Exactly. I can't believe I have to even clarify this, but Luffy blushed just by seeing Zoro. SEEING. On top of that, they were separated for almost just a week, and Zoro got the face hug treatment already. Need I say more??? No compliments about his strength whatsoever, just Zoro in his full glory.

It's beautiful how Bobby woke up, and then the show continued with scenes dedicated to families. First, Chimney and Maddie with Hen and Karen talking about Mara's current whereabouts and how she's doing. Followed up by Buck and Tommy, with Buck admitting that Bobby is more like a father figure to him than his actual father, and Tommy, who opens up about his estranged father and his complicated relationship to his former captain Gerrard. Then we have the Diaz family and Eddie's once biggest nightmare: losing Chris to his own parents. Except his parents aren't the villains because he messed up, and Chris made that decision for himself. Finally, back to the hospital with Bobby, Athena, May and Harry, who may have lost many valuable belongings but to whom everything most important is still in the room.

I know that Vito's line "Look how they massacred my boy!" rightly gets a lot of attention but I have to mention that in the background, Tom Hagen, is so completely devastated by Sonny's death that he can't even bear to look at his bullet riddled body. He refuses to even take a glance at what they've done to his brother, his hero and his rescuer.

They did not just stand up for Mr. Keating they stood up for Neil Perry and his dreams too. 10/10 this movie. I want to watch it over and over again until I can memorize the words by heart. It was beautiful. The boys were seizing and living life, capturing it with both hands. My heart bleeds for the loss they had and I bleed for Neil Perry, he was so brave to seize his dreams but it is sad that he was not able to make it big, was not able to stretch and expand it. It was when he said nothing and then I was good that I knew what he was gonna do and while it is easy to say to look at things differently when you are in the position it is hard when all you can see is prison bars. Defying his father may lead him to that military school, if he leaves to pursue his dream how will he do it with no money? It is scary to venture in a world where there is no safety net and it is sad that the option he saw was to leave in the world where he will be remembered where he seized his dreams, suspended in the time where he smiled and was on stage. His friends standing up on those tables made his death meaningful in the way that we should not be clipping the wings of the young aaaahhh I wanna say more but I can't see past my tears as I am typing this and my words are stuck in my throat.

One thing that bugs me about fanon Lxc is when wangxian fans make it seem like he’s totally trying to set his brother up with Wwx bc he’s just sooooo supportive. They act as if this is canon when no that’s not how canon went at all.

When they were teenagers Lxc was worried that Lwj was lonely and so when Wwx showed up and Lwj started to react he saw it as a good opportunity to get Lwj to make friends, bc a) Wwx also seemed interested in being friends and b) Wwx was popular and had a lot of friends so maybe he’d meet more people by proxy. He wasn’t trying to set up his 15-16 yr old brother, he was just trying to get him to broaden his horizons bc Cloud Recesses is very isolated. I think it’s very possible he recognized Lwj’s behavior as a crush but he was not playing wingman.

And none of that even matters bc by the time the war ends and Wwx is fully a demonic cultivator he no longer likes him. He never stops Lwj bc he doesn’t see it as his place but he also has stated that he doesn’t approve of necromancy. He also interpreted Wwx’s denseness towards his brother’s feelings to be purposeful ignorance and manipulation which is fair bc for someone so smart Wwx is very stupid.

I think people forget that the world actually does have some reason to not like Wwx and that necromancy is actually unethical. Not to mention that we the audience have foresight on some of Wwx’s actions that most of the characters don’t.

Lxc was literally thrilled when Lwj dragged Mo home bc he thought his brother had moved on. He legit didn’t care who this random stranger was he was glad he wasn’t connected to Wwx.

