It was perhaps wistful thinking, but you’d been hoping that maybe the Gods would look your way and give your husband the strength needed to remain alive with his job. You were ready to take whatever initiative it would require to keep him well and happy.

You looked back down at Sanemi, who looked like he’d run all the way to where you were perched on the ladder. Behind him, kakushis quivered and for once it was out of concern. You wrinkled your nose at them; you’d told them not to tell Sanemi what you were doing.

“That’s it. Get your pretty ass down before you fall and break your skull.”

You pouted. “I’m not gonna. It’s okay- look, i just need to..” you felt yourself being rocked. You cast your eyes down and shook the ladder slightly, to check its stability.

“[Name]-!” Sanemi ran forward and gripped the foot of the ladder. When he looked up, there was a veil over his eyes. “Fucking get down.”

Will has just lost most of his siblings, and he’s now in charge of not only his canon, but also the infirmary. That’s a HUGE responsibility for a 13 year old, ESPECIALLY a grieving one. My guys going through it, and this song perfectly captures it imo.

He misses his siblings more than life itself. To me, this lyric symbolizes the realization that you’ll never see the person, or feel them hug you ever again.

This might be a bit of a stretch, but HC that a lot of campers resent Micheal and Clarrise for their petty argument surrounding the Chariot and since most people are to scared of Clarrise to say anything to her face, they take it out on Michael’s memory instead, causing him to be a pariah of sorts. So this is Will knowing that he can’t say he misses Micheal, because he doesn’t want people to get mad at him for ‘defending someone who caused a bunch of deaths’. Every sunrise is like a stab in the gut, because (HC) the Apollo kids used to watch them all the time. He can’t do that anymore. He’s too busy in the infirmary, and he has to push his grief down to keep moving.

So to me, the chorus is Will trying to find solace (ha) in his mom, but she’s in the middle of touring, so she doesn’t have time for him. The ‘where the hell am I supposed to go?’ part is him realizing there’s no safe space for him to grieve and feel the way he needs to. So he pushes it all down and keeps moving forward. He overworks himself in the infirmary because he feels like he has no use elsewhere. On those short moments where he stops moving for long enough to remember, it almost destroys him because he’s kept it down for so long.

My hc is that Miguel dethroned his father. I don't think Tyler Stone would willingly give Alchemax to Miguel, and wouldn't put him on his will either.

But all that equipment we see in the movie is expensive, even for 2099 where they have an orbital lift and flying cars. The size of the building alone must be a fortune, after all, it is New York.

So, Miguel probably dethroned his father and got Alchemax, and that's where his money came from. SS building might been listened as a subsidiary of Alchemax with a bunch of classified projects no one (private sector or otherwise) dares to bat an eye.

Now the fun parts!

We have not only humans on the societies but also all kinds of sentients species. A T-Rex, a pork, cats, and even Lego! Do you think he recruited one by one? Oh, so many types of bathrooms...

Miguel had to design a DTD (that's what I call their "watches", Dimension Travel Device) for each of them, to deal with their specific molecular vibarations. Or maybe he lets Layla do it while he deals with other things? I can't take the image of my head of Lego Peter waiting for his DTD, watching a 3d printer work on it like the hand of the creator, and he's star-struck.

Having to make a full battery of exams when the physiology is different, to make sure the DTD works like it should but also that they are capable of taking the strain of travelling across the multiverse.

There's probably an infirmary somewhere that most resembles a hospital. Fully equipped. Employing nurses and physiotherapist and every type of doctor in every type of speciality.

A rotatory shift with Spider Doctors from different realities, and Layla tries not too overwork them but still all of them with a headache for having to deal with not only a bunch of injured self-sacrificing heroes but!! Different anatomies!!

Spider Scientist (and medical doctors too) that are so glad and excited to finally have resources to use, but still need to go through Miguel and get their researches approved (it's hard for him to say a no tbh, he's a scientist too after all)

Mechanic workshops. All kinds of different technologies interacting more and more. The SS equipment improving with each passing day because of Spiders from universes that are further in the timeline sharing their advanced tech.

