Oh man. The twilight femslash scene is truly empty right now and it sucks. I thought the renaissance would inspire more fics but its a wasteland. It truly baffles me when a new twilight bella/Rosalie or bella/Alice fic appears, and its a freaking slow burn. STOP PRETENDING LIKE YOU ARE GOING TO FINISH YOUR SLOW BURN FIC. YOU ARE WASTING EVERYONE’S TIME.

I do feel bad complaining but i also hate reading the first chapter of a fic that will never be completed. And you can ALWAYS tell.

Tonight i looked up whether Stephanie Meyer has kids or not, and I’m very happy to say that, NO, she doesn’t. Thank God.

Making Jacob imprint on an actual newborn baby is almost comically evil/disturbed.

PLEASE don’t have kids lady

Update: So apparently she does have children. Sorry yall. Wishful thinking maybe.

What is your dream fic? For scientific purposes

Well, if we are talking about twilight, I really love “bella with a backbone”, rather than her being super timid and shy like she is in canon. I love when writers give her confidence and she’s unapologetic about what she wants. I read fanfiction to get something different than what the original story gave (which is why i love twilight fanfiction so much, the original story is so bad, that any fic is usually a thousand times better), i dont want Bella to be a shy little lamb like she is in the books. Rosella is my fav pairing, and I really love when Rosalie actually realizes and accepts the bond right away, rather than being all dramatic because she hates being a vampire and doesn’t want to turn bella. I want her to actually pursue bella, like she actually likes and wants her, rather than acting like she hates bella to push away, which is what most people write. I want them to be affectionate with each other, all that cute mushy stuff. And i want them together pretty early into the fic. Im not a fan of slow burns. I like instant gratification. I dont mind conflict, because all fluff all the time can get a little dull, but I want conflicts to be resolved in a timely manner. Some people drag things out in their stories, and it always frustrates me. I also like when bella is already supernatural/becomes supernatural in some way that isnt as a vampire. I always think that’s interesting to read. Like the cullens try to figure out what she is? So mysterious lol. But yeah, Rosalie actually trying to woo bella, maybe bella plays a little hard to get, but she’s confident and she wants to be with Rosalie too. Thats my dream fic. I also wouldn’t turn down smut, but its not necessary.

I’ve been seeing several fanfic writers deciding to move their fics to Patreon. There’s nothing wrong with trying to make money for your writing. I completely understand that. But there is a difference between monetizing your own writing and monetizing someone else’s intellectual property. Trying to make money off of fanfiction is wrong. The whole point of fanfiction is that its free to read! I just think its really shitty to come back to these stories you’ve written that people love (that you DO NOT OWN), and say, “hey, if you wanna read any more, even though this has been free up until this point, you have to pay me. Also I don’t plan to give the original author any royalties or money. Thanks!” Please don’t think that your writing is that special and amazing that I’m willing to pay money for it. There are hundreds of thousands of writers who put good shit on here for free!! If you had been writing fanfiction that I really enjoyed and loved, and you say “hey, im writing an original story, please support me on Patreon!” Thats an entirely different thing, and I would have no trouble supporting that. But I’m not gonna pay you to steal someone’s intellectual property. Please get over yourself 😐😐. Had to get this off my chest.
