I got bottom surgery on July 25th :3

I'm recovering well but I'll be on bedrest for a while. Collie and I will need rent help for September/food/gas/utilities/etc. Two disabled trans women. Anything helps ! Thank yall so much for all you've helped so far, it's saved my life ❤️

#leah is still her legal name #her mom helps w us having a phone at all and can sometimes help but never a full months rent help so thats def the most pressing matter #but we already paid august rent and we have a month so we'll probably be fine #actually still havent paid utilities :/#i was wondering if more donations would happen since the surgery date and apparently not #got three the day of and two the day before but we're at 70 rn after all the gas of dropping me off and visiting twice or smth.#idk. stupid van. she should be taking public transit but i get why she doesnt want to. barely anyone masks on public transit here anymore :/#edit update: collies mom helped us pay utilities for last month which was mostly the electricity bill. water bill comes every 3 months #so i guess we'll see how much that is.

Progress Report - 4/29/24

hello and happy birthday!

...is how this was going to start when I intended to post it this past Friday. But I spent my birthday as a side character in the hit 1996 movie Twister. By which I mean there was a really big tornadoful storm here, the likes of which I've never seen before. It's never a fun time when the words "historic" and "record-breaking" are involved.

But anyway! My birthday was a few days ago, and to celebrate I have a slightly belated gift for all of you!

A release date

That's right, we're back in business here in Speakerland 😁 I'm so relieved to finally return to some semblance of normalcy, and I'm very hopeful that I'll be able to get back to doing regular monthly updates again.

As for this one, the update will be going up on Patreon TONIGHT! I'll be uploading that momentarily, in fact. That means that, barring any strange game-breaking bugs or overly tangled code, the update will be out for public release on Tuesday, May 7th!

I just want to thank everyone one more time for your patience, and for all the messages of support 💙 it really does mean the world to me.

I think that's it for this time! I hope you all have a fantastic week with only mild-to-moderate tornadoes, and I'll see you all next week! 💙💙🌪️💙

🎉The ACOD Wiki has moved!! 🎉

As of this afternoon, the A Chorus of Dragons wiki is now officially moved to wiki.gg and publicly available at https://chorusofdragons.wiki.gg/. If you'd like to contribute, all you need is an account!

Myself (bookwyrminspiration) and SelinaTheLitch have spent the past few weeks prepping it for today's launch alongside wiki.gg staff, and we are the current admins.

For those unaware, the ACOD wiki was originally on Fandom, created by Hawk2020, who laid a lot of the groundwork (thank you!). However, they haven't been active since 2021 and locked 95% of the pages prior to leaving.

This means, until now, no one has been able to update 95% of the information since The Name of All Things. So while the wiki is public again, there is a lot that's missing and out of date. It's going to take a lot of work and time to get this wiki functional, so any helping hands would be greatly appreciated !!

If there's any questions, comments, anything--please do reach out! Otherwise, I'll be celebrating the successful launch and getting ready to overhaul this thing <33

I've just finished writing my hangster fake dating fic for the TG Summer Secret Santa Fic Exchange (@tg2024exchange)!

It surely still needs some finishing touches (and a title) but I'm done writing!

It's 17k words and T-rated with lots of fluff and kissing and Jake and Bradley being idiots.

I'm already so excited to share it with you but since that won't happen until July 4th I thought I'd already share these mood pics!

Also, this is good news for any people reading my other stories, too, because finishing this one means I'm going back to work on I Think We're Alone Now and Ocean Of Love!

DE I know you famously dont like going back to update much of anything you release roughly a year after it launches, but if you leave these characters to collect dust standing in our back rooms like decorations w/o further updates/voice lines/lifestyle content/Kim Convos/NO PASSIVE ANIMATIONS, I will be really disappointed. I know its just pixels, but if think y'all have made some wild choices/made something really cool with introducing The Hex to this game.

Hi Pia! I feel so silly asking this, but was there a Constellations update this month? I thought I saw it on your schedule but can’t seem to find it.

There was indeed a Constellations update this month, but Patreon blocked it for 'sexually gratifying material' (incest) which is kind of horrendous when you consider that all Efnisien is doing in that chapter is opening up to Gwyn in very minimal detail about what he went through.

But no it updated on the 5th of November on AO3, and has since been unblocked on Patreon and has been available on Ream for nearly 2 weeks.

It looks like I may have forgotten to post about it on Tumblr, so if that's the only way you're getting notifications, I highly recommend you subscribe directly to the story on AO3 so you get email notifications!

im still excited to see any theories ppl like john or ryetoast (mostly john) could post about this update bc that name found in the files for the van is a big deal and hints towards david since its a vehicle, but theres a lot of very obvious plotholes and i want to see if they fully acknowledge them and debunk it. bc theres borderline too many plotholes with the van being the car that hit david for it to even be considered true tbh
