these fics for being "not Steve rogers friendly" are really surface level shit like:

1) "Steve refused to sign the Accords and broke up the Avengers" (he was right & he didn't break them up, an overemotional Tony did when he refused to listen to Bucky's side of the story).

2) Steve fought Tony and almost killed him (yeah, like Tony didn't blast Bucky's arm off and shoot his repulsor rays directly at Steve).

3)Steve is homophobic (y'all are just making up reasons to hate this man atp)

4)Steve is racist (Steve hated racists & you'd know that if you read the comics, or you guys are just that deluded that you're making Steve racist & trying to project it as canon and therefore a "reasonable" explanation as to why you hate him)

5)Blaming Steve for Rhodey's accident (WHICH WAS TEAM TONY'S FAULT!)

6)YALL, THEY MADE STEVE THE BAD GUY IN A BROCK RUMLOW/BUCKY FIC! I stg I cannot make this shit up💀 Steve's bad for wanting Bucky to be Bucky again, but somehow Brock's the good guy for wanting Bucky to be the Soldier...

Steve left Bucky for Peggy (we'll get to this soon)

There's a hundred more irrational reasons for the Steve Rogers hate, but let me get to the WORST part.

THERE ARE BUCKY STANS WHO ARE ANTI-STEVE ROGERS.

And I'm sorry, no. I don't accept that you love Bucky Barnes but hate the one person he loves the most in the world.

They argued in a couple fics that "Bucky also went rogue after Siberia but he didn't want to associate with Steve, Nat & the rest of the team- WHO HELPED RESCUE BUCKY & EVENTUALLY EXONERATE HIM- but rather, he went off on his own & eventually Tony finds him, they hash it out and become friends to lovers."

Helppp???? Wdym Bucky isn't gonna stick with the one man he's been keeping diaries about to try and get back his memories? But he'll go to the one guy that re-traumatized him by blowing out his arm again?

Not only that, but Bucky absolutely hates Steve in some of these fics and the reason will be, "he left Bucky to go back to Peggy." Like, you cannot be a serious fan if you're still going with the Endgame canon. For a majority of us, we recognize Endgame as being nothing but terrible writing and mischaracterizations. Why are yall not analyzing and interpreting media critically? The MCU has never been on Steve's side and have always diminished his character in an attempt to make Tony the ultimate hero of the OG 6. Don't yall know the discourse? It's embarrassing atp.

And this is my stance on the entire thing: there's nothing wrong with writing fics about characters you don't necessarily like or aren't interested in. It's OKAY if you don't like Steve Rogers- but you've gotta be rational about him, instead of hateful. Most, if not all of these "anti-steve" fics are written in bad faith. Bad understanding of the character and pure, shameless mischaracterizations which just makes these types of fics fickle and weak- hilarious to read though cos that Brock one had me deadddd😭💀.

just read an interview from the director about how we’re apparently supposed to LIKE john walker. THAT was them writing him as likeable. maybe it’s just wyatt’s acting or something but i have never been so put off by a character in my entire life. the villainy just radiates off him. unsettling costume self-righteous attitude violent outbursts literally written like every fascist extremist ever. and they want me to pity him ?? to find him likeable or fucking redeemable?? FFFFHDJNE like i have absolutely no history with that character i have no reason to dislike him other than the fact that he is so deeply unlikable. i know “likeable” is a personal opinion but mostly im concerned for the people that like him. i genuinely cannot comprehend what people saw in him in that show to make them like him. as a person, not as a character. he’s a really cool villain and everything i’m just confused that people are treating him like a victim or a straw man. he used lethal force on civilians. he wanted to use sam and bucky to legitimize his claim to the throne. he sees that shield as a symbol of patriotism to a broken nation, a military, not to people. he feeds into every negative stereotype about captain america that steve refused to bow to. he is the american imperialist that the military wants, that steve would never be because his heart is too full of altruism to have any room for ego. the foundation of captain america is the idea of being a good man. without that, captain america is just another tool for the military industrial complex.

AU: Nightmare Eyes (it's an original concept story/comic I've worked on over the years and I think it's fun to through it onto new fixations I have and see how it would work depending on the character)

It's a creature/parasite that latches onto a host and co-exists with the person. It manifests in different ways depending on person to person.

There's lots of good that come with it:

-Ramon can fly now using his nightmare nymph wings -Ramon's punches/kicks are ever stronger now and have a little bit of armor -He can turn it into inanimate objects, right now he can do hair ties and small bits of rope (he's kind of bad at it still)

But there's plenty of bad

-Ramon can no longer have good dreams. Only bad ones and nightmares. (being the hero who once protected the glade of dream losing the ability to dream? that's rough buddy) -The eyes don't always listen

But Ramon's navigating through it, and he's not alone. He's gonna try and do some good with it, the small victories feel the biggest

The Captain is definitely the younger of two siblings, his older sibling being a sister. Havers is definitely the oldest of many kids probably like 5, and most if not all of them being boys.
