The secret to adulting is this:
Reduce your resistance against the things you know you have to do.
You don’t have to like it. You don’t have to enjoy it.
You just need to stop avoiding, delaying, or ignoring what you know to be in your best interest.
With repeated experience of the benefits, you will learn to appreciate the honoring of your necessities.

Types of dumplings.
I went to Asia, and China in the summer for two months last year and returned to America. I love dumplings, and we took pride in making dumplings and creating delicious food at home. The first meal I had after I landed was dumplings. We talked and tried to work things out. There are tons of ways to feel like you’re doing something meaningful when making dumplings. Check out this list of popular dumpling styles you might see all the time!
Shuijiao Dumplings are water boiled dumplings easily found in restaurant. My mom taught me shuijiao dumplings at home. Popular meat fillings include ground meat (usually pork, but sometimes beef or chicken), shrimp, and even fish. I boil frozen ones and stir them to prevent sticking to the sides. I’ve tried a few brands, and WeiQuan is like the go-to for Chinese dumplings.
Soup dumplings (Xiaolongbao 小笼包)is a small type of steamed bun, they were prepared in a small bamboo steaming basket. made with locally sourced pork, shrimp, and/or chicken, and a rich, savory broth. Check out this awesome dumpling spot in San Francisco: Dumpling Time in the Design District.
So, there's this American restaurant adding some variety to their menu with guo tie, or pot stickers. They’re made with thinner wrappers and are pan-fried dumplings filled with ground meat and veggies. Dip 'em in some soy sauce, and you’ve got a perfect snack to tide you over until dinner!
The big difference between dumplings and wontons is that in Chinese food, dumplings are a whole category, while wontons are just one type. Dumplings usually come with a dipping sauce since their filling is lightly seasoned, but wontons don’t need one because their filling is packed with flavor. Also, dumplings are typically round, while wontons can be triangular, rectangular, or even square!
Mandu dumplings come from Korea and you can have them in all sorts of ways—steamed, boiled, pan-fried, or deep-fried. They’re usually filled with ground pork or beef and come with some tasty kimchi on the side. These dumplings are super satisfying! If you like a little heat, try pairing them with a mildly spicy sauce for an awesome flavor kick! If you want frozen ones, try bibigo, those Korean dumplings are pretty tasty! Bibigo mandu can be steamed, boiled, or prepared in other ways.
Gyoza is kinda like potstickers—basically Japanese pan-fried dumplings. They're usually stuffed with ground pork or seafood, and they're perfect for dipping in sauce or just snacking on. If you're into frozen ones, try the Ajinomoto pork and chicken gyoza. They're seriously good!
