More, he didn't trust Nagito near his shit, or wanted him in a position where he could snoop about, learn things he shouldn't. Fuyuhiko listened closely as Chiaki told him about the kids, making small mental notes in his head. Masaru he absolutely was keeping away from his work, while he didn't give a rat's ass about them seeing traumatizing things he didn't want to potentially put them in danger. Though there was a name he did recognize, Monica, but just to make sure. "Are you talking about that towa brat? The one that Kazuichi keeps bitching about all because the group she's apart of is mass producing Monokuma." Sadly working with Kazuichi for weapons meant he had to deal with his drama, and constantly hearing about how the towa group's momokuma were probably shitty had gotten on Fuyuhiko's nerves more than a few times.

Chiaki tried not to frown, Peko really was just nothing more than Fuyuhiko's shadow now, wasn't she? Junko really did a number on their relationship, it was so different now. Though she supposed that was the point.

Still, she very visibly relaxed at the end of Fuyuhiko's explanation. Those rules could probably be worked with, even with kids as rambunctious as the warriors, if they weren't sharing the same house than it'd probably be easy to keep them from getting into trouble. Plus, he hadn't said anything about Nagito.

Which meant that he might not know what Nagito had been doing. He probably didn't even know that Nagito had been in Towa all this time, or living with Junko. He did say that he hadn't been very 'active' compared to the others. And that meant that Fuyu wouldn't know about the Warriors at all.

Which meant that things were perfect to hide here, unless Junko came calling too early.

She might be able to actually pull this off.

"Well, see, the thing is, they're sort of hard to get to unless you know what you're doing." She murmured, she's sure she could probably tell him about the weird timeline stuff, especially since Kamukura was the only one left who could cross them right now. "But I can tell you about them. They're three boys and two girls, there's Monica, she's got green hair and is the youngest of the five. Then there's Jataro, the next one up. He usually wears a mask and carries art supplies all around, he's a bit of an oddball but sweet in his own way. Then there's Kotoko, she has pink hair and wears it in pigtails and likes to dress up and be a bit of a blowhard. She's kinda inherited Nagito's flair for the theatrics I think. Then there's Masaru, he's a little rambunctious and might wanna learn how to be a mobster, I dunno how well you'd take to that...then last there's Nagisa. He's kinda like a grumpy cat but he's really super smart. Just put him in a library with Nagito and he should be happy."

She started smiling as she described the children, relaxing and warming up as she did. It was pretty clear she loved them a lot.

COSWAVE MY BELOVED!! Anyway I’ll do a mix of nsfw and sfw because I adore this ship

Soundwave loves that ufo more than life itself it’s crazy, important meeting? Doesn’t matter he’s cuddling Cosmos. Literal uprising on Cybertron? Sounds like a them problem, it’s date night

And Cosmos is the same, the Autobots can wait he’s got a tapedeck to smooch

Soundwave has a thing for size differences going both ways so Cosmos and his mass shifting is his ideal. Something about Cosmos being able to pick him up and pin him against a wall some days and having to lean up to kiss him others gets Soundwave incredibly hot and bothered

Soundwave uses his telepathy to listen for Cosmos at all times, especially when Cosmos is ‘taking care of himself’. Soundwave is a big fan of the noises Cosmos makes when he thinks no one’s listening

Cosmos goes out of his way to find songs he thinks Soundwave would like from the different planets he scouts

Cosmos can mass shift to be incredibly big, like big enough that Soundwave can get inside of him and play around with his wiring

Both of them have a praise kink, in the very rare occasion they do a scene they will not stop praising each other, they’re so soft on each other

When Soundwave does feel the need for some harsher treatment Cosmos will indulge him but its in a verbal way, like telling him to ‘admit’ to his failings rather than the physical stuff Soundwave would do with Megatron

Soundwave will use Cosmos as a weighted blanket regardless of what size he is

Cosmos calls Soundwave ‘Little Decepticon’ sometimes and it has Soundwave weak in the knees

I was talking about this on a call the other day but one of my favorite things about Sea of Thieves is that the characters are allowed to be ugly and so wildly diverse. Even the skeletons are diverse and have compelling and fun designs.

Note that when I say ugly I don’t mean that as a bad thing - I’m a firm believer that ugly doesn’t have to be a bad word, just the same as fat doesn’t have to be. Nobody’s perfect and that’s beautiful etc etc, when I say ugly I mean “not conventionally attractive” and it’s something I wholeheartedly appreciate

Like. Player pirates are randomly generated, which can be frustrating but at the end of the day it’s refreshing to not be able to sit and put together the perfect pirate. There will always be little scars or nicks or features you didn’t choose to place there, but they’re your pirates’ features. Just a couple days ago I realized my pirate has a snake bite on her cheek, and I LOVE that it’s there, though I never would have considered it for her had I been given the option to build her from scratch.

