Still in love with Kelly Green

This piece has been weighing heavy in my mind. It’s bright and playful and intended as a celebration of our new home in Pittsburgh. But in light of the awful, awful news about family separations at the border, it makes me a little sick to my stomach. I’m so fortunate to have a warm safe home, and at the same time children suffer because the cruelty enacted by my own government. So long story short I’ve decided to donate anything I make by selling this print to the ACLU. It’s not up on my Etsy yet, but it will be soon. Until then if there’s any way that you feel that you can give I urge you not to hesitate. Here’s a link to the ACLU’s page.

Holiday Cards printed last week at Tip Type with a lot of help from Tip Type. I’ve only used cylinder presses before so this was my first time on a Platen Press and it was super intimidating but so so cool! I can’t wait to get my proper sea legs and print another project. Here’s hoping I keep all my fingers!
