Soooo part of my @gaiamtv Conscious Cleanse, I am to drink a green smoothie every day for breakfast. Breakfast is my most favorite meal of the day but something about these smoothies has NOT got me missing my usual egg white omelettes. And this particular one I made this morning was so delicious that you'd wanna talk dirty to it. Here's what's in my Ninja juice: 1 cup coconut water 1 cup water (cuz I ran out of coconut water) 1/2 frozen banana 1/2 mango 5 pineapple chunks 2 cups swiss chard 2 slices of fresh ginger root 1 tbs chia seeds Drinking a green smoothie every day and doing this cleanse has most definitely made me conscious of what foods irritate my stomach which then irritate my mood. 😐 By not having dairy, eggs, soy, and gluten and wheat products, I've noticed a huge change in not only my digestive system, but in the way my body looks. Well, this Conscious Cleanse also includes yoga every day....and that helps my tummy, my mind, my body and my heart feel better 😊 Wanted to share with all of you because when you feel GOOD, you wanna help make everyone else feel GOOD too! Not gonna lie. I just extremely impressed myself with this meal I just made AT HOME. HOLY. CRAP. I'd totally date me. Shit, I'd put a ring on it. So this is what I did..... Small, organic side salad of spring mix and spinach with fat free balsamic vinaigrette, balsamic roasted organic carrots and broiled lamb loin chops rubbed with organic raw garlic, seasoned with sea salt, pepper and freshly chopped organic rosemary (from my own personal plant). This meal was STOOOOPIDDD!!! And so damn easy. Stoopid. Two very intelligent people that, in their own way, have changed the world. Nature is one thing that inspires me because we can learn so much from it. DELISH Kale Chips!!! And such a healthy snack! I LOVED the tangy taste to these! Here's the recipe! •1 or 2 TB olive oil •1 TB freshly squeezed lime juice •1 bunch kale •1/2 tsp sea salt Preheat oven 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with waxed or parchment paper. In small bowl, combine olive oil & lime juice and set aside. Rinse and dry kale thoroughly. (Be sure kale is dry, or you'll have have steamed or burned chips.) Remove kale stems and cut leaves into small pieces. Spread kale on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle oil/juice mixture. Bake for 10-12 mins or until crispy. Stay close to the oven because these can burn very quickly. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle sea salt. Boom!
