Man. It's super upsetting.

Cause, from how we met and interacted with FF, you can tell she's a sweet and nice girl. Despite what she is herself. She was prob happy with her friends, her fellow people. Only for all of this to not only happen, but by god.

I do wonder if Hoyo ever had inspiration from Starship Troopers when making this, because there are some same qualities there.

It also makes me think if FF has ever come out with some of this further with the other Stellaron Hunters. Or if they know already, that they have a collective agreement to not dig in further. FF could have PTSD from it all, and stuff like gaming with Silver Wolf could be a way to take it off her mind.

You know Aventurine has always been around old or rich people. He absolutely does not know slang. He also really doesn't know much about technology aside from what he needs for his job and what he learned along the way.

Now imagine a hacker whose only real goal is just to beat games. She finds out there's this guy who has a magical amount of luck and she tracks him down and has him pull for her gacha games.

Silver Wolf realizes Aventurine's potential for meta in her gacha games and takes him under her wing when it comes to the internet. Aventurine can't be a decade older than her but he acts like a boomer on the internet. She has to fix this

Aventurine communicates in bad Facebook memes and full sentences and gets back replies that should belong in Homestuck

The comedic potential is immense

Listen, I love the idea of Megatron carrying Ultra Magnus bridal-style but I believe that Ultra is fully capable of picking up and carrying Megs like that as well. Its implied in "Endgame Part II" that they fought during the war and, knowing how scared Megatron sounded when he mistaken Optimus for him, Ultra has to be pretty strong. Not to mention, Ultra is quite large for an Autobot and is about as tall as Starscream, who comes to about the top of Megatron's chest.

It's just:

Sentinel: "There's no way Ultra Magnus can carry Megatron! The old bot would probably topple over attempting to pick that glitch-head."

Ultra Magnus: (Walks into the room carrying Megatron and not breaking a sweat) "Care to repeat that, Sentinel Prime?"

Megatron: (In Ultra's arms, smirking)

i don't think any of them would see it as a test to their masculinity per se, but you'd get varying degrees of push back bc their personalities mean that;

Sun would get flustered. Not only from the close proximity of your face and his when you're trying to get a clean stroke of eyeliner, but just the implication that you think he's pretty enough to doll up. He's standing in front of you and watching your eyes rake over his entire form while figuring out whether you like this outfit or the other better, and he loves the attention as much as it has his stomach in knots from the butterflies.

Depending on how much your envy impacts how you interact with him, you could probably be looking at a breakdown on his end. At your feet, on his knees and apologising — there's tears in his eyes and he's sorry that he has what you want for yourself, he'd give it all to you if he could, pluck out every single eyelash and leave them in your hands with zero hesitation. Sun has this need to be seen that even he doesn't realise, and he'd tear himself apart for it. The minute you start to look at him in the pieces of what he is rather than who he is, an ugly desperation begins to rear its head.

Dice is the type to brush you off if you ever say you want to do something. Asking him if you can put makeup on him, or have him try out clothes for you isn't going to get you any sort of response outside of a three-second deadpan stare. He has a business to run, alcohol to drink, money to gamble — there's no time for you and entertaining your whims.

Not unless you make it.

He's a very big advocate of the concept of taking what you want, so it's only if you wrangle him into a seat and prime his face for some powder, that he'll sit back and let you have your way. Use a little bit of force, throw a dress at him and tell him to wear it and he'll be obedient, he likes to get pushed around. If he catches wind of the fact that you envy him, he'll have the time of his life teasing you about it; he meets your stray glances with a smirk and a 'you just wanna be me so bad, huh?'

Vio would be indifferent to an extent, just because it isn't anything out of the ordinary for him. He's an actor, hair and makeup is his second skin, and he's dressed to the nines on rotation — in fact, if you wanted to quit your job as his manager and switch to a station in his dressing room, he really wouldn't care enough to oppose you. All that being said, since his career has taken the novelty from the activity, it isn't his ideal way to spend quality time with you.

On your envy, honestly, Vio would be more surprised if you weren't jealous of him. You should know better than anyone just how perfect he is, right? It's normal that insecurity will rise if you're around him as frequently as you are, so he doesn't even try to understand its source. It isn't very obvious, and probably comes across conceited like most of the things he says, but he will reassure you in his own way. Just a bit. 'It's stupid. You've got me.' Even if you feel you've got gaps in you, Vio is whole, he can cover all the missing parts.

Laurent never fails to be endeared by the things you propose. When he was younger, his little sisters also employed him as their model, but now he's a thirty-something year old man too roughed up by the world to be considered cute, and there you are with a brush in hand promising to make him prettier. It's amusing, sure, yet more than anything, he is enamoured. There's a peace that washes over him, sitting patiently for you as you gauge what top to make him try on first, all he has to do is follow your lead, and he can't remember the last time he was allowed a luxury like that.

You can be assured that Laurent would never judge you if you told him about feeling envious. If anything, it might just open up the doors for a conversation that he likely needed to have with someone at one point in his life. He's a deeply emotionally-repressed person, the context may differ, but the gnawing of want is more familiar to him than the act of breathing. Looking at someone and thinking, if only I could have what they have... could he be happier? He'd never know. The opportunity to find out was never his to take. Thus, he certainly won't misunderstand you, or think you're coming from a place of mal-intent. If offering up his body for you to take for a spin was an option, he'd have done so in a heartbeat.

Ok! I’m not having the means to participate in The All Ships Ship Week by @ficwip as a writer but I’m playing with the Bingo Card!

So this is the Head Canon option I’m going to fill for the TogaSaku ship! 🐢🌸

Right, so you know how Togame gives off big gramps energy, which is super funny to me because Sakura is the complete opposite, always ready to jump into a fight etc. So, one of the things I like to think Togame teaches Sakura is how to enjoy the slow life. Sitting on a bench at the park and just looking at the people passing by. Feeling the shift in the air as the seasons change… Small things like that. Just sitting makes Sakura impatient, but Togame really rubs off on him eventually and now Sakura wonders how much more is out there in our world that he hasn’t been able to notice until now… 🥺

Another hc I have of them, is how Sakura sometimes wakes up from a nightmare that his life with everyone in Furin is a lie. Togame only happens to stay over one of those nights and when Sakura wakes up, the warmth next to him startles him. Togame wakes up and when noticing Sakura’s erratic breathing, he doesn’t hold back at all so he gives him a hug that nearly crushes Sakura until he’s calmed down enough to breathe again. When Sakura explains to him what happened (he’s too honest to cover for himself!!!) Togame decides on his own to spent more time at Sakura’s place. It doesn’t really register with Sakura until he gets back one evening and while folding the laundry he finds a shirt too big to be his… (does he wear it to make sure? does he not??? 😏)

Another thing I appreciate of them, is how they both faced being alone. Sakura always had backlash for his appearance and was pushed out and Togame as he mentioned himself, just wasn’t good at being in the presence of other people— whatever that may mean. I guess… I like the idea that Togame understands how important it is to show Sakura how appreciated and loved he is because he understands how impactful it is on a personal level. 🥰

Metru Nui Archives data log 35494: Cordak Blaster Prototype

I am prefacing this data log with a reminder to the Kehrex Weapons Company that the Archives is not seeking a corporate sponsor, and that any attempts to convince us, or any other Metruan organisation, to convert to your philosophy of "capitalism" will not succeed, no matter how many "rare" prototype weapons you send us (if you wanted us to believe they were rare, you shouldn't have sent so many).

With that out of the way, let's talk about what our... magnanimous would-be benefactors thought was worth shipping all the way from Xia, starting with a bit of preamble about the history of Cordak Blasters.

The Cordak Blaster is a rotary-barrel, muzzle-loaded missile launcher, and one of the most widely used vehicle-mounted weapons in the universe, though beings with enough strength (or under other conditions that make things lighter such as being underwater or within the radius of a Toa of Gravity's powers) can also carry them as handheld weapons.

The Blasters work by using a reciprocating motor to drive a pump that pushes compressed air into the top barrel, propelling the missile (or "mini-rocket", as they are commonly known) forwards, while also triggering a mechanism that rotates the barrels through 60°, readying the next shot. Meanwhile, the missile's inbuilt propulsion system activates, and it travels in a roughly straight line before usually hitting its mark. This process takes such a short time that Cordak Blasters can fire rapidly, though their low ammunition capacity can be an issue.

As you can guess from its… unusual firing method, the Cordak Blaster was first conceptualised by the Vortixx of Xia during their industrial revolution. They were sold to military commanders and rulers on other islands, most of whom proceeded to resell theirs elsewhere.

The ammunition is surprisingly stable, and can be safely stored upon a being's armour with little to no fear of detonation. It's also worth noting that any object with a similar diameter to the barrels of a Cordak Blaster can also be fired by one, though it won't go far without any additional propulsion.

Along with the standard version, there's also a much larger variant, the "Nui Cordak", designed for mounting on warships and other large vehicles, and a smaller, cheaper variant known as the Firework Revolver, which is said to have been developed in collaboration with the legendary Nynrah Ghosts (though this could just be a fabrication for marketing purposes).

The weapon's name is derived from the Toa Cordak, a Toa Team who are most well-known for being disintegrated by Zyglak, to the point that, according to my more... outgoing colleagues, the word "Cordak" has come to be used as a colloquial synonym for desolation. Prior to the unfortunate demise of the Toa Cordak, they were referred to as simply "Revolving Blasters", and you can tell the age of a Cordak Blaster by whether the name on the side is prefaced with the word "Cordak".

Now then, let's get onto the topic at hand. This prototype Cordak Blaster looks and functions vastly differently than the final version.

To start with the least notable change, the pumping mechanism is an external unit, connected via thick, translucent hoses to the back of the weapon. The hoses would presumably have been a major weak-point, and the pump is about as large and as heavy as a regular Cordak Blaster.

But where things get interesting are with the weapon itself, as well as its ammunition. Rather than a rotary design that allows for rapid firing, the prototype Blaster instead uses a gravity-fed loading system, drawing from a box-magazine that clips onto the top, and fires from a single, rather bulky barrel.

The overall form-factor, air-pump aside, is much smaller, built into a gauntlet that is sized for most classes of Toa. The Matoran over in the Weapons Testing complex managed to get it to work by attaching it to an ancient artificial Toa arm from the Level 2 Prosthetics & Implants gallery, then controlling the arm using a machine that Archivists Nuparu and Mavrah designed for this exact purpose.

What this testing showed was how the prototype missiles worked; painted entirely yellow, they were cylindrical, rather than the thin, flared shape and red colouration of the final missile designs, and seemed to be made out of solid metallic protodermis. Rather than exploding on impact, they instead functioned similarly to traditional projectile weapons such as Kanoka, impacting the target with a large amount of physical force; all but one of the targets that the weapons-testers had set up were destroyed by the Blaster, with the remaining one gained a large dent in its torso-piece when the aiming system of the testing arm glitched.

Since Kehrex provided us with a hundred crates of ammunition (each crate contains seven magazines, for a total of exactly two-thousand eight-hundred projectiles) and twenty Blasters, I got the weapon testers to try loading the prototype projectiles into the final design and vice-versa, and the results were. Interesting.

Test 1 resulted in the projectiles loudly falling to the testing-chamber floor, due to the lack of additional propulsion. Rather disappointing, but to be expected. However, Test 2 was far more interesting; while the Blaster itself was damaged, the rockets fired as standard, albeit with a far higher initial launch velocity. I requested that the damaged blaster be put on display next to the intact versions, with an explanation of what happened to it, and that only one of the intact blasters be displayed; the rest will go into storage, along with the remaining ammunition.

Personally I believe these will be quite popular with visitors, though I doubt this will cause Kehrex to cease their attempts at buying our attention.

new Wolf thoughts just dropped

so something that occurred to me last night- in the wedding scene, after being unfrozen, Wolf offers a selfie with Lydia and Astrid and poses and everything, only to look a lil disappointed when they don't seem interested (and why would they be? Lydia was a Mario Bava stan and cop movies were probably the last thing she'd ever watch). The poster behind his desk in his office is very heavily implied to be the one from the movie he died making, based on the foreboding tagline, the suit he's wearing on it (same one he's wearing in the afterlife) and, as @one-fancy-flapjack pointed out, his pose showing the non-injured side of his face.

Going off the design style/fonts it's very likely from the 1980s, which puts his death date way before the existence of smartphones or even cell phones.

So the incredible implication I'm getting here is that 1. there wound up being in universe, a whole Frank Hardballer fandom, whether genuine or ironic, well into the 2010s, which makes sense! either people watched them on TV, were introduced to them by their parents, or had cult midnight movie sessions, 2. big enough that people coming into the Afterlife during the smartphones era ran into him with their skullphones or whatever the punny term for them there is and begged him for a selfie and 3. at some point, someone (probably Janet bless that patient woman's soul) had to explain the concept of a selfie to him for the first time.

and this old dork LOVES it and will offer one any chance he gets because he's nothing if not good to his fans. it's really sweet the fact he must have a decent ongoing fandom in the afterlife and the knowledge that even after he left the world of the living, people were enjoying his movies.