It's so many departments to have. Logistics and TI and Security. Do you think it has a daycare? Teams that deal with holes in the multiverse (like that one in Mumbattam), the Strike Force itself, which probably is divided in squadrons with its leaders. And– so many people

Soooo much food. Spiders are constantly refueling. It's insane. And SS probably caters to all kind of tastes, nutrition necessities and allergies too. Spider Chef working overtime.

Probably has some temporary dorms. It has therapy offices!

Do you think Miguel would pay the workforce? He looks like he would want to pay, even those that are working part-time.

Probably gives them something valuable instead of actual currency, something they can exchange for currency and may be universal but not hard to find, like diamonds.

And Layla? She's a Supercomputer not only running SS but probably managing Alchemax too, not to say being Miguel's personal assistant and still giving support to any Spider that summons her (like Jess in that scene with Gwen)

Underground the building there are levels and levels, floor to celling with servers and servers and processors for her.

I don't think it would be all – in the tech sense – free 24/7 access, though. There's a limit there to prevent Heroes from spending too much time there, or from getting gadgets that they could bring to their home and accidentally (by butterfly effect or even directly) prevent a Canon event.

Even the infirmary probably only deals with heroes that got injured on missions, too. Again, to prevent a Canon event from not happening. It probably doesn't treat the common cold.

Oh, gosh- can you imagine if there's an epidemic of a powerful cold that knocks out them? Can you imagine the headache of coming up with a vaccine????

Gepard thoughts/Hcs (feat. Me attempting to explain my crack ship to people)

- His in game stories imply he did privately question the orders he was getting, he just doesn’t think he is “allowed” to think that way, he has to be the perfect shield because that’s his responsibility.

- He’s a lot smarter than most people think, it’s just his older sister has a literal phd and he just sorta got used to being the “dumb muscle” of the family, and he also thinks being a shield is really all he’s good for.

- Workaholic who constantly puts his duty over his own well being. He rarely takes the time to do things because he wants to.

- Is actually a pretty good bass player. Serval talked him into learning when they were younger, and she would love for him to be in her band. He refuses because he’s too busy (and he freezes up when he knows people are watching him play)

- So my thought process for the ship is I made a joke about Gepard being Yanqing’s dad bc Yanqing needs to be protected if you want him to do good damage, Gepard is probably the best character to do this with, and they’re both blondes with ice powers. My next thought was Gepard is married to Jing Yuan because he is also Yanqing’s dad. Then I sorta fell in love with this family dynamic??

- They both are associated with wildcats, are both very accomplished in their fields, are both very protective of their homes and the people they care about, and both have a self sacrificial streak.

- Jing Yuan is very much a “work smarter not harder” type of leader who knows how important relaxing is, yet is absolutely a capable fighter who is pragmatic enough to do what’s best for the people and takes his job very seriously when it’s needed.

- Jing Yuan also has definitely gotten his lion to just sit on Gepard so he takes a break from work.

- Very comfortable and domestic relationship, these two aren’t the type to be super affectionate in public. People might not even realize they’re a couple unless they’re told ahead of time. (It’s because they’re both secretly very sappy people and would be too embarrassed to do that stuff in public)

- Both of their love languages are quality time and acts of service. They spend a lot of time just quietly existing in the same space as each other. They keep an eye on each other and make sure they’re both adequately rested and aren’t overworking themselves.

- They’re both a little overprotective of Yanqing, like they aren’t helicopter parents but they both do not want him getting hurt and think he is a bit too reckless at times. Gepard 10000% is always shielding his son if they’re in battle together.

- They’re both very tactile people when alone. Lots of leaning on one another, napping together (when Gepard lets himself take naps), they’re both the sort of partner to hug their spouse from behind and put their chin on their shoulder. They also both do the cat slow blink of affection without realizing it because I think it’s funny.

