Keigo noticed the way you’d look at the tv when there was a cute kitten on screen, how your eyes would light up the same way before you moved in.

Well moving in was a different way to put it, but to keigo you moving in was for your safety. You had been kidnapped by the lov, a quirkless little thing like yourself was to be made an example of. Luckily he saved you just in time.

You introduce yourself to him in the ambulance, your laugh stealing his heart. He was smitten by the first interaction. But things got worse, more dangerous. It got to the point of villains targeting you. It was the only way to protect you.

It was an adjustment, for keigo and you. But the sleeping pills made it easier for him to move you in, talking your most sentimental items. Your other possessions were cheap and you deserved better, which he gladly provided.

But even after you were allowed out of the bedroom, allowed to roam the estate that was high up in the mountains, even when he allowed you to go into the garden, you still had a gloomy air. But whenever you see a cute animal something sparks within you.

That is why he is here, finding the perfect cat for you, he wanted something cute, something that is perfect. But there was one that stood out, a tiny kitten, smaller than its siblings, the ring of the litter. One look and he knew you’d fall in love.

He knew he couldn’t just give him to you, that would be too easy, he takes the kitten right outside the estate, and makes the kitten dirty, and lets it wander the garden.

Looking through the trees he sees you bend down and smile, the kitten taking to you right away. You look around and pick up the kitten, he smiles while hearing your laughter, it’s like music to his ears.

He looses track of how long it was till he returned home, hearing your laughs instead of sobs made his heart swell. Then he sees you playing with the kitten with a smile on your face.

Walking in he clears his throat, gaining your attention as the kitten hides behind you.

“No.” He says seeing her face drop.

“Keigo, please. It will be like-“ you pause. Intrigued keigo urges you to go on,”like a practice child. For when we are older and you are retired from hero work,”

He thought he was going to pass away from happiness. Ignoring you pained look when you said that.

“Very well Angel. But I get somethings. Got it?”

“What are they keigo? You ask.

“1. I want you to greet me when I get home with a hug and a kiss and a smile. 2: when I leave in the mornings I want a kiss goodbye. 3: every other day I get to pick your outfit. 4: when I ask for you to keep me company, or for cuddles, you will plop down on my lap. No complaining about it too. 5: when I do something nice, you will thank me and give me a kiss. Those are all for now. Do we have a deal?” His tone was demanding and his stance was intimidating. Like, he's spent his whole life believing that he's not deserving of love; he's sought out people who will need him, because he's convinced himself that that's the only way he can escape from his own mind. You are the first person who makes him believe that he deserves more than that—and without you, he has nowhere to turn. He stays with Rika because he doesn't know what else to do—because she's the only person who's made him feel like he has a purpose in life—because he's convinced that allowing himself to wither away for the sake of someone else is the only option for him.

It's not your fault for choosing Ray, of course. It's never your fault that V suffers—but oh, he does suffer. He's broken and empty. He's in the dark and he can't see a way out.

Now, I do believe that it's possible for him to recover after the events of the AE. I think with time—and therapy—and some distance from his previous life—he has the potential to find himself again in this ending. I think there's hope for him (I really do)—but still: it's so hard to watch him fall apart.

He just can���t get his head around the fact that you don’t see yourself as he does; it’s a cruel joke, he thinks, and he’s determined to change your punchline. Generally speaking, you have a dark sense of humour and Arthur really connects deeply with you over that. Over the weeks and months that you spend time together, Arthur’s comedic material becomes more tailored to you and what is guaranteed to make you laugh, so deeply in love with you is he that unless you’re smiling, the entire world is wrong and it must be corrected. You don’t cope well with your anxiety but it’s something that Arthur is more than familiar with so he’s more than willing to help you in any way that he can, learning all of your verbal and non-verbal cues as quickly as he can so that he can help you best. There is nothing you could ever say or do which would ever make Pat love you any less; you are the girl who defended him from people spreading rumours about how he had set a State Trooper on fire (that was how you had met), and he had been determined to thank you for it ever since. You wouldn’t accept gifts or anything of the sort so instead he offered you his friendship, which no one else in the school has... you said yes, of course you did, and from there had a natural and beautiful relationship blossomed. You don’t cope well with your anxiety and though Pat was unsure, he recognised the signs and he went and did some ‘research’ - and by that I mean he sought out the counsellor and pretended that he had been feeling a certain way and from there did he find out everything that he needed to know to properly help you. You never annoy him by asking for reassurance - he loves you for all of you.

No one ever bothers to get to know Pat because of his reputation and you have social anxiety and you can’t wrap your head around the thought that people want to be your friend, but Pat is stubborn and he can sense that you want to believe that he wants to be your friend and then something more, and that’s why he pushes it. Not in an aggressive way, more in a “oh, hush. Let me sit here - I want to, okay?” way. Pat won’t let you pull away from him because he knows that your thoughts are just that - thoughts - and they have no real bearing on reality, though of course that doesn’t make them any easier to deal with. You love rainy days and listening to music and Pat makes sure that he learns your favourite songs so that he can sing or hum them to you when you’re especially anxious in a public place, one hand holding a cigarette and the other wrapped tightly around your hand, his thumb stroking soothingly along the back of your hand. You adore quiet nights in and Pat is forever knocking on your door late at night because “I can’t sleep” and by that he means he wants to be cuddled and to wake up with you in the morning. Silly puns are his go-to to make you smile and he adores the way the smile lights up your face.“You’re so beautiful when you smile”  and when you shake your head because you don’t believe him, he shakes his head but he lets it rest. Ooh I watched moana last week with my roomies! It was good, I like the main song a lot. The chicken though, I can't deal with that chicken.
