You never thought it would come to this. You thought you and Quinn were forever. Everything had been perfect until you had started seeing less and less of him. You couldn’t remember the last time you’d been on a date, and he barely held a conversation with you now. You knew bringing it up would be difficult, but you hadn’t imagined it would blow up like this.

“Quinn, we barely talk anymore! When was the last time you kissed me? A real kiss, not some reflexive kiss on the cheek when you get home from a roadie!” you weren’t sure when it started, but the two of you have been shouting back and forth so long your throat is starting to feel scratchy.

“That’s not fair! Do you know how busy I am?”

“Oh, trust me I know! The only thing I hear about anymore is the Canucks! The team needs this! The team can’t do that! God, Quinn, even when you were hurt and had absolutely no business being on that ice, you couldn’t shut up about your team! Sometimes, it’s like you forget I even exist! Like I’m just some housemaid or someone to come to when you need relief! Except we don’t even do that anymore do we?”

“Maybe it’s because you’re so clingy! I mean, Jesus, I barely get a moment to myself! You’re so obsessed with me! This isn’t even that serious!” 

Your face goes blank the second the words leave his mouth. This isn’t even that serious? He didn’t tell you he wanted to break up, but with those five words, Quinn just ended your relationship.

“It isn’t that serious?” you’re fuming now, and he can tell by how level your voice is. “So what? You’ve been stringing me along for over two years? Let me move in? You remember me having to get permanent residency for this right? All of that and it’s not serious?”

“Babe don’t-”

“No you’re right, Quinn. I’m leaving. You can have your space back. I’d hate to take it anymore since you so obviously don’t want me here,” you head to what was a shared bedroom not even two hours ago. You pack all your bags, at least what you would need for a couple of days, and Quinn does nothing but stand there and watch. He doesn’t speak up again until you’re leaving the bedroom and heading for the front door with your suitcase in tow.

“Baby, c’mon. You’re being dramatic. Where are you even gonna stay?”

“Oh, no! Clingy and dramatic! Guess I really need to get out of your hair then. And where I’m staying is not of your concern anymore,” you roll your eyes, attempting to continue on your path to the door when he blocks it.

“Please. Please just listen to me. It doesn’t have to end like this. We don’t have to end like this,” he’s begging now, and as pitiful as he looks, you can’t find it in yourself to care anymore. You’re tired of sitting around, waiting for him to give you attention like some dog sitting at the door waiting for its owner to return. You have to get out.

“Just stop, Quinn. It’s done. We’re done. No second chances. I’ve given you too many to begin with. If you didn’t want this to end, you should’ve tried harder to keep me before it was too late. Hopefully, you can find someone a little less clingy and obsessive.”

You walk away, not looking back once the door is shut. You just closed a huge chapter in your life. Anyone else would probably be rejoicing right now, basking in the feeling of being free from a situation that wasn’t good. Somehow, though, you can’t help but feel like this might have been a mistake.

f1gossip: what an interview! During his post race interview for Austria 2024, where he was forced to dnf after two different collisions with both Redbulls, Norris didn’t hold back his thoughts. During this brief moment, he talked about the close friendship between this year’s Redbull drivers — saying that y/n (a rookie) should take a step back from her more senior teammate because no one “[needed] her becoming another monster,”. He also went on to say that he was losing respect for Verstappen and the way he raced.

Okay, this post is all over the place. Meaning it's a collection of thoughts that span over the last couple of weeks. Simply jotting things down as I watched and as they occurred to me. So, ye be warned. Here be a case of the verbose. It never ceases to baffle me, truly, how even the best content can trigger malcontent. And when it comes to this show the best example remains Twitter: the poster app for a flaming dumpster fire. Why people don’t just migrate over to BlueSky is just as dumbfounding. Oh well. Muting and blocking certainly helps curate the experience.

By all means, shall we vent (a little?)

1. Apparently Marta and Fina are too cringe-worthy in their dialogue now, as no one in real life would ever talk to their partner that way. Do I agree with this assessment? Most certainly not.

If anything, I find such scenes supremely satisfying. They reinforce the depth of their love and commitment to each other and manage to, somehow, always sound like wedding vows. At this point, honestly, I’d take this kind of scene over the more explicit ones reserved for the family values crowd. I prefer it because those other couples lack this in-depth emotional journey that we’re being treated to with Mafin.

The way Fina adores and cherishes Marta, how she supports her unconditionally. The reverence Marta holds for Fina, how she sees in her the embodiment of peace, of home, of love, of all that is well and good in the world. They are strong on their own, but together? Together they are invincible.

To me it’s obvious you can only have this kind of relationship with your partner if your level of comfort and trust in each other is absolute (nudge nudge wink wink @midniteowlet) And this is how Marta and Fina come across to me: beautifully at ease in each other’s presence, wonderfully supportive of one another, always nurturing and speaking a language of their own. A language of the heart that's intrinsically theirs.

So when they hold each other and confess their love in such a pure, unadulterated way, holding nothing back and simply allowing themselves to speak their truth? It’s a thing of beauty.