And then there was the drama when the scene between Lxc and Wwx came out in the comic—the one where Lxc snaps at Wwx about not knowing Lwj’s feelings— and people on twitter were acting like this scene didn’t already happen in the book. I shouldn’t have been surprised people were mad at Lxc but it was still jarring bc usually people are neutral to positive about him. Lxc is soooo cute until he has human reactions to stressful situations that contradict your perception of him and get in the way of your ship. Cut the man some slack that was the first hour of what was going to be the worst 24 hrs of his life. A man he doesn’t like just came to him, told him his closest friend is up to some pretty awful shit and then acted like he didn’t know his brother was in love with him. And it’s funny because Lxc’s last straw wasn’t Wwx telling him Jgy was suspicious it was (what Lxc interpreted as) Wwx playing dumb.

tldr: lxc is not wangxian’s #1 fan

you chuckle. “yeah. i love his acting in ‘guardian’ and ‘coffee prince.’ do you have any favorite actors or actresses?” as eunwoo said, jungkook is a man of few words, so relying on him to steer the conversation might get you nowhere, but you can’t say you didn’t try. you can’t lie, jungkook is pretty awkward, and it makes you nervous since you’re not used to someone who isn’t as boisterous as you are. as you watch the movie, you look at eunwoo and alina, they’re sitting so close and whisper something to each other every few seconds; a contrast to you and jungkook.

having enough of jungkook’s shyness and your overthinking, you decide to break the ice and speak up “tell me something about yourself, jungkook. besides being shy and a total cutie, i don’t know much about you” you say while looking at him, his cheeks heating up when you call him handsome. you learn he’s from busan and is majoring in business and management with hopes that one day he’ll become CEO of his father’s company. you notice he keeps his background basic and vague, something you like. he leaves some mystery about himself, and when he asks you the same question, you smirk. “you’re from busan too? of course, you’re from the same city gong yoo’s fine-self is from, but now that i think about it, it makes sense. there’s something about boys from busan” you sigh and whisper in jungkook’s ear “maybe you should take me there sometime. just you and me”

you pull away and give jungkook an innocent look like you didn’t lean in and hint at a potential date in the most sultry way possible. “i bet you’re just dying to know about me, huh? well, i’m just a girl born into a middle-class family from daegu. i’ve got a sister, a ‘loving’ mother, and my major is accounting. i know, pretty exciting, right?” you gently nudge jungkook’s shoulder. “you can say anything to me, you know that, right? tell me what’s going in that cute head of yours~”

His cheeks heat up, uoure too close.

“I-I… sure, I will! Whenever you want, I love Busan. It’s my heart.” He laughs, taking a deep breath to calm his thumping heart.

You’re so intense, but in a good way.

Jungkook shifts in his seat, his eyes flicking to you before he takes a deep breath. For some reason, talking to you feels different. Easier, maybe. He decides to give it a shot.

“So, I have a brother, Ian,” he starts, his voice steady but with a hint of something else in it. “He’s not… he’s not really the favorite.” He smiles softly, the words coming out almost teasing. “I am.”

His lips curl into a small, almost shy smile as he looks at you. “I mean, I’m the youngest, so I kind of get away with a lot.” Jungkook shrugs, trying to keep it casual, but there’s a quiet pride in his tone. “My mom spoils me, I guess. She always has.”

He laughs a little, shaking his head. “I guess I don’t mind it. She’s always been there for me, you know?”

He glances over at you, a little hesitant but finding comfort in your attention. “Ian, though… He’s always been more the serious type, a little distant, so… he doesn’t get the same treatment.”

Jungkook’s gaze shifts, and for a second, his expression grows softer, more vulnerable. “I don’t mind it, though. It’s just how things are. But I’ve always been close to my mom. She’s… well, she’s my rock.”

He leans back just slightly, waiting for your response, his eyes locked on you, more comfortable than before.

Jungkook shifts in his seat, his expression softening as he speaks again, his voice quieter now. “There’s also someone else,” he adds, not meeting your gaze at first. “A good friend of mine, actually. A girl. We’ve been close for a while, but it’s nothing serious, just a friendship.”

He glances at you, his expression almost unreadable for a moment before he continues, a slight smile tugging at the corners of his lips. “She’s always been there for me, kind of like… a sister. We’ve shared a lot, and she’s the type who doesn’t judge. But, I don’t talk about her much.”

Jungkook shrugs, looking away briefly as if unsure how much more to say. “I guess I’m just protective of her. So, don’t go asking about her too much, alright?” His tone is light, teasing even, but there’s an underlying sincerity in the way he speaks about her.