3. Most common argument?

I think they don’t argue about a lot of serious things, and their arguments aren’t the worst thing in the world — most are about Bokuto leaving the toilet seat up, which Akaashi grumbles about (though this is just me projecting my relationship with my roommate and his toilet habits LOL) and Bokuto grumbling about Akaashi critising his sometimes chaotic habits. But those are small arguments that they resolve almost immediately because it’s nothing profound. Something more serious that they argue about is Akaashi’s blatant lack of selfcare by overworking himself almost constantly, and he denies it when Bokuto accuses him of it — that sometimes results in a fight until Akaashi gives in because he knows Bokuto is right. It still keeps happening though, even when Akaashi swears he’ll be better. But Bokuto knows that some (bad) habits are hard to break, and he’s more than happy to help Akaashi.

4. Favourite non-sexual activity?

Bokuto likes it when Akaashi reads to him, so when they can’t agree on what movie/show to watch, they settle on a book. They both love stories, but Bokuto isn’t the type to sit still for hours with his eyes locked on a page. But he could listen to Akaashi’s voice for hours on end, so they just sit there leaning against each other, the domestic vibes are immaculate, as Akaashi reads to him. They also like to do random dates throughout the week with no specific context attached, but just because they want to have a good time with each other. So they prepare a jar with pieces of paper with date ideas written on it, and when they have time, they pick an activity to do. It’s their favourite thing in the world. And it’s mundane things like baking something or trying out a new hobby together, it’s nothing special, but it’s special to them.

25. Who needs more assurance?

I think they can both be fairly insecure, but I think it’d be Akaashi, especially post-time skip. rose Sakura wrote a great one-shot about this that might cause some bias for me, but I think from time to time, Akaashi might realise that he’s dating/married to a very popular volleyball star, whereas he is ‘only’ an editor at a job that wasn’t even his dream to begin with. Bokuto fundamentally disagrees with Akaashi’s insecurities and always manages to make him feel better about himself, and when they’re married, it gets much better, but it still sometimes comes up a little bit from time to time, but they learn how to deal with it effectively and in the healthiest way possible because it’s Bokuaka and I cannot allow them to be unhappy in my brain

7. What's the first thing that changes when they realize they have feelings for the other?

When they wouldn’t have been honest before, they are now. Something they agree on is to always communicate and always be honest, so when, before getting together, they would have been closed off and kept their true emotions to themselves, they open up. At first, they do because the other asks. Eventually, they open up without being prompted to do so, and their trust in each other only grows with it.

9. Who worries the most?

I want to say both, especially at the start of their relationship. I hc Atsumu to have a bunch of abandonment issues that got much worse when Osamu quit, giving him the feeling that everyone will leave him eventually, even the people closest to him. So I think he’d be worried that Kiyoomi would, too, eventually, and Atsumu isn’t sure he’d ever be able to properly recover from yet another person leaving him. I also think that Kiyoomi is fully aware of how awful his personality is and that he is a difficult person, which leads him to believe that he is hard to love, so he shuts off before anyone can get close enough to hurt him. But he lets Atsumu in, and he’s not scared of getting hurt, he’s just worried that Atsumu might realise that he is not the best person — obviously that doesn’t happen because Atsumu is an asshole™️ . But maybe that is just me projecting here because that’s what I would want to write for them in my fic (not sure if it’ll happen like this, but I want it to).

17. Who says ‘I love you’ first?

Atsumu. But I don’t think he says it in a romantic context, but he’s just a person who says it a lot and expresses his love overtly (whether it is platonic or romantic). So he tells Kiyoomi he loves but without romantic undertones (at least not explicit romantic subtext attached to the context), but then eventually Kiyoomi would say it first in a romantic context. I think it would more or less slip out in a moment where he lets his guard down and just says it to the surprise of both of them, and then Atsumu would say it right back after blinking at him in surprise at first, trying to process what he’d heard.

one of the best people to go to for advice and logic. which, you know, may not be your goal at first when you want to just vent. but whenever you're ready to tackle the problem on he's there

he's aware that he's more honest/blunt than other people. i do think he'd be with somebody who can handle or appreciate that, but if he ever oversteps he apologizes and tries to word his thoughts better

Zoeymau

A ship that’s canon in my rewrite because… women.

Zoey is one of the only people that can do anything with Aphmau’s hair. Which is a combo of Aphmau not letting anyone near her hair and also no one knowing what to do with it. since her hair is one of the curliest out of the main cast (third, after Aaron and Lucinda).