You are my example, Marta, my inspiration. You are the staff upon which I lean, whenever I feel myself fading. You are like a bird in flight, battered by the winds that try to bring you down. But always, always you soar again

You are a water lily, for the dirtier the water, the more beautiful the flower grows, so elegant, so serene

You are my strength. I need your embraces, your kisses. To rest in your arms, if only for a few hours, for they are the only place I find solace

To me these kind of dialogues and confessions never feel saccharine. It’s an expression of longing and love, of trust and admiration. And they stay true to the essence of a relationship between two women, where such displays of emotional and psychological authenticity take center stage.

And then we get a kiss. How nuanced the meeting of their lips. For Marta, the profound need to drink from this love that soothes her, cradles her, embraces her, ignites her and brings light and joy to an ever increasing darkness. For Fina, the selfless surrender, the ardent devotion, the intense admiration and the purest love. Theirs is a kiss that heals. A kiss that is home.

Bonus. Fina defending Marta against anyone who dares question her integrity and feeling so protective of her wife who often carries the weight of her family on her shoulders.

2. Optical delusions during the Marta & Pelayo scenes? Mind boggling. Personally, I'm quite enjoying them. I mean ... Fina's gentle touch has rubbed off on Marta 😌

3. Marta sarcastically saying she'll have to meet her future mother in law? Apparently not sitting well with some people. Sarcasm and irony have always been Marta's way of dealing with stressful situations. She's always been shown to awkwardly crack a joke, especially when things feel overwhelming and depressing. Seeing anything else in that? Claiming that she was all happy at the prospect of meeting that woman? Way off mark, imho. Marta and Fina are trying to make the best of an unpleasant reality. They have accepted this is the path they need to walk, but they also admit it's a painful one. I wish people would stop seeing things that aren't there. Considering they've done nothing but reinforce how much Marta & Fina are married to each other? Maybe one day it'll resonate that Marta's marriage to Pelayo is solely for convenience and something to, hopefully, offer protection.

Will they suffer because of it? Yes. Will they be dealing with the contraptions of a marriage, even though it's a fake one? Yes. Will their time be cut short, leaving them desperate to interact with each other? Also yes. In theory, this marriage will solve x and y. In practice, it will bring a host of problems they've not dealt with before: Pelayo's political career will place them under a microscope, Marta will be expected to play the dutiful wife in public, Fina will again feel like the odd one out (even though she is the sole reason Marta agreed to remarry). The world they want to fence out is very much pressing in, invading a space they want to call their own. The world will always demand its pound of flesh. But as long as they hold steady, hold fast and hold onto each other? They can make it work.

On to greener pastures.

Marta wanting to help Gema because she understands her need and desire to work, to feel useful and in control of ones life? I really loved their scene together and I don't think they've ever had a tête-à-tête before. I also love the fact that Gema doesn't aim for a position where she'd be in charge and doesn't shy away from hard work. I think that speaks well of her character. That being said? While I love Marta interceding for Gema with Joaquin, once again proving that her generosity and kindness knows no bounds? I do worry abut one thing with Gema: she's made of gossip. She'll be poking her nose into everyone's business, soon learning that Marta & Fina are together and who knows what she'll do with that information. To be frank, I'd been hoping Gema becomes the store overseer and robs Carmen of her position. That would have made for good drama and would have served as another lesson for Tasio, given he was loudly proclaiming he voted against Marta to secure Carmen's position. We shall see what this move holds in store and if Fina warms up to her. Gema is not a bad person. Let's trust she'll make the right choice. At least we got some peak comedy from the scene between Gema, Claudia & Fina.

Speaking of. Marta is too kind. Too kind to Andres, to Joaquin, to Tasio. However, in the long run she stands to win more if she's gracious and understanding. Hatred never leads anywhere good and Marta? Marta simply isn't made that way.

Still? Team Fina here. Fina and her perpetual hatred of anyone who hurts Marta. True to her feisty nature, Fina's there, representing, staring daggers into traitors. She's strong enough to hate them all, for the both of them. Forza, Fina!!!

Honestly though, I'd dearly love a scene where these a-holes apologize to Marta. But, hey. She's smarter than I am. Picking her battles and all that. Certainly not worth it to rage against the windmills. Better to sit it out and bide her time. Her moment will come again.

I suppose it just irks me somewhat when certain plot-points, that carry weight, seem to fall to the wayside. Or do they? Time will tell.

Curious about Irene. I suspect, long-term, she'll be against her brother. It would seem she does not approve of his methods.

Best thing about the Andres drama? Not seeing Andres. I guess Marta lost the directorship so she could play detective in his case. Too bad he's back now and comes up with brilliant ideas like the families rotating leadership every 6 months. The one great thing about Marta not being in charge was Joaquin having to struggle with the damn bathhouse on his own. Remains to be seen if anything comes of that. I'm not much of a business mind but this suggestion seems off to me. It can only work if there is trust and a willingness to cooperate. Given all the bad blood between these families right now? Maybe it's not such a good idea. Curious if they'll take this idea and run with it. Oh, well. Some Mafin goodness today. A sprinkle of sour'n'sweet, a pinch of shared concerns, a dash of comfort and some good ol' domestic ribbing.

