mimik is a major supporting character in two non-show canon installments hee hee

its two graphic novels about morro during their childhood (and aers search for the tomb of the FSM) and harumi after the events of crystallized and what happened to her

🌷When does your self-insert come into the story? Is your selfship established before the events of the source?

for morro, the two met wayyyy before the canon, when morro was still alive and was a kid. mimik taught morro how to fend for themself on the streets and also helped aer find some info about the tomb of the fsm and such

for harumi, it kinda happens after canon?? harumi hasnt been seen in ninjago since crystallized so mimik's story w/ it is there to fill that gap. mimik is there to provide her with an older male familial relationship that isnt toxic and is healthy. he helps harumi find an identity and "purpose" now that its facing the world alone. also cope w/ the guilt of the horrible things youve done

🌺Are there any other characters that are very relevant to your self-insert or F/O story-wise?

for mimik, aside from krux (obviously), not really. mimik only ever keeps a handful of ppl close to him since hes constantly in hiding

waaaa this was so fun to answer!! i actually havent thought about mimik's lore w/ morro & harumi at ALL before this!! :DD

wip wednesday on thursday bc i do what i want 😘

haven't shared in a while bc i haven't had time to write but i appreciate all the tags so i'm gonna share a few little snippets of a few things i'm working on. tags below the cut!

Alex is covering the bar for Maria when he gets stuck, bottle of tequila hovering in between the bar and the glass he’s supposed to be pouring it in. He works hard not to notice people, notice men, but the most beautiful man he’s ever seen is walking into the bar and it's impossible to look away.

Maria wakes up with a crick in her neck. One of her arms is asleep and she’s got a pleasant ache in her thighs.  She's warm, and the bone-deep fear that's been trying to suffocate her for weeks has abated. She takes a deep breath and keeps her eyes squeezed shut when she remembers why.

“Kiss him,” she tells Michael, who finally tears his gaze from Tyler’s face to ask, “why?”.  “Because I wanna see.”  She nods and smiles when Tyler searches her face, looking a little panicked. But then Michael is leaning in close, wrapping his big hand around Tyler’s pretty neck and pulling him in and kissing him like he’s starving for it. Tyler moans and she’s so fucking wet she could shove Tyler out of the way and sit on Michael’s dick right here in front of him, but she keeps still, and watches. The way Michael pulls him closer, the way Tyler’s fingers twitch near his waist.

Nick catches himself leaning forward, trying to chase Taylor’s mouth and his touch. He hears a sharp, “stay,” that rocks all the way through him and he slams himself back in the chair. He gets a barely perceptible nod for his efforts. He tries not to think about what he could do to elicit a bigger reaction. He drags in a breath and refocuses on Taylor. At a small gesture Nick barely notices, Taylor bends over the bed again. He is so fucking beautiful. Nick’s not sure he’s ever had the chance to just take him in like this. He’s always so desperate to get his hands on him when they’re alone.

alright that's enough snippets... hopefully i'll be able to get some things finished in the next few months! i miss writing! let me know what you think; i need all the motivation i can get.

A. Bellefleur; unphased / at first they were a little surprised, but honestly they don't really mind either way, so long as you expressed if you were uncomfortable (though you do find that sometimes they press a pleased kiss to your reddened cheeks)

K. Valiev; surprised / they're usually the one in that position, so to see you flush at their words is a shock, though they think it's very endearing

A. Caras; pleased / they like that you have a reaction to their flirting, they don't think they're all that smooth, so the fact that you react makes their heart all but sing

T. Bellefleur; absolutely delighted / takes great joy in teasing you, rubbing their thumb over your reddening cheeks, grinning cheekily all the while

M. Serrrel; thrilled really / they like that, even if you can usually match their energy, they still have chances to make you blush for them