When Aphmau overworks herself, Zoey basically carries her home. Because tall elf lady won’t let her teeny Saint gf get too tired.

Zoey sometimes puts little barrier magicks on her to keep her safe on her travels.

Aphmau writes little poems and stories and leaves them in Zoey’s room. Usually they’re romantic and include a very detailed description of a woman being inlove with an insanely tall Ed lady.

Levin calls them ‘tall mama’ and ‘small mama’ growing up. Which they also jokingly refer to eachother as.

Their relationship takes a hit after the 15 years but eventually, as Aphmau comes to terms with what happened, they start building it back up.

Zoey is pretty chill with Aphmau seeing other people alongside her. Elven society isn’t heavy on monogamy, and also Aphmau’s too stupid to understand what monogamy is and Zoey knows that. So. Y’know. She’s fine with Aphmau having her romances with the boys.

Aphmau makes little bracelets out of grass and daisys for Zoey because she can have little phases of not being great with her words. So they’re her way of saying she loves her.

Im still working out their MyS version since there’s no canon MyS interactions between them… so. I might have to make a separate post for that.

Travlyn

Also canon.

MCD: Katelyn gets freaked out by him sometimes. Especially his demon form. Because he just does things that are gross and creepy.

MCD: Katelyn sometimes kills small creatures for him so that he doesn’t have to kill them himself.

MCD: She’s the one that monitors what he eats, but she sometimes sneaks him snacks that the others wouldn’t approve of. She’s the only one allowed to give him snacks, though.

MCD/MyS: Travis loves cuddling up with her. He adores it. It’s his favourite thing to do. Especially when she lets him lay between her legs, because he usually has to lay beside her. So laying between her legs is a little treat.

MCD/MyS: he also likes having his head between her legs. Just a personal thing.

MCD/MyS: She’s the only person he’s ever truly been inlove with.

MCD/MyS: He let her tattoo him once. It didn’t go well, because she had no experience. But he loves the little squiggle on his arm despite the very painful experience of getting it.

MCD: Katelyn loves his horns. She likes grabbing them especially. Because they feel cool.

MCD: She helped him learn how to shapeshift. He can’t do much, even with her help, but he can do more than he could before her assistance.

MCD: Travis never really spoke about his childhood and stuff. So when Katelyn found his mother’s diary in his bag, and all the entries he made in it as a kid, pretending to be her, she started being really soft on him. It just made her realise that he had been through so much.

MCD/MyS: Travis has a hard time opening up about his problems. And so does Katelyn. But Katelyn insists he tells her what’s wrong because she know it’ll make him feel better.

MyS: Katelyn used to have a crush on Travis Pre-Transition, and she had no clue he was the same person when she saw him again after he transitioned. And so her crush on him like left. And he only learnt that in FCU. And she still didn’t know it was him at that point. So he was like crying inside.

MCD/MyS: When Travis has long hair, Katelyn likes to play with it.

MCD/MyS: He has called her mommy before.

Garrance

Also canon. In MyS at least. Because it’s part of the Quad (Aaron, Aphmau, Laurence and Garroth)

MCD: Garroth always tries to duel with Laurence to ‘get better’. But honestly there’s just something he enjoys about Laurence winning against him. Hopefully he’s just messed up and it’s not a weird sex thing.

MCD: During the time where Garroth was in the Irene dimension and the others weren’t, Laurence (someone who isn’t at all religious) would pray for him back every night before he slept.

MyS: Laurence is Garroth’s queer awakening. Because hot ginger Emo dudes are so his type.

MCD: Laurence is Garroth’s queer awakening. Because hot ginger flirty dudes are so his type.

MCD/MyS: Garroth asked out Cadenza once because he was into Laurence but couldn’t accept that he was queer, and, well, despite not being related, they look pretty similar.

MCD: Laurence was sort of happy Aaron was dead. Partially because he hated Aaron. Mostly because he got his boyfriend back.

MyS: Zianna jokingly referred to Laurence as Garroth’s boyfriend for ages before she eventually realised that Garroth was into him. And then she called Laurence his husband. To be extra teasing.