I wanted to ask, no I wanted to request if you could maybe something like Marshall meets a not much younger woman (like three years younger or something similar) simply in a take coffee shop (let’s do he is their with Hailey and it’s her favourite coffee shop) and reader is the cashier and know Hailey pretty good as they both are friends (maybe because they met somewhere else and just got friends or so) so as she sees Hailey walks in she already make’s Hailey’s usual Coffee abd even before Hailey can get in Line, calls Yn loud through the entire Coffee shop “Hailey” out. (yn is a hard working Person, and often overworks herself to the absolute maximum, often forgets to drink to eat to sleep, but always has a smile on her lips just to kind for the world, let’s also do she doesn’t know she can sing or rap as she was told often by false friends she can’t sing so she stopped and started to think like that) so Hailey gets her coffee and quickly ask for Marshall for some other drink. Yn smiles and nods and start making the drink and hums quietly while doing. Marshall sees potential

Title: Sunday Mornings & Second Chances

Every Sunday morning, without fail, Marshall and Hailie walked into the same little coffee shop. It had become their thing—an unspoken tradition that started years ago when she left for college. Now, even though she was grown, they still met here, catching up over coffee and pastries, just the two of them.

And, of course, you.

You owned the shop, and from the moment they became regulars, you had a way of making them feel at home. Maybe it was the way you always remembered their orders—black coffee for Marshall, a caramel latte for Hailie. Or maybe it was your laugh, warm and genuine, the way you teased Marshall when he grumbled about overpriced pastries but still bought one every time.

At first, Marshall didn’t think much of it. He wasn’t looking for anything, especially not in a place like this. But then there were the small things—the way your eyes always seemed to linger on him a second too long, the way you bit your lip when he said something unexpectedly funny, like you were trying not to laugh too hard.

And Hailie noticed.

She never pushed, never said anything outright, but she nudged—just enough.

“You know, Dad, she always seems happy to see you,” Hailie mused one morning, stirring her latte.

Marshall snorted. “She’s nice to everyone.”

“Yeah,” Hailie smirked, “but I don’t see her slipping extra cinnamon rolls to just anyone.”

Marshall glanced down at his plate—sure enough, an extra pastry sat there, one you hadn’t charged him for. He looked up toward the counter where you stood, wiping your hands on a towel, stealing a quick glance at him before looking away.

The next week, when Hailie “forgot” her sweater at the shop, she insisted they go back inside to get it—giving Marshall just a little more time to talk to you.

The week after that, she got “caught up” in a long text conversation right as you came over to their table, conveniently distracted so that you and Marshall ended up talking a little longer than usual.

It was so subtle that Marshall barely noticed the pattern. But suddenly, he found himself looking forward to Sundays in a way he hadn’t before.

And then, one morning, he lingered after Hailie left—just for a few minutes.

You raised an eyebrow as you wiped down the counter. “No Hailie today?”

“Nah, she had something to do,” Marshall said, hands in his pockets. “Figured I’d still come by.”

A small smile tugged at your lips. “Just for the coffee?”

He met your gaze, something shifting in the air between you. “Nah,” he admitted, voice softer this time.

You held his stare for a moment, a flicker of understanding passing between you. And just like that, Marshall realized—maybe Hailie hadn’t been so subtle after all.

the lion: the ultimate protector. you'd never feel unsafe in his presence. not just from legitimate threats, but.. waking up in the morning to find his arms around you, eyes watching you, lips ghosting your hair as though he would never be able to let you go. you're minding your own business reading a book or listening to others talk, and even though he's on the other side of the room he's still watching, calculating, making sure every single person near you is treating you well. if anyone did try anything? nice knowing them. you become his priority. his endless war. nothing will ever harm you again, except maybe him, on his endless war with making you feel every ounce of pleasure the universe can offer. ;)

fulgrim: is also your best friend, but not in the typical guy way. he's literally invested in every single one of your stories, he knows everyone's little secret, he comes back to you with tales he's learnt and weekly scandalous gossip. he knows everything about you. it's not even deliberate either, he's just so in sync with you that he could take a wild guess and still get it right. nights together can feature many things, all of which are thoroughly enjoyed due to his ability to perfect every single thing he does, but knowing there will never be a time you cannot talk to him about something? knowing he'd give you the best advice, more accurate responses, it's very comforting.

perty: you know everything with him is genuine. he would never lie to you, and that may be hard to swallow at first, but really? its a godsend. he'd not try to make you feel better by telling you a slight truth, he'd rather help you to move past it, work on the issue, etc. and that's why, a long way down the line when he does give you infrequent but honest words about his love for you, it means more than anything. there is not someone in the galaxy that you could trust more than this man, not with your life, your secrets, or your heart. and really, it would only ever get stronger over time.

