I posted some general killugon hcs here but there are always more soooo:

-Alluka and Nanika bond with Gon super quick. Killua finds it incredibly charming.

-Everyone else knows Gon and Killua are meant to be for AGES before they realize it. It makes Leorio want to scream sometimes, but Kurapika holds him back because "they have to get together on their own time. No one should rush them."

-Gon with dimples, need I say more?

Also I'm obsessed with my silly animal au rn so here's some hcs for that too (sorry):

-I think in this AU animal features are rare and part of the reason Killua and Gon bond. Killua and Alluka/Nanika are the only Zoldycks to inherit their dad's animal features and the Zoldycks take this as part of the reason Killua needs to be the next heir.

-Killua's pupils dilate and he slow blinks like a cat at Gon sometimes. Gon is oblivious to what this means (i trust you/love you in cat speak). Someone points it out one day and Killua is ridiculously embarrassed bcus he doesnt realize hes doing it.

-Gon wags his tail so hard his whole bottom half shakes sometimes. Ofc hes hit his tail on many things (and people) leading to numerous injuries both to himself and others. After he gets it docked (partly due to injuries inflicted on him and the aforementioned injuries he gives himself) he basically just wags his whole butt when hes excited. Killua thinks its super cute but would never admit it.

-If they're apart Gon likes to carry something that smells like Killua (a shirt or jacket) because he's got a blood hound sense of smell. He finds it immensely comforting. Before they get together Gon makes up excuses about why he's doing it, after they're official he admits the truth and Killua feels like an idiot for not noticing sooner.

-Gon gets called guard dog by strangers sometimes because of how he protects Mito, then Killua, and eventually Alluka and Nanika too. Killua jokingly calls him a "good boy". It's meant to be patronizing, but totally gives Gon butterflies. He tries to play it off, but flushing cheeks and fierce wagging give him away every time.

-Play bite each other when wrestling as kids on their limbs. When they reunite as adults who dont know how to handle emotions they end up wrestling again and Gon bites Killua on the neck. They both get too flustered to keep fighting and make up excuses to stop and pretend like theyre totally not in love with each other because it's Very Normal And Very Not At All Romantic to leave bite marks on your friend.

I got a headcannon I need to share:

Bisky and the girls (Alluka, Nanika, Mito, Palm, etc) helped Killua with a wedding dress for his wedding with Gon.

He got a shawl from Mito that was a bit yellowed from use and time, but asked Nanika to turn the silk parks of the dress black and the lacy bits purple. His veil turned dark grey.

The shawl became as white as the day it was made and he (occasionally) just wears that as his connection to his new family.

And just left out the part where they wanted him to come, despite him not wanting to, and Illumi basically mentally abused, maybe even brainwashed and/or hypnotized him into coming home.

Yeah, ofc he wasn't turned way; they basically all but forced him to come home; a place where he was unhappy, and then had him tortured punished for weeks (which, considering how Killua's took it and reacted to it; is something the Zoldycks do often. Which is terrible). Also, he is the family heir, so once again, ofc they want him back. It is so weird that ur roommate focused so much on "they took him back"; considering that, and everything else about the Zoldyck family.

Also, Illumi is just delusional (I love him though).

I can kind of see the Addams family and Zoldyck Family comparasioin myself. I have actually made the comparasion myself sometimes. However, the Zoldycks are infinitely worse. Much worse.

Also, there being love, or some kind/form of love, doesn't make a family not abusive or dysfunctional. It is actually is/can be a very realistic thing for there to still be care and love actually.

I think on a purely objective level both the Zoldycks and Ushiromiyas are/were more dysfunctional. There are different interpretations and takes and both The Zoldycks and Asanos are validly dysfunctinoal. And I don't really think comparing trauma and stuff like that is the best really.

However, I do think just objectively (and again, while I do have more preference for HxH over AssClassroom. I have still watched and/or read both series, and love both. And when it comes to Umineko and AssClassroom, while I love both. Unlike Assassination Classroom, I haven't fully completed Umineko yet. Not counting the anime; which I have fully completed. So my love and/or exposure towards them are probably more equal; if not, me having even more exposure with Assissanation Classroom. And I still think the Ushiromiyas should have won) that both the Zoldycks and the Ushiromiyas (I know they lost, but I do think they should have won. Not saying Asanos haven't deserved how far they got. But against some of them, like the Ushiromiyas, I do think the Ushiromiyas should have won) should have won and/or should win.

The best thing about the Zoldyck family in HxH is that they are not at all lgbtqphobic, they just care that their family is successful and making money in the end even though it’s in the most toxic way possible.

They call Alluka and Nanika an “it” as in a creature, or “him” instead of the she/her pronouns they go by, not because they’re transphobic but because there is a literal demon/creature inside the child that can and will kill them if they make the wrong choice and say the wrong thing. Alluka is no longer their child, and while it is upsetting tbh if one of my family members has a creature inside of them or a split personality that can and will kill me I’m not gonna be favorable or respect them much either, it’s like being chill with a murderer that is on edge all the time and will kill you. Killua ofc is the exception Mf main character child so he’s obviously safe, but what about the rest of the family? They’re not.