Special containment procedures: SCP-6672 is to be kept in a modified humanoid cell fitted to be a bug enclosure for 16 hours a day. the other eight hours can be spent with supervised enrichment, testing, and psych evals. the doors are reinforced titanium so that its claws cannot penetrate. the vents have reinforced steel for screws. making it easier to contain. it is allowed to keep a few personal items such as their messanger bag and the contents in it.

Description: SCP- 6672-A is a sixteen year old woman named Danelle Leeroy Adams. It usually stands at about 5'2 feet and weighs about 146 pounds being of african american descent. despite having a fairly humanoid shape there are a few indicators of it anomalous features. Such as their abnormally large eyes and large, healed tear wounds on the throat, nose bridge, upper back, and sides. when heart rate spikes, it's limbs shift into mantis-like appendages. mantis wings usually appear on the face when this occurs. when emotionally distraught it turns into SCP-6672-B. SCP-6672-B is a chimera-like creature with the torso and face of SCP-6672-8 but with the lower body of Pseudocreobotra wahlbergi (spiny flower mantis). SCP-6672 usually retains their mental state in this form but is usually emotionally volatile.

Discovery: SCP-6672 was dropped off at Site-17 by her [REDACTED] Dr. [REDACTED]"Ace" Adams before his transfer to Site [REDACTED] in Syria. It was in a state of emotional distress. when it woke up from its unconsciousness.

If you can’t accept things you can’t change, you need to find some things you can. You’ll be much happier for it.

i have a headcanon that when marco was a child on whitebeard's ship, he'd secretly hide under whitebeard's desk when he got scared or overwhelmed. because a big man must have a big desk, and that makes the perfect alcove for a kid to feel safe. when whitebeard eventually notices, he just laughs and accepts it, and makes sure to keep the door unlocked for his son.

after marco grows up, he stops doing that and it fades into a fond story he might occasionally share (especially if drunk)...until after marineford and he finds himself under there again 🫠

I had a thought like a while back, and while at the time, Sam wasn't included in this for a boss fight. But if you think about it. We've faced Sam. Kafka, even faced Blade somewhat. Though Blade prob deserves his own boss fight tbh.

But that makes me think.

Imagine Silver Wolf as a boss fight?

I heard that before Silver Wolf came out, that her stuff was more AoE based, or least seemed to hit multiple targets instead of one. Or that some of her debuffs were bigger.

But point is, in context this becomes more scary. As with her kit, she's able to def shred. Since we don't apply by the weakness typing, more likely this is where we'd fall into. Knowing her too, it'll be more stacked. Imagine her endlessly applying debuffs on us, making us weaker, and if too many, we could die before our turn even begins.

The thought of this tiny shit as a boss fight, is terrifying.

Remember when this video came out there were people who heard the voice at the end and thought the voice was either Sammy or the Ink Demon? Man, those were the days. However with all due respect, I'm glad neither case was right in the end lol.

On this day 5 years ago, "Unknown - April 14th" was posted on YouTube, which means it's been 5 damn years since we first heard from Wilson...

It's interesting to think that even though it's been 5 years, we've only known who Wilson really is for 2 years now (or more appropriately, 1 year and 5 months of those 5 years). Of course, now, after BATDR was released, we know who he is and what his place is in the Bendy universe. But between April 1, 2019 and November 1, 2022, all we knew about him was that he…existed. He was someone - someone bad apparently - who sounded old and who would have some relevance in the plot of Dark Revival. And that's it. We had no name, no appearance, nothing. He was someone, but we didn't know who.

It's no wonder he was only referred to as "Unknown" by fans during these 3 and a half years.

In the end, I would say that this drawing is a mix of 2 things. The first being the result of an idea I've had for a while, which is basically making a drawing in relation to the original video/"unknown" tape, but this time with Wilson, since now we know it was recorded by him. Plus it's been 5 years since the original upload,5 years of Wilson. I think this would be the perfect time to do this.

And second, a strange kind of redux/homage/"final chapter" in this kind of "collection" of drawings I did between 2019 and 2022 all based on the idea of "the unknown weirdo from BATDR saying How Very Interesting Such Knowledge" and so on. All of them having other characters in mind in the role of the Unknown. And now, here I am, redoing this idea again, only with The Man Himself this time. The real Unknown. Now as the Known, so to speak.

Going back to what I said before, you can see this drawing as a kind of farewell to this particular idea that I've kind of repeated over the years, as I've now done it again only with Wilson this time. (Does this mean I'll never draw this concept/line of thought again? I mean, I assume so. But there's no guarantee I can't make something similar again down the line. Who knows what the future holds. We will see what happens in the next 5 years.)

But,yeah. 5 years of Such Knowledge™.