the khan: enjoyably unpredictable. a man who values freedom always would be. he uses his instincts in everything and therefore it may not always be easy to know what he's going to do next. would encourage you to do things you may never have thought about, shows you new parts of the galaxy and introduces you to topics and concepts you knew nothing about before him. for that reason, he's an absolute storm when you are alone. completely unpredictable and completely dedicated to pleasing you. he's also just enjoyable to be around. he may be a touch arrogant and quick tempered, but he's witty, sarcastic, and excellent with his successful attempts to rile you up with teases.

leman: his love is very pure and built on a huge amount of respect. small gifts, tokens of appreciation, oh its all coming out with him. 'made me think of you' type thing and it's the most beautifully designed canvas that you know he wouldn't have just stumbled across. of course this is very different to how everyone else sees him, and no one would believe you. uses that to his advantage. loses all sense of practicality though when it comes to you and would probably show you 110% of his emotions even when he didn't intend to. his heart is in it, no half measures, you're his entire world now and as long as you will let him, he will love you for the rest of his life.

dorn: he is cold, but there is that burning fire that rages beneath. and when the cracks are fully formed? its impossible to ignore. he will not say I love you, but show you he loves you. there are never ups and downs, no maybes - its always a definite. if you need something? he gets it. you are worried about something? there is no need to worry for it any longer. he plans, he knows what to do to help you, he would never give reason to doubt that 1. he could protect you, and 2. his unwavering loyalty to you. does everything in his power to please you, particularly in the physical manner. when he's around, everything feels intense, and its oh so hard to ignore.

curze: he's trying. he is. you can see it each day. sometimes its not obvious, but he really does watch other people and try to imitate what they do to show you the love you deserve. because in his mind? you deserve it all. would he ever tell you that. no. he'd find it stupid. he'd rather keep it all to himself. but sometimes he bottles too much inside and it all comes out, all at once, every feeling he has. in that moment he just needs someone to hold him, reassure him, and be there to feel the love that follows. of course it isn't conventional, but even if he just taught you tarot, explained his twisted thoughts, tried to show you your fate - he's sharing a part of him that he'd not let another see.

sanguinius: effortlessly devoted, but not in the obsessive, overbearing way. you can see it in his eyes. he doesn't need to worship the ground you walk on or call in a choir to sing about you, you can just feel it. the small gestures. something so meaningful but so tiny that it almost snaps reality. helping you to braid your hair. trying his best to help you with something that he could have just ignored. listening to you with intent - not because he loves you so much he doesn't want to look away, but because he wants to hear you. listen to you. understand everything he can about you. it's so natural to him and warms you every time. something something doesn't care what time of the month it is either.

ferrus: always pushes you to be the best version of yourself. of course I have covered the bad side of this, but provided it's tamed, he understands there are limits, it can be rewarding. he will always reassure you that he doesn't need you to be perfect to love you, and would always encourage you to make decisions which benefited you - not anyone else. you'd also get to see his emotions, a rarity, knowing he only trusts so many to see him like that. a national accompaniment to this is that he pays a lot of attention to you. knows you extremely well. so if you ever argue, or don't talk for whatever reason.. be sure to engage the full ferrus apology - bedroom and all. crafts you really nice things too (of course)

angron: love is the only quiet he gets from pain. when you see him at ease, even for only a few moments, you can rest assured knowing that you were helping him. when he holds your hand, when he stands before you and defends you with his whole being, when he lets you fall into his arms and hesitantly wraps them around you. you know then that it's true. because he wouldn't do that for anyone else, and he couldn't physically do that if he did not have a moment of reprieve. and he knew as well that you gave him a chance, saw him for more than what everyone else did. that means more to him that anything.

rob: truly appreciates you. like, will show you, will make sure you know, will do anything in his power to make sure you're aware that the only reason he has an ounce of sanity left is because of you. you're the only person he will pause everything for, he will turn everything off to listen to you and your thoughts, he will actively seek your opinion on things he knows you would be happy to give it on, etctec. he just treats you like an equal. and considering who he is, that may be hard. but he does value you. yes he is pulled in every direction by all his duties but he knows where the limit is, and if either of you are reaching it, he will do what he can to make sure you feel happy and secure.

morty: it's those quiet moments that really stand out. when he lets his guard down for just a second, when he finally trusts you and knows that he would give his life for you until the very end. it wouldn't be easy for him to admit, and he probably never would admit it, but that one moment where he finally relaxes his shoulders and just lets you carry his burdens with him? it really does show a lot. and he would give everything for you. not even an ounce would be spared. it's easy to see it when he says it, that he loves you, even if he doesn't know the true meaning of the word. may not be conventional love, but to him, its everything.

magnus: there is not another who could love as much as he could. it's that simple. he's so utterly in love with you that he'd move heaven and earth just to see you smile. for a man with so many things going on, so many things to remember and do, he still keeps you at the very top of everything. finds little things for you that he'd think you like. recounts stories to see your smile. lays beside you and holds your hand whilst you tell him what's on your mind. it's routine for him, he does it without even thinking. nothing, and that is a hard nothing, will ever make him as happy as you do, and even when you're not around everyone hears your name, little snippets of his love for you, how much you mean to him, etc. he's so enamoured, so trusting, so in awe, that everything you do means something to him.