He looks back at you then, a soft smile creeping back onto his face. “But anyway, enough about her,” he adds quickly. “What about you? I want to know more about you.”

The movie ends, and the lights begin to flicker back on. The others stir from their seats, stretching and yawning as the credits roll. Jungkook stays still for a moment, his mind still caught in the space between the movie and the quiet tension hanging in the air around you. He glances at you, noticing how you’re still sitting in your seat, eyes on the screen, almost lost in thought.

“Good movie,” he mumbles, his voice soft but unsure. He looks around, his gaze lingering on Eunwoo and Alina as they start to get up, ready to leave.

You don’t immediately respond, still looking at the screen for a second before turning to face him. The movement pulls him from his thoughts, and for a moment, he worries that he might’ve sounded dumb, too quiet.

“You okay?” he asks, his voice barely audible, but laced with concern. He leans in slightly, his fingers nervously tapping his knee. He isn’t sure why, but he wants to make sure you’re okay, even though you haven’t said much the whole movie.

You glance at him, offering a small, almost unreadable smile. Jungkook’s heart skips, and he feels the slightest shift of warmth in his chest. It’s enough to make him forget about everything else in the theater for a second.

Alina and Eunwoo are chatting and laughing as they make their way to the exit, but Jungkook finds himself staring at you for a moment too long, unsure of how to keep the conversation going.

“You were quiet during the movie,” he says, trying to fill the silence. “Everything alright?”

You give him a nonchalant shrug, but it’s clear you’re not as into the movie as the others.

Is he really that boring?

His nerves are getting to him, and he shifts in his seat, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. He doesn’t really know how to make small talk—especially with you. His thoughts swirl, unsure of whether or not he’s saying the right thing, but he wants to keep the conversation going.

“Wanna grab a bite to eat?” he blurts, trying to make it sound natural. “I mean, the four of us. If you want,” he quickly adds, glancing at Alina and Eunwoo who are now chatting about some nearby restaurant as they wait by the door.

Alina hears his offer and grins, catching sight of you both.

“Oooh, dinner sounds good,” Alina chimes in, her voice playful as she looks over at Eunwoo. “What do you think, Eunwoo?”

Eunwoo stretches, his arm naturally wrapping around Alina’s shoulder as he smirks at her. “You know I’m always down for food. Just don’t make us wait too long to eat, or else I’ll starve to death,” he jokes, his tone lighthearted, but his eyes twinkle as they catch yours.

“You’re always hungry,” Alina teases him, giving his side a playful jab.

“You’re lucky I’m cute,” he shoots back, smirking at her.

Jungkook watches them, a subtle jealousy stirring in his chest. The way Eunwoo so effortlessly flirts with Alina, his confidence so natural..

it’s everything Jungkook wishes he could do with you. The way they seem to click without effort, laughing and teasing, makes him feel a pang of longing. He wants that with you. But he doesn’t know how to make it happen.

Jungkook clears his throat, looking down at his lap for a second before meeting your gaze again. “So, what do you say?” he asks, his voice a little quieter now, but still hopeful. “You good with dinner?”

You look at him for a beat, then flash him a grin, your eyes twinkling. you reply. Your tone is warm, but there’s a playful edge to it that makes Jungkook’s heart race a little faster.

Eunwoo laughs, nudging Alina as they start to head toward the exit. “Look at these two,” he says, throwing a wink at Jungkook. “Already making plans without us. Don’t forget to save some room for us, alright?”

Alina chuckles, nudging Eunwoo playfully. “Don’t worry, they’ll keep it interesting. Right?” she says, turning back toward you and Jungkook with a knowing look.

Jungkook swallows, trying to push back the growing nerves that threaten to make him too awkward. “Yeah,” he says, voice steady, though a little shy. “We’ll keep it interesting.”

As you both follow the others out of the theater, Jungkook feels that pull toward you again, stronger now. He might not know exactly how to flirt like Eunwoo does, but he’s starting to think that with you, maybe he doesn’t need to.

“LETS GET FOOD” eunwoo screams at the top of his lungs, alina and Jungkook cover their ears, while you laugh.