The NPCs, too, are diverse, and allowed to be flawed, and ugly. With their crooked or missing teeth and imperfect proportions and scars and asymmetrical faces - Rare could have very easily chosen to make every last NPC a perfectly pretty face fit for a magazine, and they chose not to. It makes the characters feel a little more real, more like they’re people - I can’t tell you how often I sit and examine the models of NPCs to look at every little detail and just appreciate how imperfect they are.

And like previously stated - and perhaps the thing I appreciate the most - even the skeleton characters are widely varied. Rathbone moves with a hunched posture that hides the fact his frame is fairly small, Grimm is tall and wide in that way that Sea of Thieves builds their fat characters, one of Chi’s horns is growing from her eye socket and she’s lankier than Ruth’s sturdy frame, Horatio has arms that are just a little too long, so on and so forth.

Just… Sure, I don’t by any means love Rare as a company, but the character design we see in Sea of Thieves is some of the best I’ve ever seen. I have a lot of love for this pirate game and the amount of love the design team put into every single character they offer us

ok i know u r all DYING to hear abt my topic for my 60 pg paper basically i had originally wanted to write abt creating a separate standard for women who have been abused killing their husbands other than self defense bc self defense has an imminence requirement that leads many women to be convicted of first degree murder for killing their abusive husbands. but someone in my journal wrote that last yr and even tho i could make a different argument i just felt like there was no way i wasn’t going to be preempted so i was like ok nvm. and there was a whole bunch of other ideas i came up w that were also preempted. but anyway i was really upset abt the first one being preempted but it came to me like a vision that i could write abt postpartum psychosis instead which is a somewhat similar issue in that the law doesn’t consider it bc it is an issue specific to women which leads to women being convicted of first degree murder & even getting the death penalty for killing their children while suffering from that. so i am going to write abt creating a specific standard for that other than the insanity defense which isn’t good enough and no one in my journal has ever written abt that & i haven’t seen any other articles written that make the exact argument i want to make so we are good 👍

Narcissa hadn't been particularly thrilled at Draco's choice of partner. Being friends with Potter and Weasley had been enough, but to get enamoured with someone the likes of her -- a mudblood -- was the worst of it all. She had gotten an ear full from her son when she mentioned she had sent Hermione an owl -- requesting her to meet the older woman for lunch, and had promised to be on her best behavior. Lucius had no idea -- and she kept it that way until she was certain she knew how to keep her husband from getting too angry with their son. At the end of the day, there was nothing she cared more for in the world than Draco -- and if it meant having a lunch with someone she despised, then that was what mattered.

So she sat, dressed as eloquently as ever, with her hands folded on the table in front of her as she waited for the young woman.

And this is where I pull out a fake presentation talking about a 1930s Jancy au that is a slow burn friends to lovers where they get into weird situations and go on adventures like it’s a book written by L.M. Montgomery and has a similar energy to Little Women.

The sun is brighter now that the Erdtree's glow no longer eclipses it. The clouds no longer with a sheen of gold, but an ashy grey which roll across the sky in variable fits. Vyke scrubs at his eye with the heel of his palm, squinting against the horizon where the sun has finally arrived at its zenith for the day. His fingers find purchase upon the clean cloth around his head then, it sits at a slant to cover the abyss that the absence of his other eye creates, and pulls the other side down over the remaining eye.

His fingers itch to wrench the thing from its socket still.

The sudden darkness soothes for but a moment, even when the distant light within blinks in and out of existence. He listens for Darian's footsteps instead, attuning himself to them, and continues to follow the man's strides through the Lands Between without falter. Vyke knows what is coming. He likes to think he has gotten better at this, at telling when the boluses have finally lost their strength inside of him. It is just about the same time every day allowing him to anticipate and, in a way, overlap. When one wears off, the other kicks in, so that the flame never gets a chance to latch onto him again.

But today is not that type of day. They have been walking for longer, something of which Vyke does not wish to stop, but it takes its toll upon his body. The boluses keep the madness down just enough for half of the day, but sometimes the pain shoots through regardless. Where one person may feel a little sore in their legs, Vyke feels as if his whole body was submerged into the lava pits of Mount Gelmir itself.

He does not realize he stopped until Darian's voice drifts through the rush of wind in his ears. His hand pushes the cloth back up, a frenzied-yellow eye peeks out at the blur that is his friend, before he shakes his head. ❛ Not too much, ❜ he says quietly, his hands moving to unlatch the sword belt from around his hips. It is about the only thing tight on him that which he can bear for longer than a second. The trousers he has on are loose, cinching only at the ankles to be tucked into his sturdy boots. His shirt is even looser, wrinkled at the bottom from where the belt had been. They do a well enough job at covering the burns and missing skin ...

But he starts walking again, ignoring the reflexive grimace.

❛ Told myself I must make it past midday before I can rest, ❜ Vyke then explains. A goal, if one wishes, made in silence during the early mornings when sleep was hard to come by. But a goal nonetheless, bringing forth focus that is also quite difficult to come by these days. ❛ We'd never move if we stopped every time there was a flareup. ❜ Eyeless bodies, dried-out husks of people who are frozen in their midst of madness—it flashes in mind, but does its work in spurring Vyke onward.

To stop meant that the flame won.
