I was sent the receipt for 15$ sent to Saory's Ko-Fi by a friend of mine that wishes to stay anonymous. If you'd like a shortform drabble by me, it's 5$ per long sentence. Send me the proof and I'll write you a little thing here on tumblr. (Here I'm defining "long sentence" as something that could stand alone as a short story, so little sentences like dialogue or clarifications don't count. As is standard with me, you may pay for x amount of sentences, and that will grant you those sentences *at least*, anything more is because I can't shut the hell up.)

The blade curves so beautifully against his skin, slides across his jaw with the gentle caress of a lover who could very easily become his killer. He can smell Wake's skin, this close; his sweat, his fear, the last remnants of the shampoo he's been neglecting as he wastes away in this little depressive jag of his. Scratch wipes the remainder of the unkempt beard hair on the towel he laid on Wake's shoulders, and smiles at him with the stolen face of his most beloved character. "Now, doesn't that just feel better?"

Been writing some really filthy, filthy stuff for fandoms outside of my obvious main one, and it's almost a shame the only one who will ever read them is the Editor.

I have finally, finally fucking finished these two stories. All three of my FTH stories will be released before Christmas, the very fucking SECOND the Editor and I finish polishing them.

Apparently, it's time for another kindly but ultimately rent-lowering reminder.

Neither the Editor nor I believe in art censorship. Much of our art, our fanfiction, is violent, dark, messy, non/dubcon queer erotica that would be considered "proshipping". Our very first post on AO3 involves a threesome with only one person who's consented, and that person murders one of the other two mid-coitus because it's funny to him. It's not like we've ever been subtle about it.

If you feel the need to follow us, that's your call. But if you're one of those with a "DNI" listing "problematic" art as one of your lines, you've already crossed it by following us. Perhaps consider what it means to come into OUR space and tell US not to interact with YOU. YOU are allowed to enjoy OUR art, but we aren't allowed to be considered humans worth your precious time for making it?

We will continue posting our mad queer horror erotica for as long as we're able, but consider, perhaps, who your DNI truly serves in this modern time of fascism and destruction. Consider, perhaps, where that wretched gaze will turn when the "degenerates" are gone.

Concerning bluesky, I think you should do what you're comfortable with. It could work just like your tumblr does tbh with reblogs and occasional updates. Also, if you wish to keep up with people you talk to and further engagement having one would be ideal since the traffic in the Remedy fandom has soared since twitter's screw up. There's an Alan Wake feed so if you wanted to share links to your fics it'd show in that feed if you tag the post with the appropriate tags (#alanwake #alanwake2 etc).

Like my tumblr- that's how I'd use it, pretty much. I just worry since it's more of a daily use sort of platform that I wouldn't be active enough to warrant being followed.

When I was last on Bluesky, it was difficult to find anyone interested in my fics, so it's nice to know there's more of a concentrated focus for the fandom there now.

I'm seriously considering it.

I used to have a Bluesky, and deleted it. It seems as though more people I interact with are using it now. Should I reinstate it? I don't talk about my life publically, so I won't be sharing much beyond what I do here, but I can see how it might be preferred to Tumblr for engagement. Thoughts?

I wrote Langston for the first time today, to which the Editor responded, "WOW, this Langston dialogue". So that's a good sign.

Since we're (probably) a few weeks out from the release of the Lake House DLC, a word of warning: when Alan Wake 2 hits it's one year anniversary, I'll no longer be tagging things with "aw2 spoilers" unless it's Lake House related. The queue will probably still have some spoiler-tagged things within it because this blog runs 99% on queue, but past a certain point I'll no longer be tagging base game/Night Springs DLC with spoiler tags.