horus: incredibly intuitive and knows what you need before you do. has the tea and some fruit in his hands before you'd even mentioned you were thinking of having some. had someone prepare you a bath before you even said you were stressed. brought you some flowers when you were feeling down. cancels all his plans because you need someone with you. he does it to show he cares, knowing that sometimes he can be distant or busy, and it can be incredibly effective. also holds you incredibly tight. like your hand, when he embraces you, etcetc, it's like you're his security blanket in a way, which seems stupid because why does he need one, but actually he finds a lot of comfort in your presence.

lorgar: perfect if you want to be worshipped. that's how he'd treat you. and yes this has a dark side. but limited, not indulged or used for bad purposes, a good balance can be met. he's soft. his world would crumble without you. his exterior and how others view him is so different to what he's like with you that it seems wrong. but you are his everything. he would tell you it every day. he'd make sure you never forgot it. it may not be evidential to everyone, he's not proclaiming his love and devotion to anyone he sees, but to you its obvious. a silent prayer for your protection each day. for your good health. for anything he can do for you. and you'd know he'd burn worlds for you - just use that for the right purposes.

vulkan: a kind soul meant for love. he's not obsessed and devoted. he's not silent and brooding. he's what you think of when you have soulmate in mind. it seems to just come natural to him. he's your best friend, your lover, your everything - and he takes pride in that. he'd not need to burn worlds for you, he'd not watch you from the other side of the room without a world, he'd be beside you with his hand gently rested on you. it's just... normal? is that bad to say? but like the version of normal you always wanted, the normal in romance novels which warped our perceptions of relationships. you know. cute.

corax: incredibly loyal. quietly loving you from a distance until he's with you, then he's far more passionate and open. he's not one to have elaborate gestures done in your name, he probably wouldn't even do more than speak in a normal tone whenever others are around. but you know he's there. a brush of your hand with his when you look uncomfortable or worried. a glance in your direction every so often if you are separated. he'd always find his way back to you though, and you always know he's there at your side. and yes, very passionate when it's just you two, so much so you'd have first doubted it was the same person. he just saves it all for you. especially few things he's picked up along the way he thinks you may enjoy.

alpharius: you could never doubt his love. he'd never let you. it's so obvious that it's what makes telling him apart so simple. he just can't deny it when he's around you, he can't resist it at all. love is in everything he does. his touches as he walks past. his names for you. his insistence on always having you in his arms. it can be endearing. it is nice knowing that you are so loved, never a doubt in your mind that he does care. and if you do doubt him? he will change that. you won't ever doubt him again. you don't ever need to worry about his love for you, it won't change. he'll never stop loving you.

I just KNOW in my fucking soul that Joel loves women. Like, he loves absolutely everything about women, even the things we deem as flaws. Real, raw, human. He would definitely worship his lover. Soft belly? He'd love that. Hip dips? He'd sink his teeth in it. Pubic hair? Hell yeah, he'd love to feel it scratch against his face as he eats you out. Scars, birthmarks, stretchmarks? Absolutely gorgeous. And I bet that he LOVES some nasty, messy period sex. I bet the blood and the neediness of his girl on her period brings out something feral in him.

I'm not certain about Joel liking the 'nasty' aspects of period sex. It was referenced frequently yet never really seemed consistent with his character. Perhaps if his partner was uncomfortable and asked for his assistance in alleviating her cramps, he would oblige. Still, I believe his motivation would stem more from a desire to provide relief and care, rather than finding pleasure in the act itself.

But other than that, I wholeheartedly agree that Joel would absolutely adore and worship women in their most natural, authentic state—flaws, imperfections, and all. He seems like the type who would appreciate a real, raw, unfiltered woman.

I can totally picture him marveling at a soft, womanly belly—tracing those curves reverently, kissing every inch of skin. Seeing the beauty in subtle hip dips and letting his tongue explore them thoroughly. Feeling turned on by a thatch of pubic hair, rubbing his face against the coarse hairs before lapping at the sensitive flesh underneath.

Joel would probably find things like stretch marks and scars incredibly sexy - proof of a woman's strength and resilience. Birthmarks, in particular, are unique beauty marks that he'd make a point to kiss and caress. He'd likely get lost worshipping every freckle, every mole, every distinct feature that makes his lover distinct.

I think he'd praise and compliment his partner constantly, till she's red-faced and giggling, but still blushing under the intensity of his desire. He'd probably go down on her for long, leisurely stretches of time, determined to make her fall apart. Just gradually building her up until she's a writhing, moaning mess.

Joel would undoubtedly be that perfect mix of tender and naughty, taking his time to map out every bit of skin with his hands and mouth. Wanting to savor but also driven to please. Q. Surprise surprise everyone spiralled for no reason. But I'm super curious to know what you thought of the interview?

A. Actually many of us weren't spiralling at all because we understood there wasn't anything he was really going to be able to say regarding Buddie. And surprise, surprise he said nothing. It was actually a very good interview overall (Eddie is Jesus for the win!) I spent the last several days reading quite a bit of Jeff's previous work and he's very good at what he does so I wasn't worried at all about this interview. Listen I was already 100% certain that Buddie was happening and his non answer to the Buddie question only furthered my belief. Every other answer he gave was well thought out and perfectly articulated until he got to the Buddie question. And because he couldn't say anything he just threw out a bunch of words that when jumbled together gave the illusion of an answer when he really didn't answer the question at all. He was clearly desperately trying to not say anything he wasn't supposed to and it was hilarious.

Look it's easy to say that everything we're seeing now is because the show is finally on a network that understands how to promote their shows. And actually wants to promote the show. But the pr focus is very intentionally, and noticeably, Buddie centric. The Family Feud episode, all the Ryan and Oliver interviews, the Ryan photoshoots, Oliver playing in the NBA all-star game, the pop culture jeopardy question (I need people to understand how big that actually is), the New Years Instagram post, it's all Buddie focused. They are getting very close to hard launch territory. So while you can say some of it may genuinely be the result of moving to a network who not only understood what they had, but actively embraced the idea of it, that doesn't account for how singularly focused on them the pr has been. No one else on the show is coming close to getting that much attention from the network. I cannot stress that enough. The majority, including the journalists who cover the show, all believe this is going the same direction. We wouldn't all be seeing it or reading it incorrectly. The network, the show, and Ryan and Oliver all know what people think is coming and I do believe at this point if it wasn't happening they would say it outright. It is not difficult to say something like 'they love each other and have an incredible bond and are absolutely family. We will continue to focus on them and the unit they have created together but it will be in a platonic manner'. That's just not hard to say. And I believe at this point, given the fact that the majority are now anticipating the show pairing them off together, that they would have absolutely stopped the speculation. I've already said I believe they're coming this season but I actually believe it's happening sooner than I even thought. I won't be surprised if we know by 8x13. Does that mean they're officially a couple by then? Not necessarily, but I wouldn't be surprised if we know by then. I don't think ABC has any intention of dragging this out very long. There's too much focus. It's been building for 7 years and I think the network is looking forward to capitalizing on the popularity.

Yes to all of this. I've already posted extensively about the interview so I won't be doing it here anymore. But essentially, Buddie is coming and I agree with Ali that we will get confirmation sooner than later where the story is going.

Like Ali said though, I don't think they'll be together by 8x13. But I do think they'll both be aware of their feelings and then the whole pining, longing and 'will they won't they' era will begin, just like Oliver wanted. 😋 They'll probably take this story to its natural conclusion towards the end of the season.

It's odd just how sure I am about this. The me from a few years ago could only dream of fandom times like these. 🤗

HE ISSSSSSS, call back to my fav and first headcannon of Dakotas heart taking wayyy longer to recharge when stressed and overused <3. Awwwwww w2 keeping the others awaaayyyy!!! I love Kota sm but it’s SUCH A GOOD IDEA TO KEEP HIM AWAY FROM RABBIT……. That would not go well at ALL….. idk about Virion tho :O…. Again it’s so sweet that w2 is keeping her word and watching out for him!!! aaaaaaaa!!! Rabbit would be completely out cold the whole time, no half awake moments and only a bit of movement but even with that he’s fully under the jacket as much as he can and seems to instinctively tuck his legs close to him and his ears tucked away as much as he can as well.

When Rabbit wakes up everything is blurry and his brain is absolute mush of sleepiness and confusion, though it’s quickly pushed away with the still remaining pain of his neck and chest, making his eyes snap open and panic flooding back in as he remembers what happened with Bell. Said memories were still blurry around the edges, only remembering pieces of someone helping him and wrapping himself up after escaping, so he quickly sits up from his curled up position and scopes out the room, even though he’s still mostly under the jacket, to see who the heck helped him and if there was anyone else there. If w2 looked, Rabbits eyes seemed a lot more aware, the dilation normal now and the foggy look fully gone, now replaced with alarm and a bit of pain in Rabbits amber colored eyes.

I agree that it would be better for the Door of Time to close after Link leaves, but there's no way to be sure that it would. Maybe Rauru could close it? Who knows!

About the Master Sword I should not have phrased it like that, I said myself earlier that maybe Link needed it to regain his memories and that could explain why Zelda made sure he got past the Door. So it's not that it plays absolutely no role in this particular time travel, but there's something else happening since Zelda also uses the Ocarina.

I think there's a misunderstanding haha, I didn't mean that you need to give different names to the brasserie and the building itself. Unless the building houses something else besides the restaurant? If not I would just go with Brasserie La Perle de Lune (in that order ^^), or Brasserie du Clos, or Brasserie Château Marée-Chant as you prefer. Well the thing with Rhoam's cabin is that my Link and Zelda would never let the Yiga take over the Plateau in the first place. That really bothered me in TotK (especially what was done to the Shrine of Resurrection). Maybe Link will have to defend the Plateau against a Yiga attack, but they would not be able to settle there without anyone doing something about it.

Yes I want the rebuilding of Castle Town to still be a work in progress, but I'd prefer for the new town to be a bit more than small huts. I need to find the right balance between what could be done realistically in just a few years (with the help of technology) and my desire to finally see a "real" city in this version of Hyrule.

