James is so me. Omanyte is actually one of my fav underrated Pokémon! I remember watching the Pokémon rap for the first time as a kid and seeing Omanyte and going, “OMG this is the cutest creature I’ve ever seen 🥺” I was really happy when I got to add him to my Let’s Go Pikachu team ☺️

The Nintendo partner showcase was in July, the indie showcase is this month... I'd bet money that they're saving a proper Nintendo Direct for September, specifically the SMB 40th anniversary.

Not sure about any big new announcements for 2025 besides release dates, but we might be getting teasers for a major Mario game in 2026 and.... please...

...Something... anything about the upcoming movie sequel.

unfortunately, due to budget cuts, the pokémon assigning quiz has been canceled. instead, you must spin THE WHEEL, assigning you a random, unevolved, non-legendary and non-mythical pokémon. you must now go on some sort of world-saving adventure as this pokémon. good luck!

tell me in the tags what you rolled, and how you feel about it - for bonus points, you can spin the wheel again for (or just take your pick of) a pokémon to be your partner.

bonus rules:
