10 DAY CHALLENGE
We are getting ready for the last 10 Days of the Fit &Health Challenge!! But this time we are changing our food habits: excludes all kind of carbohydrates after breakfast instead we would eat vegetables, meat, fish, cheese, yoghurts and a lot of water! Our program for tomorrow;  Breakfast: 100 gr five grain bread, 1 Apple, 1 Orange. Lunch: Omelet with tomatoes, onion, garlic and pepper garnished with cheddar cheese. Dinner: Tuna salad with tomatoes, onion, pickle and 2 TS of 0% Yogurts. Share the challenge!!

We love pink, we love our moms. If you feel similarly, these monogrammed notebooks with pen combo from Poppin is sort of the perfect mother’s day gift.

Get Ready For Summer 2013
The summer is finally approaching!! As we sit outside taking the wonderful sun, we were full of anticipation for summertime. So we compiled a fabulous list for you to help you to get ready for summer 2013
To Do List
1.       Get back into shape! After a cold winter and a rainy spring, most of us a craving to get our sexy back. No more waiting time, let’s do it now. Here are some great exercises that you can do easily at home.
ABS:  vertical leg crunch, reverse crunch, plank exercise, bicycle
LEGS: squats, lunges, plié
THIGH: Knee lifting
  2.       No one likes sunburn! It’s best to use sun block to harsh UV-raises. We found that Nivea sun cream 30 is great a great protect smells wonderful and soft to the touch.
  3.       No doubt, the most important thing for summer is the perfect Bikini for your body shape.  This year we love the bandeau bikini and leather flip-flops to complete the look.
  4.       Choosing a summer fragrance can be quiet challenging some times. We always opt for fresh light scent. For us, Chanel No. 5, a jasmine-infused fragrance is a good choice for this summer.
  5.       Summer is the perfect season for a light make-up, nothing too heavy. You can keep the foundation away and chose colorful but still smart eye shadow. Have you dared to try neon? Here is a tip from Galmour Magazine online and their favorite trend of the season: “tell the world you’re not afraid of colour, try neon!” – we agree! So next time in grocery store, the mission will be to find a neon pink lipstick.

15 day fitness and health challenge
Hi all! My Name is Lisa Klinkenberg, I am an Intern for SGS from Belgium and for the next month, I will be a part of the sociable girls.
SGS will help me to learn about another culture, thoughts, feelings and interests of women my age. I am looking forward to getting to know you, hearing your story, and what SGS contributes to your life.  Personally I am very sociable, I love being with other people and making new connections, because everyone has a story to tell and you never know, if this story is going to change your life or will be a piece of the puzzle of life.
One of the first things I learned about Americans, is that they love the challenge. My passion is health and fitness. To me, fitness challenges are motivational, inspirational and good for your body and health. So I decide to create my own 15 day fitness and health challenge.
Why 15 days?  Last year, when I was in Istanbul for 4 month for an exchange program, I also accepted a challenge with my roommate. She was trying to loose weight and read about a 10 days challenge. We got up every morning at 6:45 am, went out for a 50 minutes jog, had breakfast together and then class. In the afternoon we went to the gym for another 50 minutes powerwalk, and then abs, thighs and tush (without equipment, just our body). During this 10 days, we ate fruits and oatmeal in the morning, carbohydrates for lunch (not more than 70gr) and for dinner just proteins.
I am already a very healthy person and I wouldn’t describe myself as fat. But I always pay attention to what I eat. After this 10 days challenge, I lost 4.5 pounds and was very happy because I finally was at my ideal weight. After the 10 days there was a “keeping” program; how to keep this weight. It was very easy, 3 x a week jogging, every day walking for at least 30 minutes, never use an elevator, introduce one protein day, and eat carbohydrates for dinner just once or twice a week (maybe for a special occasion or when you’re out with friends. After a while, it didn’t feel like a program anymore, it became a fit lifestyle for me. I love it because I always feel better after running or working out. It’s a rewarding feeling every day. Unfortunately, I had a little backlash and motivation break-down because of an injury. The fact that I had to stop training for 3 weeks made me very unhappy and I gained the 4.5 pounds back. But I learned much from this experience. Never give up! Why do we always need to be injured to realize how amazing our life is? We should learn to be happy even through the injury—or any kind of situation and learn to make the best of it. We are still capable of so much more!