I can't remember if you showed me your design or if I just saw it on your blog, but yes I had already seen it ^^ I really like it, especially the lacy parts! It would have been so much better to get that in the game instead of that terrible hair and make-up.

Oooh I love this Stormbringer Lynel, it's such a fun idea! It would make you think twice before taking a stroll through Akkala 😆 The Maelstrom Lynel sounds cool too! I wanted a quest with a sea monster for my rewrite, something like that could be interesting.

The Gerudo instrument was fun! But the weapons and clothes were so lazy… though at least I like that the purple color seems to be a reference to OoT. But the vai looking like barbarians with shaved heads and painted faces were a bit weird next to Ganondorf with his kimono and katana. I don't know, I thought it didn't make much sense.

Ah yes I would love being able to find ancient weapons, and maybe that would make the Sky Islands or the Depths more interesting. I loved the scimitars too, I don't understand either why they were not included in TotK…

I'm not sure it's explained in WW that only Fishmen and monsters can live in the Great Sea. I didn't find it in my copy of Hyrule Historia either but maybe I missed it. The game itself states that there's no fish, which can make sense since this is not a "real sea" and just a flooded kingdom, but then why would whoever created the Great Sea allow the Fishmen to stay but not the Zora? Why would their magic water repel almost all life except for monsters? I don't know this whole thing never made sense to me. It would be so much easier to just say that the Rito are a different species and that the Zora now live somewhere else.

If Link was able to find the remnants of Zelda's study in my rewrite (assuming a journal or plants could be preserved that long) it would not be in Necluda, more like under Hyrule Castle or Castle Town with what I have planned ^^ As for the amber, that's a great idea for the official timelines but here Sun never had to seal herself in amber (since that would have ended in two Zeldas existing at the same time as we already discussed).

Yes being cursed doesn't necessarily make you evil, but in my lore only the Goddesses themselves or a very powerful deity would be able to cast such a curse on an entire race, and being targeted by the gods would probably brand one as evil (and I don't believe the Golden Goddesses interfere with their creation like that anyway). Or that would require the Triforce, but I think we can be sure that this is not what happened.

I also prefer for the voe to be a last gift from the Goddess. I find the Koume and Kotake option interesting to explore but it's not something I want in my "main" lore or in my TotK rewrite. Not sure it would imply that all men are evil though, in this case it would mostly confirm that Koume and Kotake are.

It's true that the Gerudo could never be truly independant in that setting and would always need to seek out males from other races (and btw their insistance on keeping men outside of their city could be explained by a desire/need to preserve their culture). But I can point to other races that are dependant on their deities and would be in trouble without them, which could also be considered bad planning. The Kokiri/Koroks are born from the Deku Tree and depend on his protection, so it seems they would cease being born without him. At least the Gerudo have a back-up plan and can reproduce with males from other races. Same for WW Rito, they can't grow wings without Valoo. They may not necessarily die without wings, but they still need them to become fully grown adults. As for the Goron, we don't know much but it seems that they are born from the earth, and there could be a deity involved in that as well unless they just spawn spontaneously. So I don't think the Gerudo are the only ones potentially doomed by the loss of their Goddess (and they really aren't, they just need to find mates).

Also, are the Golden Goddesses actually shown to be careful planners? After all they did leave behind a divine relic that's been the cause of so much bloodshed in Hyrule. And this relic can even grant evil wishes.

Well the Gerudo would only need to have one child each to keep the population stable while other females need two, that's actually less pressure in a way. But sure they need to travel to find men. I guess it's a lot easier when Hyrule isn't completely destroyed, and also let's be honest… Would it be so hard for the vai to find men who'd be more than happy to, you know, father their children, and then never have to take care of them since they would be raised in Gerudo? It doesn't sound that hard unless what they're looking for is an actual husband and not just a hookup. But does it really make sense for a vai to look for a husband if staying with him means being separated from her daughters? (unless she refuses to send them to Gerudo Town of course).

And do the Gerudo truly live such a nightmare? It never seemed to be the case to me, they seem rather proud and happy. Most of the ones we meet outside of Gerudo Town are excited about their travels and seem to enjoy looking for a voe. So I don't know. Sure if this was a curse it would be horrible for them to lose all their men, but I think it's different if they were an all-female race from the start.

The Sands Goddess didn't have the same planning ability as Hylia because she was not the Goddess of Time. Also she was designed by the Golden Goddesses to only give the Gerudo daughters, so creating only one male could be a huge task for her. Maybe she even had to sacrifice her entire being in this action, which might explain why she doesn't reincarnate like Hylia could, or Jabu and the Deku Tree. So she did all she could and did it in emergency, right before dying, and was maybe hoping to give more males to the Gerudo but simply couldn't.

This might not be 100% satisfying but at the moment that's the best thing I can come up with without involving a curse haha. But I'm not done thinking about this, things might still change.

