Health remedies
Sometimes happens that we get a sick and we don't want to go to the doctor. But we want to stop feeling bad and we don't know what to do. In this blog I'll share you how to treat a cold and sore throat without any medicine. El ajo es un antibiótico natural que refuerza el sistema inmunológico contra los virus, so can help us with the cold.. We can prepare an infusion of garlic, for this we cut three cloves of garlic into small pieces, boil them for 10 minutes with a liter of water, let it rest, strain the infusion and drink it while still hot. About two cups of this infusion will help you calm the cough, clear the bronchial tubes and decongest.
A remedy as simple as it is effective. The warm water with lemon and honey soothes both the throat infection, the irritation and the itchiness that the cough produces. It is as simple as heating water, adding the juice of half a lemon and a few teaspoons of pure honey and drinking in small sips. You can take this drink several times a day, until the discomfort you feel in your throat is relieved.

Differences and Similarities between Australia and Mexico
- Traditions:
-Small talk with Cabbies: Australian people use to engage in a small talk with the taxi’s driver, in Mexico we also do that.
-Schoolies week: Refers to the Australian tradition of high-school graduates having week-long holidays following the end of their final exams in late November and early December. In Mexico we present our exams after finishing classes.
- Festivals:
-New year’s Eve: The country is engulfed in fireworks, light shows, and parties along the beaches. In Mexico we don’t have a huge new year celebration as Australia does.
-Melbourne International Arts Festival: An international festival that seeks out all forms of art that are out there – dance, music, visual arts, theatre as well as the lost art of the circus, it is very similar to the “Festival de Mexico”.
- Cultural differences
-Religion
When we talk about religion we can see that in the two cultures practice many religions, one in common is the Christian.
-Values
Humility and authenticity are strong values in Australian culture, in change the loyalty to family and close friends is more important for the mexican culture.
-Relationships
Australians tend to have a preference for building relationships with people who are authentic, down to earth and easy going and for the mexicans that is an aspect important too but as well if one person don't have that characteristics isn't an impediment for building a relationship.
-Lenguage
The language is obviously different in each culture, while the australians talk english, the mexicans talk spanish.
- Cultural Activities
There are not many differences when it comes to literature, sports, etc., when it comes to music and art, it has a small difference, compared to Mexico, we have diverse indigenous peoples, while they have few aboriginal tribes, While they have a style of music and art in that aspect, Mexico has more variety, from the embroidery of the Isthmus to the Mayan weaving among others. Although, regarding sports, there are some that are more marked and valued in Australia, such as Rubgy, among others.
- Subculture:
Inviting a drink: In Mexico it is very common to invite someone for a drink and talk about business.
In Australia it is very bad to talk about business while drinking. It's considered discourteous, unless you had agreed to that.

BTS

This is a k-pop boy band and is one of my favourites bands. I learn some things about the korean culture following this band. Obviously they sing in korean, but the interesting of the music of korea is that they mix the english and the corean, the songs has more parts in korean but sometimes the chorus is in english and in the verses they use some words in english. That's interesting but the most awesome or the thing that the more shocked me is the they dance super mega well and they have a lot of difficult choreographies in almost all their songs. When we compared the latin music videos or the american music videos with the korean music videos for me the corean are the most interesting.