MCD: Laurence would listen to Garroth’s heartbeat a lot. He did this with Aphmau too. It just made him feel better, I guess.

MyS: Laurence does like listening to Garroth and Aphmau’s heartbeats. But mostly because he just likes having his head on their chests. Because everyone in the polycule has fat boobs. And Laurence likes boobs.

MyS: Occasionally Laurence will dye his hair back to ginger. Since he knows Garroth likes it. He has been considering buying a wig but he’s sort of evaluated that it probably wouldn’t last very long. Because. Like… Garroth really likes ginger hair. Fukkin weirdo

MyS: Laurence’s family adores Garroth. Like they absolutely love him. Garroth’s family isn’t all the same with Laurence. But his mother is. So that’s enough

MCD: Garroth really respects Laurence. Like, deeply. He could never imagine doing anything disrespectful to him. Much to Laurence’s own upset. Since, well, Laurence is very much interested in Garroth’s doing disrespectful things to him.

MyS: the previous HC doesn’t apply. Garroth very much enjoys doing disrespectful things to Laurence. Especially when he’s ginger.

there wouldn’t be so many sex references in this if they weren’t complete manwhores in my rewrite. Like, Laurence we knew of already. But Garroth got sluttified majorly.

And we love him for it.

We really went from, ‘aw sweet’ to ‘aw sweet- he wants to what?’ To just ‘ he wants to what?’ And we love that transition.

it's not that she doesn't love you, she does. truly. she only hides her love for you for two main reasons; one, she doesn't want anyone to recognize that you're her weakness, and she doesn't want you to get hurt because of it. she also has a bit of a reputation to keep up, so she can't manage to dilly around and act all lovey-dovey with you in public.

she also enjoys watching the moon and stars with you at night, for the sight of you glowing in the moonlight is breathtaking to her, and gives her butterflies in her stomach <333

Soft Hoodie/Brian Thomas Headcanons

Absolutely, I adore Hoodie and I adore you! Thank you for the concern too, think I might power down later today lmfao.

Brian is such a sunshiny guy. Like I have no other way of saying it, he's just absolute sunshine in human form.

I feel I should also note that as I write more of Brian/Hoodie (in general, not just here), I tend to differentiate them as different people.

His smile is so warm and inviting, and I swear he could melt all your fears away just by looking at you.

He's surprisingly gentle when it comes to other people, especially his team. Toby, Masky and Kate are all subjected to his care and he shows it often.

Sometimes, Brian brings out his guitar and just strums and sings quietly on the front porch when the sun is coming up or going down. Lots of quiet cowboy vibes ngl.

He's weirdly knowledgeable about insects? Like, moths and stuff - so he'll share moth facts with you.

And frog facts. Definitely frog facts.

Brian LOVES the summer and wants to spend every waking moment in the summer sun. He just loves the warmth and the feeling of heat on his skin.

He's the kind of guy to go out into a field, put his hands on his hips and just smile. Maybe say "doesn't get better than this" while looking at a beautiful view. Maybe that view is you.

He loves fireflies too! He will go outside when they're out, hold a whole bunch of them and just spend a while catching and releasing them! Also takes a flashlight and shines it back just to talk to them.

He's still into photography. Takes pictures of anything and everything, and if he likes you, he will send you pictures of things he thinks you'd like.

If you ever wanted to just get up in the middle of the night and go somewhere, Brian is 100% your man to do it. 24 hour IHOPs, Denny's, weird hole in the wall shops, Walmart parking lots, he's just good for exploring the world when it feels like a liminal space.

Brian will build you up like no one else can. Makes you feel like you're on top of the world.

He's honestly kind of a silly friend. Physically and verbally affectionate as well. Will give you hugs and kiss the side of your head.

Brian actually took up cooking! He's pretty good at it now and is constantly expanding his cooking abilities.

Brian lowkey likes journaling. Is his writing always that neat?? No, but it does have little doodles and messy cursive about cool things he saw and things he felt throughout the day.

