maybe this is an assimilationist kneejerk but i kinda feel like someone has to replace at least one of the screenshots on the xfce wikipedia with a modern window style dark mode image. like just to prove that it can do it. i have nothing against having your desktop look like windows95 but i feel like its almost unfair to literally never once drop the bit long enough to let newcomers know that its possible for it to not look like that. like every other desktop is clear about how easy it is to customize it however but people think xfce is just doomed to look like that. we can't let the young generation think they have to use gnome and kde. linux doesnt have to feel like an ipad with child safety on
