Kaveh had to mark himself as incredibly confused by the sight. Not so much that someone else would come to the newly opened ruin, but more than the other just didn't look RIGHT. The other did not look remotely prepared to be out in the desert, looking far rather like he had appeared right in the ruin rather than traversed the dust and sand outside. But the sand and brambles in his hair begged to differ.

The architect wasn't sure what to expect when the other opened his mouth. Equal amounts of confusion? Perhaps memory loss? Honestly Kaveh was prepared for just about anything, except the recognition.

"Oh. Heh..." Kaveh ran a hand down the back of his head - messy hair having been braided into a more casual up-do than his usual. "That's me. Sorry that I can't say I have the pleasure of knowing your name. Though I hope to change that."

She holds his gaze, strangely comfortable watching the eyes of another. Particularly his, she's decided. There's something there, something that calls her, something she cannot explain. Familiarity, a voice whispers.

Even after he has looked away, she watches him, watches his shoulders rise and fall with his breath. Then finally, she breaks her watchful eye on him to look to the dregs of her second drink. She has turned her gaze back on him, ever so patient for his response.

Her fingers grasp gently around the shot glass. The words 'in between' echo in her ears, a reminder of what she is, what she was and perhaps what she will become. All heavy on her shoulders - an equal weight to the worries she expressed.

"I agree. I believe good and evil are subjective, based upon the opinions of the observer." A bittersweet smile stretched the side of her face as she lifted the shot in a thankful salute. "To the 'in between'."