He will refer to some animals solely by nicknames - like "trash pandas" for raccoons.

Has one of the sweetest voices with a slight Southern accent. Just mellow and sweet.

He likes going on runs early in the mornings. Just listening to the birds singing and letting the world wake up alongside him is really sweet.

I’m glad there seems to be a rather large audience for platonic writing because it’s honestly one of my favorites. Strong relationships are very important, yes, but strong friendships are just as needed. I’ve never looked into Dream of a Black Swan much, and I think it’s really nice that some of these requests are letting me look more into characters I initially didn’t even think much about. Also these two are slightly shorter just because I’m writing for two, hopefully you still enjoy it.

Elijah (Dream of a Black Swan) and Knight of Despair Receiving a Hug Headcanons:

Elijah:

It’s exhausting for Elijah to care for her brothers every moment she can, and to save them from danger. She loves them from the bottom of her heart, and truly would do anything for them, but it’s quite obvious it wears her down over time.

Even after being altered by the gray fog that swept over the city she still values one thing over anything: her family, and the people she cares about. She’s already sacrificed everything for them once, and she doesn’t show any real sign of stopping.

She vastly overworks herself, and puts the needs of others above her at all times. She doesn’t know when to stop because she believes pushing herself endlessly will yield the result she wants.

Of course it’s important to be determined and not give up, which she’s very admirable for, but it will get you nowhere if you have to sacrifice your own wellbeing in the process. How can you expect yourself to help someone when you can’t help yourself first?

You’re very aware of this. You’ve read through the documents, you’ve interacted with Elijah herself, and though she has the potential to be dangerous just as any abnormality does, you can’t help but empathize with her.

Be careful not to let management or other employees that you don’t know well hear of this though, they might not respond as positively and start to lecture you on the risks of showing any form of pity or similar on the abnormalities.

You’ve heard it a thousand times, and while what you’re doing may not be the smartest it has the potential to save the lives of agents and clerks alike. It’s not like you can’t defend or hold out on your own either, you’re given training and E.G.O gear for a reason.

You’re often frequently assigned to the Dream of a Black Swan’s containment room, both becoming familiar with the brothers of hers as well as Elijah herself. You seem to be positively received, after all the breaches have dropped substantially ever since you started working there.

The reasoning for the rampages she goes on is out of concern for her brothers, and it results in the casualties of others until she’s suppressed and contained once more. She’s worked up because they’re potentially distressed or in danger.

So what if you could help out? It’s simple, not too different from work you already do, but you watch and examine just how she cares for them. Maybe even ask her yourself how you can help and try to get some form of response out of that.

This might range from bringing in specific types of food that keep the brothers happy, stuff from their favorite restaurants outside of the facility that they themselves can’t get. If there’s books or forms of entertainment you can try asking the Sephirah of your department if you’re allowed to take the objects into the containment room.

The answer may vary, but with some convincing and presented evidence that your actions are making a positive effect, you may be given permission.

Even if they’re abnormalities they’re still children, and I think you’ll come to find even though initially they were a bit rigid and off putting in their movement, they enjoy certain items just as children do.

This shifts a great weight from Elijah’s shoulders, and even though she’s ready at any moment if they need something, you can visibly tell she’s more calm now.

The qliphoth counter is now less likely to decrease, and your work manages to produce more than was initially believed to be possible. A definite success, you’ve been moved to manage Dream of a Black Swan as your primary abnormality.

I think that she’s the one to actually hug you, and you’re not expecting it. She recognizes that you do not wish to harm her brothers, but rather help them just as she does. For this, you are appreciated because you go out of the way to improve living conditions for them all.

So to show that she is grateful, she hugs you. At first you have no clue what she’s doing, and are slightly concerned, but quickly realize it’s nothing to worry about. She’s firm, but not tight. It really does feel like the hug of a loving sister.

It’s very pleasant actually! Her feathers are soft but smooth, just as you’d expect from a swan, and warm to the touch. If it was comfortable, she might decide to crane her neck down and rest it on your shoulder.

She holds on for quite a while too. I don’t think she’d be a brief hugger, but rather a sincere, long hug that lets you know she cares. It’s very motherly by nature, and it gives a sense of protection.

