So basically I was inspired by the old batman series, mainly because there are so many character ideas (Including a guy who is absolutely cornering the market for knockout gas), and it slowly turned into a supervillain company making homegrown henchmen. Dr Evalyn Shaw is the head scientist (and only scientist. Despite the whole thing being making test tube babies they're also penny pinchers) and she used to work for the government. Cue classic mad scientist experiment gone wrong origin story. Daniel "Bullet" Truth was originally one of the bodyguards that one could hire, but got shot on his first mission (hence his nickname, given by Marcus, an a-hole still in the bodyguard division) and was assigned to help Dr. Shaw with the experimentation, his first being project 005 aka Samuel who, like most others, died a painful death. However, some had managed to escape, such as Adam. The first test subject, Adam is incredibly unstable and near died during creation. Our current subject is 039, aka Gloria (Bullet always gives the children names even though he knows they're going to die anyway) whose powers and telekinesis and telepathy. Bullet hates the cycle of "Make child. Train child. Push child too hard. Child explodes." and plans to take down Hench.co and become a hero, and hopes to convince Dr. Shaw, because he does care about her and sees that this whole thing is taking a big toll on her even if she pretends she's emotionless to not get in the way of her research. Unfortunately, Marcus is onto him.