You’re given just one body, so make the best of it and enjoy every day! And enjoy especially the fact, that you can have this fit lifestyle. I welcome you to join me my 15 day get fit and healthy challenge and to venture the fit lifestyle and to reward yourself with a toned body!
My 15 days challenges main body:
Try to cook for yourself, take a 5 hours break between your meal, eat 3 times a day, prefer fruits in the morning more than in the afternoon (=fruits are carbohydrates with a lot of sugar) and try out new things new and learn. For me, it’s yoga and learning about fit and health techniques. I’ll try to do yoga 5 times during this 15 challenge and to watch a least one tutorial video.
My first 5 days goes as fallow:
I get up every morning at 6:45 am to go out for a run for 30 minutes. If you can’t jog, walk! Have breakfast before I get ready for the day. Breakfast varies between a fruit salad, oatmeal with apples, and whole meal bread with sugar free jam. Lunch: varies between spaghetti, meat, salad, vegetables, rice… Always whole meal In the evening, before dinner I focus on Work-out exercises in the living room or in the gym.
For Dinner: PROTEINS, any kind.
The last 10 days we have cardio training in the evening like zumba, spinning and aerobic. Whatever you prefer J
For the last 7 days; protein challenge. Only proteins after breakfast. That’s going to be hard, but we know why we are doing this! We love challenges.
Ok, this is the main idea of my challenge. Starting Wednesday, I’ll post every day an insider tip how to incorporate a fit and healthy lifestyle in your daily life.

5 best iPhone Apps for the Sociable Girl
  With so many apps available, it can be quite difficult to keep track of them all. We know that finding the perfect app that is beneficial to you is no easy feat either.  
On my iPhone I have so many categories where I separated the Apps by topic like “News”, “Fun”, “Simplify Your Life” and “Shopping”.
This morning I realized that sometimes I get lost on my own phone and that it takes too much time to find the right app when I actually need it.
 So I decided to clean my iPhone and get rid of the apps that I haven’t used in a while. I created my own TOP 5 iPohne Apps that I know you’re going to love.  
1.    Dinner Spinner-- the COOKING APP
Have you ever wondered what to cook, but had no clue? No inspiration? No time go over pages in a cookbook? Much less, drive over to the grocery store.
This problem can easily be solved with the dinner spinner App, which can search for recipes based on the ingredients you already have in your fridge.  It also gives you access to more than 40,000 recipes, let you bookmark and share your favorites with your friends!

2.    Pill Reminder--The HEALTH App
Sometimes days are crazy and it when it comes to taking the pill you can get quiet mixed up, right ?  
The Pill Reminder by Bayer Healthcare reminds you every day at the same time to take the pill. All you need to do is register the time you wish to be reminded, the size of the package and the day of cycle. Personally I love this app. I have never forgotten a pill since the day I started using it.

3.    Stylish Girl – the FASHION app
Too frequent I find myself buying clothes with no idea what I am really looking for, what I need or what could match with my clothes I already have in my wardrobe. Stylish Girl helps finding the right combination between the clothes I already own and what’s in stores.

4.    Yoga Stretch – the SPORT app
Yoga makes you feel better, healthier in body, mind and spirit. It’s especially important when we have no time. And if you have no time, you’re probably not going to gym. That’s where Yoga STRETCH comes in handy. It’s a great alternative when you want to practice at home verses the gym.
The App leads you through the poses accompanied by a nature-themed soundtrack, which you can replace with your own music as well ;-)

5.     4 Pics 1 Word – the GAME app
Whether you’re on the beach, at the pool or while waiting on the bus, there is always time to play a game. Personally, I like puzzles. And 4 Pics 1 Word allows me to brood over the solution even if they are obvious. All you need to do is to find the right word that matches the 4 pics on your screen.