If you haven’t already for some reason, this would be a perfect time for her to give you the E.G.O gift Black Swan.

At this point Elijah definitely starts treating you like you’re one of her siblings too. She worries for your well being just as much as she does for her brothers, and you can bet you basically get an abnormality bodyguard out of this.

Luckily for you, there’s extra priority on keeping you safe because chances are she’ll breach if you’re hurt too bad, not so lucky for management though.

One last detail! I feel like a method of hugging she definitely enjoys is when you sort of sit atop her back and wrap your arms around her neck. It’s sweet to her, and cool for you because if she stands up you get to be tall off the ground.

Knight of Despair:

Much like Elijah, the Knight of Despair or just for short KoD has a strong drive and urge to protect people. However rather than just the ones she loves, it also includes strangers and those in general who need her assistance.

However as we all know the story unfortunately can’t be so happy. She was a hero in the past with a strong desire to protect people until the very end, and when it did come to the end, she was forgotten. Her deeds were left ignored and tossed to the side.

This leads to a lot of inner turmoil. She really does only want the best for people, but it’s hard when you’ve suffered a long history and cycle of betrayal. As sweet as she is, there still is that pent up frustration inside both for her inadequacy and those who turned their backs against her.

For that reason I think while she is in general a caring person, it takes a while to gain her trust. She fears being forgotten and tossed aside, but she’s also worried that trying to keep you safe will only result in failure.

She’s filled with sorrow and I hope you’re ready to face it or are good at comforting people to an extent. She doesn’t need someone to dissect what’s happened, or attempt to sort through her feelings, she just needs someone to be there.

I think that if you can consistently reassure her that you’re going to be fine, and that no harm has or will come to you then she’ll begin warming up and grow more comfortable with you.

I believe a part of this process also has to do with holding casual conversation. She may not be the most talkative herself when beginning to warm up to you, but she’ll listen intently to any stories you have.

Whether you’re describing what you read earlier, or what happened at work before you arrived at her containment room, or any plans you have for when you get home she’s going to keep track of it.

You might not even be able to tell if she is paying attention with how still she remains all the time, constantly sitting with closed eyes and her hands brought up to her chest. That being said, you don’t give up on her or stop describing your days. She doesn’t seem irritated by them, and you’ve actually noticed that on certain occasions she’ll stop crying.

It’s confirmed that KoD is taking note of what you say when she begins speaking a bit more to you. She’ll ask if you had your favorite lunch today, and you’re both surprised that she knows what it is and incredibly happy that she’s becoming more talkative.

You know she likely won’t ever hold an extensive conversation, but some people just don’t talk much and that’s perfectly okay with you! Even if she wasn’t able to talk at all you wouldn’t mind, but it’s nice to know she’s thinking of you and what you’ve told her.

Also her voice is really beautiful too. It’s very smooth,as well as on the deeper side. It’s comforting and carries, but is clearly spoken gently. It’s melodic and exactly what you’d expect from a magical girl.

If you ever ask her for a hug, or hug her out of comfort then she will absolutely comply. She’s cold to the touch, but her skin is soft and her dress is silky smooth. It feels like laying in a lavish bed.

She has more of a loose hold, almost as though it’s hovering, but it still feels secure. It’s not as if her arms feel ready to drop at any moment, but more so that she’s being gentle so as to not bring injury.

If you’re having a rough day she’s perfect to come to. Her embrace isn’t so crushing that it’s overwhelming, but you still feel her calm presence. I think that if you asked her she’d also be willing to softly run her hand through your hair or just rub into your back.

She definitely looks forward to seeing you everyday. KoD deems you one of her favorite employees, and even though history may forget her, she would never forget you.

She remembers vividly the day you told her that even though her kingdom may not remember her deeds, but you and all the other employees who come visit will remember the protection and hospitality she’s offered. You couldn’t tell if she was already crying or it moved her to tears, but I’m saying between you and me, it was the latter.

Who knows, maybe one day she’ll be able to reminisce on the past and tell you stories of all that happened out of fondness, rather than despair.