Another thing is that Kikyo loves dressing up and stuff as shown by her outrageous clothes and her personality, you can’t tell me that the two of them wouldn’t have loved to dress up together, and according to the hunterpedia Kalluto is jealous of Alluka so other than a simple sibling jealousy there would be no problems between the two. The rest of the family seems to have no problems with Alluka other than Nanika so safe to say she would be chill even if she was trans as long as she continued to help with family business and didn’t have Nanika.

Also Illumi is literally married to Hisoka, and there hasn’t been any type of resistance based off of what his family would say. If the family was lgbtqphobic he would’ve turned it down immediately even if money and their reputation actually not so sure if this so don’t take my word for gold was at stake, so safe to say that the family is not lgbtqphobic.

All of this is just to say that a literal abusive family of assassins is more welcoming and accepting than the average fucking person. Aka me overthinking during practice as my mind wanders during breaks and drills.

How I think the main 4 would celebrate Xmas 🎄

My loooong list of hcs I have of them reuniting 🥰

They all agree to meet up on Leorio's house to spend some days there and be together on Christmas 🥰

Since they're all on different places they have to plan how to get there!!

Gon tells Killua and Alluka to meet up and go together from there!

Melody agreed to take Kurapika to Leorio's house on a car ride since it wasn't that far away.

When Killua and Gon reunite they give each other the biggest hug ever! (There were some tears Killua will deny) On the way they tell each other's their journey and Alluka joins them ofc!!

Kurapika is the first one to arrive to Leorio's house whom would welcome him with a bone crushing hug.

Meanwhile the kids arrive they have time to tidy the house and decorate it! They also talk about well, everything that happened on the black whale 🙄 (they survived! Yay! Let's pretend they fixed their problems too)

When the rest of them arrives they both welcome them too, lots of hugs kisses and "don't ruffle my hair I'm not a kid anymore"

Leorio shows them the room where they'll be staying and they start laying everything down.

Leorio and Kurapika share bed because I want them to.

One of them is going ice skating! They're all terrible at it. The only ones who are a bit safe are Gon and Kurapika. They lost their privilege once they wanted to start moving tho 😅

They also made gingerbread houses together! It started as a innocent activities although Killua would start getting competitive and they ended up making a contest (Nanika was the judge, they all lost)

Xmas dinner ends up being BURNT. Guess who did it 🙄 they end up having take out, no regrets because it's good. They watch Grinch while eating because no one aside from Leorio has seen it?!? Unacceptable.

Even tho Kalluto isn't here we didn't forget about them nononono. On Xmas day they all facetime them and talk about how's everything 😊 they show them the Xmas tree too, which is full of decorations and pretty much tacky.

The gifts!!! 😱😱😱 They woke up the next day and there's presents under the tree yay!!!

Killua gets a new switch 🥳 from second hand tho, wonder why

Finally is the day of the goodbye noo 😞 but it's fine!! Cause the kids go together to live more adventures and Kurapika stays in Leorio's house for some more time for the sake of my mental stability 😊😊😊 a win for everyone!

- One thing about Alluka is that she LOVES flower crowns. Even though she’s not skilled on how to make them, she’ll want to learn and try her best! She usually picks whatever flowers she sees from the ground, and when she’s collected enough, Alluka will start working on it immediately!! When she finally gives it to you, there might be a few flowers coming out of place, but she’s super proud of herself and happy to give it to you.

- Alluka is very open to making new friends, so it really wasn’t that hard to become friends with you. If you’re nice to her, then she’ll immediately be nice to her. It’s super quick to warm up to her mainly because she just loves meeting new people!

- Bonus points if you and Killua are already friends. Any friend of her big brother is a friend of hers!! She’ll always get so excited if one of you offer to plan hangouts with each other.

- EXTRA bonus points if you’re nice to Nanika. Nanika’s her literal other half it’s an absolute must to be kind to her.

- She’ll try to protect you (in like the cutest way 🥺). If anyone tries to be mean to you, no matter how tough-looking they are, Alluka will always stand in front to stand up for you. She’ll probably say something along the lines of “Stop being mean to _____!!” and then demand said person to apologize.

- Okay so Alluka loves dresses, and having someone accompanying her just to buy new clothes would make her so happy. If you guys ever go to a clothing store, looking at all the pretty dresses will just make her so excited! If you happen to gift her one of these clothes, Alluka will just be beaming with happiness, immediately planning on when to wear it!!

- SHE LOVES GIVING YOU RANDOM HUGS

- She’ll always ask if you want to travel to new places/ towns or go exploring!! Since she’s been locked away for the majority of her life, Alluka was always stuck in the same room 24/7. So because of this, Alluka will always take up any chance to travel with you!! Whenever you guys go to new towns, her enthusiasm and curiosity spikes up and she will take you by the arm and literally just pull you around everywhere. 

- It’s SUPERR easy to hold a conversation with Alluka. Normally, she’ll listen to everything you have to say, always asking you a bunch of questions left and right because she’s just so intrigued (especially when you tell Alluka a bunch of interesting stories). She’ll also tell you lots stories of Killua and her when they were younger!!

- GIVE HER COMPLIMENTS!! Alluka loves hearing compliments from people and they will always make her day!! You’ll notice a biggg smile on her face after, she just gets so happy to hear them :D