I knew you were going to answer that saying "this is unfair" isn't real life logic haha (and I agree that life hasn't been fair to Sky and Sun anyway). It's just that such an ending would probably leave me feeling unsatisfied and even a bit robbed, and I think it would require a lot of other changes to be made to the story in order for it to work properly. But anyway you're right, as things are now this would just be happening behind the scenes so what I'm saying doesn't really make sense. But just thinking about it changes my perception of SS in a way I don't really enjoy, so it's not a theory I favor.

Yes in that setting I'm pretty sure that the other Sun would not make herself known to Link and Zelda and would let them have their happy ending. But I think Zelda would likely suspect her existence and know that something is wrong. I guess even Link could notice that the Temple's doors are suddenly open and would ask Impa a few questions.

I had no idea Tingle called Farore the Goddess of Wind in WW, so I went on a little quest to see if I could find the same quote in the French version of the game. Apparently it's in Tingle's description of Outset Island and I never had the chance to play with the Tingle Tuner mode. I can't find the same quote in French anywhere and I don't even know if this was included in the HD remake (I guess I'll have to wait for a Switch version to find out… if they ever release one). This has me wondering if this quote isn't something exclusive to the English version, but I can't be sure and I'd like to know what the original Japanese text says. The French wikis mention that Farore is the Goddess of Wind in WW but don't provide any quote, it just looks like the pages were translated from English but that they couldn't find the same quote in French. It's really frustrating!!

Anyway that's a bit weird because WW already establishes Zephos as the God of Wind, and he seems to be a minor deity compared to Farore. The way I see it, wind is just the element that Farore tends to be associated with, and since a lot of myths might have been lost with Hyrule in WW this could just be a mistake on Tingle's part. I mean this is the game that gave us the Golden Triumph Forks haha.

I'm not limiting Nayru/the Golden Goddesses to a singular domain, quite the opposite ^^ To me Nayru being the Goddess of Wisdom includes different concepts such as order, law, science, magic, etc., and even time (since she's introduced as the creator of the world's fondamental laws), while calling her the Goddess of Time doesn't include all of that. That's why I wrote that I found it a bit restrictive. But sure she could have both titles, the same way Farore could be known most commonly as the Goddess of Courage and also called the Goddess of Wind in some situations.

Oh I didn't think of the blocks from OoT! I would say though that they don't really use any time powers, they're just random blocks that appear or disappear for some reason when Link plays the Song of Time (it's just as absurd as playing the Song of Storms to open holes in the ground haha). But yes they were blue and associated with time, and of course Nayru is too. The difference with Hylia in my theory is that Nayru created the rules of time (if that makes sense) among other fundamental laws, while Hylia's power specifically allows her to manipulate time and foresee the future. In a way I see Hylia as Nayru's spiritual daughter who inherited some of her powers over time (and that's why the color purple she's represented with is very close to blue).

The Master Sword has also been depicted as either blue or purple though, so that asks the question of the true color of all of these things! Nayru is definitely linked to time so it makes sense that the timeshift stones are in Lanayru (and Hylia also doesn't have a province named after her).

"From the edge of time" could definitely just be a poetic way to say that Hylia kind of recorded a message for Link before dying haha. But I find it interesting that she would phrase it like that, I like to see it as a clue.

Well if Zelda simply sent Link to a point further back in time, wouldn't there be two Links existing at the same time in the Child Timeline? But sure Zelda creating a brand new timeline also raises a few questions that kind of... make my head hurt. I'm not sure what happens exactly, I've always wondered! All we know is that Link finds himself in the Master Sword's chamber with the Door of Time already open, which hints at things happening in a different way this time (because he definitely doesn't have the three spiritual stones and the Ocarina of Time yet since this is before Ganon's coup, and the ending seems to imply that this timeline's Zelda doesn't know him yet). That's why I believe Zelda might have done something a bit more complex than sending him to a point further back in time, but there's no way to be sure. The Triforce of Courage is also visible on Link's hand during the ending, and we also know thanks to TP that the Triforce is still separated in the Child Timeline despite Link and Zelda preventing Ganon from entering the Sacred Realm this time. So maybe Zelda isn't able to change everything? It's complicated haha.

Anyway, whether OoT Zelda creates a new timeline or just sends Link further back in time, that's still huge time powers and that's not something Link is able to do by playing Zelda's Lullaby.

I also believe it is more likely that Talon inherited the ranch. True, Talon might not always have been so lazy, but maybe if that was the case the game could have hinted at hit. All we know is that he leaves his daughter alone with Ingo and only comes back after Link deals with the situation, which does not make him look so great. And he only promises to work harder after that.

I haven't gotten to developping the technology that much yet, but I'm really interested in seeing what the different races could do with it! I love the idea of using the Sheikah to infiltrate the Yiga bases. I wish TotK had done something like that and shown the Sheikah helping Link that way.

Yes I thought you could maybe use clos! Aquaticlos is funny, it can work! Though maybe you could use the same logic as for the raisins (I love this Raisins de Terre idea by the way, it makes sense!) and say that what the Zoras call a clos already refers to something that's underwater, since that's probably the case for most of what they cultivate.
