Walter Wick (the artist) still makes books and has one available next summer (Can You See What I See?: Curiosity Shop) that looks delicious. The new scenes still seem to be made by hand with very little digital editing (check out his behind the scenes).

(But, the new ones are a bit too bright for me. The older "dreamier" images are so much more serene)

They did everything they could do to help people. Anakin is responsible for his of his own actions and choices. That includes his choice to Fall and aid Palpatine instead of stop him, his choice to lead the mind controlled Clones into the Temple, his choice to lead the genocide of the Jedi, his choice to be literally the worst person in the galaxy, murder more people, and help lead and enforce the fascist Empire. Those were his choices, his actions. Not the Jedi's. Don't like it? Too bad, that's was the movies and shows literally show.

omggg i am so glad that you have enjoyed my fic recs!! and if you've been keeping up with those, then i'm sure you definitely know by now just how in love i am with someonetoanyone's entire portfolio of Destiel works, but imma recommend them again anyway. i know i sound like a broken record at this point, but i will never stop singing their praises bc they deserve it. they are truly my favorite Destiel fic writer ever, and i am completely serious when i say i've been ruined for almost all other Destiel fanfics now lmao. nothing hits for me anymore quite like their fics do 😭 i believe all of their completed fix-its feature seraph Castiel— my personal favorites are Being Led Home (need an acc to read) and Perihelion.

tbh yeah i agree with you. i haven't found too many fix-its that contain Cas keeping his grace. i'm sure they're out there, but idk where they are lol. if anyone who sees this post wants to drop some links in the comments, pls do so!

it seems as though the fandom generally favors human!Cas for post-finale fics, which is fine! i get it. but i'm like you; i prefer Castiel in all his angelic glory. unfortunately, i don't have any others favorited that i can recommend for you at the moment 💔

however!... 👀 there is a fic currently in the works as a present specifically for me by a certain someone (you can probably guess who lmao 🤭), for which i am positively ecstatic. it's a finale fix-it and it will contain eldritch horror Castiel, with all his beautifully cosmic otherworldliness. i don't want to give too much more away about it, but i'll just say- it's going to fucking Slap. there isn't a current timeframe for when it will be posted, but just keep an eye out and trust that when it does go live, i will be yodeling about it on here the nanosecond that i finish reading it

Just needed to rant

I am a whump writer. I have been writing whump for over 20 years. I'm so passionate about it that I actually became an emt for a couple years until a career ending injury left me living my own whump story for 5 years. That all being said when my 11 month old son hurt himself yesterday (split his chin open on our fake fireplace), all that medical knowledge? Gone. Error 404. Literally grabbed him and just blue screened for a solid minute. Managed to control myself enough (he was thoroughly unconcerned, mind you) to slap some gauze on it and get him to the local pediatric urgent care, where he then needed 4 stitches (far more concerned).

Y'all, I went through 4 ankle surgeries without working pain meds (because no one believes me when I say oxi doesn't work on me - neither does lidocaine, which is fun), gave birth totally unmedicated, and homesteaded for over 5 years (ie: processed my own animals for meat). When I tell you that watching him go through that was *the worst* experience of my life... I damn near fainted. Twice. Hell, I was still shaking for over an hour after we got home (by which time, he was totally back to his happy, giggly self and running all over with that cute little zombie shuffle walk they do). In short: nothing can prepare you for seeing your kids hurt, and I kinda just needed to word-vomit that.

Also, I had a random thought about Fox that I'm going to write a little aside of later, and I'm sorry in advance because it's sad-dark. But first, it's shopping day. I'm going to try to sneak on here tonight to actually respond to y'all, too. Love you all!
